Students believed physics was one of the most challenging sciences in education, and their interest in learning physics was lacking. Therefore, this study aims to enhance students' understanding and creativity in the STEAM learning system on electricity by creating a project (Paper Circuit) using the students' creativity at the junior high school level - quantitative research with a pre-experimental design used for this study. The population is 8th grade and 9th grade (50 students adapted to the curriculum used in the school) in one of the Junior Secondary Schools located in Bandung and Cimahi, Indonesia. The data is obtained from the pretest-posttest results, which show that the average pre-test score was 57.04 and the post-test score was 76.64. The nonparametric test was tested using the Wilcoxon test to measure student understanding. The results from e Wilcoxon are 0.000, which shows sig. <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test. Students' creativity is obtained from the Creativity Product Analysis Matrix (CPAM), and the result for Project 1 is 73.71%, categorized as enough, and Project 2 is 83.13%, categorized as good. Based on the result, Paper Circuit STEAM project-based learning can enhance student understanding and creativity. STEAM project-based learning can be used as an alternative teaching strategy in junior secondary school.

Paper umbrellas are one of the crafts included in the intangible cultural heritage of Malang, East Java. Currently, it is known that there is only one group of craftsmen who still produce this paper umbrella craft. Although not many of them, this paper umbrella craft still exists among people who like traditional handicrafts. This is evident from how often paper umbrella crafts appear at craft exhibitions in cities in Indonesia. Consequently, there is a pressing need for in-depth research on paper umbrella craftsmanship in Malang City. A valuable avenue for exploration is the examination of non-verbal communication aspects inherent in paper umbrella craftsmanship. This study aimed to determine the non-verbal communication aspects contained in paper umbrella crafts. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on analyzing non-verbal communication aspects. Data was collected using unstructured interview methods, documentation, and field surveys. The collected data was reduced for analysis using nonverbal communication theory. The study findings are presented descriptively, detailing the observed non-verbal communication aspects. The findings reveal three distinct categories of non-verbal communication aspects in paper umbrella craftsmanship: fixed features, semi-fixed features, and non-fixed features. Fixed features include shapes depicted on the umbrella. Semi fixed feature is a choice of material used to make paper umbrellas, colors, and motifs. The materials used are bamboo and paper. The colors of the umbrellas are red and green. The motif drawn on the umbrella is a floral motif. Flowers are present because they are the favorite shapes of the craftsmen who make umbrellas. Introduction: In 2020, an estimated 150 million children under the age of 5 years were stunted. Stunting results from early-life adversity and it is associated with significant physical and cognitive deficit, lifelong socioeconomic disadvantage and reduced life expectancy. There is a need to understand the causes of stunting and its effects in order to develop strategies to avoid it and to mitigate the consequences once stunting has occurred. Epigenetics is an important mechanism through which early-life factors are thought to influence biological function, with long-term consequences. We describe a series of epigenetic studies designed to understand how early-life adversity results in stunting and to inform the development of practical tools such as predictive markers and therapeutic targets. This work is part of the UKRI GCRF Action Against Stunting Hub., Methods and Analysis: The project-in India, Indonesia and Senegal-comprises an observational study of mothers, fathers, and offspring (n=500) spanning the first 1000 days of life, and an intervention study in each country. Epigenetic status (DNA methylation) is determined in saliva from babies collected within 1 month of birth and again at 18 months of age, and from mothers and fathers around the time of birth. Epigenome-wide analysis is carried out using the Illumina EPIC array, augmented by high-definition sequencing approaches. Statistical analysis is carried out at the level of candidate genes/regions, higher dimensional epigenetic states and epigenome-wide association. Background: Inadequate access to affordable, safe, desirable and convenient nutrient-dense food is one of the underlying causes of child stunting. While targeted nutrition-sensitive interventions (eg, backyard 'nutri-gardens') may increase dietary diversity within farming households, such interventions have limited scalability across the wider food system where markets remain underdeveloped. This research aims to develop and assess market-based interventions for key nutrient-dense foods to help improve the diets of women and children in the first 1000 days of life., Methods: Data collection uses four parallel approaches in each of the three study countries (India, Indonesia and Senegal). (1) A novel food environment tool will be developed to characterise the accessibility and affordability of nutrient-dense foods in the study countries. The tool will be validated through pretesting using cognitive interviewing and piloting in purposively sampled households, 10 (cognitive interviewing) and 30 (piloting) households in each country; (2) stakeholder interviews (eg, with producers, intermediaries and retailers) will be conducted to map out nutrition-sensitive entry points of key value chains (eg, animal-sourced foods), before hotspots of potential food safety hazards will be identified from food samples collected along the chains; (3) the Optifood and Agrifood tools will be used to identify foods that can address food system nutrient gaps and engage key stakeholders to prioritise market interventions to improve nutrition outcomes. Introduction: Child stunting has a complex aetiology, especially in the first 1000 days of life. Nutrition interventions alone have not produced expected impacts in reducing/preventing child stunting, indicating the importance of understanding the complex interplay between environmental, physiological and psychological factors influencing child nutritional status. This study will investigate maternal and child nutrition, health and well-being status and associated factors through the assessment of: (1) anthropometry, (2) biomarkers of nutrition and health status, (3) dietary intakes, (4) fetal growth and development, (5) infant morbidity, (6) infant and young child feeding (IYCF) and (7) perinatal maternal stress, depression and social support., Methods: This study will be conducted in a prospective pregnancy cohort in India, Indonesia and Senegal. Pregnant women will be recruited in the second (Indonesia, Senegal) and third (India) trimester of pregnancy, and the mother and infant dyads followed until the infant is 24 months of age. During pregnancy, anthropometric measures will be taken, venous blood samples will be collected for biochemical assessment of nutrition and health status, dietary intakes will be assessed using a 4-pass-24-hour dietary recall method (MP24HR), fetal ultrasound for assessment of fetal growth. After birth, anthropometry measurements will be taken, venous blood samples will be collected, MP24HR will be conducted, infant morbidity and IYCF practices will be assessed and a sample of breastmilk will be collected for nutrient composition analyses. Perinatal maternal stress, depression, social support and hair cortisol levels (stress) will be measured. Introduction: Childhood stunting is associated with poorer child health, growth and development including diminished cognitive abilities. Mapping out the links between child stunting and Early Childhood Education and Development is critical to increasing understanding of the causes and effects of childhood stunting, and for programme and policy development. The aim of this study is to investigate and compare the development and educational environments across India, Indonesia and Senegal, and to identify the multifactorial drivers and impacts of childhood stunting to inform a new typology., Methods and Analysis: This current study is part of an interdisciplinary observational research study, where women are recruited during pregnancy and mother-infant pairs followed prospectively, up to 24 months after birth. Eight measures will be used to profile children's early development and learning environments in two sample cohorts: (A) children aged 12 and 24 months born to the women recruited during pregnancy (ie, 500 pregnant mothers per country) and (B) a preschool case-control cohort of siblings from the main cohort aged between 3:6 and 5:6 years of age where anthropomorphic measures will be collected to assess degrees of stunting. This research employs critical discourse analysis (CDA) to examine a news article titled "KPU Chief Rebuffs Allegations of Bias during VP Debate" from the Jakarta Post, focusing on the transition from print to online media or E-Paper. In this research, the two main methods used to collect data are documentation via the Jakarta Post e-paper news page and content review. This approach provides the advantage of exploring information in depth and comprehensively related to the phenomenon or event that is the focus of the research. Utilizing Teun A. van Dijk's CDA framework, the analysis encompasses macro, superstructure, and micro structures. The macro-structural analysis reveals the social and political context, identifying social groups and emphasizing narrative importance. The critical discourse superstructure analysis delves into linguistic patterns, representations of power, and strategic language use. Finally, the micro-structural analysis explores word choice, grammar, writing style, and sentence structure to understand how language constructs arguments and responds to accusations. Through these lenses, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of how the news shapes and reflects social and political dynamics, contributing valuable insights into media discourse