The Greek verb deî appears several times in Luke-Acts and in different contexts of 'necessity': the necessity of the mission and the passion of Jesus and Paul; the necessity of the fulfilment of the Scripture; the necessity of moral or religious obligations as well as other necessary actions. The Peshitta does not translate all of occurrences of deî in Luke-Acts in the same way but chooses various verbs and expressions. The most frequent translation is the verb wāle ("to be right", "to be convenient", "one must"), which translates deî in different contexts. Another word used with a certain frequency is the passive participle ʻatid ("one must", "to be necessary", "to be destined"). However, the usage of this word, rich in theological content, is restricted to particular contexts. This paper seeks to give a precise explanation for how the Peshitta deals with the translation of deî in Luke-Acts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

If we were to use the categories of historiographical controversy, we would have to conclude that the the story of Gregorio Carruggio represented one of the few cases of intellectual anti-fascism militant in Salento: in fact, from the news we recovered, there were no other malicious cases in Lecce of public fires of the printing machines, such as the one that touched the "Italia Meridionale" paper, directed by Carruggio. And this would be enough. By reading the newspaper, we can know the profile of a free man like few others, who produces a thought and a work, which they did not want to foment revolting masses, but like few other intellectuals were able to surround a class with a void inadequate, false, and often even ridiculous manager. This paper intends to deal with a rather debated topic in the context of historiography on fascism, namely the role that the prefects played in its affirmation, especially in the Southern regions. After analyzing continuity and differences in the prefectural functions between the Giolitti age and fascism, especially in relation to the figure of the so-called "political prefect", the essay offers a reconstruction of the case study of the Terra d'Otranto, focusing attention on figures such as Eugenio De Carlo and Enrico D'Arienzo. The survey highlights the non-negligible difficulties through which the action of the prefectural authority had to unravel in Lecce and in the province, witnessed by rapid changes and removals. Moreover, this signaled the serious problems of consensus and stability in the political direction that fascism had to face, especially in the early years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper intends to offer an overview of the historiography on "local fascisms", exploring the reasons that led to its emergence, between the Seventies and Nineties of the Twentieth century, and its subsequent developments. At the same time, the main issues that, in the last forty years, have presided over the investigative work on the link between fascism and the South will be examined. Local fascisms in the Mezzogiorno were questioned through the theme of continuity and ruptures between the liberal and fascist ruling classes and that of the internal balances within the "agrarian bloc", whose interpretation was based on the categories of "modernization" and "corporatism". The article closes by illustrating issues and problems posed by the case of the advent of fascism in the Terra d'Otranto and in the province of Lecce. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
From birth, if right from the intrauterine period, the mouth is the seat of sensory experiences that are fundamental for the development of our psyche. As psychoanalysts, we can-not limit ourselves to simply saying that we are dealing with the oral area or with the oral phase, since this area of the body is responsible for at least a dozen different functions, such as digestive, phonatory, respiratory and taste perception, just to name the most important ones. These multiple functions must constantly coexist in the double relational dimension with oneself and with others and in a reciprocal alternation between activities related to nutrition and those related to breathing. Starting from a patient's dream, the present paper explores the meaning of experiences and fantasies about the mouth in the clinical dimension, comparing the main bibliographic sources on the subject. - Abstract
This paper aims to represent the synthesis of the clinical experience of Dr. Antonino Lo Cascio, a pupil of Bernhardt and co-founder of AIPA, with respect to the analytical clinic technique. The text is built on an interview structure, in which the authors? Antonino Lo Cascio and Cristina Brunialti? define the stages of the analytic path. Unexplored aspects of the technique are deepened, according to a particular perspective that the Authors define autodafè. The reader will find food for thought between the reference to the technique and Lo Cascio's biographical narrative. The interviewer Cristina Brunialti, a pupil and friend of Lo Cascio, "has fun" with him to give shape to a conversational and spontaneous dialogue that deals with complex issues still debated in the psychoanalytic field. SILENT reading , *READING comprehension , *OPEN-ended questions , *DYSLEXIA , *CONTROL groups , *ADULTS - Abstract
