To facilitate better interpretation of dielectric response measurements--thereby directing numerical evidence for condition assessments of oil-paper-insulated equipment in high-voltage alternating current (HVAC) transmission systems--a novel approach is presented to estimate the parameters in the extended Debye model (EDM) using wideband frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS). A syncretic algorithm that integrates a genetic algorithm (GA) and the Levenberg-Marquardt (L-M) algorithm is introduced in the present study to parameterize EDM using the FDS measurements of a real-life 126 kV oil-impregnated paper (OIP) bushing under different controlled temperatures. As for the uncertainty of the EDM structure due to variable branch quantity, Akaike's information criterion (AIC) is employed to determine the model orders. For verification, comparative analysis of FDS reconstruction and results of FDS transformation to polarization--depolarization current (PDC)/return voltage measurement (RVM) are presented. The comparison demonstrates good agreement between the measured and reconstructed spectroscopies of complex capacitance and tan δover the full tested frequency band (10-4 Hz-10³ Hz) with goodness of fit over 0.99. Deviations between the tested and modelled PDC/RVM from FDS are then discussed. Compared with the previous studies to parameterize the model using time domain dielectric responses, the proposed method solves the problematic matching between EDM and FDS especially in a wide frequency band, and therefore assures a basis for quantitative insulation condition assessment of OIP-insulated apparatus in energy systems. For the security problem of the spread of digital image and the digital image encryption from plaintext and too depend on the chaotic systems, this paper proposed a digital image encryption and monitoring algorithm combined with plaintext-related chaotic mapping and SHA-256. The algorithm used the SHA-256 algorithm to calculate the hash value as record to monitor the spread of digital image. Lorenz chaotic mapping generated the corresponding cryptogram by using forward diffusion, associated plaintext scrambling and backward diffusion to encrypt the digital image. The Semantic Link Network is a general semantic model for modeling the structure and the evolution of complex systems. Various semantic links play different roles in rendering the semantics of complex system. One of the basic semantic links represents cause-effect relation, which plays an important role in representation and understanding. This paper verifies the role of the Semantic Link Network in representing the core of text by investigating the contribution of cause-effect link to representing the core of scientific papers. Research carries out with the following steps: (1) Two propositions on the contribution of cause-effect link in rendering the core of paper are proposed and verified through a statistical survey, which shows that the sentences on cause-effect links cover about 65% of key words within each paper on average. (2) An algorithm based on syntactic patterns is designed for automatically extracting cause-effect link from scientific papers, which recalls about 70% of manually annotated cause-effect links on average, indicating that the result adapts to the scale of data sets. (3) The effects of cause-effect link on four schemes of incorporating cause-effect link into the existing instances of the Semantic Link Network for enhancing the summarization of scientific papers are investigated. The experiments show that the quality of the summaries is significantly improved, which verifies the role of semantic links. The significance of this research lies in two aspects: (1) it verifies that the Semantic Link Network connects the important concepts to render the core of text; and, (2) it provides an evidence for realizing content services such as summarization, recommendation and question answering based on the Semantic Link Network, and it can inspire relevant research on content computing. Quantifying the impact of a scholarly paper is of great significance, yet the effect of geographical distance of cited papers has not been explored. In this paper, we examine 30,596 papers published in Physical Review C, and identify the relationship between citations and geographical distances between author affiliations. Subsequently, a relative citation weight is applied to assess the impact of a scholarly paper. A higher-order weighted quantum PageRank algorithm is also developed to address the behavior of multiple step citation flow. Capturing the citation dynamics with higher-order dependencies reveals the actual impact of papers, including necessary self-citations that are sometimes excluded in prior studies. Research paper recommenders emerged over the last decade to ease finding publications relating to researchers’ area of interest. The challenge was not just to provide researchers with very rich publications at any time, any place and in any form but to also offer the right publication to the right researcher in the right way. Several approaches exist in handling paper recommender systems. However, these approaches assumed the availability of the whole contents of the recommending papers to be freely accessible, which is not always true due to factors such as copyright restrictions. This paper presents a collaborative approach for research paper recommender system. By leveraging the advantages of collaborative filtering approach, we utilize the publicly available contextual metadata to infer the hidden associations that exist between research papers in order to personalize recommendations. The novelty of our proposed approach is that it provides personalized recommendations regardless of the research field and regardless of the