Background: Intravitreal injection of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor is considered the first-line treatment for polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy. It has potential risks for circulatory system, which should be particularly carefully evaluated in older patients. In this case study, we aim to discuss the potential impact of this treatment regimen on cardiac health. Case presentation: This case report describes an elderly patient with no prior history of heart disease who exhibited unexpected heart enlargement and dysfunction. Throughout the patient's hospital stay, various potential causes were investigated, leading to the hypothesis that a 10-year history of intravitreal injections of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor could be related to the observed clinical manifestations. The patient was advised to discontinue this treatment, and after a 2-month follow-up period, there was a gradual improvement in the patient's cardiac structure and function. Conclusion: This manuscript highlights the importance of conducting cardiac examinations before and after anti-vascular endothelial growth factor treatment, especially for individuals at risk of heart diseases like the elderly. Land use changes (LUC) have exacerbated the evolution of ecosystem structure in the urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Delta (YRDUA), significantly affecting ecosystem service functions and values. Although the impact of land use on ecosystem service value (ESV) has received significant attention, most existing studies explore the relationship between LUC and ESV at the national, provincial, or regional scales. Few studies focus on urban agglomerations, particularly in the YRDUA. Additionally, while many studies analyze the driving factors of ecosystem services and the trade-offs and synergies among them, there is a relative scarcity of research on the coupling coordination relationship between LUC and ESV. In this study, we used the ecosystem service assessment model to dynamically analyze the spatio-temporal changes of land use and ESV in the YRDUA from 2000 to 2020 and evaluated the dynamic relationship between the two using the coupled coordination model system. The results show the following: (1) Land use types within the YRDUA underwent significant changes during the study period, with a notable decrease in farmland and a substantial increase in construction land being the dominant trends. (2) ESV showed upward and downward trends over different periods, with water bodies having the highest value, followed by forested land and farmland, respectively. The ESV of water bodies showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. Higher ESVs were mainly concentrated around lakes such as Taihu Lake and coastal areas along the Yangtze River, radiating outward from these central points. (3) Currently, the coupling coordination degree (CCD) between land use intensity and ESV in the YRDUA is mostly reluctant coordinated or in the state of primary coordination. However, with time, the CCD trend has increased. In addition, variations between cities were more pronounced, showing a spatial pattern characterized by higher coupling levels in eastern/northern regions compared to western/southern regions. Our study can provide policy references for improving land planning, optimizing land use structures, and realizing high-quality, sustainable, green, and coordinated development in the YRDUA. Electrooxidation is commonly used in wastewater treatment but faces challenges with recalcitrant pollutants like tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA). Understanding the role of direct electron transfer (DET) and secondary free radicals in forming intermediate products can not only reveal halogenated phenols' electrooxidation mechanism but also aid in electrode design. Coupling triple quadrupole mass spectrometer and quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer, the transformation products (TPs) and their dynamics were investigated during electrooxidation treatments of TBBPA. Furthermore, electrophilic addition and ring-opening mechanisms were simulated by density functional theory (DFT), and toxic changes of TPs were assessed by quantitative structural-activity relationship. The results demonstrate that the steady-state concentration of hydroxyl radicals (•OH) significantly influences the oxidation kinetics before reaching the mass transfer limit. In addition, DET occurs at low potentials (Ep ≈ +0.35 to +0.45 V vs SHE), accompanied with the process of film formation. Six novel intermediates of TBBPA were discovered in electrooxidation process, revealing the ring-opening mechanisms of TBBPA regulated by the steady-state density of hydroxyl radicals. The toxicity of intermediates towards fish and daphnia decreased significantly than that of TBBPA. BACKGROUND: Salted hen egg yolks are less oily and less flavorful than salted duck egg yolks. However, hen eggs have a more adequate market supply and have a broader application prospect than duck eggs. In the present study, egg yolks, plasma, and granules were dehydrated by adding 1% NaCl to simulate traditional curing process of salted egg yolk. The changes in the pickling process of hen egg yolks (HEY) and duck egg yolks (DEY) plasma and granules were compared to reveal the gelation mechanism and the underlying causes of quality differences in salted HEY and DEY. Salted HEY can be compared with the changes in DEY during the pickling process to provide a theoretical basis for the quality improvement of salted HEY to salted DEY. RESULTS: The results showed that both plasma and granules were involved in gel formation, but exhibited different aggregation behaviors. Based on the intermolecular forces, the HEY proteins achieved aggregation mainly through hydrophobic interactions and DEY proteins mainly through covalent binding. According to spin–spin relaxation time, HEY gels immobilized a large amount of lipid and interacted strongly with lipids. DEY gels showed much free lipid and had weak interaction with lipid. The microstructure showed that HEY proteins were easily unfolded to form a homogeneous three‐dimensional gel network structure after salting, whereas heterogeneous aggregates were formed to hinder the gel development in DEY. Changes in protein secondary structure content showed that pickling can promote the transformation of the α‐helices to β‐sheets structure in HEY gels, whereas more α‐helices structure was formed in DEY gels. CONCLUSION: The present study has demonstrated that different gelation behaviors of hen and duck egg yolk proteins (especially in plasma) through salting treatment led to the difference in the quality of salted HEY and DEY. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry. The development of temperature-sensitive sensors upgraded by poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) represents a significant stride in enhancing performance and tailoring thermoresponsiveness. In this study, an array of temperature-responsive electrochemical sensors modified with different PNIPAM-based copolymer films were fabricated via a "coating and grafting" two-step film-forming technique on screen-printed platinum electrodes (SPPEs). Chemical composition, grafting density, equilibrium swelling, surface wettability, surface morphology, amperometric response, cyclic voltammograms, and other properties were evaluated for the modified SPPEs, successively. The modified SPPEs exhibited significant changes in their properties depending on the preparation concentrations, but all the resulting sensors showed excellent stability and repeatability. The modified sensors demonstrated favorable sensitivity to hydrogen peroxide and L-ascorbic acid. Furthermore, notable temperature-induced variations in electrical signals were observed as the electrodes were subjected to temperature fluctuations above and below the lower critical solution temperature (LCST). The ability to reversibly respond to temperature variations, coupled with