Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) network analysis benefits from precise point positioning with undifferenced (UD) or double differenced (DD) integer ambiguity resolution (IAR). Position time series with UD-IAR and a practical DD-IAR are compared for a mixture network consisting of 57 global and 82 regional stations with 4-year observations. The sparse global stations are more affected by different IAR methods than the regional stations of Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC). The most significant differences between UD-IAR and the practical DD-IAR are observed in velocity estimations, with averages of 0.15 and 0.30 mm/yr for the horizontal and vertical components, respectively. UD-IAR can achieve smaller root mean square at 70–83 % of the daily solutions than the practical DD-IAR for global stations. Nevertheless, moderate differences of frame parameters and annual variations are introduced by different IAR methods. AbstractDespite the emergence of various treatment strategies for rectal cancer based on neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, there is currently a lack of reliable biomarkers to determine which patients will respond well to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Through collecting hematological and biochemical parameters data of patients prior to receiving neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, we evaluated the predictive value of systemic inflammatory indices for pathological response and prognosis in rectal cancer patients. We found that baseline GRIm-Score was an independent predictor for MPR in rectal cancer patients. Hydrate formation in foam drainage gas recovery wells and the shut in accidents caused by plugging have become an important problem that restricts the safe production of natural gas. The blockage and accumulation of hydrates is a gradual problem. This research goes beyond predicting the formation of hydrates and delves deeper into examining the rate of hydrate formation and the degree of pipeline blockage at different wellbore locations. First, the temperature model, pressure model, multiphase flow model, and hydrate plugging model of hydrate formation process are established from the equations of mass conservation, energy conservation, and momentum conservation. Second, an iterative approach is employed to solve the model, with a maximum error of 6.86% in model validation. Finally, sensitivity analysis shows that wellhead temperature, wellhead pressure, and foam viscosity have different effects on hydrate formation, maximum plugging position, and plugging degree. At the same time, combined with the actual drainage and gas production process, and the characteristics of hydrate blockage, proposed hydrate prevention measures can be taken to achieve safe production of natural gas. The research results indicate that a decrease in temperature signifies an increase in undercooling, resulting in an accelerated rate of hydrate formation and an elevated risk of hydrate blockage. The decrease in wellhead pressure leads to a decrease in the rate of hydrate formation and an increase in production, which is beneficial for the hydrate prevention. However, larger pressure differences and gas production rates will put higher requirements on equipment such as well control devices. An increase in foam viscosity will lead to increased pressure, foam compression, reduced drainage capacity, and intensified hydrate generation. The use of edible packaging films to delay food spoilage has attracted widespread attention. In this study, partridge tea extract (PTE) was added to cassia gum (CG) to prepare CG/PTE films. The microstructure, optical, mechanical, barrier, and antioxidant properties of CG/PTE films were investigated, and the effect of PTE on CG films was shown. The films had high transparency and smooth surface structure. Additionally, PTE significantly improved the elongation at break and antioxidant activity of films. At 2.5% of PTE, the 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging rate of the film was 46.88% after diluting 50 times, indicating excellent antioxidant property, which could be applied to food preservation. After 9 days of storage, the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances values (TBARS) of chicken jerk packaged with films containing 0% and 2.5% PTE increased from 0.12% to 1.04% and 0.11% to 0.40%, respectively. The SnZn defect passivation and heterojunction interface energetics‐modification are crucial for further improvement of open‐circuit voltage (Voc) and efficiency of Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) solar cells. Herein, a simple but effective cation substitution strategy is reported to promote the performance of CZTSSe devices by simultaneously modifying the absorber and heterojunction interface. This is achieved by introducing the organic silicon salt C8H20O4Si into CZTSSe precursor solution as a source of silicon to partially substitute Sn with Si. Systematic studies reveal that there are two mechanisms synergistically contributing to the increase of efficiency: 1) This strategy can passivate the undesired SnZn defect in CZTSSe absorber more efficiently, leading to at least one order of magnitude lower SnZn defect density and beneficial carrier transport properties; 2) After Si incorporation, the conduction band minimum of the CZTSSe is upshifted, thus