user’s expertise. Using a publicly available dataset, our proposed approach has recorded a significant improvement over other baseline methods in measuring both the overall performance and the ability to return relevant and useful publications at the top of the recommendation list. With the rapid development of information technology, scientific social networks (SSNs) have become the fastest and most convenient way for researchers to communicate with each other. Many published papers are shared via SSNs every day, resulting in the problem of information overload. How to appropriately recommend personalized and highly valuable papers for researchers is becoming more urgent. However, when recommending papers in SSNs, only a small amount of positive instances are available, leaving a vast amount of unlabelled data, in which negative instances and potential unseen positive instances are mixed together, which naturally belongs to One-Class Collaborative Filtering (OCCF) problem. Therefore, considering the extreme data imbalance and data sparsity of this OCCF problem, a hybrid approach of Social and Content aware One-class Recommendation of Papers in SSNs, termed SCORP, is proposed in this study. Unlike previous approaches recommended to address the OCCF problem, social information, which has been proved playing a significant role in performing recommendations in many domains, is applied in both the profiling of content-based filtering and the collaborative filtering to achieve superior recommendations. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed SCORP approach, a real-life dataset from CiteULike was employed. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach is superior to all of the compared approaches, thus providing a more effective method for recommending papers in SSNs. When forklifts are used to move stored crops in a storage environment, the positioning system is severely affected by the presence of multiple stored crops and shelves and other complex factors in the environment. Aiming at the problems of low positioning and navigation accuracy and large accumulated error of forklift system, a Lidar/IMU integrated navigation and positioning method is proposed in this paper, which can improve the positioning accuracy of forklift truck in storage environment. Meanwhile, the improved EKF filtering algorithm is proposed in this paper which can optimize the navigation and positioning system. This method first extracts the environmental information obtained from Lidar scan measurements and the attitude information collected by the IMU. Then the output data from the two sensors are processed with the improved EKF filtering algorithm, which can improve the navigation and positioning accuracy when the forklift is working. The Lidar/IMU integrated navigation and positioning method proposed in this paper is validated by experiments simulating forklifts working in a warehouse environment in the laboratory. Through simulation experiments, it is verified that the improved EKF filtering algorithm in this paper can improve the positioning accuracy of forklift truck, accuracy of forklift movement trajectory, closer to the expected trajectory. Rationale The recent development of isotope ratio infrared spectroscopy (IRIS) was quickly followed by the addition of online extraction and analysis systems, making it faster and easier to measure soil and plant water isotopes. However, memory and sample size effects limit the efficiency and accuracy of these new setups. In response, this study presents a scheme dedicated to estimating and eliminating these two effects. Methods Memory effect was determined by injecting two standard waters alternately. Each standard was injected nine times in a row and analyzed using induction module cavity ring-down spectroscopy (IM-CRDS). Memory coefficients were calculated using a new 'multistage jump' algorithm. Sample size effects were evaluated by injecting water volumes ranging from 1 μL to 6 μL. Finally, the influence of cellulose filter paper on the isotopic measurements, the memory, and the sample size effect was evaluated by comparing it with glass filter paper. Results Memory effects were detected for both δ18O and δ2H values, with the latter being stronger. Isotopic differences between replicates of the same plant or soil sample showed a clear decrease after memory correction. A small water volume effect was found only when the injected water volume was larger than 3 μL. However, while the correction method performed well for laboratory-made samples, it did not for field samples, due to the heterogeneity of the isotopic composition of the samples. Stronger memory and water volume effects were found for cellulose filter paper. Conclusions The memory coefficients and the water volume-isotope relationship improved the consistency and accuracy of both laboratory and field data. Our results indicate that cellulose filter paper may not be a suitable medium to measure standard waters and evaluate memory and water volume effects. Abstract: More than just being a substrate, paper can also provide evidence for the provenance of documents. An earlier paper described a method to compare paper structure, based on the Fourier power spectra of light transmission images. Good results were obtained by using the 2D correlation of images derived from the power spectra as a similarity score, but the method was very computationally intensive. Different comparison algorithms are evaluated in this paper, using information theoretical criteria. An angular invariant algorithm turned out to be as effective as the original one but 4 orders of magnitude faster, making the use of much larger databases possible. