This paper calls for the creation of specialized therapy that focuses on Women's Health within the context of Positive Psychotherapy. Often, women's mental health needs are overlooked in current mental health care systems, making it clear that there is a need for therapeutic approaches that take into account the intersection of gender and other important factors. By combining the principles of Positive Psychotherapy with a focus on Women's Health, this paper suggests a comprehensive and empowering framework for tackling women's mental health issues. The paper delves into the background of women's mental health needs and identifies the gaps in the existing mental health care systems. It highlights how crucial it is to have specialized treatments that understand and address the unique needs and experiences of women. It also calls for training more specialists in Women's Health and Positive Psychotherapy to bridge the gap in gender-specific mental health services.

War brings destruction in the broader sense, forcing millions to flee their homes, and resulting in an increased burden of depression, anxiety, PTSD and other mental and behavioral disorders. This burden grows even more in the framework of pandemics and natural disasters, as social and protection services experience crisis of resources. Providing one-to-one mental health care is no longer feasible for masses of refugee and internally displaced children and adults who need support, and, as a result, the need to have increasing numbers of mental health specialists who intervene in groups becomes more and more emergent. The paper reviews the Positum MGS approach to work with groups of children and adults in refugee settings, and not only, suggests the ‘Positum MGS coaching protocol’ within the framework of group Positive Psychotherapy (PPT after Peseschkian, since 1977)TM. Empirically supported and demonstrated by a case in the paper, the protocol being applied by a Positum MGS trainer or team of trainers, during an in-person training of 4-5 days, helps trainees greatly in learning to use psychosocial transcultural games and related techniques as resilience-building tools with groups of children, adolescents or adults. Either in the position of PPT trainers, psychotherapists, consultants or students, the participants in a Positum MGS core training and coaching or PPT training at basic or master levels with a focus of working with groups, can be supported through the suggested coaching protocol and questions in line with the 5-stage consultation of PPT.

The paper presents the results of the initial adaptation and validation of the «The Process of Retirement Planning Scale» questionnaire, developed by a team of New Zealand scientists. Verification of the reliability and discriminativeness of the questionnaire subscales, gender differences and the model of retirement preparation were performed on a sample of 337 respondents (43 to 65 years old). Convergent validity was checked on a sample of 202 respondents (45 to 63 years old). Results showed that questionnaire has good psychometric measures and preserve 4-component model of retirement preparedness on a sample of Russian pre-retirees. Final version of questionnaire includes 35 items divided into 4 subscales and has a high degree of reliability-consistency: «Retirement representations» (Cronbach's alpha = 0,933), «Retirement goals» (Cronbach's alpha = 0.862), «The decision to prepare for retirement» (Cronbach's alpha = 0.855), «Preparing for retirement» (Cronbach's alpha = 0.854). «The Process of Retirement Planning Scale» is a reliable instrument measuring the stages of the process under study and can be used in psychological studies of pre-retirement planning.

In the digital age, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supervisory practices in psychotherapy presents new opportunities for enhancing service quality and accessibility, especially in regions with limited supervisory resources. This paper examines the application of AI tools, such as text-based neural networks in supporting mental health professionals by assisting in case analysis, generating metaphors, and developing therapeutic techniques, thus facilitating more comprehensive and accessible supervision. The rresults indicated great convenience and positive effectiveness of AI in supervision. The findings suggest that AI can significantly enhance the supervisory experience by providing dynamic, context-aware support, though perceptions of effectiveness vary. The implications for future research include the need for further development of AI functionalities, ethical considerations, and integration of diverse psychotherapeutic approaches to meet the evolving professional needs of psychotherapists.

