This article emphasizes the need for speakers and presenters at the 1997 convention of the Speech Communication Association (SCA) in Chicago, Illinois to submit their convention papers to the Paper Distribution Center (PDC). By most accounts, the PDC at the 1996 convention of the SCA was successful. There were SCA members who, as the sole representatives of their school districts, purchased many papers to take home to their colleagues; they were pleased to take advantage of the variety and availability of the presenters' efforts.