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Accurate characterization is an important issue in paper currency recognition system. This paper proposes a robust paper currency recognition method based on Hidden Markov Model (HMM). By employing HMM, the texture characteristics of paper currencies are modeled as a random process. The proposed algorithm can be used for distinguishing paper currency from different countries. A similarity measure has been used for the classification in the proposed algorithm. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, experiments have been conducted on more than 100 denominations from different countries. In this paper, we investigate the performance of message-passing algorithms for the weighted min–max flow (WMMF) problem which was introduced by Ichimori et al. (1980). WMMF was well studied in combinational optimization, as it provides important applications in time transportation problem and the storage management problem. We develop a message-passing algorithm called min–max belief propagation (BP) for determining the optimal solution of WMMF. As the main result of this paper, we prove that for a digraph of size n , BP converges to the optimal solution within O (n 3) time after O (n) iterations if the optimal solution of the underlying min–max flow problem instance is unique. To the best of our knowledge, the fastest polynomial time algorithm for WMMF runs in essentially O (n 6) time among the known algorithms, where n is the number of vertices. To solve the control problem of time-varying state-scale nonlinear systems whose initial state is not affected by settling time, fixed-time convergence algorithms are proposed for first-order systems and higher-order systems in this paper. First, a scalar model is used to illustrate how the time-varying feedback parameter can guarantee that the system achieves asymptotic stability while achieving finite-time convergence, and it is proved that the settling time obtained in this paper is only related to the prescribed boundary. This allows us to design the settling time with an appropriate parameter based on the prescribed boundary. To exhibit the effectiveness and extensibility of the proposed algorithm for first-order scalar systems, the results are subsequently extended to general higher-order systems based on the backstepping method. By introducing numerical simulation results, this paper verifies that the proposed algorithm will make the system achieve asymptotic stability and its output can converge to a given boundary, regardless of the system's initial states. This paper aims to map out how the field of dynamic capabilities has developed since the seminal studies by Teece et al. (1997) and Eisenhardt and Martin (2000). We identified 10,838 papers and used the Latent Dirichlet Allocation algorithm for topic modeling. We conducted two analyses: the first was based on the temporality and characteristics of the studies; the second was interpretative and based on the network of theoretical concepts. Results indicate an approximation between the ideas of the two seminal studies, which were initially viewed as opposite. We observe a movement to value relational issues, following a collective construction path, and paying less attention to the firm itself. Overall, we were able to understand the consolidation of the dynamic capabilities field; understand the core elements involved in the development of dynamic capabilities; set out the original and current concepts of dynamic capabilities; and indicate tendencies and a possible future research agenda. Research into cultural tastes has commonly sought to analyze and understand preferences in terms of notions of familiarity. Such approaches are inadequate, however, when it comes to examining our engagement with unfamiliar cultural content. This paper responds to this gap by examining how people respond to algorithmic recommendations of culture through a case study of unfamiliar Australian art music. It firstly identifies three different "techniques' by which audiences engage with and value music: functional, emotional, and intellectual. The analysis then examines how these techniques, together with measures of familiarity and the acoustic "materiality" of the music itself, combine to predict the affective ratings given to music recommendations. The findings show that audiences display a surprising capacity to engage with the unfamiliar. The paper argues for the need to develop more nuanced understandings of the relationship between familiarity and preferences which are capable of accommodating a taste for the unfamiliar. In the last 16 years, more than 200 research articles were published about research-paper recommender systems. We reviewed these articles and present some descriptive statistics in this paper, as well as a discussion about the major advancements and shortcomings and an overview of the most common recommendation concepts and approaches. We found that more than half of the recommendation approaches applied content-based filtering (55 %). Collaborative filtering was applied by only 18 % of the reviewed approaches, and graph-based recommendations by 16 %. Other recommendation concepts included stereotyping, item-centric recommendations, and hybrid recommendations. The content-based filtering approaches mainly utilized papers that the users had authored, tagged, browsed, or downloaded. TF-IDF was the most frequently applied weighting scheme. In addition to simple terms, n-grams, topics, and citations were utilized to model users' information needs. Our review revealed some shortcomings of the current research. First, it remains unclear which recommendation concepts and approaches are the most promising. For instance, researchers reported different results on the performance of content-based and collaborative filtering. Sometimes content-based filtering performed better than collaborative