Objective: Spontaneous reperfusion (SR) presence and a low PREdicting bleeding Complications In patients undergoing Stent implantation and subsEquent Dual Anti Platelet Therapy (PRECISE-DAPT) score in patients with acute coronary syndrome have been associated with favorable clinical outcomes. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between SR and this score. Methods: The study included 436 patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) III blood flow presence in the infarct-related artery (IRA) before primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) was defined as SR. Patients were categorized into two groups based on the presence (n = 49) or absence (n = 387) of SR. The PRECISE-DAPT score was computed for each patient using the web-based calculator. Results: The group with SR had a lower frequency of hyperlipidemia and a higher ejection fraction (EF) at admission. Conversely, the group without SR presented with higher values of glucose, troponin, creatine kinase-myocardial band (CK-MB), and PRECISE-DAPT score. The no-reflow phenomenon and elevated SYNergy between PCI with TAXUS and Cardiac Surgery (SYNTAX-I) scores were higher in the group without SR than in the one with SR. Multivariate regression analysis indicated that a high PRECISE-DAPT score was an independent predictor of the absence of SR (odds ratio: 0.96, P = 0.04). Conclusion: The PRECISE-DAPT score is an independent predictor of the presence of spontaneous reperfusion in patients who experienced STEMI. This study follows a relational survey model in its aim to examine the daily habits, social capital, and life-satisfaction levels of 2472 high school and university students. Data were collected using the Social Capital Scale, Daily Habits Scale, and Life-Satisfaction Scale. In addition to descriptive statistics, we used correlation and regression analyses to inspect the data we obtained. The findings reveal that students' daily habits have a positive strong effect on their social capital levels. Daily academic activities and online activities had an adverse effect on students' life-satisfaction levels. These findings draw attention to the shortcomings of the education system in terms of facilitating socialization and happiness, which are the two main priorities of the education system, as it reveals that academic activities cannot make a positive contribution to the social capital and life satisfaction of the students. Accordingly, we recommend that daily life habits should be considered as a student-centered, important and practical intervention field in order to imrove students' social capital and life satisfaction levels. grade "Force and Energy" chapter within the framework of the science course, 2018 curriculum. For this purpose, 34 multiple-choice items were prepared whereby the information in the learning outcomes in the force and energy chapter in the curriculum would be measured mostly with high-level cognitive processes. The application study of the test was conducted with 144 students studying in the 2018-2019 academic year. Necessary corrections were made based on opinions of field experts to establish clarity of the test items, sufficiency of time, and scientific accuracy of the information in the items. Item discrimination and item difficulty indices for each item were calculated according to the answers collected after the application of the test. After the item analysis, 12 items were removed from the test and the Force and Energy Achievement Test including 22 questions was prepared. The mean item difficulty of the Force and Energy Achievement Test was calculated as 0.41 and the mean item discrimination as 0.39. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the present study we aim to develop a model that focuses on identifying factors which influence the parent-adolescent relationship. We use the structural equation model to test this model. In the study, among the variables affecting parent-adolescent relationship spousal support, sibling relations, peer relationships, and parental selfefficacy variables are discussed on the basis of an ecological approach. The sample consisted of 391 adolescents aged between 14-17 years and their parents (n=782). The results show that spousal support, peer relationships, and sibling relationships have a positive effect on the parent-adolescent relationship, while parental self-efficacy has a negative effect on the parent-adolescent relationship. Furthermore, parental selfefficacy affects the parent-adolescent relationship with the mediating role of sibling relationships. As a result of these findings, it can be stated that variables that were determined on the basis of the ecological system approach have both direct and indirect effects on the parent-adolescent relationship. We suggest that these variables may be used at intervention programs on relationship in further research, and parents' and adolescents' opinions about their relationships may be further examined by way of qualitative methods. There are many factors that affect the attitudes and behaviors of human beings, which have a very complex structure. However, mainstream economic theories have ignored other characteristics, including the role of emotions, by assuming that human beings are "rational" in the economic decision-making process. Although this assumption is actually controversial, it still maintains its strong established position in economic theories. In the study, the history of economic rationality and the objections developed against the rational individual were examined, and whether emotions affect the economic decision-making process was analyzed with a hypothetical experimental study, first based on observation, and then subjected to the Mann Whitney U test. According to the findings, it was determined that people are also affected by their feelings that they do not act solely on the assumption of rationality in the economic decision-making process. Although many studies have been conducted on the morphological variations and its effects on flotation recoveries of a single mineral system, a systematic study for the flotation behavior of mixtures of minerals has not dwelled much. In this study, th flotation behavior of chromite and serpentine minerals was investigated to distinguish and isolate the contribution of morphology in single and binary systems. For this purpose, the shape analyses for the minerals ground as single and mixture were performed, and their flotation behaviors determined with the micro-flotation experiments. Additionally, the zeta potential measurements were carried