The paper presents further results concerning the evaluation of the effects of an intervention aimed at improving reading abilities in adulthood. Previous research has shown that the Super Reading course, hinging on strategies and techniques that enhance different components of reading (i.e., metacognitive abilities, memory, visual-perceptive abilities, emotional aspects, and motivation), allows adult participants (both normotypical and with dyslexia) to improve both their reading speed and their comprehension levels. The improvement is significant and hardly attributable to different factors but course participation. In order to give evidence of this and, at the same time, to evaluate the possible effect of knowledge of the testing procedure, a control group has been taken into consideration. This group, including 34 normotypical adult readers, has been administered the same readings tests as the participants to the course, randomly distributed in three/four different sessions. Differences between the first and the last session have been measured for eight parameters reflecting the structure of the tests. Each test consists of a 400-word passage to be read silently, followed by ten open questions. The passage is then read again and the same questions have to be answered. The measures considered for the analysis comprise: first reading time, second reading time, total reading time, first reading comprehension, second reading comprehension, and three measures of reading effectiveness (at first reading, at second reading, and total), a synthetic measure combining time and comprehension. The data of the control group have been compared with those obtained by a sample of 154 normotypical readers, who attended the course. Comparing the differences between first and last session statistically significant results in the measures of both time and reading effectiveness emerged. The differences for comprehension were not statistically significant, but these measures were strongly influenced by a ceiling effect. On the whole, the results confirm the effectiveness of the course in promoting reading abilities, in terms of both speed and comprehension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Objective: The aim of this paper is to analyse the effect that the shift from face-to-face to distance relationship had on some procedural aspects of the clinical psychological setting and on the mental setting of psychologists and psychotherapists (in particular, those who used the online setting for the first time). In this perspective, the article illustrates and analyses the results of a pilot research conducted during the Italian national lockdown. Method: The research was carried out with a semi-structured questionnaire developed with Google Forms. The questionnaire (17 closed questions and 2 open questions) was divided into four sections: 1. Personal data; 2. Professional activity; 3. External/material setting; 4. Internal/mental setting. The questionnaire was available online from 6th to 27th April 2020. 160 questionnaires were collected: 45 (28.13%) psychologists and 115 (71.87%) psychotherapists. Results: 37.50% of the respondents did not perceive any significant change in their attitude following the changeover to the online mode (6.25% reported that they felt even better compared to face-to-face interviews). 27.50% of the respondents experience a greater "familiarity" with the patient; 24.38% are curious about the domestic environment framed by the webcam; 20.63%, on the other hand, experience embarrassment when entering the patient's home. The main problems reported by psychologists/psychotherapists are of a technical nature (limited quality of devices and connections) because they make it difficult to "tune in" to the patient. 43.75% of the respondents also reported difficulties in understanding the interlocutor's non-verbal communication. 25.63% of psychologists/psychotherapists also report being more active and 18.75% admit that in the online setting it is more difficult to remain silent. Conclusions: Technology-mediated communication has made it possible to overcome the constraints imposed by the pandemic and has enabled psychotherapists and patients not to interrupt counselling and therapy. However, the online setting has different characteristics from the offline setting, characteristics that tend to influence the behaviour and mental disposition of the psychologist/psychotherapist. Curiosity, embarrassment but also greater activity and difficulty in maintaining silence seem to be some of the possible outcomes of the online setting on the clinician. On the other hand, the prevalence of the visual channel can induce the psychologist/psychotherapist to superimpose what he sees with what he is. In essence, the online setting may induce the idea that no further meaning is needed or possible than what is shown on the screen. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictive measures have had a significant impact on the mental health of the entire population, especially children and adolescents. It seems appropriate to make a distinction between stressful events, which most families have experienced, and real traumatic experiences, which only the most vulnerable individuals have been victims of. In fact, the most recent data (WHO, 2020) show a significant increase in the rates of intra-family violence against women and minors around the world, during the period of the lockdown. The aim of this paper is to illustrate the spectrum of symptoms that the experience of a complex trauma determines on children and adolescents, and at the same time to indicate the possible strategies to facilitate the early detection of distress indicators and implement the necessary interventions in emergency contexts in an integrated and multilevel perspective. - Abstract
The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the most relevant contributions regarding the application of so-called third generation interventions of cognitive behavioral therapy, such as mindfulness and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), in the context of therapy for autism spectrum disorders. In particular, our attention is focused on the application of these interventions aimed at caregivers of individuals with autism spectrum disorder who have not reached the mature age. To this end, a search was conducted on the contributions published between 2005 and 2020 through the main search engines: it led to a final number of 8 revised articles. At present, the scarce availability of reliable results does not allow to arrive at a structured, valid and reliable model of intervention; nevertheless, having ascertained the potential benefit that emerged from the few studies conducted, it is possible to deduce that the line of research undertaken may create a protocol of proven effectiveness for the future. BUILDING information modeling , *RAILROAD design & construction , *INTERNATIONAL cooperation , *RAILROADS - Abstract