the tunability of PNIPAM's thermoresponsive properties, opens up new possibilities for the design of sensors that can adapt to changing environments and optimize their performance accordingly. Internode length is a crucial phenotypic trait of bamboo, significantly impacting its processing and utilization. Phyllostachys edulis 'Tubaeformis' (Shengyin Bamboo), a variety of Moso bamboo, exhibits drastically shortened internodes, making it a valuable ornamental bamboo species. We used PacBio single-molecule long-read sequencing and second-generation sequencing to identify genome-wide alternative splicing (AS) events in Moso bamboo and its dwarf mutant, Shengyin bamboo, and compared the differences between the two. Our sequencing data unveiled 139,539 AS events, with retained introns as the most prevalent events. A large number of genes were differentially alternatively spliced (DAS) between Moso bamboo and Shengyin bamboo, and genes related to RNA splicing were most significantly enriched. The high expression of SR isoforms in the 24th internode of Moso bamboo is likely the main factor leading to its greater number of alternative splicing events. Alternative splicing affects the functional domains of partial GRF, E2F, and NAM isoforms, leading to the loss of domains in some isoforms and enabling some isoforms to acquire new functional domains, and this phenomenon is more common in Shengyin bamboo. AS modifies the functional domains of certain GRF isoforms, frequently resulting in domain losses or endowing isoforms with novel domains, and this phenomenon is more common in Shengyin bamboo. Simple Summary: The casuarina moth, Lymantria xylina Swinhoe (Lepidoptera: Erebidae), may become a major invasive pest similar to Lymantria dispar Linnaeus (Lepidoptera: Erebidae), and the risk of its spread has attracted worldwide attention. Male L. xylina moths have strong flight ability, while female moths have weaker flight ability. Female moths frequently rest on branches and can sometimes fly short distances. Additionally, females may be attracted by the lights of ships and land on the hull or cargo to lay eggs. Prior to this study, little was known about the flight ability of L. xylina, due to the absence of related research. Consequently, our investigation focused on assessing the potential flight ability of L. xylina adults using a flight mill. We conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the flight ability of L. xylina moths in terms of age, sex, flight duration, mating, oviposition, wing morphology, and under different temperatures. The goal was to provide a theoretical framework for understanding the flight characteristics and dispersal potential of L. xylina, as well as to assess the risk of dispersal through ocean-going freighters. Lymantria xylina Swinhoe (Lepidoptera: Erebidae) is a potentially invasive pest, similar to Lymantria dispar asiatica Vnukovskij and Lymantria dispar japonica Motschulsky (Lepidoptera: Erebidae). To evaluate its potential for spread and flight distance related to egg deposition on vessels at ports, we employed a flight mill to assess the flight capabilities of its adults under varying conditions. Our findings revealed that females primarily flew short distances and ceased flying after 3:00 AM, whereas males covered much longer distances throughout the day. Sex, age, and flight duration significantly influenced flight ability. Females exhibited weaker flight capability than males, and their ability declined with increasing age or flight duration. Notably, 1-day-old moths displayed the strongest flight ability, with average flight distances of up to 3.975 km for females and 8.441 km for males. By the fifth day, females no longer flew, and males experienced reduced flight ability. After continuous hanging for 16 h, females lost most of their flight capacity, while males remained capable of flight even after 32 h. Additionally, female flight ability decreased significantly after mating, possibly due to factors such as egg-carrying capacity, weight, and load ratio. This study provides a foundation for assessing the risk of long-distance dispersal of L. xylina via ocean-going freighters, considering female moths' phototactic flight and oviposition. The cycling stability of O3‐type NaNi1/3Fe1/3Mn1/3O2 (NFM) as a commercial cathode material for sodium ion batteries (SIBs) is still a challenge. In this study, the Ni/Fe/Mn elements are replaced successfully with tantalum (Ta) in the NFM lattice, which generated additional delocalized electrons and enhanced the binding ability between the transition metal and oxygen, resulting in suppressed lattice distortion during charging and discharging. This caused significant mitigation of voltage decay and improved cycle stability within the potential range of 2.0–4.2 V. The optimized Na(Ni1/3Fe1/3Mn1/3)0.97Ta0.03O2 sample achieved a reversible capacity of 162.6 mAh g−1 at a current rate of 0.1 C and 73.2 mAh g−1 at a high rate of 10 C. Additionally, the average charge/discharge potential retention reached 98% after 100 cycles, significantly mitigating the voltage decay. Background: RNA m5C methylation has been extensively implicated in the occurrence and development of tumors. As the main methyltransferase, NSUN2 plays a crucial regulatory role across diverse tumor types. However, the precise impact of NSUN2-mediated m5C modification on breast cancer (BC) remains unclear. Our study aims to elucidate the molecular mechanism underlying how NSUN2 regulates the target gene HGH1 (also known as FAM203) through m5C modification, thereby promoting BC progression. Additionally, this study targets at preliminarily clarifying the biological roles of NSUN2 and HGH1 in BC. Methods: Tumor and adjacent tissues from 5 BC patients were collected, and the m5C modification target HGH1 in BC was screened through RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) and single-base resolution m5C methylation sequencing (RNA-BisSeq). Methylation RNA immunoprecipitation-qPCR (MeRIP-qPCR) and RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation-qPCR (RIP-qPCR) confirmed that the methylation molecules NSUN2 and YBX1 specifically recognized and bound to HGH1 through m5C modification. In addition, proteomics, co-immunoprecipitation (co-IP), and Ribosome sequencing (Ribo-Seq) were used to explore the biological role of HGH1 in BC. Results: As the main m5C methylation molecule, NSUN2 is abnormally overexpressed in BC and increases the overall level of RNA m5C. Knocking down NSUN2 can inhibit BC progression in vitro or in vivo. Combined RNA-seq and RNA-BisSeq analysis identified HGH1 as a potential target of abnormal m5C modifications. We clarified the mechanism by which NSUN2 regulates HGH1 expression through m5C modification, a process that involves interactions with the YBX1 protein, which collectively impacts mRNA stability and protein synthesis. Furthermore, this study is the first to reveal the binding interaction between HGH1 and the translation elongation factor EEF2, providing a comprehensive understanding of its ability to regulate transcript translation efficiency and protein synthesis in BC cells. Conclusions: This study preliminarily clarifies the regulatory role of the NSUN2-YBX1-m5C-HGH1 axis from post-transcriptional modification to protein translation, revealing the key role of abnormal RNA m5C modification in BC and suggesting that HGH1 may be a new epigenetic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for BC. Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is the cerebrovascular disease with the highest disability and mortality rates, causing severe damage to the health of patients and imposing a significant socioeconomic burden. Aging stands as a foremost risk factor for ICH, with a significant escalation in ICH incidence within the elderly demographic, highlighting a close association between ICH and aging. In recent years, with the acceleration of the "aging society" trend, exploring the intricate relationship between aging and ICH has become increasingly urgent and worthy of in-depth attention. We have summarized the characteristics of ICH in the elderly, reviewing how aging influences the onset and development of ICH by examining its etiology and the mechanisms of damage via ICH. Additionally, we explored the potential impacts of ICH on accelerated aging, including its effects on cognitive abilities, quality of life, and lifespan. Context Iron is an essential element in the human body and plays a critical role in many physiological and cellular processes. However, the association between iron status and the risk of all-cause or cause-specific mortality has not been well-investigated. And it is unclear whether the association between iron metabolic biomarkers and the risk of mortality differs between people with and without diabetes mellitus (DM). Objective This work aimed to investigate associations between iron metabolic biomarkers and all-cause and cause-specific mortality risk in the general population, and heterogeneities in the associations among population with and without DM.. Methods A total of 29 166 adults from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) III and NHANES 1999 to 2010 were included, with linkage to the National Death Index to December 31, 2019. Cox proportional-hazard models and Fine-Gray subdistribution hazard models were used to estimate associations between iron metabolic biomarkers and outcomes. Results During a median follow-up of 18.83 years, 9378 deaths were observed, including 3420 cardiovascular disease (CVD) deaths and 1969 cancer deaths. A significant linear association between serum ferritin (SF) and all-cause mortality was observed among the overall population and those without DM. J-shaped associations between transferrin saturation (TSAT) and all-cause and CVD mortality were observed among all populations. In the overall population, compared to the first quartile (Q1) group, the adjusted hazard ratio (HR) (95% CI) for all-cause mortality was 1.07 (1.00-1.15), 1.05 (0.98-1.12), 1.13 (1.05-1.21) in Q2, Q3, and Q4 groups for SF, while the HR was 0.94 (0.88-0.99), 0.92 (0.86-0.97), and 0.93 (0.88-0.99) for TSAT. In individuals without DM, the adjusted HR of the Q4 of SF were 1.19 (1.03-1.37) for CVD mortality and 1.25 (1.05-1.48) for cancer mortality. In individuals with DM, the adjusted HRs of the Q4 of TSAT were 0.76 (0.62-0.93) for CVD mortality and 1.47 (1.07-2.03) for cancer mortality. Conclusion Iron metabolism abnormalities increase mortality risk in the general population. The associations of iron status with mortality were significantly different between individuals with and without DM, which indicated tailored strategies for iron homeostasis are needed. The development of multi-functional preservatives is a promising solution to food waste caused by microbial spoilage. Therefore, in the present study, lysozyme - (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (Ly-EGCG) covalent conjugates were prepared by a free radical grafting approach. The effects of EGCG concentration on the physicochemical, structural, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties of Ly-EGCG conjugates were investigated. The covalent coupling of Ly with EGCG was confirmed by the generation of new bands in sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) profiles, the decrease in fluorescence intensity (> 85%) shown by multispectral techniques, and the shift of the amide I band in the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra. Compared to Ly, after adding 0.7 mM EGCG, the thermal denaturation temperature of the Ly-EGCG conjugates was decreased to 68.84 °C, whereas the DPPH scavenging capacity (88.84 ± 0.42%) and total antioxidant capacity (0.94 ± 0.06 U/mL) were remarkably enhanced. The inhibitory effect of Ly-EGCG conjugates on E. coli and S. aureus could be effectively regulated by modifying the EGCG concentration. Furthermore, Pearson correlation analysis revealed a correlation between the structural and functional properties of Ly-EGCG conjugates. The antiviral drug ribavirin is widely used and continuously released into the environment through various pathways, which will cause serious water pollution and virus resistance. However, only few works have examined ribavirin retention and transport groundwater environment. This study investigates the transport behavior of ribavirin in saturated quartz sand and limestone porous media, considering ionic strength (IS), ionic type and humic acid (HA), through column experiments and mathematical modeling. The findings reveal that, ribavirin exhibits strong mobility within saturated quartz sand media is less affected by different hydrochemical factors, posing a high risk of migration. In limestone porous media, the migration of ribavirin decreased. In comparison to Na+, the presence of Ca2+ causes the effluent recovery rate of ribavirin decreases. And as the IS of Ca2+ background solution increases, the effluent recovery rate of ribavirin also decreases. The presence of HA causes more ribavirin to flow out of the column, and its effect becomes more pronounced with increasing concentration. Furthermore, simulated precipitation scenarios, the ribavirin adsorbed on the of media surface is released again and transport with the water flow. Early/late heterobimetallic complexes are widely recognized as one of the most effective catalysts for activating coupling reactions. Herein, DFT calculations were used to investigate the specific mechanisms of terminal alkyne dimerization facilitated by two types of Zr/Co complexes: the bis (phosphinoamide) complex B and the mono (phosphinoamide) complex C. In addition, their reaction activities were compared with that of three ligand‐bridged Zr/Co complex A. The results show that the activated mechanisms of the three reactions are similar, all of them contain inner‐ and outer‐sphere mechanisms, and the inner one is the optimal process. Compared to A, the terminal alkyne dimerizations activated by B and C have the lower energy barriers and better selectivity for the E‐isomer; thus, the mono‐ and bis‐(phosphinoamide) Zr/Co complexes are expected to show better activity and selectivity than tris (phosphinoamide) complexes. The stereoselectivity of E‐, Z‐, and gem‐isomers is controlled by the reductive elimination process. The IRI analysis reveals that the selectivity for E‐ and Z‐isomers is influenced due to the notable repulsion and vdW interaction between the second alkyne and the MeNPMe2 ligand. Background: The total-body positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) system, with a long axial field of view, represents the state-of-the-art PET imaging technique. Recently, the total-body PET/CT system has been commercially available. The total-body PET/CT system enables high-resolution whole-body imaging, even under extreme conditions such as ultra-low dose, extremely fast imaging speed, delayed imaging more than 10 h after tracer injection, and total-body dynamic scan. The total-body PET/CT system provides a real-time picture of the tracers of all organs across the body, which not only helps to explain normal human physiological process, but also facilitates the comprehensive assessment of systemic diseases. In addition, the total-body PET/CT system may play critical roles in other medical fields, including cancer imaging, drug development and immunology. Main body: Therefore, it is of significance to summarize the existing studies of the total-body PET/CT systems and point out its future direction. This review collected research literatures from the PubMed database since the advent of commercially available total-body PET/CT systems to the present, and was divided into the following sections: Firstly, a brief introduction to the total-body PET/CT system was presented, followed by a summary of the literature on the performance evaluation of the total-body PET/CT. Then, the research and clinical applications of the total-body PET/CT were discussed. Fourthly, deep learning studies based on total-body PET imaging was reviewed. At last, the shortcomings of existing research and future directions for the total-body PET/CT were discussed. The problem of event‐triggered control (ETC) of stochastic nonlinear delayed systems with state quantization is investigated. In order to reduce the communication burden and computational cost, an ETC mechanism and state quantization are introduced in the control scheme. Two configurations are considered to investigate their interaction: quantization before event‐trigger (QE) and quantization after event‐trigger (EQ), respectively. Based on this, a static event‐triggered mechanism (ETM) is designed while avoiding the Zeno phenomenon. The system allows known input‐to‐state stability (ISS) control law, followed by utilizing the Halanay inequality to achieve stabilization. In both configurations, the stabilization of the closed‐loop system is guaranteed. We show that communication times can be reduced by adjusting parameters and selecting the suitable configuration. Moreover, to further enhance resource conservation, we illustrate the feasibility of dynamic ETMs in this framework. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the association between a history of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) and adverse outcomes in women with spontaneous conception. Methods: A search strategy from the inception to March 3, 2023 was run in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases. The odds ratio (OR), and the 95% confidence interval (CI) or point estimation were used as the evaluation indexes. Each outcome measure tested was assessed for heterogeneity using the Cochran Q test. Sensitivity analyses were performed to test the credibility of the meta‐analysis results. Results: Fifteen studies involving 1 475 389 pregnant women were included. A history of RSA was associated with gestational diabetes (OR: 2.21, 95% CI: 1.70–2.87, p < 0.001), preeclampsia (OR: 2.06, 95% CI: 1.49–2.86, p < 0.001), placenta previa (OR: 1.82, 95% CI: 1.09–3.02, p = 0.021), placental abruption (OR: 1.67, 95% CI: 1.36–2.06, p < 0.001), miscarriage (OR: 6.37, 95% CI: 3.83–10.57, p < 0.001), preterm birth (OR: 1.80, 95% CI: 1.36–2.37, p < 0.001), cesarean section (OR: 1.47, 95% CI: (1.13–1.91, p = 0.004), perinatal death (OR: 2.24, 95% CI: 1.39–3.60, p = 0.001), and neonatal intensive care unit admission (OR: 1.39, 95% CI: 1.01–1.92, p = 0.047). However, the associations of a history of RSA with gestational hypertension, small for gestational age, fetal anomalies, fetal growth restriction, and postpartum hemorrhage were not observed. With the development of industrial activities and the agricultural and mining industries, farmland soils are facing serious problems related to heavy metal contamination, especially cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) contamination. In this study, two industrial by-products, phosphogypsum (PG) and red mud (RM), were modified by lanthanum (La) impregnation to form a new composite (L-PR) to investigate the adsorption performance of Cd(II)/As(V) in both single and binary systems. The adsorption mechanisms of Cd(II)/As(V) on L-PR were analyzed using SEM, XRD, FTIR, and XPS. The passivation effect of L-PR on the Cd-As composite contaminated soil was confirmed through a soil cultivation experiment. The adsorption experiments revealed that L-PR showed superior adsorption capabilities for Cd(II) and As(V) compared to PG and RM. Additionally, L-PR was found to be less affected by changes in pH. The kinetic studies indicated that Cd(II) and As(V) adsorption by L-PR followed the second-order kinetic model most accurately. Isothermal adsorption experiments revealed that the adsorption of Cd(II) by L-PR was more in accordance with the Freundlich model, while As(V) was more in accordance with the Langmuir model. The mechanisms of Cd(II) and As(V) adsorption on L-PR involved electrostatic attraction, ion exchange, complexation, and precipitation. The adsorption of Cd(II) is dominated by complexation and precipitation, and the adsorption of As(V) is dominated by ion exchange and complexation. Soil cultivation experiments showed that L-PR significantly reduced the available Cd and As concentrations in soil by 86.01% and 27.80%, respectively, and it could induce the transformation of non-stable Cd(II)/As(V) to the more stable residual. In summary, L-PR exhibits facile preparation, excellent adsorption performance, and is capable of simultaneously removing Cd(II) and As(V) from aqueous solutions while immobilizing these contaminants in soil. Background: Given the limited success rate and considerable challenges associated with conventional ultrasonography (US) guidance for percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) in non-hydronephrotic kidneys, this study proposed a solution with ultrasound contrast agent to enhance the success rate and mitigate the difficulties. Materials and Methods: From January 2017 to August 2023, a total of thirteen patients diagnosed with non-hydronephrotic kidney were included in the study. Following routine ultrasonography examination, no significant dilatation of the renal collecting system was observed. US-guided percutaneous nephrostomy PCN was performed with the assistance of ultrasound contrast agent (UCA). The patients were subsequently monitored to assess the improvement of symptoms and postoperative recovery. Results: The success rate was found to be 100% for all patients (13/13) and kidneys (20/20). The average volume of UCA solution used was 19 ± 6.7 mL (range, 11–35 mL), while the mean duration of the operation was 18.92 ± 8.96 min (range, 7–36 min). A majority of the patients (12/13) underwent a single puncture procedure. Throughout the follow-up period, no serious complications were observed, and surgery resulted in significant alleviation of symptoms in all patients. Conclusion: The use of UCA-assisted US guidance PCN has been shown to be effective in achieving urinary diversion and alleviating associated clinical symptoms in non-hydronephrotic kidneys. In comparison to traditional methods, this approach demonstrates a high success rate and safety profile, while also offering a simplified operative procedure. Doping Co atoms into Ru lattices can tune the electronic structure of active sites, and the conductive MXene can adjust the electrical conductivity of catalysts, which are both favorable for improving the electrocatalytic activity of the catalyst for water splitting. Here, ruthenium‐cobalt bimetallic nanoalloys coupled with exfoliated Ti3C2Tx MXene (RuCo−Ti3C2Tx) have been constructed by ice‐templated and thermal activation. Due to the strong interaction between the RuCo nanoalloys and conductive MXene, RuCo−Ti3C2Tx not only exhibits an excellent hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance with a low overpotential and Tafel slope (60 mV, 34.8 mV dec−1 in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 52 mV, 38.7 mV dec−1 in 1 M KOH), but also good oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance in an alkaline electrolyte (266 mV, 111.1 mV dec−1 in 1 M KOH). The assembled RuCo−Ti3C2Tx||RuCo−Ti3C2Tx electrolyzer requires a lower potential (1.56 V) than does the Pt/C||RuO2 electrolyzer at 10 mA cm−2. A boosted catalytic HER activity from immobilizing the RuCo nanoalloys on MXene was unveiled by density functional theory calculations. Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is a malignant tumor with a high probability of metastasis. The tumor microenvironment (TME) plays a critical role in cancer metastasis. To gain insights into the TME of LSCC, we conducted single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) on samples collected from LSCC patients with or without lymphatic metastasis. The stem and immune cell signatures in LSCC suggest their roles in tumor invasion and metastasis. Infiltration of a large number of regulatory T cells, dysplastic plasma cells, and macrophages that are at the early development stage in the cancerous tissue indicates an immunosuppressive state. Abundant neutrophils detected at the cancer margins reflect the inflammatory microenvironment. In addition to dynamic ligand-receptor interactions between the stromal and myeloid cells, the enhanced autophagy in endothelial cells and fibroblasts implies a role in nutrient supply. Taken together, the comprehensive atlas of LSCC obtained allowed us to identify a complex yet unique TME of LSCC, which may help identify potential diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for LSCC. A three‐component 1,4‐addition variant of the Ugi reaction involving carboxylic acids, isocyanides, and cyclic α,β‐unsaturated imines is presented in this study. The cyclic α,β‐unsaturated imines were conveniently prepared through the oxidative dearomatization of N‐substituted anilines. The high entropy alloy coating is considered as one of the most promising methods to improve the high-temperature oxidation resistance of titanium aluminum alloys due to its fine mechanical property and thermal stability. However, the high entropy alloy coating prepared so far has poor coating quality, and low coating forming efficiency and there are certain requirements for the substrate alloys. To this end, a NiCoCrAl high entropy alloy coating was developed using the double glow plasma alloying technique on the TiAl alloy. The morphology, phase structure, and high temperature oxidation resistance of the coating were comprehensively studied. The results indicate that a uniform and dense coating with a single solid solution of face-centered cube phase formed on the alloy surface. Furthermore, isothermal oxidation test was performed, and the oxidation failure process of the TiAl substrate and the NiCoCrAl-coated sample with different oxidation times was analyzed. Methyltransferase-like 21C (METTL21C) is a member of the non-histone methyltransferase superfamily, which mainly mediates the methylation of lysine (Lys) residues. The main types of modification are Lys dimethylation and trimethylation. However, at present, most of the studies on METTL21C are focused on humans and mice, and there are few reports on poultry. Therefore, chicken embryo fibroblasts (DF-1) were selected as the object of study. To explore the function of chicken METTL21C (chMETTL21C) in the proliferation of DF-1 cells, flow cytometry and qPCR were used to detect the function of chicken METTL21C in the proliferation of DF-1 cells. The results showed that overexpression of METTL21C blocked the cell cycle in the G1max S phase, thus inhibiting cell proliferation. In addition, based on proteomic analysis, stable overexpression of METTL21C may inhibit the proliferation of DF-1 cells by mediating lysine trimethylation of proliferation-related proteins phosphorylated adapter RNA export protein (PHAX), nucleoside diphosphate kinases (NDPKs), eukaryotic transcription extension factor (eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1A,e EF1A), and inversin (Invs). Through immunoprecipitation (co-IP) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis, METTL21C-mediated PHAX Lys-381 methylation was confirmed to be involved in the regulation of DF-1 cell proliferation. Brain tumor accounts for about 1.6% of incidence and 2.5% of mortality of all tumors, and the median survival for brain tumor patients is only about 20 months. The treatment for brain tumor still faces many challenges, such as the blood-brain barrier (BBB), blood-brain tumor barrier (BBTB), the overexpressed efflux pumps, the infiltration, invasion, high heterogeneity of tumor cells, drug resistance and immune escape caused by tumor microenvironment (TME) and cancer stem cells (CSC). This review attempts to clarify the challenges for multi-functional nano drug delivery systems (NDDS) to cross the BBB and target the cancer cells or organelles, and also provides a brief description of the different types of targeted multi-functional NDDS that have shown potential for success in delivering drugs to the brain. Further, this review also summarizes the research progress of multi-functional NDDS in the combination therapy of brain tumors from the following sections, the combination of chemotherapy drugs, chemotherapy-chemodynamic combination therapy, chemotherapy-immunization combination therapy, and chemotherapy-gene combination therapy. The genus Gymnodinium contains more than 230 extant species, approximately 30% of which have not been reported since their original description. Approximately eight Gymnodinium species have been reported or described in the coastal waters of China. This work reports the presence of Gymnodinium trapeziforme from Jiaozhou Bay, China, in 2020, and its morphological and phylogenetic characterization by using light and scanning electron microscopy and systematic analysis based on partial LSU rDNA sequences. We observed the typical diagnostic features of G. trapeziforme, including a small size, biconical to ovoid shape, and a sulcal extension intruded to the epicone and connected to the horseshoe-shaped apical structure complex (ASC). Additionally, we firstly observed that the ASC consisted of three parallel series of vesicles, with the central one possessing knobs, and having more than 10 amphiesmal vesicles within the ASC. The nucleus was cucurbit-shaped, and the amphiesmal vesicles covering the cell surface, which would be peeled off for the cells in stress. While our molecular phylogeny inferred with the maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian inference (BI) confirmed the conspecificity of our isolate with the holotype G. trapeziforme (accession No. EF192414), we found a difference of 14 bases in the D1–D6 domains of the LSU rDNA sequences between the two entities, which indicates a detectable speciation of the two populations. Our work provides a detailed morphological and molecular characterization of G. trapeziforme that was isolated from the coastal water of China, which also broadens the geographical distribution of this species. Simple Summary: During the pupal stage, the midgut of Bombyx mori undergoes remarkable changes, condensing into the midgut lumen and, subsequently, undergoing decomposition. To comprehensively analyze this process of change, we utilized mass spectrometry to examine the midgut contents in the early and later stages of pupation. We detected a large number of enzymes involved in metabolism, proteases, inhibitors, chitin-binding proteins, chitinases, and storage proteins in the midgut contents during the pupal stage, indicating significant alterations within the pupal midgut lumen. Additionally, we have identified six proteases with potential gelatinolytic activity, which may be involved in the degradation of the midgut contents during the late stages of pupation. This research provides valuable insights into the mechanisms of tissue digestion and midgut remodeling in Bombyx mori pupae. The results serve as an important reference for comprehending the intricate processes taking place during this developmental stage in lepidopteran insects. The silkworm Bombyx mori, a lepidopteran insect, possesses an 8–10-day pupal stage, during which significant changes occur in the midgut, where it first condenses into the yellow body, and then undergoes decomposition. To gain insights into this transformation process, proteomics was performed on Bombyx mori midgut contents on day 2 and day 7 after pupation. The results revealed the identification of 771 proteins with more than one unique peptide. An analysis using AgriGO demonstrated that these proteins were predominantly associated with catalytic activity. Among the identified proteins, a considerable number were found to be involved in carbohydrate metabolism, amino acid metabolism, lipid metabolism, nucleic acid degradation, and energy support. Additionally, variations in the levels of certain proteases were observed between the midgut contents on day 2 and day 7 after pupation. An in-depth analysis of the two-dimensional electrophoresis of the midgut contents on day 7 after pupation led to the identification of twelve protein spots with potential gelatinolytic activity. Among these, six proteases were identified through mass spectrometry, including the p37k protease, vitellin-degrading protease, chymotrypsin-2, etc. These proteases may be responsible for the digestion of the yellow body during the later stages of pupal development. Semantic segmentation plays a vital role in the intelligent comprehension of remote sensing images (RSIs). However, research on semantic segmentation of RSIs still faces the following challenges: 1) The complexity of ground object structures, including variations in scale and shading environments, poses difficulties for current methods in capturing global context. 