surrounding political events in Indonesia. Anthraquinone has been widely utilized in the pulp and paper industry as a catalyst for alkaline cooking; however, its application has been recently restricted due to its potential carcinogenic effects. Hence, safer alternatives to anthraquinone have been explored. Agro-industrial by-products have been utilized as sustainable sources of value-added materials. In this study, teak (Tectona grandis) wood waste from Gunung Kidul, Indonesia, which naturally contains lapachol, was utilized as a biocatalyst to enhance delignification and improve pulp yield in alkaline cooking for pulp and paper production. The use of lapachol as a cooking catalyst was investigated for kraft, soda, and prehydrolysis soda cooking. Lapachol accelerated delignification and retained carbohydrate in all three alkaline cooking methods, with its effect being more pronounced in kraft cooking than in soda cooking. This study aims to explore the correlation between students' digital competence and indecision with the challenges they encounter during the online scientific writing assistance process amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Students faced multiple forms of hesitation, communication breakdowns, and missed opportunities for discussion during this process. The research findings target guidelines for writing scientific papers. Qualitative data was collected through an online survey of 100 students from public universities in Indonesia. The research instrument employed an online questionnaire distributed to students via the Google Forms application. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative and interpretive approaches based on the principles of content analysis. The results revealed that students experienced profound doubts and confusion when it came to organizing their thoughts while conducting research and writing scientific papers as final projects. This research suggests that students' digital intelligence alone is insufficient for accessing the information required by their intellectual intelligence in writing scientific papers. Cheating behaviour in exams in the form of plagiarism occurs in school and college education. Academic fraud is common at the higher education level at the undergraduate, master's level, and even at the doctoral level. Academic fraud is getting out of control and is difficult to eradicate on examinations carried out online without strict supervision. The purpose of this research was to reveal the level of academic cheating in the form of plagiarism and its correlation with the results of the mid and final test of the Doctoral program, which was conducted in the form of an on-line take-home examination. This research use a correlation analysis technique with a simple regression test. The sample was determined by purposive sampling technique, amounting to 101 students of 2018, 2019, and 2020 classes who took the 2nd-semester learning technical analysis and development courses. The plagiarism level of the mid and final-semester results was tested using Turnitin. This research found that the level of plagiarism in the form of an average similarity index in the mid-semester are at the intermediate level; medium level internet resources; publication at a low level; and middle-level student papers. Meanwhile, at the end of the semester, it is known that the similarity index is at the intermediate level; medium level internet resources; low level publications, and student papers at the intermediate level. Furthermore, the results of this study also reveal that there is a positive and significant correlation between index, internet source, and student papers with the results of mid-semester exams, except for the source of publication plagiarism. Meanwhile, there is only a positive and significant correlation between the source of student paper plagiarism and the examination of the results for the final semester exams. In contrast, the similarity index, internet sources, and publication did not find a significant relationship.

Microplastics in domestic wastewater are detrimental to living organisms and appear in a variety of sizes, colors, and shapes. The purpose of this study is to examine the distribution of microplastics in domestic wastewater, as well as the possibility for microplastic removal in wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). The sampling method used is SNI 6989.59:2008 concerning Wastewater Sampling Methods that Apply in Indonesia. To remove organic compounds in the sample, 0.05 M Fe (II) and 30% H2O2 solution were added by the digestion process at 75 ℃ for 30 minutes and cooled. Samples were filtered using Whattman GF/C filter paper with the help of a vacuum pump and dried. To identify the concentration, shape, size, color of microplastics, visual analysis was used with the help of a microscope using the zig-zag technique. The concentration of microplastics in domestic wastewater in Gampong Garot is 30.17 ± 0.75 particles/100 mL sample. The most commonly found microplastic size is 1,001-5,000 μm, while the dominant color is transparent. The forms of microplastic found in the samples were fiber, fragments and microbeads with a percentage of 65.20%, 23.16% and 11.64%, respectively. These microplastics come from local community activities such as washing clothes, bathing, washing dishes, and other activities. So, it is necessary to treat domestic wastewater using WWTP. Refuse derived fuel (RDF) is an environmentally friendly renewable fuel developed to reduce waste generation. RDF can consist of various kinds of waste such as paper and gardens. One of the critical parameters is the chemical element and calorific value. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for waste reduction and the relationship of ultimate longevity in RDF to the calorific value. This study's paper and garden waste mixture were P0 (100% paper), P25 (75% paper and 25% garden), P50 (50% paper and 50% garden), P75 (25% paper and 75% garden), and P100 (100% garden). The calorific value of the mixture can reach 3.6-5.2 kWh/kg. Simultaneously the relationship of ultimate elements nitrogen (N), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), and ash affects the heating value of RDF. Sampling the application in Depok City can reduce waste by 6.67%, with the potential for electrical energy from paper and garden wastes of 358,903.8 kWh and 48,681 kWh, respectively. Research in legislative drafting in Indonesia is compulsory. Output of the research is academic paper (Naskah Akademik) which supports rationale needed for legislative drafting. This academic paper also provides logical and objective argumentation on significance of legislation. Even though research in legislative drafting has become a compulsory since 2011, academics and practitioners found several weaknesses in research methodology. This article discusses two major issues related to research methodology in legislative drafting (developing the academic analysis). The first is dynamics of legislative policy developments related to research methodology for developing academic paper for legislative drafting in Indonesia. The second is weaknesses of legislative policy developments related to research methodology for legislative drafting in Indonesia. This article shows that the national policy on legislation did not provide comprehensive guidance on research methods for developing academic paper for legislative drafting. The existing guideline discussed general issues, which affect quality of academic paper for legislative drafting. As an addition, academic paper for legislative drafting is treated as not more than complementary document for the drafting because it provided neither scientific justification nor arguments. The paper conceptualises digital technology as a source of innovation in value co-creation (VCC) at the bottom of pyramid (BOP) markets through fieldwork focused on vegetable supply chains in Indonesia. An inductive analysis based uponin-depth, semi-structured interviews with multiple business actors identified VCC in an emerging e-commerce channel where digital technologies enabled engagement and interaction amongst channel members. The results suggest that market scripting based upon an inclusive, collaborative and empowerment ideology, which can lead to sustainable development and income redistribution from consumers to producers, was explicitly embedded in their VCC agenda. Fair-trade practices supported customer-driven innovations. For consumers, digital technologies created online 'consumption communities' where information and educational interactions supported online food purchases and innovation in the supply chain 'pull' strategies. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to indicate the current state of studies on Islamic finance and management through a bibliometric analysis of the only social science citation index (SSCI)-indexed journal in this field. Design/methodology/approach: The paper uses a bibliometric analysis, collecting data from the 319 papers published in the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management (IMEFM) from 2008 to 2019. Moreover, VOSviewer software has been used to illustrate the citation analysis (including most cited papers, most cited authors and authors' affiliated institutions and countries) and the keyword map. Findings: The number of papers published in each issue of the IMEFM is found to have significantly increased owing to its unique situation being the only SSCI-indexed journal in this domain. The share of the empirical researches in total papers published annually has steadily risen, reaching 95% in 2019. In terms of case countries, although Malaysia is the most examined country in the papers, other countries such as Indonesia and Turkey are found to have been used as a case country by researchers recently. Islamic banking-related papers are the most prevalent studies, as expected, with mainly their performance being examined. Meanwhile, the number of papers about Islamic social financial institutions has notably grown in recent years. Finally, technology-based initiatives such as crowdfunding and cryptocurrencies are noted to have not yet been the subject of any paper. Originality/value: The main contribution of this study is its analysis of the only SSCI-indexed journal on Islamic finance and management using