According to UNI 11337, Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of creating and managing information about a building throughout its life cycle. One of the fundamental results of this process is a multidimensional model, i.e. one that goes beyond the three-dimensional description and offers a complete perspective of the built work. This model is developed based on information that is collaboratively entered and updated during the main phases of the project. In this paper, we present the BIM model of the Gradec-Sveti Ivan Žabno railway line developed within the international cooperation activities between the Universities of Naples Federico II and Zagreb to highlight the advantages and limitations of the methodology applied to a real railway project. - Abstract
In this paper I try to highlight the way the model of the analytic field, as developed by Ferro and the Pavia school, can also find meaningful and fertile application in couple psychoanalytic psychotherapy. It can promote the development of instruments for thinking together, with the aim of transforming proto-emotional and proto-sensorial states into something more understandable, and can lead to the creation of new narrations, co-constructed between the couple and the analyst. It therefore becomes necessary to work on the "place" for thinking thoughts, to work on the container before working on the content, work which assumes an intrinsically aesthetic value. The analyst, as a place in the analytic field, guarantees and safeguards the setting and takes part in the creative process by re-orientating the sense impression and meaning of the relationship. The paper aims at exploring the relationship between commons, resistance strategies and cultural production in Catania through analysing different cases of occupation of spaces for (counter) cultural production and consumption, thus rejecting the commodification logics of the neoliberal "creative city". Resulting from fieldwork, in-depth interviews and document analysis, our research aims at evaluating the overlapping between artistic-cultural reasons and discursive practices inspired by the urban commons and participative democracy, as well as the relations with both institutional actors and the socio-economic and cultural milieu of the city. - Abstract
The paper proposes a contribution to the reflection on the effectiveness of the SEA instrument as a process of environmental sustainability integration in planning choices in general, and, in particular, for some policy areas (adaptation to climate change) characterized by lack of methodological and operational tools. To this end, the experience of the SEA of the Calabria Region Transport Plan is analyzed in the light of the open questions in the international scientific debate. The SEA conducted is described by illustrating the used methodologies in relation to the type of approach adopted in the process. The reflection highlights how, even in the presence of constructive approaches, as defined in the reference literature, the integration of environmental sustainability is not immediately verifiable, since it is postponed to the subsequent implementation phases. This difficulty is even more evident in relation to the application to the policies on adaptation to climate change, an area characterized by the lack, at national and regional level, of well-structured and operationally defined reference instruments. In this case, even if adopting a constructive approach, the achieved result is limited, necessarily, to general indications, typical of a compliance approach with respect to the policy itself. The concept of resilience related to the built environment, thus to urban and territorial scales, counts today a multiplicity of declinations and applications: with respect to these scales, the paper deals with the central role of information for the analysis of fragility and vulnerability and for the development of resilience strategies. Assuming a hierarchical vision of knowledge and considering the current evolution of information technologies, the purpose is to outline innovative knowledge management methods and applications aimed at promoting forms of resilience of social, physical and infrastructural systems. Hitherward, the implications of current technological innovations related to Big Data and IoT (Internet of Things) are also investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Practice Parameter Paper (Morgenthaler et al. 2006) and the Clinical Guideline (Schutte-Rodin et al. 2008) defi ne cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT-I) as the standard treatment of choice for insomnia. The stimulus control technique (Bootzin 1972) and sleep restriction therapy (Spielman, et al. 1987) represent two of the essential components of CBT-I. The former consists of a series of rules having the purpose of reinforcing the association between bed and the act of falling asleep, eliminating some of those activities that can interfere with sleep at the moment of going to bed. The latter aims at restricting the time a patient spends in bed, augmenting, through a state of light sleep deprivation, the “sleep drive” (the push that the patient feels towards falling asleep), regulating and at the same time resynchronising sleep-wake rhythm. This paper intends to guide the reader to the correct application of these two behavioural techniques, illustrating the rationale behind them, providing instructions and examples of implementation and discussing the main obstacles and resistances that we might encounter while treating an insomniac patient. Undergrounds and urban railways have become significant places from a cultural point of view, real distinctive signs of cities and their development. In this context, the Neapolitan capital (Italy) was among the first cities in Europe to understand the importance of building stations with high artistic