2) In long-tail distributed remote sensing data, the scarcity of tail classes makes it difficult for their features to be effectively learned, as features of head classes often overshadow them. To address these issues, we propose a contextual self-rasterization learning network (CSRL-Net) for the semantic segmentation of RSIs. Our approach comprises the following two key components. Firstly, a grid context perception mechanism is developed to collaboratively establish context dependencies within and among multi-scale grids, capturing long-range spatial correlations. Secondly, a joint weight loss function is designed to convert the prior knowledge into weight factors. This loss function combines re-weighting and logit adjustment, giving more attention to tail classes and integrally balancing learning bias. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method, we apply it to the Potsdam, Vaihingen, and GID datasets and compare its performance with current advanced models. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves excellent performance in terms of MIoU, mean F1 and OA, with improvements ranging from 0.364% to 1.764% compared to the 17 comparison models. Notably, the proposed joint weight loss significantly improves IoU and F1 for tail classes, resulting in increases of 2.909% (IoU) and 2.085% (F1) on the Vaihingen dataset and 4.697% (IoU) and 4.043% (F1) on the GID dataset. This article analyzes the appropriate types of water rights systems for different regions with varying water resource conditions in China. The most appropriate water rights systems for various zones were determined by comparing the value of influencing factors with corresponding thresholds in China's second-class zones of water resources. It is shown that a riparian rights system under water withdrawals permission could be adopted in most regions of southern China. For most northern Chinese regions, the quantity proportional water rights systems should be adopted and further improved. In contrast to the implementation of a single quantity proportional water rights system, this paper innovatively proposes a zoning scheme for China's water rights system. The appropriate type of water rights system can be identified according to the region's specific water resource conditions. Introduction: Areca nut is an economic crop and an important component in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and ethnomedicine. The crop is rich in alkaloids and flavonoids. Most previous studies have focused on the chemical components, especially alkaloids, in crops from certain areca nut‐producing areas. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in areca nut seeds in two main cultivation areas, identify differential metabolites, and evaluate seed quality in different production areas. Methods: A widely targeted metabolomics method based on ultrahigh‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (UHPLC‐QQQ‐MS), combined with the TCM systems pharmacology (TCMSP) database and multivariate statistical analysis, was used in this study to maximise the differentiation between quality characteristics of areca nut seeds from China and Southeast Asian regions. Results: Altogether, 1031 metabolites were identified in areca nut seeds; by querying the TCMSP database, 375 metabolites were identified as the main active ingredients. Moreover, the research showed that the metabolic profiles of areca nut seeds from China (ASCN) and Southeast Asia (ASSA) exhibit significant differences, and the difference is mainly reflected in 318 compounds. The relative content of 146 metabolites in ASCN was significantly higher than that in ASSA. Through Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) comparative analysis, areca nut seed metabolites in Chinese production areas were determined to have a wider metabolic pathway. Conclusion: The areca nut seeds from cultivation areas possess many metabolites that are beneficial for health, including alkaloids, amino acids, phenolic acids, and lipids. Thus, compared with ASSA, ASCN have a higher medicinal value. This study provides a direction for the subsequent development and utilisation of areca nut seeds. A total of 1031 metabolites were identified in areca nut seeds from Chinese and Southeast Asian production areas, and 375 metabolites are the main active ingredients. Areca nut seeds from Chinese and Southeast Asian production areas have different metabolic profiles. The relative content of 146 metabolites in the differential metabolites in China was significantly higher than that in Southeast Asia. Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are crucial regulators in coping with abiotic and biotic stresses, including drought, salinity, fungi, and pathogens. However, little is known about the characteristics, evolution process, and functional divergence of the MAPK gene family in Rosaceae plants. A total of 97 MAPK members were identified in six Rosaceae species, including 12 genes in Fragaria vesca, 22 genes in Malus domestica, 23 genes in Pyrus bretschneideri, 12 genes in Prunus mume, 14 genes in Prunus persica, and 14 genes in Rosa chinensis. All MAPK members of six Rosaceae plants were categorized into four clusters by the phylogenetic relationship analysis. Collinearity analysis discovered that both segmental duplication and tandem duplication contributed to the expansion of MAPK family genes in Rosaceae plants. And the analysis of motifs and gene structures indicated that the evolution of the MAPK gene family was highly conserved among phylogenetic clusters in Rosaceae species. In addition, the dN/dS rates of MAPK paralogous gene pairs were below one, suggesting the MAPK gene family in Rosaceae was driven by purifying selective pressure. Furthermore, functional divergence analysis discovered that 14 amino acid residues were detected as potentially key sites for functional divergence of MAPK family genes between different cluster pairs, specifically Type I functional divergence. The analysis of functional distance indicated that cluster C retained more of the original functional features, while cluster B exhibited functional specialization. Moreover, the expression profiles revealed that PmMAPK8, PmMAPK9, and PmMAPK10 were both highly expressed under drought stress and low temperature conditions. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the evolutionary process and functional analyses of the MAPK gene family in Rosaceae plants, which will lay the foundation for future studies into MAPK genes of Rosaceae in response to drought and cold stress. Soil aggregate is important to soil quality. Straw return is beneficial for soil amendment, but the effects of straw and straw-derived biochar on aggregate formation and stability in paddy soil are unclear. This study carried out a field experiment for 2 years in Northeast China with four treatments: conventional fertilization (CF), straw (ST, 7.5 t ha−1 year−1), biochar (BC, 2.5 t ha−1 year−1), and biochar-based fertilizer (BCF, 0.75 t ha−1 year−1). Compared with the CF and BCF, BC and ST improved the macroaggregates and significantly increased soil total carbon and aggregate organic carbon, indicating a sustained positive role in promoting the formation and stability of aggregates. BC significantly improved aggregate stability. Correlation analysis showed that macroaggregates (2–0.25 mm) can be increased by increasing the heavy fraction organic carbon (HFOC), BC and ST significantly increased the HFOC, and BC had a greater effect. