In order to solve the problems including lack of preview and single mode of teaching and evaluation in the teaching practice of fundamentals of machine design, the paper presents to change the traditional teaching method of teacher-centered and adopt flipped classroom which can realize student-centered autonomous learning. Teaching reform of fundamentals of machine design is presented in this paper based on e-leaming platform and flipped classroom. Depending on the Mosoteach platform, knowledge transfer before class, knowledge internalization in the classroom and knowledge consolidation and development after class have been applied in the teaching practice. As a traditional event, the Shanghai undergraduate chemistry experiment competition exerted significant influence among Shanghai and the Yangtze-river-delta region. This paper introduced the goals and objectives of the competition and described in detail the institution framework, the scale, contestant selection manners, contents, checkup forms as well as the characteristics of the competition. Combining with the specific proceedings of the competition, this paper elaborated the effect of competition on both promoting interschool exchange and pushing forward the teaching reform of chemistry experiment in the following four respects; 1. identifying problems existed in experiment teaching through participation in the competition; 2. improving the laboratory condition by sponsoring the competition; 3. organizing a symposium of experiment teaching during the competition; 4. conducting subsequent exchange of visits and contacts after the competition. Aiming at the problem of lack of hardware in existing image processing experiment, this paper presents an image processing platform based on touchscreen interaction device. The platform integrates a variety of functions such as obtaining image of a touchscreen, performing an image processing algorithm, simulating a person 's click on the touchscreen, and dragging the operation.