and architectural standards. The desire to create an impressive infrastructural and architectural project, the strong innovative drive and the vision at the basis of the metro city project have been adopted, over the years, also in the planning of new underground lines such as Line 6. The purpose of this paper was to continue the narration of this visionary design idea by describing one of the most representative new station "Chiaia" of the Line 6, designed by the British artist Peter GREENAWAY. Furthermore, in order to quantify the impact of the Art Metro on the city and its citizens, a mobility survey was also carried out aimed at quantifying the number and type of visitors and tourists of the works of art widely exhibited in the overall Neapolitan metropolitan system. Edoardo Zavattari graduated at Turin University first in Medicine in 1908 and later in Natural Sciences in 1911. His earlier papers dealt with systematics of Hymenoptera but from the beginning he showed a growing interest in tropical biology and in 1913 he specialized in Tropical Medicine in London. After the First World War, he travelled extensively in Europe, the Near East and Africa while holding the chair of Zoology at Pavia University in 1923. His scientific interests met the political wish of the Fascist Regime to expand Italian colonial power in Africa. After several expeditions in Fezzan and other Libyan regions, in 1934 Zavattari published a complete overview of the zoological knowledge of Libya (Prodromo della Fauna della Libia). Starting from 1935 he was director of the Institute of Zoology at Rome University and founded the journal Rivista di Biologia Coloniale. After the conquest of Ethiopia, he led two important biological expeditions - Borana (1937) and Sagan-Omo (1939) in the littleknown southern regions of the country, under the auspices of the Reale Accademia d’Italia - Centro Studi Africa Orientale Italiana. Since 1988 with d.p.r. 448, a regulatory device has been introduced in our country which as inspired and regulates the strategies and policies of intervention in relation to juvenile deviance. For different reasons, criminal welfare is implemented in distinct ways between the regional divisions, producing different local emergencies and different approaches in the case of foreign or indigenous minors. Criticalities also emerge from the regulatory provision whose model of inspiration (juvenile probation) manifests limits and the need for revision. The paper presents the results of a research whose quantitavive-qualitative methodological structure reveals the presence of some perverse effects and the underestimated risk of juvenile recidivism rate with the consequent underestimation of the reproduction of serious deviant models that persist and they spread among young people, especially in many southern regions already characterized by mafia-type criminal embeddednes. - Abstract
This paper is a historical and pedagogical excursus on contemporary education and on the concept of citizenship as conveyed by school practices. It discusses, in light of the evangelic teachings, on living in the global polis with an attitude given by the awareness of responsible civic and democratic belonging during the span of one's life. It also discusses the possibility that the contemporary city (which is also digital polis) may be a place that transforms the individuals through education, towards a renewed humanism, capable of overcoming the new-style obscurantism of the global village. - Abstract
This paper aims to contribute to the reflection on clinical psychological intervention with a psychoanalytic orientation capable of intervening within the most different contexts, while maintaining its specificity. The goal of this contribution is to develop a thought on the psychoanalytic function within the juvenile court and in particular with respect to the role of the juvenile honorary judge. Through an exploration of the context of the juvenile court and the role of the juvenile honorary judge, we intend to build a hypothesis on the possibility, in a context crossed by an individualistic, prescriptive and factual culture, to reintegrate elements of subjectivity, relationship and context; the goal is to deal with the competence of families to manage the events of coexistence and to contain violence, which risks becoming exasperated within the culture of prescriptions. - Abstract
This paper proposes a critical reading of the notion of specific learning disorder (SLD), with a brief excursus of its history and the literature on the subject. Historically, the concept of SLD has the merit of being the foundation for the innovative law 170/10. However, from the outset, this law was incomplete, as it neglets all other special educational needs (SEN). Art. 3 of this law indicates the need to put into place preventive strategies to identify and help, through targeted educational interventions, children at risk of SLD before subjecting them to measurement of their neuro-cognitive characteristics. The preventive strategies outlined in the law replicate, in a reduced way, the strategies of so-called “RTI Method”, therefore they can be advantageously implemented through a more complete integration of the mentioned RTI Method into the school efforts to address SLD problems. This paper presents the first results of the research agreement signed by the Federico II University and CDP Immobiliare concerning reusing and recycling construction waste in the urban regeneration project. The research is aimed to develop a technical protocol for the ex-ante evaluation of the demolition operations, with a special focus on the criteria for picking the material samples to undergo chemical-physical analysis. The article is focused on the demolition process, implementing a BIM-based filing of the building system and aimed at a preliminary understanding of the material quantity, the material consistency and the state of conservation of the elements to be demolished. A tentative pre-characterisation, and an inventory of any contaminants present