bibliometrics. Teachers as professionals play an essential role in the 21st Century in achieving the vision of national education. Teachers in the 21st Century must continue to improve their academic responsibilities, including writing scientific papers. However, the fact is that teacher activities are still focused on teaching and neglect scientific writing. Therefore, there must be an effort to explore their difficulties in writing. For this reason, this descriptive qualitative research aims to explore the difficulties of teachers in writing scientific papers identified through training activities. The research subjects were teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Manggarai Ruteng, Indonesia (n=20). We followed a method of using a data collection process that includes document analysis, participatory observation, and focus group discussions. As a result of our research, we mapped the difficulties of teachers. Ongoing training, adding to the library collection, controlling and monitoring the implementation of Madrasah teacher working groups' activities, and mentoring experts need to be considered to support Madrasah teachers' professionalism. In the face of escalating global energy demands, the construction and management of pier infrastructure emerge as pivotal challenges, particularly for energy companies like Pertamina Patra Niaga in Indonesia. This paper aims to optimize pier construction management through the implementation of an OmniClass Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), addressing the critical need for standardized project management methodologies in complex, large-scale construction projects. By integrating a multidimensional WBS approach, akin to the hypercube or tesseract model, this study explores the enhancement of project planning, execution, and management. Employing a comprehensive literature review and case study analysis, the research investigates the efficacy of OmniClass WBS in facilitating better project coordination, cost estimation, and risk management. The findings underscore the significant advantages of adopting a standardized, multidimensional WBS, including improved data management and project outcome predictability. This paper aims to elucidate the phenomenon of cost overruns resulting from government-led risks, with a specific focus on contract changes within the context of 70 Indonesian toll road projects. The dataset demonstrates a broad spectrum of cost overrun rates (COR), from −34.43% to 356.54%, with a median of 0.00% (mean = 14.83%). Empirical evidence demonstrates that contract changes exert a discernible influence on cost overruns. Among the sampled projects, 39 out of 70 encountered changes in their original contracts, and within this subset of projects, the median COR was 7.00% (mean = 26.63%). In the case of projects experiencing cost overruns and underruns, the median COR amounted to 21.00% (mean = 44.55%, n = 27) and −13.50% (mean = −13.72%, n = 12), respectively. After decades of successful artemisinin regimen in combating malaria, its effectiveness has decreased since parasite resistance to the treatment regimen has begun to appear. Adherence to artemisinin combination therapy (ACT) in a population is considered to be the key factor contributing to such resistance phenomenon. Although several studies have tried to demonstrate adherence to several ACT types in a population, only a limited number of studies demonstrated adherence to dihyrdroartemisinin + piperaquine (DHP) regimen. The present study was conducted in two localities representing low and high endemic areas in Indonesia. Active case detection (ACD) and passive case detection (PCD) have been applied to screen for malaria case in the localities. At day 3, patients were visited in the house to be interviewed using structured questionnaire. Capillary sample of each patient was also collected on Whatman® filter paper at day 60 to observe the piperaquine metabolite of the patients. 47 and 91 (out of 62 and 138) patients from Jambi and Sumba, respectively, were successfully enrolled in this study. In Jambi, the level of adherence was 66%, while that in Sumba was 79.1%. The associated factors of adherence in our study settings are patient age group (OR = 1.65 [CI: 0.73–3.73]) and patients' knowledge of malaria prevention measure (OR = 0.29 [CI: 0.09–0.9]). Our study suggested that the adherence to ACT medication among population in our study setting is considered to be less than 80%, which needs to be elevated to avoid the growing trend of treatment failure as seen globally. Additionally, our study found that metabolite at day 60 after prescription of piperaquine could be a potential marker for monitoring adherence to piperaquine drug in a population. Sheath rot disease seriously limits rice productivity in several countries. In this study, Fusarium spp. were proven to be major pathogens responsible for sheath rot disease in Indonesia. The disease was initially found in 13 provinces in Indonesia. A total of 287 fungal isolates was obtained from 900 sampled leaf sheaths, and all of them were shown to be pathogenic to rice plants by artificial inoculation. Molecular identification of sheath rot pathogens