Abstract
- A study conducted by the University of Ulsan College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, aimed to develop a Z score calculation model for coronary artery diameter in children and adolescents. The study collected data from 16 institutions across South Korea and analyzed the relationship between coronary artery diameter and demographic parameters. Separate calculation models were developed for each sex, and the final model used a polynomial formula with an exponential relationship between coronary artery diameter and body surface area. The researchers believe that this new model will help establish a consensus-based Z score model for clinical practice. [Extracted from the article]