in the materials are also provided. In the form of discussion, further implications related the building characterisation and the planning of material flows with the reuse and recycle supply chains are provided as well. The circular economy applied to the urban context is linked to sustainability objectives focused on environmental performances overlooking socio-political implications, in order to achieve a circular balance within the neoliberal paradigm of business-nature-society in a continuous growth scenario. This paper discusses this criticality, articulating a counter perspective based on the debate of degrowth, circularity and technology through the analysis of three cases of socio-technical assemblages: Transition Towns; Repair Cafes; Community Gardens. The research individuates the effectiveness of urban practices in which the circularity is implemented beyond purely economic interactions or ecoefficiency parameters, defining the potentialities of a degrowing circular city based on inclusiveness, social justice and reciprocity. INDUSTRY 4.0 , *ENERGY consumption , *SMART cities , *CASE studies , *ENERGY industries , *NEUTRALITY - Abstract
The Green Deal places at the centre of its policies the need to act in order to achieve climate neutrality goals by 2050. In this context, the role of cities and, in particular, of already existing buildings is relevant. Although they are responsible for 40% of energy consumption, only 1% are involved in major restructuring processes. In the context of smart city strategies and to improve their performances, Europe proposes various approaches such as Positive Energy Districts and Industry 4.0. This paper analyses case studies and innovative European projects with the aim of identifying the most relevant strategic actions. Eventually, it presents a real case in the city of Bologna as a basepoint for the reflection proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

REINFORCED concrete buildings , *ABANDONED buildings , *HOUSING development , *PREFABRICATED houses , *WAREHOUSES , *INDUSTRIAL buildings - Abstract
Since the 1970s, in Europe the industrial decommissioning phenomenon has led to the generation of an obsolescent and widespread building stock, located in highly strategic areas. This paper, aiming to make abandoned industrial buildings re-enter the market, focused on the development of prefabricated housing modules, according to the nested-building renovation approach. The project started from the constraint's typological analysis (architectural, functional and structural) of 900 reinforced concrete industrial buildings in view of the intervention replicability. Finally, to validate the design and technological choices, the analysed system was applied to a real case study in Verona: the Greggi Warehouse (1960) in the "ex-Manifattura Tabacchi" factory area. SYSTEMS development , *URBAN growth , *CHANGE theory , *METABOLISM , *CIRCULAR economy - Abstract
The article presents the results of the research activity carried out within the framework of the European project H2020 REFLOW, which aims to build an integrated approach for the development of innovative participatory practices dedicated to urban circular metabolisms. As a result of the survey conducted on the application of collaborative models for the urban circular economy, it emerged that there is no shared operational strategy that can be adopted for the circular development of complex systems, such as cities. Based on this premise, this paper offers a new perspective on how to build and validate a transitional pathway for the development of circular cities through the adoption of a design-oriented approach that orchestrates different resources and capacities. This article is derived from a feasibility study for a single-story elevation at the Kent School of Architecture and Planning (KSAP) in the United Kingdom. This project embraced two fundamental principles of the circular economy: flexibility of interior spaces and Design for Disassembly (DfD). The goals were to reduce the risk of demolition and preserve the value of the building material to empower its later use. These principles formed the solution for the structural frame. For this paper, the engineering phase was carried out to improve the structural connections designed according to DfD principles and following generative design methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

INDUSTRIAL ecology , *MANUFACTURING processes , *RAW materials , *REDUCTION potential , *SUPPLY chains - Abstract
For years, the building sector has been marked by the progressive exploitation of raw materials and the growing production of waste. The product and process innovations, based on waste valorisation starting from their geographical location and identification, prefigure potential reductions of environmental impacts. This paper presents the methodology and findings of the mapping of waste from construction and manufacturing processes, carried out in Sardinia to identify possible scenarios of valorisation. The geographical location of waste production both in construction and manufacturing processes, along with their possible reuse, have allowed the definition of some supply chains which are able to process their own waste, according to industrial symbiosis scenarios. . Crisis contexts such as the MENA region allow us to envision effective scenarios of sustainable development based on local production systems supported by digital innovation. The constant exchange of know-how between the MENA area and the European continent represents a fundamental tool in which processes of technology transfer help to accelerate the transformation processes currently underway and make them more effective. This paper investigates the effectiveness of using local resources for producing building components by means of innovative technologies based on circular economy processes. The objective of this analysis is to evaluate the possibilities of transferring enabling technologies from the Italian context to that of MENA as a tool for economic reactivation directed towards circularity. PHENOLOGY , *SPECIES , *BIRD migration , *PLANT phenology - Abstract
