Rocky massifs are defined as a set of juxtaposed and articulated blocks of rock, limited for the discontinuity plans (fractures, joints, failures and foliations), whose families directly affect the appearance of the massifs in terms of alternative open pit mine planning. Aerophotogrammetry employed at work for the using UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) was adequate to assist in the information acquired with the capture of aerial images and lifting the scan face, on the north and east benches of a quarry for the production of aggregates for civil construction located in the forest area of the state of Pernambuco. After creating the model, with the aid of a CAD tool and the diagnosis of the most highlighted fractures, with descriptive statistical analysis, stereographic projections through the wulff net and and the Rosette Diagram of the discontinuity plans, the partition blocks of the north and east benches of the studied massif were interpreted. The use of vant at the paper, increased the level the work the treatment of data collected from scan face and provided the identification of the partition blocks, as well as other areas of weakness in the massif, that enable possible changes in the interpretation of engineering projects. This thesis aims to study of the fundamental properties of the dynamical systems focusing our attention on the Anosov diffeomorphism of class C2. We will make observations about relevant characteristics of this class of diffeomorphism, being our main result that these diffeomorphisms are ergodic. The proof of the ergodicity of Anosov diffeomorphismos will be made from a geometric analysis using the Hopf argument showing first the existence and absolute continuity of the stable and unstable foliations, and then using Hopf¿s argument to conclude the ergodicity of Anosov¿s difemorphisms Mestrado Matemática Mestra em Matemática FAEPEX 2242/17

We study the effective behavior of a small transversal perturbation . An estimate of the rate of convergence is given. In the second chapter, an average principle is shown to hold such that the component transversal to the leaves converges to the solution of a deterministic ODE . After that, in the third chapter, we generalize the principle established for continuous semimartingales to Lévy diffusions containing a jump component. We give upper bounds for the rates of convergence and illustrate these results for the random rotations on the circle Mestrado Matemática Mestre em Matemática CNPQ 134552/2016-4

This work aims at presenting some recent results on the theory of polar foliations, also know as singular riemannian foliations with sections, on nonpositively curved manifolds, as seen in T oben [24]. Polar actions are also studied, for they are active research subject that motivate and illustrate polar foliations. We give a proof of the nonexistence of proper polar foliations on compact manifolds of nonpositive curvature. Then we present a result that globally describes proper polar foliations on Hadamard manifolds. We prove this same result in the special case of polar actions by using the theory of taut submanifolds. The adjoint and conjugation actions are brie y presented as classical examples of polar actions.

We consider a family of compatible Feller semigroups in C(Mn) associated to laws of the n-point motion. Under some assumptions (Le Jan and Raimond [34]) there exists a stochastic flow of measurable mappings in M. We study the degeneracy of these semigroups such that the flow of mappings is foliated, i.e. each trajectory lays in a single leaf of the foliation a.s, hence creating a geometrical obstruction for coalescence of trajectories in different leaves. As an application, an averaging principle is proved for a first order perturbation transversal to the leaves. Estimates for the rate of convergence are calculated Doutorado Matemática Doutor em Matemática

Finalmente apresentamos alguns exemplos Abstract: In this thesis, we study the averaging principle for stochastic differential equations on foliated manifolds with compact leaves. We begin by introducing the averaging principle over real ordinary differential equations. For comparison we will review basic concepts of symplectic manifold in order to compare/extend the results obtained by Xue-Mei Li about a averaging principle for a completely integrable stochastic Hamiltonian system. Our main result is to generalize these ideas to the case of a manifold M = (-a; a)n x N, where N is a compact manifold without boundary. In particular our results show for the case that foliation is generated by an submersion of M over Rn. Finally we present some examples Doutorado Matemática Doutor em Matemática