was performed using the translation elongation factor 1-alpha (TEF1-α) gene sequencing. Morphological characterization was conducted using synthetic low-nutrient agar (SNA) using filter paper. Species within the Fusarium incarnatum-equiseti species complex (FIESC) and the Fusarium fujikuroi species complex (FFSC) were the major taxa found to be associated with the disease. The FIESC included Fusarium bubalinum, F. hainanense, F. sulawesiense and F. tanahbumbuense. The FFSC included F. andiyazi, F. fujikuroi, F. proliferatum, F. pseudocircinatum, and F. sacchari. Fusarium grosmichelii, a member of the Fusarium oxysporum species complex (FOSC), and a species within the Fusarium solani species complex (FSSC) were also found to be associated with the disease. The species in the FIESC and the FFSC are morphologically difficult to distinguish; however, some FFSC species have some diagnostic traits. This is the first study to identify the Fusarium spp. causing sheath rot disease in Indonesia through field survey, fungal isolation, pathogenicity test, molecular identification, and morphological characterization. The Hydrologic Engineering Center-Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) model can be applied to simulate hydrological processes. This model has been widely used in recent days because it is openly accessible to the public. The search result from this study identifies 180 cases discussing the model applications in Indonesian watersheds in peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers. The model has been used in Indonesia since 2005, but the highest application is in 2020 with 42 articles. In the context of application distribution, Java Island ranks first place with 123 scientific publications. However, the HEC-HMS model is predominantly used to simulate the "Small" and "Very Small" watershed size categories. The availability of insufficient field data is huge obstacle for hydrological modeling in Indonesia. Furthermore, the model may be extended to address the issues in Indonesia's eastern watersheds. The escalating consumption of LPG in Indonesia has prompted the country's National Oil & Gas Company to embark on constructing a new LPG Facility. This paper addresses the imperative to streamline the Front-End Loading (FEL) stage to prevent cost and schedule overruns due to scope creep. The primary objective is to formulate a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the LPG Facility Construction project, aimed at facilitating accurate cost estimation and scheduling processes for diverse stakeholders. Using the unfolded tesseract theory to analyze stakeholder needs and elucidate the object-oriented WBS, a Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) analysis was conducted. The study concludes that a multidimensional WBS, particularly employing OmniClass, is the optimal choice for addressing the complexities of the LPG Facility Project and meeting stakeholder needs within BIM software. As a national Oil and gas Company, PERTAMINA guarantees optimal Fuel Storage capacity throughout Indonesia. This paper responds to the pressing demand for streamlining planning and construction activities related to New Storage Tanks so that PERTAMINA can fulfill its target. The solution presented is a standardized Work and Cost Breakdown Structure (WBS/CBS) that was crafted for effortless implementation and could ease the scheduling and cost estimation processes. Furthermore, the author thoughtfully designed this framework to integrate it into the BIM system, boosting its efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizing Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM), the author chose the Omni Class WBS standard for constructing the WBS/CBS. The study concludes with a comprehensive proposal for a functional 3D WBS architecture. The emphasis lies on precise definitions, comprehensive stakeholder coverage, and seamless integration into the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system. I review the literature in international trade that uses Indonesian firm-level data, particularly the Annual Manufacturing Survey compiled by the Industrial Statistics division of Statistics Indonesia. I identify the issues addressed and the scope for new policy-relevant research questions. From a data-availability approach, I provide insights into general data concerns and constraints faced by researchers. From a policy-relevance approach, I find that a limited number of topics are analysed in the studies that use the data and are published in international refereed journals. This paper describes a study that examined the affordances of an intercultural programme of telecollaboration to promote the intercultural and transcultural awareness of adolescent learners in Indonesia. Baker's (2015, 2022) model of twelve components of intercultural and transcultural awareness is applied to investigate the development of the learners' awareness as a result of their engagement in the programme. This paper begins with a review of the literature on intercultural and transcultural awareness in English Language Teaching and the description of a framework that is suitable for fostering awareness