filtering and sometimes it performed worse. We identified three potential reasons for the ambiguity of the results. (A) Several evaluations had limitations. They were based on strongly pruned datasets, few participants in user studies, or did not use appropriate baselines. (B) Some authors provided little information about their algorithms, which makes it difficult to re-implement the approaches. Consequently, researchers use different implementations of the same recommendations approaches, which might lead to variations in the results. (C) We speculated that minor variations in datasets, algorithms, or user populations inevitably lead to strong variations in the performance of the approaches. Hence, finding the most promising approaches is a challenge. As a second limitation, we noted that many authors neglected to take into account factors other than accuracy, for example overall user satisfaction. In addition, most approaches (81 %) neglected the user-modeling process and did not infer information automatically but let users provide keywords, text snippets, or a single paper as input. Information on runtime was provided for 10 % of the approaches. Finally, few research papers had an impact on research-paper recommender systems in practice. We also identified a lack of authority and long-term research interest in the field: 73 % of the authors published no more than one paper on research-paper recommender systems, and there was little cooperation among different co-author groups. We concluded that several actions could improve the research landscape: developing a common evaluation framework, agreement on the information to include in research papers, a stronger focus on non-accuracy aspects and user modeling, a platform for researchers to exchange information, and an open-source framework that bundles the available recommendation approaches. Abstract: In school, at least in the US, we were taught to multiply by hand according to a standard algorithm. Most people find that algorithm difficult to use, and many children fail to learn it. We propose a new way to make sense of this difficulty: to treat explicit computation as perceptually supported physical and mental action. Based on recent work in neuroscience, we trace the flow of arithmetic information to emphasize demands on visual working memory and attention. We predict that algorithms that make moderate demands on memory and attention will work better than others that make stronger demands. We suggest that the judicious use of spatial schemas can reduce such cognitive demands. Experimental evidence from children in an inner-city school supports this claim. Our work suggests new ways to think about instruction. The goal should be to minimize demands that present obstacles and maximize instead what human eyes, bodies, and brains do well. With the surge in astronomical data volume, modern astronomical research faces significant challenges in data storage, processing, and access. The I/O bottleneck issue in astronomical data processing is particularly prominent, limiting the efficiency of data processing. To address this issue, this paper proposes a tiered storage algorithm based on the access characteristics of astronomical data. The C4.5 decision tree algorithm is employed as the foundation to implement an astronomical data access correlation algorithm. Additionally, a data copy migration strategy is designed based on tiered storage technology to achieve efficient data access. Preprocessing tests were conducted on 418GB NSRT (Nanshan Radio Telescope) formaldehyde spectral line data, showcasing that tiered storage can potentially reduce data processing time by up to 38.15%. Similarly, utilizing 802.2 GB data from FAST (Five- hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope) observations for pulsar search data processing tests, the tiered storage approach demonstrated a maximum reduction of 29.00% in data processing time. In concurrent testing of data processing workflows, the proposed astronomical data heat correlation algorithm in this paper achieved an average reduction of 17.78% in data processing time compared to centralized storage. Furthermore, in comparison to traditional heat algorithms, it reduced data processing time by 5.15%. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is positively correlated with the associativity between the algorithm and the processed data. The tiered storage algorithm based on the characteristics of astronomical data proposed in this paper is poised to provide algorithmic references for large-scale data processing in the field of astronomy in the future. In this paper, the reentry phase of the Aerospaceplane is taken as the research object, and the performance parameters of the reusable rocket of a private company are analyzed. Aiming at the guidance and control scheme of the spacecraft returning to the reentry trajectory in the real environment, the original natural algorithm is optimized by considering various reentry flight constraints, and the improved original natural algorithm is used to optimize the reentry trajectory of the Aerospaceplane. We obtained two types of reentry trajectories in the presence of large flight-restricted areas, the "S-type" trajectory and the "spiral-type" trajectory, and obtained data on various influencing factors. The results showed that the basic state parameters of the spiral trajectory optimized using the improved original natural algorithm after adding constraints met the constraint conditions. The aerodynamic heating rate and overload of the spiral reentry trajectory were to some extent greater than those of the S-type trajectory. Under the increasingly stringent requirements of the aerospace environment, new requirements were put forward for the thermal protection system to meet the wider