out in the presence of sodium oleate as a collector. The shape analysis of the ground samples showed that while the roundness values of chromite and serpentine (gangue) minerals as single were quite different, the particle shape of chromite favored serpentine in the mixture system which in turn suggested that the mineral with the high hardness value dominates the shape characteristics in binary grinding conditions. Accordingly, while the flotation characteristics of chromite in the mixture followed the same trend with the flotation of a single chromite system as a function of particle shape, almost a reverse trend was obtained for the shape and flotation of serpentine in the mixture compared to a single serpentine system. Thus, at roundness values of chromite particles from 0.797 to 0.732, the flotation recoveries of chromite in the mixture increased from 51.0% to 75.4%. On the other hand, likewise chromite, the flotation recoveries of serpentine increased from 20.0% to 37.3% proportional to the roundness range of 0.757 and 0.709. These findings in turn showed that the grinding conditions dictate the soft component to be monitored by the harder and denser component which dominates the angularity and floatability of the mixture. Computational thinking has regained attention of academicians, politicians and educators in recent years. Stakeholders with different perspectives have considered how to help students develop computational thinking skills. It is important to measure whether a concept, skill or knowledge has been developed or not. The aim of this study is to adapt the computational thinking test developed in Spanish to Turkish. Firstly, computational thinking test was translated into Turkish and evaluated by experts. Secondly, the test was then translated back to Spanish, and the initial version and the back translated version was compared and then the translation process was completed. Lastly, the Turkish version of computational thinking test was administered to middle school students and evaluated for item difficulty, item discrimination and internal consistency. As a result of these analyzes, the test, which had 28 items in Spanish, was reduced to 24 items. The scores obtained from the test were evaluated in terms of gender and grade level. The test scores did not show a statistically significant difference in terms of gender. There was no significant difference in (i) fifth and sixth grade students and (ii) seventh and eighth grade students in terms of students' computational thinking scores. However, a significant difference was found between these two groups (5-6 and 7-8). Computational thinking test can be used by researchers and educators in their studies and for their teaching. Work processes in tourism sector are performed by close relationships and interactions among the personnel and tourists. In the related literature, in spite of numerous studies about the personnel and tourists' interactions in different fields of tourism sector, number of the research that investigates the interactions of the personnel and tourists in tours is still limited. The aim of the study is to attempt to determine by CIT, the satisfactory/dissatisfactory experiences of the tourists who joined local tours in Nevşehir. With this purpose, 184 critical incidents were collected by open-ended style questionnaire from tourists. These incidents were categorized as satisfactory and dissatisfactory critical incidents. In this way, it was attempted to measure the current quality conditions of the travel agencies in the region and to identify the service fault. The purpose of this research is to present the problems in Turkish education system from the perspectives of the educators involved within. The research is a phenomenological study. The study group is composed of 41 participants including teachers, school principals, deputy principals, educational inspectors and branch directors who study at Gaziantep University's Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics non-thesis master's program. The data was collected via "Form of Thematic Problems" and analyzed with the content analysis method. The research set forth the problems related to teachers, students, administrators, parents, physical substructure, financing and curriculum which represent the inputs of Turkish education system. The participants reported deficiencies and problems regarding each of these components. Analysis of data point to main problems with regard to teacher qualification, teacher professional development, job assignment and financial difficulties, working conditions; intense exam pressure, student discipline problems; socioeconomic level of families; assignment and training of administrators, management skills of administrators; school-parent relationships, parental involvement; the physical location, architectural structure and elements of school buildings; school budget, ignorance of regional differences regarding curricula documents, content-related issues, and teachers' familiarity of the programs. The aim of this study is to examine the preservice social studies teachers' evaluations on the effect of the oral history method in value education. The research was conducted by using the phenomenological method, and in the research, a descriptive transcendental phenomenological approach was adopted. The participants of the study consisted of 10 students studying in the social studies teaching department in the 2017-2018 academic year. 6 of the participants were male and 4 were female. The criteria used in the study, in which the participants were determined by the criterion sampling technique, were to be a student of the department of social studies teaching, to have successfully completed "the courses of values education" and "oral history practices in the teaching of social studies" and to volunteer to participate. In the study conducted with semistructured interview technique, the obtained data were analysed by thematic analysis technique. NVivo 9 program was used to present the obtained data with graphs and figures. As a result of the thematic analysis of the data, the evaluations of the participants were gathered under two themes as "Empathy Development" and "Responsibility". Regarding "Empathy Development", 'savings', 'sensitivity to cultural heritage', 'patriotism', 'helpfulness', 'giving importance to family unity', 'solidarity', 'sensitivity to natural environment', 'respect: professional respect', 'professional ethics' codes have formed it. According to the findings, the oral history method has a positive effect on value education.