in the classroom through intercultural telecollaboration. Then, the discussion moves to the study that has been conducted following the guidelines and the features influencing an intercultural telecollaboration programme developed by Hoffstaedter and Kohn (2015), which provides a holistic framework not only for conducting pedagogical research, but also for designing an intercultural telecollaboration programme that aligns with the characteristics of the classroom context. Finally, the findings are contrasted with Baker's model in order to understand the extent to which the intercultural telecollaboration programme has promoted the learners' intercultural and transcultural awareness. Background: Flies are insects that can contaminate food with various harmful disease agents. It is not yet known which fly trap is the most effective at trapping flies. There are three types of fly traps as local wisdom for the culinary area of Bantul Beach, which is used to control fly populations: sticky paper, plastic bowls, and plastic bottles. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sticky paper, plastic bowls, and plastic bottles in trapping flies. Method: This research was an experimental study with three fly traps: sticky paper, plastic bowls, and plastic bottles. Measurements were made by placing fly traps in 12 seafood stalls in the culinary area of Bantul Beach. The number of trapped flies was counted by hand counter. Data were analyzed using the One-Way ANOVA test, significance level (α) = 0.05, and Post Hoc Test Multiple Comparison advanced test. Results: Sticky paper could trap 297 flies (69.4%), followed by 121 plastic bowls (28.3%) and ten plastic bottles (2.3%). The analysis showed that sticky paper had significantly different effectiveness in trapping flies compared to plastic bowls (p = 0.032) and plastic bottles (p = 0.004). In contrast, the efficacy of plastic bowls and bottles was not significantly different (p = 0.130). Conclusion: The effectiveness of sticky paper in trapping flies was significantly different from that of plastic bowls and plastic bottles, while the efficacy of plastic bowls and plastic bottles was not significantly different. Purpose: The increasing number of papers on zakah shows that it has become an important research topic. However, few studies attempt to analyze the evolution of zakah studies which might be helpful as guidance for policymakers in creating zakah management systems and policies, for zakah management organizations administering zakah funds, for future research on related subjects and for academic actors to construct a zakah study curriculum. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the evolution of zakah theme publications from 1964 to 2021. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses bibliometric analysis to analyze the evolution of zakah research. This study compared all Scopus-indexed journal papers to Zakah publications regarding research flow, themes, abstracts and titles. The relationships between researchers, the titles of the papers and keywords associated with "zakah" are analyzed in these publications published between 1964 and 2021. A total of 632 scientific contributions were discovered using RStudio and VOSviewer to analyze the bibliometric metadata. Findings: Based on the results, the theme of zakah has evolved from 1964 to 2021. The author emphasizes the zakah publication theme. Each affiliation and country have its conditions, management method, data sources and characteristics. The theme "zakah institutions and zakah collecting" grew in popularity between 2010 and 2021 and is projected to grow in the following years. Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan can be used as zakah development research models. In spans of zakah publications, the author with the most global citations is Wahab N.A., and the author with the most productive is Saad Raj. Research limitations/implications: Zakah publications are analyzed using the Scopus database. This study applied only Scopus index data, excluding non-Scopus, and most studies conducted in non-English languages. This conclusion indicates the issue's importance among academic researchers and practitioners, notably on the subject of zakah. Thus, a comprehensive picture of zakah theme publications assists researchers and zakah fund institutions in making assessments, focusing on the unstudied fraction of the zakah theme. Practical implications: This research is planned to serve as a reference for future research, particularly examining the theme's novelty. It is intended to have implications for policymakers, particularly zakah institutions, regarding funding the several zakah research issues and concentrations. Social implications: This research can guide future researchers and is expected to include parameters such as author, year and data source while analyzing zakah publications to generate new findings. Originality/value: This is probably one of few comprehensive studies that examined the evolution of the zakah theme using the Scopus-indexed database. The relevance of this paper is to provide suggestions and projections for future zakah research. Scholars should examine zakah