enlarging the bandgap, which ultimately optimizes the energy level structure at the CdS/CZTSSe interface and reduces interfacial energy loss by decreasing the carrier transport barrier. Consequently, the CZTSSe device with 7% Si substitution delivers a satisfactory efficiency of 13.02% owing to an increase in Voc. The guaranteed cost finite-time stability of positive switched fractional-order systems (PSFS) with D-disturbance and impulse is studied based on the Φ -dependent average dwell time (Φ DADT) strategy. Firstly, the finite-time stability of the studied system is proved by constructing a linear co-positive Lyapunov function. Secondly, the system's guaranteed cost analysis is given with the estimated upper bound of the cost. In addition, the finite-time certain and robust controllers are designed to ensure the system's stabilization. A numerical example is finally given to signify the validity of the conclusions. [Display omitted] Interfacial solar steam generation using aerogels holds great promise for seawater desalination and wastewater treatment. However, to achieve aerogels with both durable, high-efficiency evaporation performance and excellent salt resistance remains challenging. Here, a molybdenum disulphide (MoS 2) and MXene composite aerogel with vertical pore channels is reported, which has outstanding advantages in mechanical properties, water transportation, photothermal conversion, and recycling stability. Benefiting from the plasmon resonance effect of MXene and the excellent photothermal conversion performance of MoS 2 , the aerogel exhibits excellent light absorption (96.58 %). The aerogel is resistant to deformation and able to rebound after water absorption, because of the support of an ordered vertical structure. Moreover, combined with the low water evaporation enthalpy, low thermal conductivity, and super hydrophilicity, the aerogel achieves an efficient and stable evaporation rate of about 2.75 kg m−2h−1 under one sun and exhibits excellent self-cleaning ability. Notably, the evaporator achieves removal rates of 99.9 % for heavy metal ions and 100 % for organic dyes, which has great potential in applications including seawater desalination and wastewater purification. Pollinator sharing often leads to receipt of heterospecific pollen (HP) along with conspecific pollen. As a result, flowering plants can accumulate diverse communities of HP on stigmas. While variation in HP diversity is an important selective force contributing to flowering plant fitness, evolution and community assembly, our understanding of the extent and drivers of heterogeneity of HP diversity is limited.In this study, we examined the species compositions and abundances of ~1000 HP communities across 59 co‐flowering plant species in three serpentine seep communities in California, USA. We evaluated the variation in HP diversity (γ diversity) across plant species in each seep and asked whether the variation in HP γ diversity was caused by variation in HP diversity within stigmas (α diversity) or HP compositional variation among stigmas (β diversity) due to the replacement of HP species (turnover) or their loss (nestedness) from one stigma to another. We further evaluated the potential drivers of variation in HP α and β diversity using phylogenetic structural equation models.We found that variation in HP γ diversity across plant species was driven strongly by differences among species in HP α diversity and to a lesser extent by HP β diversity. HP community turnover contributed more to HP β diversity than nestedness consistently across plant species and seeps, suggesting a general pattern of HP compositional heterogeneity from stigma to stigma. The phylogenetic structural equation models further revealed that floral traits (e.g., stigma area, stigma‐anther distance, stigma exposure) and floral abundance were key in determining HP α diversity by influencing HP abundance (load size), while floral traits and abundance showed variable impact on HP β diversity (turnover and nestedness). Pollination generalism contributed relatively less to HP‐α and β diversity.These findings disentangle the heterogeneity in HP diversity at different levels, which is essential for understanding the process underlying patterns of HP receipt in plant communities. Matrix-free room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials have generated considerable interest in sensing, anti-counterfeiting and bioimaging due to long lifetime and large Stokes shift. However, spin-forbidden transition and non-radiative transition make RTP challenging to implement. In this work, matrix-free RTP carbon dots (CDs) co-doped with boron and nitrogen were prepared through the microwave-assisted strategy. The CDs realize RTP without any protective matrix. This may be attributed to the stable and rigid structure formed during the heating polymerization process, which can protect the triplet excited state from being quenched by oxygen and water in the air environment. The fluorescence and phosphorescence emission wavelength of the as-prepared CDs were observed at 532 nm and 596 nm with the excitation wavelength of 476 nm and 514 nm, respectively, showing a long afterglow lifetime of 735.3 ms. Nitrogen doping has a crucial effect on the luminescence of RTP, and the increase of nitrogen content facilitates the n-π* transition and improve the efficiency of intersystem crossing (ISC). Importantly, the ratiometric fluorescence method for determining riboflavin has been established based on the Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) between the CDs (Donor) and riboflavin (Acceptor), with a linear relationship in the range of 9.52–85.71 μM and the limit of detection (LOD) of 19.9 nM. Additionally, the phosphorescent property of the CDs was exploited to demonstrate the potential applications in the field of information encryption. Sialyl‐Lewisx (SLex) is involved in immune regulation, human fertilization, cancer, and bacterial and viral diseases. The influence of the complex glycan structures, which can present SLex epitopes, on binding is largely unknown. We report here a chemoenzymatic strategy for the preparation of a panel of twenty‐two isomeric asymmetrical tri‐antennary N‐glycans presenting SLex‐Lex epitopes on either the MGAT4 or MGAT5 arm that include putative high‐affinity ligands for E‐selectin. The N‐glycans were prepared starting from a sialoglycopeptide isolated from egg yolk powder and took advantage of inherent substrate preferences of glycosyltransferases and the use of 5′‐diphospho‐N‐trifluoracetylglucosamine (UDP‐GlcNHTFA) that can be transferred by branching N‐acetylglucosaminyltransferases to give, after base treatment, GlcNH2‐containing glycans that temporarily disable an antenna from enzymatic modification. Glycan microarray binding studies showed that E‐selectin bound equally well to linear glycans and tri‐antennary N‐glycans presenting SLex‐Lex. On the other hand, it was found that hemagglutinins (HA) of H5 influenza A viruses (IAV) preferentially bound the tri‐antennary N‐glycans. Furthermore, several H5 HAs preferentially bound to N‐glycan presenting SLex on the MGAT4 arm. SLex is displayed in the respiratory tract of several avian species, demonstrating the relevance of investigating the binding of, among others IAVs, to complex N‐glycans presenting SLex. Background: Verrucas that occur on the soles of the feet are called plantar warts, most of which can recur repeatedly and are difficult to eradicate. Hypertrophic and refractory plantar warts are often accompanied by pain and discomfort, which cause many inconveniences in patients' daily lives. Aim: This study aimed to analyze the therapeutic effect of superficial radiotherapy (SRT‐100) on refractory plantar warts and further create favorable conditions for the subsequent treatment of this disease with a high recurrence rate. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted for refractory plantar warts treated with superficial radiotherapy in our outpatient department from January to June 2023. Results: A total of 30 patients were included in our study (median age, 33 years). The female‐to‐male ratio was 1:3.29. Two to six months after radiotherapy, all of the warts subsided in 23 (76.67%) patients, most of the warts subsided in 4 (13.33%) patients, 3 (10%) patients did not respond to treatment, and 7 (23.33%) patients had recurrent or new warts after their warts subsided. Conclusions: Most patients with refractory plantar warts improved after superficial radiotherapy. Our study presented that men are more susceptible to plantar warts than women, and young and middle‐aged people are the main population affected by the disease. Superficial radiotherapy is an effective treatment for refractory plantar warts, which can quickly remove the warts in a short period. It is safe and noninvasive, with minimal adverse reactions. Some patients relapse after the lesion is clear, and superficial radiotherapy can create favorable conditions for the subsequent treatment of viral warts in clinical practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The pursuit of high energy densities propels the design of next‐generation nickel‐based layered oxide cathodes. The utilization of low‐cobalt, ultrahigh‐nickel layered oxide cathodes, and the extension of operating voltages promise enhanced energy density. However, stability and safety face challenges associated with nickel content, including structural degradation, lattice oxygen evolution, and thermal instability. In this study, a promising strategy of Al and Nb dual‐bulk‐doping is presented in high‐Ni cathode materials of LiNi0.96Co0.04O2 (NC) to stabilize the bulk structure, suppress oxygen release, and attain superior electrochemical performance at high voltages. The introduction of Al and Nb effectively raises the migration energy of Ni2+ into Li sites and stabilizes lattice oxygen through strengthened Al─O and Nb─O bonds. Furthermore, the substitution of high‐valence Nb ions reduces the charge depletion of lattice oxygen and induces an ordered microstructure. The Al and Nb dual‐bulk‐doping strategy mitigates strain and stress associated with the H2↔H3 phase transition, reducing the generation and propagation of microcracks. The resulting Li(Ni0.96Co0.04)0.985Al0.01Nb0.005O2 (NCAN) cathode exhibits superior cycling stability, with a capacity retention of 77.8% after 300 cycles, even when operating at a high‐voltage of 4.4 V, outperforming the NC (48.5%). Biosorption mediated by peptides or proteins has emerged as an efficient and sustainable alternative for selective rare earth element (REE) recovery from waste streams, and will diversify REE supply while reducing the environmental burden. REE-binding peptides/proteins can be created and identified by using the state-of-the-art