Background. Project activities in kindergarten are an urgent area that meets modern educational standards and contributes to the comprehensive development of children. This type of activity is aimed at developing creative abilities, critical thinking, the ability to analyze information and interact with peers. Project activities in kindergarten opens up broad opportunities for the development of a child’s personality, helps children become more independent, self-confident and ready to solve complex problems. Objective. To develop and integrate into the educational process a series of cultural heritage events aimed at the development of children of early and preschool age. Sampling. The Golden Pedagogical Ring project, which lasted for 19 months, involved 386 children aged 2 to 7 years fr om 24 early and preschool age groups of kindergartens of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Preschool Educational Organization “MIR DETSTVA”. The working group conducted observations before the start of the project and during its implementation. More than 400 protocols of observations and analysis of activities conducted with children and teachers were compiled and analyzed. Methods. The main research method was the observation of children and teachers, which were carried out according to the methods of N.A. Korotkova, P.G. Nezhnova, L.S. Vakulenko, A.K. Zolotova, E.V. Shakirova, Yu.A. Afonkina, etc. For the analysis of classes and other events, the developments of N.N. Gladysheva, A.A. Boyko, N.S. Astafieva and others were used. SWOT analysis, Pareto analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), “Cause and Effect Tree“ were also used. Results. More than 150 author’s classes and other methods, visual and didactic material (50 manuals) were developed. A card index of literature was also formed, including more than 50 titles. More than 200 events have been organized and conducted for children in 7 preschool institutions. As part of the work with children, exhibitions of creativity were organized in each branch, wh ere drawings, crafts, sculptures, creative paper panels and other creative fantasies of children were presented. In total, more than 20 such exhibitions were held. There are also more than 25 events organized with the parents of the pupils. 7 interesting programs have been developed for the mini-museum. Conclusions. The unique network project “Golden Pedagogical Ring” is a significant initiative that promotes the development of children and awakens their interest in the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. The methodological material can be used in Russian preschool educational organizations and is easily adapted to the main educational program of the institution.

This manuscript presents a protocol designed for the comprehensive investigation of early life stress (ELS) outcomes and a feasibility study conducted with this protocol. ELS alters normal development by interfering at various levels: hormonal changes, brain cellular architecture, epigenome, and chromosomal structural elements. The protocol combines classic behavioral tests with advanced molecular techniques to obtain comprehensive data and thus uncover the underlying mechanisms of ELS. In this protocol, the main source of stress is maternal separation. Briefly, a group of C57Bl/6 mice undergoes maternal separation; then, mice perform the radial maze test and the resident-intruder test. As a control, another group of mice stays undisturbed and performs the same behavioral tests in the same timeframe. After the behavioral tests, biosamples are collected, including urine for corticosterone measurements, peripheral blood, hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex tissues for DNA isolation and its downstream analyses (DNA methylation profiling and telomere length measuring), and whole brains for immunohistochemistry analysis of the glucocorticoid receptor density. This protocol was successfully tested as a feasibility study for a large-scale investigation that addresses potential flaws to establish a robust methodology. This paper reports on a comprehensive approach to examining multiple aspects of development that interrogates a holistic analysis of multilayer and multidimensional data and may contribute valuable insights for both animal and human studies.

This paper describes the procedure of developing and standardizing the Russian-language online emotional intelligence (EI) test for adolescents aged 10-17 years (EIT-A) in two versions: for younger and older adolescents. The test was developed on the basis of the EI ability model by J. Mayer, P. Salovey, and D. Caruso. Psychometric testing of the test was carried out on 1491 adolescents, students of schools in Moscow and other cities of Russia: 735 respondents aged between 10 and 13 years old (341 boys, 394 girls), mean age - 12.2 years, and 756 respondents aged between 14 and 17 years old (271 boys, 485 girls), mean age - 15.6 years. The analysis showed high reliability of the EIT-A method. The confirmatory factor analysis results indicate the methodology's high structural validity. Its reliability-consistency (Cronbach's Alpha) for the version for the 10-13-year-olds was 0.93, and for the version for the 14-17-year-olds — 0.91. The theoretical validity of the EIT-A method was confirmed: it measures the same construct as the Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test-Youth Research Version (MSCEIT-YRV), adapted to the Russian-language sample - a test by J. Mayer, P. Salovey, and D. Caruso to assess the EI of adolescents, which has a strong psychometric history. The data obtained provide a basis for using the Russian EIT-A test for research and applied purposes as a reliable methodological tool.