environmental situation. This paper uses the improved original natural algorithm for the first time and applies it to the field of aerospace reentry and entry and adds more constraints to this algorithm for computation. Besides, for the first time, the macroscopic nature of trajectory types is used as a comparative element for parameter comparison, providing a reference basis for selecting trajectory optimization directions from the macroscopic perspective of trajectory types. In industry, the task of defect classification and defect localization is an important part of defect detection system. However, existing studies only focus on one task and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of both tasks. This paper proposes a defect detection system based on improved Yolo_v4, which greatly improves the detection ability of minor defects. For K_Means algorithm clustering prianchors question with strong subjectivity, the paper proposes the Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm to determine the number of Anchors. To solve the problem of low detection rate of small targets caused by insufficient reuse rate of low-level features in CSPDarknet53 feature extraction network, this paper proposes an ECA-DenseNet-BC-121 feature extraction network to improve it. And the Dual Channel Feature Enhancement (DCFE) module is proposed to improve the local information loss and gradient propagation obstruction caused by quad chain convolution in PANet networks to improve the robustness of the model. The experimental results on the fabric surface defect detection datasets show that the mAP of the improved Yolo_v4 is 98.97%, which is 7.67% higher than SSD, 3.75% higher than Faster_RCNN, 10.82% higher than Yolo_v4 tiny, and 5.35% higher than Yolo_v4, and the detection speed reaches 39.4 fps. Our study in this paper is focused on the split equality fixed-point problem with firmly quasi-non-expansive operators in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. A self-adaptive simultaneous scheme is introduced, and its weak convergence is established under mild and standard assumptions. The new proposed scheme generalizes and extends some related works in the literature, and its simple structure makes it easy for implementation and numerical testing. This problem can be viewed as an algebraic generalization of the maximum weight bipartite matching problem. The main result of this paper is a combinatorial -time algorithm for computing the entire sequence of the maximum degree of minors of a (2 × 2) -type generic partitioned polynomial matrix of size 2 μ × 2 ν . We also present a minimax theorem, which can be used as a good characterization (NP ∩ co-NP characterization) for the computation of the maximum degree of minors of order k. In this study, we extended the applicability of a derivative-free algorithm to encompass the solution of operators that may be either differentiable or non-differentiable. Conditions weaker than the ones in earlier studies are employed for the convergence analysis. The earlier results considered assumptions up to the existence of the ninth order derivative of the main operator, even though there are no derivatives in the algorithm, and the Taylor series on the finite Euclidian space restricts the applicability of the algorithm. Moreover, the previous results could not be used for non-differentiable equations, although the algorithm could converge. The new local result used only conditions on the divided difference in the algorithm to show the convergence. Moreover, the more challenging semi-local convergence that had not previously been studied was considered using majorizing sequences. The paper included results on the upper bounds of the error estimates and domains where there was only one solution for the equation. Product disassembly is an effective means of waste recycling and reutilization that has received much attention recently. In terms of disassembly efficiency, the number of disassembly skills possessed by workers plays a crucial role in improving disassembly efficiency. Therefore, in order to effectively and reasonably disassemble discarded products, this paper proposes a partial parallel disassembly line balancing problem (PP-DLBP) that takes into account the number of worker skills. In this paper, the disassembly tasks and the disassembly relationships between components are described using AND–OR graphs. In this paper, a multi-objective optimization model is established aiming to maximize the net profit of disassembly and minimize the number of skills for the workers. Based on the bat algorithm (BA), we propose an improved discrete bat algorithm (IDBA), which involves designing adaptive composite optimization operators to replace the original continuous formula expressions and applying them to solve the PP-DLBP. To demonstrate the advantages of IDBA, we compares it with NSGA-II, NSGA-III, SPEA-II, ESPEA, and MOEA/D. In view of the problems of high production cost, scarcity and lack of diversity of 3D face datasets, this paper designs an end-to-end self-supervised learning 3D face reconstruction algorithm with a single 2D face image as input, which only uses 2D face datasets to complete model training. First, the improved ResNet module is introduced to preprocess the input face image. The deep residual neural network has strong feature extraction and characterization ability for the image, which can provide rich high-level semantic feature maps for the subsequent subnetwork. In this paper, we are interested in algorithms that take in input an arbitrary graph G , and that enumerate in output all the (inclusion-wise) maximal "subgraphs" of G which fulfil a given property Π. All over this paper, we study several different properties Π , and the notion of subgraph under consideration (induced or not) will vary from a result to another. More precisely, we present efficient algorithms to list all maximal split subgraphs, maximal induced cographs and maximal threshold graphs of a given input graph. All the algorithms presented here run in polynomial delay, and moreover for split graphs it only requires polynomial space. In order to develop an algorithm for maximal split (edge-)subgraphs, we establish a bijection between the maximal split subgraphs and the maximal stable sets of an auxiliary graph. For cographs and threshold graphs, the algorithms rely on a framework recently introduced by Conte & Uno (2019) called Proximity Search. Finally we consider the extension problem, which consists in deciding if there exists a maximal induced subgraph satisfying a property Π that contains a set of prescribed vertices and that avoids another set of vertices. In order to cope with the problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution, carbon emissions need to be reduced and so the structure of the power grid is constantly being optimized. Traditional centralized power networks are not as capable of controlling and distributing non-renewable energy as distributed power grids. Therefore, the optimal dispatch of microgrids faces increasing challenges. This paper proposes a multi-strategy fusion slime mould algorithm (MFSMA) to tackle the microgrid optimal dispatching problem. Traditional swarm intelligence algorithms suffer from slow convergence, low efficiency, and the risk of falling into local optima. The MFSMA employs reverse learning to enlarge the search space and avoid local optima to overcome these challenges. Furthermore, adaptive parameters ensure a thorough search during the algorithm iterations. The focus is on exploring the solution space in the early stages of the algorithm, while convergence is accelerated during the later stages to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The salp swarm algorithm's search mode is also incorporated to expedite convergence. MFSMA and other algorithms are compared on the benchmark functions, and the test showed that the effect of MFSMA is better. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the MFSMA for function optimization, particularly in solving the 24 h microgrid optimal scheduling problem. This problem considers multiple energy sources such as wind turbines, photovoltaics, and energy storage. A microgrid model based on the MFSMA is established in this paper. Simulation of the proposed algorithm reveals its ability to enhance energy utilization efficiency, reduce total network costs, and minimize environmental pollution. However, it can be solved by evolutionary methods. This paper investigates the Constrained Multi-Objective Travelling Salesman Problem (CMOTSP) and the Constrained Multi-Objective Solid Travelling Salesman Problem (CMOSTSP) under an uncertain environment with zigzag uncertain variables. To solve CMOTSP and CMOSTSP models under uncertain environment, the expected value and optimistic value models are developed using two different ranking criteria of uncertainty theory. The models are transformed to their deterministic forms using the fundamentals of uncertainty. The Models are solved using two solution methodologies Aspiration level-based Multi-Objective Quasi Oppositional Jaya Algorithm (AL-based MOQO Jaya) and Fuzzy Programming Technique (FPT) with linear membership function. Further, the numerical illustration is solved using both methodologies to demonstrate its application. The sensitivity of the OVM model's objective functions regarding confidence levels is also investigated to look at the variation in the objective function. Fruit recognition and location are the premises of robot automatic picking. YOLOv3 has been used to detect different fruits in complex environment. However, for the object with definite features, the complex network structure will increase the computing time and may cause overfitting. Therefore, this paper has carried out a lightweight design for the YOLOv3. This paper proposed an improved T-Net to detect tomato images. Firstly, the T-Net reduces the residual network layers. This paper changed the number of cycles in each group of the residual unit to 1, 2, 2, 1, and 1. Second, two feature layers with different scales are selected according to the features of tomatoes. Meanwhile, the convolutional layer at the neck has been reduced by two layers. Finally, the location and approximate diameter of the ripe tomato are obtained by combining the node information of the Intel D435i camera and T-Net in the Robot Operation System. T-Net obtains mean average precision (mAP) of 99.2%, F1-score of 98.9%, precision of 99.0%, and recall of 98.8% at a detection rate of 104.2 FPS. The proposed T-Net has outperformed the YOLOv3 with 0.4%, 0.1%, and 0.2% increase in precision, mAP, and F1-score. The detection speed of T-Net is 1.8 times faster than YOLOv3. The mean errors of the center coordinates and diameter of the tomato are 8.5 mm and 2.5 mm, respectively. This model provides a method for efficient real-time detection and location of tomatoes. An important issue in interconnected microgrids (MGs) is the realization of balance between the generation side and the demand side. Imbalanced generation and load demands lead to security, power quality, and reliability issues. The load frequency control (LFC) is accountable for regulating MG frequency against generation/load disturbances. This paper proposed an optimized fractional order (FO) LFC scheme with cascaded outer and inner control loops. The proposed controller is based on a cascaded one plus tilt derivative (1+TD) in the outer loop and an FO tilt integrator-derivative with a filter (FOTIDF) in the inner loop, forming the cascaded (1+TD/FOTIDF) controller. The