approaches, including phage display, rational design, proteomics, and homology modeling, and can be optimized by protein engineering for improved functionality and desirable properties. The activity of REE-binding peptides and proteins can be harnessed by engineering robust and reusable biomaterials for the selective recovery of REEs. The escalating global demand for rare earth elements (REEs) and the overabundance of REE-containing waste require innovative technologies for REE recovery from waste to achieve a sustainable supply of REEs while reducing the environmental burden. Biosorption mediated by peptides or proteins has emerged as a promising approach for selective REE recovery. To date, multiple peptides and proteins with high REE-binding affinity and selectivity have been discovered, and various strategies are being exploited to engineer robust and reusable biosorptive materials for selective REE recovery. Tropical cyclones (TCs) over the Bay of Bengal (BOB) can interact with the South Branch Trough (SBT) as they move northward and potentially amplify Rossby waves. This study evaluates the features of Rossby waves and their downstream impact on rainfall in South China. Results indicate that TC‐SBT interactions primarily occur in May and October‐November (Oct‐Nov), with probabilities of 59% and 53% respectively. Notably, the Rossby wave train associated with BOB TCs is more pronounced during Oct‐Nov due to the stronger subtropical westerly jet, in contrast to May. The downstream atmospheric response results in positive (negative) rainfall anomalies over South China in May (Oct‐Nov), particularly on the day following the maximum interaction day. Previous researches concerning TC‐extratropical flow interaction mainly focus on other basins where TCs move to higher latitudes, this study provides fresh insights into Rossby waves related to TC‐SBT interactions over the southern Tibetan Plateau. Plain Language Summary: During bimodal periods of tropical cyclone (TC) activity over the Bay of Bengal (BOB) in May and October‐November (Oct‐Nov), the Asian subtropical westerly jet is usually located at lower latitudes over the southern Tibetan Plateau, where South Branch Trough (SBT) is active. We quantified the extent of BOB TC‐SBT interaction based on the negative potential vorticity advection by TC‐associated irrotational wind. The mean location of the TC center and maximum interaction point are around (20°N, 88°E) and (33°N, 89°E), respectively. Rossby wave trains (RWT) associated with BOB TCs may extend eastward to 150°W, dispersing at a faster zonal group speed in May compared to Oct‐Nov. In May, the downstream response in South China featured by amplified upper‐level divergent outflow, intensified mid‐level warm and cold air convergence, and enhanced low‐level southwesterly water vapor transport, which was conducive to precipitation. In Oct‐Nov, the RWT shifted northward and the anticyclone anomaly related to the subtropical high dominated South China, leading to a northward shift in water vapor transport, unfavorable for precipitation in South China. The results are significant for the short‐ to medium‐range weather forecasts in downstream regions of BOB TCs. Here, we demonstrate that the first example of harmaline scaffolds serving as acceptor/acceptor-based N-C-C synthons triggered the ring opening and skeletal reconstruction of 3-vinyl benzofuranones for the construction of a library of skeletally diverse polycyclic harmaline scaffolds. These products were smoothly afforded in up to 77% yield, 420: 1 dr under catalyst-free conditions, and expanded the chemical space of biologically significant harmaline derivative species. All synthetic compounds showed cytotoxic activity against tumor cells, especially compound 3at, which exhibited selective cytotoxicity against A549 cells and lower cytotoxicity against normal cells MRC-5 and HK-2. In further mechanism research, 3at inhibited A549 cell proliferation through the G1 phase arrest, induced A549 cell apoptosis through internal and external apoptosis pathways, and suppressed the migration and invasion abilities of A549 cells. This study investigates the influence of the Northeast China cold vortex (NCCV) on the northward‐moving typhoons (NTCs) over the western North Pacific (WNP). There is a significant inverse relationship between the NCCV during June–September and simultaneous NTCs during 1981–2021. Fewer (more) NTCs are observed during NCCV active (inactive) year a combination of less (more) NTC genesis, particularly over the central Pacific region of 10°–30° N and 130°–150° E, and fewer (more) NTCs moving northwestward and making landfall in coastal regions of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. These regions are characterized by significantly decreased low‐level vorticity and mid‐level humidity, which impedes NTC genesis and notably enhances the deep‐layer subtropical straight westerly steering flow, thus blocking the northward movement of NTCs. These remarkable environmental changes during different NCCV years are clearly linked with the changes of an anomalous anticyclone in the subtropics (20°–30° N, 120°–160° E). • White noise domains in VLBI position time series. • White and flicker noise amplitudes show a pattern that depends on latitude. • Colored noise significantly impacts the estimation of velocity and its uncertainty. Identification of the optimal noise