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the combination of biochar and soil particles can be captured with strong water scouring. BCF showed an increasing trend in the formation and stability of soil aggregates. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), the third gasotransmitter, plays a critical role in protecting against heart failure. Sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) is a highly conserved histone deacetylase that has a protective role in the treatment of heart failure by regulating the deacetylation of some functional proteins. This study investigates the interaction between SIRT1 and H2S in heart failure and the underlying mechanisms. Using endogenous H2S-generating enzyme cystathionine γ-lyase (CSE) knockout mice, we found that CSE deficiency aggravated isoprenaline-induced cardiac injury. Treatment with H2S attenuated atrial natriuretic peptide level, brain natriuretic peptide level, improved cardiac function. Moreover, H2S treatment potentiated myocardial SIRT1 expression. Silencing CSE abolished intracellular SIRT1 expression. Furthermore, CSE/ H2S S-sulfhydrated SIRT1 at its zinc finger domains and augmented its zinc ion binding activity to stabilize the alpha-helix structure. In this study, we focus on exploring the propagation characteristics of particle swarms in social networks and analyze the diffusion process of viruses among populations based on system dynamics. The article mainly discusses three propagation influence mechanisms, including individual attributes, group attributes, and particle swarm attributes, and delves into the modeling of diffusion processes based on network structures. Firstly, we adopt the main roads in the transportation network (hub nodes) as the initial network backbone. On this basis, by introducing branch networks with small-world characteristics and scale-free characteristics, we construct a transportation network that integrates multiple properties. Using this network, we conducted a detailed simulation and analysis of the COVID-19 transmission process and compared and verified it with the infection dynamic data of COVID-19 in Shanghai from March to September 2022. The verification results reveal that our proposed model can significantly improve prediction accuracy. Compared with other existing dynamic models, our model demonstrates excellent performance, possessing high practical application value. Pathological cardiac hypertrophy (referred to as cardiac hypertrophy) is a maladaptive response of the heart to a variety of pathological stimuli, and cardiac hypertrophy is an independent risk factor for heart failure and sudden death. Currently, the treatments for cardiac hypertrophy are limited to improving symptoms and have little effect. Elucidation of the developmental process of cardiac hypertrophy at the molecular level and the identification of new targets for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy are crucial. In this review, we summarize the research on multiple active substances related to the pathogenesis of cardiac hypertrophy and the signaling pathways involved and focus on the role of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) and bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling in the development of cardiac hypertrophy and the identification of potential targets for molecular intervention. This paper addresses a new asynchronous control scheme for continuous‐time Markov jump linear systems (MJLSs). Both controlled system and quantizer are asynchronous with the controller due to the process by which the controller can accurately observe and emit the switching signal being stochastic. The random variable satisfying Bernoulli distribution is introduced to describe this observation. On this basis, two methods are proposed to obtain sufficient conditions for exponential almost sure stability and almost surely asymptotically stability, respectively from the perspective of the linear matrix inequality (LMI). In this paper, the issues regarding the input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral input-to-state stability (iISS) of the stochastic delayed switching systems with Lévy noise and input control (SDSS-LN-IC) are proposed by employing the comparison theorem approach, mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT) method, delay integral inequality (DII), and Lyapunov-Razumikhin (L-R) technique. Two switching situations, namely, synchronous switching and asynchronous switching, are considered. Applying integral inequalities, sufficient stability conditions in both cases are given. Moreover, the sequences of this paper allow for the coefficients for the upper-bound expectation estimation of the infinitesimal operator to be mode-dependent, regardless of the sign and time-varying function rather than a constant, as is the case in certain existing results, which manifests the condition of the Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique in this paper is looser and less conservative. Purpose: We assessed the efficiency of low-dose recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) incorporated biomimetic calcium phosphate on β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) (rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP) on bone formation in a model of socket preservation using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanning and histological examination. Methods: Forty patients undergoing minimally invasive single-root tooth extraction for dental implantation were randomized to three groups according to the material used for socket preservation: filling with rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP, β-TCP, or natural healing (kept unfilled) (controls). The alveolar sockets (including the control group) were covered by two-layer collagen membranes and sutured. Two CBCT scans were taken, one immediately after socket preservation procedure (baseline) and another 6 weeks later. Gray values (GVs) obtained from CBCT were recorded. During insertion of the dental implant, biopsies were taken and analyzed histologically for new bone formation, residual material, and unmineralized bone tissue at the core of the biopsy. Results: The mean (± standard deviation) changes of GVs of the CBCT scans at the central area of filled materials were as follows: 373.19 ± 157.16 in the rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP group, 112.26 ± 197.25 in the β-TCP group, and -257 ± 273.51 in the control group. The decrease of GVs in the rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP group as compared with the β-TCP group was statistically significant (P < 0.001). Differences in new bone formation (P = 0.006) were also found: 21,18% ± 7.62% in the rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP group, 13.44% ± 6.03% in the β-TCP group, and 9.49% ± 0.08% in controls. The residual material was10.04% ± 4.57% in the rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP group vs. 20.60% ± 9.54%) in the β-TCP group (P < 0.001). Differences in unmineralized bone tissue (P < 0.001) were also found (68.78% ± 7.67%, 65.96% ± 12.64%, and 90.38% ± 7.5% in the rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TC, β-TCP, and control groups, respectively). Conclusions: This study shows that rhBMP-2/BioCaP/β-TCP is a promising bone substitute with fast degradation and potent pro-osteogenic capacity that can be useful for socket preservation in implant dentistry. Previous studies have shown that calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and Ca/Mg ratio are associated with inflammation and metabolic disorders, but their relationship with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is unclear. Thus, we aimed to explore the association between Ca, Mg, Ca/Mg ratio, and NAFLD in Chinese adults. We conducted a case-control study based on the Kailuan Cohort in China, including 1816 cases and 1111 gender- and age-matched controls. Dose-response relationships between blood Ca, Mg, Ca/Mg ratio, and NAFLD were evaluated