proposed 1+TD/FOTIDF achieves better disturbance rejection compared with traditional LFC methods. The proposed 1+TD/FOTIDF scheme is optimally designed using a modified version of the liver cancer optimization algorithm (MLCA). In this paper, a new modified liver cancer optimization algorithm (MLCA) is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the standard Liver cancer optimization algorithm (LCA), which contains the early convergence to local optima and the debility of its exploration process. The proposed MLCA is based on three improvement mechanisms, including chaotic mutation (CM), quasi-oppositional based learning (QOBL), and the fitness distance balance (FDB). The proposed MLCA method simultaneously adjusts and selects the best 1+TD/FOTIDF parameters to achieve the best control performance of MGs. Obtained results are compared to other designed FOTID, TI/FOTID, and TD/FOTID controllers. Moreover, the contribution of electric vehicles and the high penetration of renewables are considered with power system parameter uncertainty to test the stability of the proposed 1+TD/FOTIDF LFC technique. Polar format algorithm (PFA) is a widely used high-resolution SAR imaging algorithm that can be implemented in advanced widefield staring synthetic aperture radar (WFS-SAR). However, existing algorithms have limited analysis in wavefront curvature error (WCE) and are challenging to apply to WFS-SAR with high-resolution and large-swath scenes. This paper proposes an extended polar format algorithm for joint envelope and phase error correction in WFS-SAR imaging with maneuvering trajectory. The impact of the WCE and residual acceleration error (RAE) are analyzed in detail by deriving the specific wavenumber domain signal based on the mapping relationship between the geometry space and wavenumber space. This paper is about the opposite of judgement and calculation. This opposition has been a traditional anchor of critiques concerned with the rise of AI decision making over human judgement. Contrary to these approaches, it is argued that human judgement is not and cannot be replaced by calculation, but that it is human judgement that contextualises computational structures and gives them meaning and purpose. The article focuses on the epistemic structure of algorithms and artificial neural networks to find that they always depend on human judgement to be related to real life objects or purposes. By introducing the philosophical concept of judgement, it becomes clear that the property of judgement to provide meaning and purposiveness is based on the temporality of human life and the ambiguity of language, which quantitative processes lack. A juxtaposition shows that calculations and clustering can be used and referred to in more or less prejudiced and reflecting as well as opaque and transparent ways, but thereby always depend on human judgement. This transparency requires the explicitness of the judgements that constitute these computational structures, thereby creating an awareness of the conditionality of such epistemic entities. The Conjugate Gradient (CG) method is renowned for its rapid convergence in optimization applications. Over the years, several modifications to CG methods have emerged to improve computational efficiency and tackle practical challenges. This paper presents a new three-term hybrid CG method for solving unconstrained optimization problems. This algorithm utilizes a search direction that combines Liu-Storey (LS) and Conjugate Descent (CD) CG coefficients and standardizes it using a spectral which acts as a scheme for the choices of the conjugate parameters. This resultant direction closely approximates the memoryless Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) quasi-Newton direction, known for its bounded nature and compliance with the sufficient descent condition. In this paper, we study the power and limitations of component-stable algorithms in the low-space model of massively parallel computation (MPC). Recently Ghaffari, Kuhn and Uitto (FOCS 2019) introduced the class of component-stable low-space MPC algorithms, which are, informally, those algorithms for which the outputs reported by the nodes in different connected components are required to be independent. This very natural notion was introduced to capture most (if not all) of the known efficient MPC algorithms to date, and it was the first general class of MPC algorithms for which one can show non-trivial conditional lower bounds. In this paper we enhance the framework of component-stable algorithms and investigate its effect on the complexity of randomized and deterministic low-space MPC. Our key contributions include: 1. We revise and formalize the lifting approach of Ghaffari, Kuhn and Uitto. This requires a very delicate amendment of the notion of component stability, which allows us to fill in gaps in the earlier arguments. 2. We also extend the framework to obtain conditional lower bounds for deterministic algorithms and fine-grained lower bounds that depend on the maximum degree Δ . 