model for space geodetic time series is crucial for various studies in geodynamics and geodesy. However, the position time series of Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) are typically irregularly sampled. There is no clear evidence from previous studies to support that the Maximum Likelihood Estimate (MLE) method can allow for stable and reliable noise estimates for irregularly sampled data. To address this issue, we first conducted simulation studies. Results indicate that when the number of data points in the VLBI position time series reaches 300, reliable noise estimations result can be obtained using the MLE. We also found that the higher proportion of white noise a station has, the less influences the data gaps would be on noise estimations. Second, we apply the MLE to investigate the noise properties in the 32 VLBI position time series. About 12 (37.5%) stations exhibit pure white noise, and 15 (46.9%) stations display a combination of white noise and flicker noise. For these stations, the median amplitudes of white noise in the East, North, and Up components are 3.9, 4.6, and 11.9 mm, respectively. Moreover, white and flicker noise amplitudes show a latitude-dependent pattern, with stations located in the southern hemisphere and low latitudes (0-30°N) in the northern hemisphere exhibiting higher noise amplitudes. The remaining approximately 5 stations (15.6%) have the optimal noise model of power law noise with the mean spectral index of −0.32, −0.36, and −0.53 for the East, North, and Up components, respectively. Simply assuming pure white noise can significantly affect velocity uncertainty estimates when compared to using a noise model that includes colored noise. The velocity uncertainty will be underestimated by a factor of 2.9 on average. The effects of a small proportion of colored noise in VLBI data on velocity uncertainty estimation can be ignored only when the time series length exceeds 32.6 years. In this article, the guaranteed cost control problem for a class of nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) with dynamic quantization, external bounded disturbance, and data dropout is investigated via the dynamic output feedback. The Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is used to represent the discrete-time nonlinear system discussed in this paper. Under the dynamic quantization strategy, two quantizers with dynamic parameters are used to quantize the measured output and control input, and the data dropout process is described by introducing the Bernoulli stochastic variable. By using the quadratic boundedness technique, the quadratic stability of the quantized NCS with external disturbance is described. Furthermore, the sufficient condition for the global design approach are proposed, that is, not only the dynamic output feedback controller but parameters of the quantizers are designed synchronously with strict linear matrix inequalities. Background: Very late-onset neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder–related optic neuritis is limited to a few case reports. Objective: To investigate the clinical features and visual prognosis of very late-onset neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder–related optic neuritis. Methods: This study evaluated 22 patients with first-onset optic neuritis and fulfilled the 2015 diagnosis criteria for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders. Results: The mean age at optic neuritis onset was 73.91 ± 4.71 (range: 70–82) years with a female predominance (81.8%; ratio: 4.5:1). Antinuclear antibody seropositivity and seronegativity were identified in 12 (55.5%) and 10 (45.5%) patients, respectively. Severe visual loss persisted in 19 (19/42, 45.3%) eyes at the last follow-up. Although patients with antinuclear antibody seropositivity had a significantly higher frequency of attacks (P = 0.015), but they had a longer median time to reach severe visual loss (37 vs. 26 months; log-rank test, P = 0.023). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed antinuclear antibody seropositivity (hazard ratio = 4.849, 95% confidence interval: 1.309–17.965, P = 0.018) as a good predictor of visual acuity improvement. Conclusion: Patients with very late-onset neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder–related optic neuritis may develop severe optic neuritis, and those with antinuclear antibody seronegativity have a similar clinical presentation but worse outcome than those with seropositivity. A fluorescent probe (probe 1) with selectivity and sensitivity for H 2 S and N 2 H 4 has been developed. Probe 1 exhibits dual-excitation and dual-emission fluorescence response to H 2 S and fluorescence enhancement toward N 2 H 4 with distinct naked-eye color changes. Moreover, probe 1 displayed low detection limits for H 2 S and N 2 H 4 of 0.90 nM and 23.6 nM, respectively. The reaction mechanism of probe 1 toward H 2 S and N 2 H 4 was established using 1H NMR and HR-MS spectroscopy. Additionally, probe 1 was used for monitoring and differentiating H 2 S and N 2 H 4 in HeLa cells and displays good biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity. • Probe 1 exhibits dual-emission fluorescence-enhanced detection of H 2 S in mitochondria. • Probe 1 exhibits a turn-on response for the detection of N 2 H 4 in mitochondria. • Probe 1 exhibits rapid response, good optical performance, high