publications by author, year and data source to gain fresh insights. The adoption of Business intelligence (BI) has become increasingly prominent among organizations for attracting customers and gaining a competitive edge. This becomes even more important for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which face immense pressure to retain existing customers and attract more customers for survival. This study presents a systematic literature review of studies investigating the impact of BI on customer relations with exclusive focus on Indonesia, which has a growing number of SMEs (also called ‘UMKMs’). By examining 15 papers published between 2013 to 2024, the findings of the study highlight that BI contributes to building better connections with customers and making them feel more engaged and satisfied. This study provides valuable insights for SMEs in Indonesia to adopt BI to attract more customers. This perspective paper contemplates the nuances of engaging with literature ethically in conducting a scoping review based on the researchers' project on girlhood studies in Indonesia. We assert that the ethical perspective extends beyond conventional primary data collection from human participants, further emphasizing the essence of a feminist methodology in this scholarly investigation. We discuss the interplay between the role of rigor and the dynamics of power relations in research, shedding light on reconciling between the pursuit of facts and acknowledgment of biases in knowledge production. This reflection offers insights into the methodological process and the researcher's role, contributing to the broader discourse on how research can effectively address issues of gender equity and social inclusion. Through this paper, we underscore the necessity of an intentional approach in unifying the domains of science and advocacy because only then can we truly catalyze transformative change. In doing so, we seek to foster a more comprehensive, objective, and empathetic understanding of the researched: in this case, the experiences of girls and young women -and, by extension, marginalized individuals in Indonesia and beyond. Background: Pigment Red 53 is a dangerous synthetic dye that is often added to cosmetics, even though its use in cosmetic products has been prohibited because of possible impacts on health. Faster and more sensitive detection of Pigment Red 53 is needed for onsite analysis to protect the community from illegal cosmetics that contain the dye. Indicator color charts are a kind of analytical method that can be used to detect Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic products, including lipstick, rouge, and eyeshadow. Such charts are practical, fast, and can be used for onsite analysis. Methods: In this study, an indicator for Pigment Red 53 detection was obtained through a reagent reaction that caused a specific color change. An indicator color chart was then produced by setting out in paper form the series of colors which resulted from the reaction of specific chemical reagents and Pigment Red 53 solutions at concentrations of 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 ppm. Results: The testing results showed that the indicator color chart may be used as an initial screening method for the detection of Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic products with a detectable minimum concentration of 10 ppm. Out of nine samples, only one (Eyeshadow 3) tested positive for Pigment Red 53. Further analysis was carried out on the indicator color chart and the results showed good agreement with TLC and UV–Vis spectrophotometry methods. Conclusion: The results reported in this paper demonstrate that the indicator color chart is a good prospective method for onsite analysis to detect Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic samples, with a lower detection limit compared to polymer‐based indicators. The problem with making batik in Indonesia and Malaysia so far is that it is still very manual and has not taken much advantage of technological advances. The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is currently very advanced, continues to innovate, and has even touched various aspects of human life. Limitations in ideas, human resources, knowledge, tools, and internet networks are the dominant conditions that cause problems in Indonesian and Malaysian batik creations. This study aims to use Artificial Intelligence to describe the combination of Indonesian and Malaysian batik patterns. This paper uses a descriptive-qualitative method with an experimental approach in the form of trials for the creation of batik patterns using the Imagine Artificial Intelligence platform; each trial is based on three basic patterns of batik, namely Sawat and Gurdha (Indonesia) and Orchid and Tiger (Malaysia). The results of this paper generated eight totally new Indonesian-Malaysian batik patterns. Artificial Intelligence (AI) was very helpful for the development of batik patterns. Through the creation of new batik patterns with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it certainly creates new opportunities for the creation and business of batik to become more advanced.