3. We demonstrate a collection of natural graph problems for which deterministic component-unstable algorithms break the conditional lower bound obtained for component-stable algorithms. This implies that, in the context of deterministic algorithms, component-stable algorithms are conditionally weaker than the component-unstable ones. 4. We also show that the restriction to component-stable algorithms has an impact in the randomized setting. We present a natural problem which can be solved in O(1) rounds by a component-unstable MPC algorithm, but requires Ω (log log ∗ n) rounds for any component-stable algorithm, conditioned on the connectivity conjecture. Altogether our results imply that component-stability might limit the computational power of the low-space MPC model, at least in certain contexts, paving the way for improved upper bounds that escape the conditional lower bound setting of Ghaffari, Kuhn, and Uitto. The scheduling of disassembly lines is of great importance to achieve optimized productivity. In this paper, we address the Hybrid Disassembly Line Balancing Problem that combines linear disassembly lines and U-shaped disassembly lines, considering multi-skilled workers, and targeting profit and carbon emissions. In contrast to common approaches in reinforcement learning that typically employ weighting strategies to solve multi-objective problems, our approach innovatively incorporates non-dominated ranking directly into the reward function. The exploration of Pareto frontier solutions or better solutions is moderated by comparing performance between solutions and dynamically adjusting rewards based on the occurrence of repeated solutions. The experimental results show that the multi-objective Advantage Actor-Critic algorithm based on Pareto optimization exhibits superior performance in terms of metrics superiority in the comparison of six experimental cases of different scales, with an excellent metrics comparison rate of 70%. In some of the experimental cases in this paper, the solutions produced by the multi-objective Advantage Actor-Critic algorithm show some advantages over other popular algorithms such as the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient Algorithm, the Soft Actor-Critic Algorithm, and the Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II. Variable (feature) selection plays an important role in data analysis and mathematical modeling. This paper aims to address the significant lack of formal evaluation benchmarks for feature selection algorithms (FSAs). To evaluate FSAs effectively, controlled environments are required, and the use of synthetic datasets offers significant advantages. We introduce a set of ten synthetically generated datasets with known relevance, redundancy, and irrelevance of features, derived from various mathematical, logical, and geometric sources. Additionally, eight FSAs are evaluated on these datasets based on their relevance and novelty. The paper first introduces the datasets and then provides a comprehensive experimental analysis of the performance of the selected FSAs on these datasets including testing the FSAs' resilience on two types of induced data noise. The analysis has guided the grouping of the generated datasets into four groups of data complexity. Lastly, we provide public access to the generated datasets to facilitate bench-marking of new feature selection algorithms in the field via our Github repository. The purpose of this paper is to study how to analyse a term extraction algorithm based on machine learning and a comprehensive feature strategy. Focusing on the problems of poor generality and single statistical features of current term extraction algorithms, this paper proposes an improved domain ontology term extraction algorithm based on a comprehensive feature strategy. Moreover, automatic term extraction experiments based on a word-based maximum entropy model and a conditional random field model based on machine learning are conducted in this paper. Its word-based conditional random field model outperforms the maximum entropy model. The experimental results show that the algorithm based on the comprehensive feature strategy improves the accuracy by 8.6% compared with the TF-IDF algorithm and the C-value term extraction algorithm. Transverse synchronization of vertical displacements of all jacking-up points is an important monitoring indicator to replace bearings in assembled multigirder bridges during the jacking phase. Currently, using target paper to identify the 3D coordinates of control points reduces the complexity of monitoring operations and improves the stability of data precision. However, the existing planar target locating methods have low accuracy, inefficiency, and subjectivity, which seriously hinders the construction process of bearing replacement. Accurately obtaining the center coordinates of multiple targets from a point cloud in a short monitoring period remains a challenge. This study proposes a high-precision automated algorithm to extract target center points in low-density point clouds to quickly calculate real target center points. First, we construct a standard point cloud model of the target papers for scanning, including color and geometric features. Then, we extract the measured point cloud of the typical jacking operation phase based on the reflection intensity and size information. Next, we map the intensity values of the measured point cloud into the color channel and register the measured point cloud with its standard point cloud model using the normal vector estimation and colored ICP algorithms. Finally, we extract the center point of the measured targets. Numerical experiments and engineering test results show that the proposed method converges quickly with high precision and good robustness, which saves 91.4% of the time compared with the traditional method. Choosing an adequate step length is the main purpose of the classic nonmonotone line search methods for a given DD, while in this paper both a search direction and step length are simultaneously computed. The global convergence of the minimization algorithm is proved by some assumptions on the DD. Finally, the proposed algorithm is implemented in the MATLAB environment and compared with another existing nonsmooth algorithm on some nonconvex nonsmooth optimization test problems. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is shown by numerical results in solving some small-scale and large-scale nonsmooth optimization test problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
