Abstract

The article presents a quantitative proteomics study depicting the protective results of grape seed procyanidin B2 (GSPB2) on diabetic cardiomyopathy in db/db mice, a model of obesity mice. It states the increased in the number of diabetes mellitus incidence worldwide with common complications such as independent of coronary heart disease and atherosclerosis. It also emphasizes the characterization of diabetic cardiomyopathy and its structural and functional changes in the heart.
