This national colors flag was used as a flank marker by the 126th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The flag has thirteen alternating red and white stripes and thirty-four white applique stars on a blue canton. The stars are arranged in a rectilinear pattern, with four rows of seven stars and a middle row of six stars.

This blue rectangular flag served as the regimental colors of the 12th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The United States arms is embroidered in the center of the flag. The arms consists of a bald eagle holding a bundle of arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right talon. The eagle holds in its beak a scroll with the motto "E Pluribus Unum." On the eagle's chest is a shield with red and white stripes. 13 embroidered gold stars and 40 rays are placed above the arms. A cloud has been placed among the rays that contains the words "CARNIFEX FERRY, BULL RUN BRID ". The text "Aug. 27th 1862" begins on the left of the arms, near the top of the eagle's wings, and continues on the right of the arms. The text "Presented by the 'Citizens' of Warren County, Ohio" begins on the left of the arms, near the bottom of the eagle's wings, and continues on the right of the arms. The text "TO THE" appears directly below the arms. Below that, in a gold outlined scroll, is the text "12th REGIMENT O.V.I.U.S.A." The flag's gold-knotted fringe is 4 cm in length

Nine gold stars remain intact in a double-arc pattern above the arms (due to deterioration some stars have been lost). Above the stars are gray painted clouds with gold painted rays extending upwards from the clouds. Below the arms in a gold-outlined banner is the text: "30TH REGIMENT ... ". To the left of the arms is faded red text that reads: "CARNIFEX FERRY / SOUTH MOUNTAIN / ANTIETAM / VICKSBURG / ... ". Some of the text is no longer legible or intact due to deterioration. A light red scroll is positioned above the arms with the motto "E Pluribus Unum" in gold lettering. Gold painted stars are arranged in a double-arc pattern above the arms. Twenty seven stars are still in tact, but some are missing. A red banner with gold lettering is positioned under the arms. The text "[O]HIO VOLS" is still in tact, but some of the text is no longer legible. The flag has braided and knotted gold silk fringe 5 cm in length on its top, right, and bottom sides. - Abstract
This flag served as the national colors of the 66th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The flag has thirty-five gold painted stars on a blue canton measuring 74 cm wide by 100 cm high. The stars are arranged in two concentric ovals surrounding one middle star. There is also one star in each of the canton's four corners. The flag's thirteen alternating red and white stripes are pieced and measure 14 cm high. The flag has gold, plied fringe with knotted cut ends measuring 6 cm in length on its top, right, and bottom sides.

- Abstract
This flag served as the national colors of the 122nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Within the flag's blue canton is the outline of an eagle turned vertically with wings spread. It appears that the canton also contained a number of stars. The stars and the eagle have deteriorated significantly. The flag has 13 alternating red and white stripes, as well as blue and white ties on its left side. Much of the flag has deteriorated.

This blue rectangular flag served as the regimental colors of the 122nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The United States arms is painted in the flag's center. The arms consists of a bald eagle holding a bundle of arrows in his left talon and an olive branch in his right. In the eagle's beak is a scroll with the motto "E Pluribus Unum," and on his chest is a shield with red and white stripes. 35 gold painted stars are arranged in two arcs above the arms. A red painted scroll, outlined in gold, with no writing, is below the arms. The flag has gold-knotted fringe 4.5 cm in length

This rectangular flag served as the national colors of the 8th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The flag has 34 white appliqued stars arranged in a grid pattern on a blue canton (canton: 98 x 85 cm). The flag's 13 alternating red and white stripes are 15 cm high. The words "8th OVI" are written in black, just below and to the right of the flag's canton. The flag has a white streamer and a cord attached to its sleeve.