Objective. The study of socio-psychological predictors of the perceived age of adults aged 35 to 75 years.Background. The relevance of the work is determined by the interdisciplinary status of the phenomenon of perceived age (the phenomenon of social cognition and the result of the influence of numerous factors associated with predicting the risk of death) in modern science and the need to determine the influence of socio-psychological factors on the perceived age of a person at the stage of "maturity" and "old age". Study design. Photographs of perceptual objects previously tested using a block of techniques were shown to perceptual subjects ("evaluators") to assess their age, the arithmetic mean of the estimates corresponded to the perceived age of the study participants. Next, a list of possible predictors was compiled, to which multiple regression analysis (step-by-step method) was applied. Participants. 523 people (207 men and 316 women) aged 35 to 75 years took part in the study as objects of perception; 140 people acted as subjects of perception ("evaluators") in various rounds of presenting photographs to assess the age of objects of perception. The sample was divided into subgroups of "mature" (age 35-59 years, 368 people, 142 men and 226 women, M = 49 years) and "elderly" (age 60-75 years, 155 people, 65 men and 90 women, M = 65 years). Measurements. The procedure of "Photovideopresentation of appearance" by T.A. Vorontsova; the questionnaire "Self-assessment of age" by T.A. Vorontsova; a set of techniques developed by V.A. Labunskaya for the diagnosis of attitude to one's appearance. Results. The paper identifies socio-psychological predictors of a person's perceived age at the age stages of "maturity" and "old age": subjective age, the importance of appearance, integral assessment of appearance, assessment of appearance by the mother, the need to look younger than their years, economic status. Regression models were compiled separately on male/female subsamples, as well as adults aged 35-59 and 60-75 years. It was found that the regression model built on the data of elderly study participants (from 60 to 75 years old), which included a combination of predictors "significance of appearance", "satisfaction with appearance" and "planned life expectancy", has the greatest predictive value. It is also shown that the behavioral component of the attitude to one's appearance (the severity of appearance-perfectionism) does not affect the indicator of the difference between chronological and perceived age ("saved years").Conclusions. The combination of socio-psychological predictors of perceived age varies depending on gender and age stage of life. Universal and gender-specific predictors of perceived age have been identified. The universal predictor, regardless of gender and age stage of life, is the importance of appearance.

The content of the article consists of the results of the theoretical analysis of scientific research, the authors of which focus on the problem of identifying signs of the involvement of law enforcement officers in corruption crimes and the practices of interaction with former law enforcement officers convicted of corruption crimes. The paper identifies groups of causes of corrupt behavior, through the prism of which the specific features of the professional activities of law enforcement officers and, in more detail, employees of the penitentiary system, contributing to such unlawful behavior, are analyzed. It is also noted that there is a similarity of former employees (corrupt criminals) in terms of destructive deviations with former employees of the penitentiary system convicted of common crimes. The authors pay special attention to such a personal quality as empathy. The article substantiates the need to consider empathy in the context of other personality traits as one of the signs indicating the presence of risks of corrupt behavior.