Conceived by the National Ringing Centre ISPRA and MUSE (Trento, formerly MTSN), the Alps Project was launched in 1997 in order to understand the post-breeding migration strategies of birds across the Italian Alps. The project is realized thanks to the support offered by MUSE and several institutions at a local scale, not to mention the collaboration of over one hundred ringers. In more than twenty years, 40 stations located in sites of passage (alpine and pre-alpine passes) and stop-over (valley floors and slopes) have taken part in the project, leading to a dataset of 666,471 ringed individuals and 191 species (as to 2017). After a first exploratory phase (1997-2002), in which the migration was investigated in its many aspects of specific composition and spatial-temporal variation, the project has been restricted to a smaller number of stations since 2007. Those stations are characterized by working in a standardized and continuous way during the whole period (August-November) or during the migration period of the intra-Palearctic species (end of September-October). In this paper we describe the aims, protocols and organizational aspects of the project, with a special focus on monitoring trends and changes in the long-term phenology. This ongoing project (2021) is part of the ISPRA national ringing plan to monitor bird migration across the country. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

COMMON good , *RURAL schools , *TECHNOCRACY , *COMMUNITY life , *SCHOOL rankings , *AWARENESS - Abstract
In the encyclical Laudato si' the strong call to recognize "the human root of the ecological crisis", namely the cause of the "awry way of understanding human life and action", focuses on "the dominant technocratic paradigm". With this paper I intend to point out the undue transformation of technology into domination and one-dimensionality, proposing to go to the Greek roots, from whose language the words 'technology' and 'technocracy' come. The senses by which the word 'techne' was ordinarily used, are indeed articulated starting from the awareness of the community dimension of life, in which man can overcome his own weaknesses and lacks, developing the potentialities of each one for the common good and the plurality of the ways of actualization, on condition of acquiring knowledge by learning-teaching. In the proposal to recover the Greek notion of techne, highlighting its plural, collective and didactic character, I also qualify it as 'Aristotelian', to emphasize two provisions, given by the teachers of the first philosophical schools, Plato and then Aristotle: knowledge is said to be acquired by techne provided that from those who are able 1) to give explanations and 2) to indicate the ultimate goal, where the concepts of true, good and beautiful converge in the dimension of sophia. In the context of a society which is no longer accustomed to consider sorrow and has repressed the occurrence of death, the author proposes to read the pandemic in light of an anthropology of fragility. Crucially, the paper highlights the fact that such a vulnerability can be understood as a condition not to be overcome in view of a return to the pre-pandemic state of affairs, but rather as a possibility to foster a new kind of society which discards omnipotence and practices proximity. FAKE news , *SOCIAL networks , *MISINFORMATION , *INTERNET - Abstract
Deliberative democratic processes are threatened by the intentional large-scale misinformation that is spread through the internet and the social networks, which have significantly increased the risk of the electoral manipulation of public opinion. Any good specialist can manage at present the emotions of millions of people to place them at the service of their own interests. Member states of the European Union are organised and collaborate in order to fight against this type of misinformation. This paper analyses how far law can and must react to fake news, evaluating the scope, the nature, the content and protected legal asset of "the right not to be deceived". [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

EUROPEAN integration , *CONSTITUTIONAL reform , *POLITICAL autonomy , *FINANCIAL crises , *REGIONALISM , *REGIONAL differences - Abstract
After some hints, also of a methodological nature, on the evolutionary problems of regionalism in the first post-war republican period, the article analyzes some of the problems of the distribution of powers in the light of the twenty years following the constitutional reforms of Title V. This analysis will also be made in a comparative perspective with the homologous forms of territorial decentralization of the powers that can be observed in the European states with a regional and federal form. In conclusion, the paper will question the new relationships created between regional political autonomy, the impact of the economic crisis, European integration, and issues of the effectiveness of rights, above all (social but not only). - Abstract
The global health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has also influenced the linguistic-communicative level, both with respect to the language of the media and in terms of the strategies and choices adopted by decision-makers, governments, health authorities, etc., to address the population with information about regulations aimed at behaviors to deal with the moment of danger. In this article, we continue along the line of our previous paper (see Matticchio, Melchior 2021), in which we briefly analysed the information in Italian published on the official websites of the bilingual institutions of the Istrian Region. After a first introduction to the official bilingualim in the Istrian county, we will focus on the Italian of the pandemic by analysing possible divergent (lexical) choices in the Italian of Istria, trying, as far as possible, to understand whether they are due to the influence of Croatian or to other reasons.