using restricted cubic splines. Odds ratios (ORs) and their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated by logistic regression models. A negative association between blood Ca (overall association P < 0.001 and linear association P < 0.001) and NAFLD as well as Ca/Mg ratio (overall association P = 0.002 and linear association P = 0.024) and NAFLD was observed. Compared with the highest quartile, the adjusted OR (95% CI) for the lowest quartile of Ca and Ca/Mg ratio was 2.116 (1.679–2.667) and 1.358 (1.076–1.713), respectively. A U-shaped relationship was found for blood Mg and NAFLD, with the highest OR of 1.685 in the lowest quartile group when using the second quartile as a reference. Additionally, we observed the interaction between alanine aminotransferase and blood Ca (P = 0.024), total cholesterol (P = 0.017), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (P = 0.013), and blood Mg, as well as total cholesterol and Ca/Mg ratio (P = 0.014). Lower blood Ca and Ca/Mg ratio were significantly associated with the risk of NAFLD. Endothelial dysfunction represents a major cardiovascular risk factor for hypertension. Sp1 and Sp3 belong to the specificity protein and Krüppel-like transcription factor families. They are ubiquitously expressed and closely associated with cardiovascular development. We investigate the role of Sp1 and Sp3 in endothelial cells in vivo and evaluate whether captopril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI), targets Sp1/Sp3 to exert its effects. Inducible endothelial-specific Sp1/Sp3 knockout mice are generated to elucidate their role in endothelial cells. Tamoxifen-induced deletion of endothelial Sp1 and Sp3 in male mice decreases the serum nitrite/nitrate level, impairs endothelium-dependent vasodilation, and causes hypertension and cardiac remodeling. The beneficial actions of captopril are abolished by endothelial-specific deletion of Sp1/Sp3, indicating that they may be targets for ACEIs. Captopril increases Sp1/Sp3 protein levels by recruiting histone deacetylase 1, which elevates deacetylation and suppressed degradation of Sp1/Sp3. Sp1/Sp3 represents innovative therapeutic target for captopril to prevent cardiovascular diseases. Hypertension is the leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease, which represents the top cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Here, the authors show deletion of endothelial Sp1 and Sp3 leads to a disruption in endothelium-dependent vasodilation and the onset of hypertension, which abolishes the beneficial actions of captopril. In this paper, the anti-cancer activity and molecular mechanisms of the isomers of AD-1 and AD-2 (20(R)-AD-1, 20(R)-AD-2, 20(S)-AD-1 and 20(S)-AD-2) were investigated. The results indicated that all of the four compounds obviously suppressed the viability of various cancer cells, and the anti-cancer activity of 20(R)-AD-1 and 20(R)-AD-2 was significantly better than 20(S)-AD-1 and 20(S)-AD-2, especially for gastric cancer cells (BGC-803). Then, the differences in the anti-cancer mechanisms of the isomers were investigated. The data showed that 20(R)-AD-1 and 20(R)-AD-2 induced apoptosis and decreased MMP, up-regulated the expression of cytochrome C in cytosol, transferred Bax to the mitochondria, suppressed oxidative phosphorylation and glycolysis and stimulated reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. Apoptosis can be attenuated by the reactive oxygen species scavenger N-acetylcysteine. However, 20(S)-AD-1 and 20(S)-AD-2 barely exhibited the same results. The results indicated that 20(R)-AD-1 and 20(R)-AD-2 suppressed cellular energy metabolism and caused apoptosis through the mitochondrial pathway, which ROS generation was probably involved in. Photocatalytic conversion of carbon dioxide into fuels provides an effective approach to realize carbon resource utilization. However, the photocatalytic efficiency is still relatively low due to the recombination of photogenerated charges. Herein, we have designed Cu-doped SnO2 nanoparticles (Cu–SnO2) using a glucose-involved hydrothermal crystallization method for the photocatalytic reduction of CO2. The rich oxygen vacancies facilitated the separation and transfer of photogenerated charges, and the confined effect of the typical mesoporous structure promoted the adsorption of CO2, especially a high density of grain boundaries (GBs) and the doping of atomic Cu would introduce new active sites to activate CO2 molecules. This elaborately designed catalyst exhibited super and stable photocatalytic conversion activity of CO2-into-CO, with a CO optimal yield of 107 µmol g−1 in 4 h, which was 2.75 times that over pure SnO2. In situ Raman results indicated that the CO2 reduction reaction followed a *COOH pathway on Cu–SnO2. The hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution reconstruction has attracted much attention and been used widely in various study fields due to its low requirements on hardware in practice. However, most of the hyperspectral image super-resolution reconstruction studies apply one strategy for images with varying complexity of spatial information. This is not conducive to the improvement of Image processing efficiency and the extraction of complex details. Given the above, a new method named MSDESR (multilevel streams and detail enhancement) is proposed to reconstruct HSI by using partition reconstruction and detail enhancement. The MSDESR consists of a sub-map shunt block, a high-low-frequency information extraction with detail enhancement block, and a partition image reconstruction block. Firstly, the sub-map shunt block is designed to pre-classify hyperspectral images. The images are divided into complex and simple parts according to the spatial information distribution of the reconstructed sub-map. Secondly, the multiscale Retinex with detail enhancement algorithm is constructed to purify high-frequency noise-contaminated and enhance the image details by separating the samples into high- and low-frequency information. Finally, branching networks of different complexities are designed to reconstruct the images with high credibility and clear content. In this paper, datasets of QUST-1, Pavia University, Chikusei, the Washington DC Mal and XiongAn are applied in the experiments. The results show that MSDESR outperforms state-of-the-art CNN-based methods in terms of quantitative metrics, visual quality, and computational effort, with a 4.18% and 9.35% improvement in SRE and MPSNR metrics, and a 37% saving in FLOPs. Comprehensive Summary: Most conventional digital bioassays rely on the use of fully‐sealed microchambers as independent units to compartmentalize the target molecules and the signal generation reaction, which require specialized equipment or proprietary reagents/consumables. Herein, we report a microchamber‐free and spherical nucleic acid (SNA)‐amplified digital flow cytometric bead assay (dFBA) for ultrasensitive protein and exosome analysis with simple workflows, easily accessible instruments/reagents, and high discriminating ability towards the fluorescence‐positive and fluorescence‐negative beads. In this dFBA, microbeads are employed as independent carriers to anchor the single target molecule‐initiated signal amplification reaction, avoiding the use of sealed droplets or microwell microchambers. Meanwhile, antibody‐functionalized SNAs (FSNAs) with a high density of DNA probes act as a bridge for efficiently amplified target‐to‐DNA signal conversion, which allows the use of DNA‐based rolling circle amplification (RCA) as the fluorescence signal amplification technique to quantify non‐nucleic acid targets. Even a single target‐induced on‐bead RCA and fluorescence enriching are sufficient to make the target‐loaded bead bright enough to be clearly discriminated from the negative ones just by use of a most common flow cytometer (FCM). This dFBA has successfully realized the digital analysis of ultralow levels of protein and exosome biomarkers, enlarging the toolbox of digital bioassays for clinical applications.