Preserving the full life of an elderly person as the most vulnerable category of the population in times of armed conflict raises many methodological, theoretical, and practical issues for scholars. The article is an attempt at a problematic and reflective analysis of the heuristic nature of the concept of successful ageing for the study of ageing of elderly Ukrainians in the context of the war with Russia. The paper presents a problem-oriented review of contemporary Western literature on successful ageing. In addition to the basic empirical and theoretical works, a significant part of the theoretical analysis is based on the results of the most significant meta-analytical studies on this topic. The methodology of problem-oriented and integrative analysis was used to determine which problem areas of the concept of successful ageing can contribute to its study in wartime. The potential and limitations of the modern concept of successful ageing are considered. Eight problem areas of this concept are presented, which reveal certain contradictions, debatable issues, and gaps, which are simultaneously directions for the development of both the concept itself and its research in the context of war. Among them: vagueness of the criteria for successful ageing and its dilution with similar concepts; interaction of biomedical and psychosocial contexts of successful ageing; limits of responsibility for the success of ageing in the context of the “person – society” dichotomy; socio-structural inequalities between older people and the inability to age equally “successfully”; discrepancies between subjective and objective indicators of successful ageing; dominance of the Western model of successful ageing and levelling of its cultural specificity; integration of individual, social and scientific conceptualization of successful ageing. The author analyses the most promising theoretical and methodological concepts and theories of successful ageing that are most relevant to the problem of ageing in war. The literature review presented in the article will help to draw attention to the problem of improving and preserving the full life of an elderly person in the context of armed conflict. The results of the research will be useful to scholars and practitioners for the further development of programmes to protect the mental and physical health of older people in war

The active development of eye-tracking, that is, recording of eye movements, gives opportunities for the creation of new approaches to the improving of cognitive functions and learning. Eye-tracking based methods can be useful not only for children with impaired motor and speech functions, but also for children with attention disorders, since gaze control is closely related to attention. Feedback from the gaze accuracy can improve the effectiveness of attention training techniques. In this paper, we describe studies of the effectiveness of the use of correctional techniques based on eye-tracking in infants (healthy group and groups with various risks for cognitive impairment) and in children with developmental disorders (autism, Rett syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). In almost all of the studies reviewed, positive effects of training were observed, i. e. both the productivity of the tasks performance and sustained attention were improved. A number of studies have revealed the transfer of the training effect to untrained functions, which is an important indicator of the effectiveness of correction techniques. All this indicates the perspective of development in this direction. However, much work is to be done, such as selecting and creating the most effective tasks, determining the optimal frequency and duration of training for different clinical groups.

This paper reviews several studies on depressive tendencies among adolescents in some regions of China (Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province, Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province, rural Yueyang County in Hunan Province, inner-city Beijing, and suburban Beijing), and evaluates scientificity of research processes as well as the validity of several depression questionnaires, including the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D), the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II-C), the Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), and Patient Health Questionnaire 2-item Depression Screen (PHQ-2-C) of adolescents. It also examines the shortcomings of multiple depression questionnaires in assessing depression among teenagers in various regions, as well as the causes behind them, taking into consideration regional differences in economic and educational development. It was concluded that when used with adolescents across China, each of the depression scales produced good results, that the CES-D is more sensitive to gender differences in adolescent depression than the SDS and BDI-II-C.

This article examines the relationship of self-esteem with perseverance, optimism, activity and responsibility. The authors analyzed the scientific literature in order to further explore self-esteem for its improvement. The relevance of this study is determined by the fact that self-esteem forms an idea of oneself, is an important regulator of behavior and affects all spheres of personal life. It determines the quality of life, efficiency and self-realization of the individual. The purpose of this study is to examine the features of self-esteem, the relationship with persistence and determine its socio-psychological factors. The study involved 200 students aged 18 to 23 years from six universities in Kazakhstan. Five diagnostic techniques were used: Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale; Optimism and Activity Scale, AOS; Carver-White questionnaire, BIS/BAS; Locus of Control Survey (Rotter); Hexaco PI-R60 questionnaire. The results of the conducted research showed the relationship of self-esteem with such indicators as optimism and activity, sociability and responsibility. The influence on self-esteem of factors such as sports, self-belief, parental support, satisfaction with appearance and studies, academic performance, suicidal thoughts and loneliness. According to the empirical analysis, the tendency of respondents to overestimate their self-esteem was found. The paper discussed the characteristics of students their values and other indicators. The study showed that 23.5% of students feel lonely, almost the same number of students think about suicide. Thus, this study provides new knowledge about self-esteem and its relationship with other psychological factors. It contributed to the understanding of the role of self-esteem in the formation of self-image and personality behavior, and is also of practical value for the development of psychological programs and techniques for working with students' self-esteem.