selectivity, and high sensitivity in solution. • Probe 1 displays multi species detection in the mitochondria of HeLa cells and zebrafish. • Detection using Probe 1 can be achieved using a smartphone with a chromaticity APP. Objective To understand the prevalence and annual change trend of Internet addiction among students aged 11 and 22 in Inner Mongolia in 2019 and 2021, and to explore the influencing factors of Internet addiction behavior, so as to provide reference basis for the prevention of Internet addiction among students. Methods Students were selected from 12 cities of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region by stratified cluster random sampling. Internet addiction disorder was determined according to the items of "surveillance and intervention of common diseases and health influencing factors of students in China". Logistic regression method was used to analyze the relationship between Internet addiction and behavioral factors. Results The prevalence of Internet addiction among students aged 11 to 22 years in Inner Mongolia in 2019 was 1.92%, 2.50%, and 2.21%, respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that vocational high school (OR=1.347, 95%CI: 1.083-1.675), single parent family (OR=1.279, 95% CI: 1.090-1.500), reconstituted family (OR=1326, 95% CI: 1.041-1.690), bullying (OR=1.755, 95% CI: 1.443-2.135), depression (OR=3.557, 95% CI: 3.146-4.021), fighting (OR=3.374, 95% CI: 2.512-4.531), sugary drinks (OR=2.182. 95% CI:1.753-2.716), and eating fried food (OR=2.398, 95% CI: 1.908-3.014) were the risk factor of Internet addiction. Outdoor activities for 2 hours (OR= 0.620, 95% CI: 0.530-0.726), non-smoking (OR=0.553, 95% CI: 0.476-0.643), and non-drinking (OR=0.581, 95% CI: 0.507-0.666) were the protective factors of Internet addiction. Conclusion The current situation of Internet addiction among students in Inner Mongolia is not optimistic. Attention should be paid to bullying, depression, reconstituted families, fighting students, and vocational high school students. Outdoor activities for 1 to 2 hours a day, reducing the intake of sugary drinks and fried foods, and no smoking and drinking can effectively reduce the incidence of Internet addiction. Various treatment modalities have been applied to atrophic scars. Fractional CO2 laser treatment has attracted increasingly more attention because of its quicker recovery time and fewer side effects. However, its limitation of sculpting the edge is an urgent shortcoming. In order to achieve a more effective result with fewer complications, we have integrated ultrapulse CO2 and fractional CO2 lasers to for the treatment of facial atrophic scars. The study included 25 patients (10 males and 15 females) diagnosed with moderate to severe atrophic scars between August 2020 and July 2022. All subjects underwent the same surgical treatment. The effects were assessed at baseline, 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months using photographic evidence. Objective evaluation of the results was conducted using a quartile grading scale, while the subjects' satisfaction and any adverse events were also recorded. The patients in the study underwent more than two laser sessions (2–5), resulting in substantial improvement in their appearance. The time interval between each session was 3–6 months. The majority of the patients (19/25, 76%) had a significant or even excellent improvement. Any adverse events observed, such as erythema, superficial crusting, and PIH, were of a mild nature and temporary in duration. Premise Methods Results Conclusions Whole‐genome duplication (neopolyploidy) can instantly differentiate the phenotype of neopolyploids from their diploid progenitors. These phenotypic shifts in organs such as roots and leaves could also differentiate the way neopolyploids interact with microbial species. While some studies have addressed how specific microbial interactions are affected by neopolyploidy, we lack an understanding of how genome duplication affects the diversity and composition of microbial communities.We performed a common garden experiment with multiple clones of artificially synthesized autotetraploids and their ancestral diploids, derived from 13 genotypes of wild strawberry, Fragaria vesca. We sequenced epiphytic bacteria and fungi from roots and leaves and characterized microbial communities and leaf functional traits.Autotetraploidy had no effect on bacterial alpha diversity of either organ, but it did have a genotype‐dependent effect on the diversity of fungi on leaves. In contrast, autotetraploidy restructured the community composition of leaf bacteria and had a genotype‐dependent effect on fungal community composition in both organs. The most differentially abundant bacterial taxon on leaves belonged to the Sphingomonas, while a member of the Trichoderma was the most differentially abundant fungal taxon on roots. Ploidy‐induced change in leaf size was strongly correlated with a change in bacterial but not fungal leaf communities.Genome duplication can immediately alter aspects of the plant microbiome, but this effect varies by host genotype and bacterial and fungal community. Topics include the challenges in managing neurodermatitis, the efficacy of superficial radiation therapy, and the development of a treatment plan based on existing literature and safe radiotherapy doses.

This study was the first to examine the mechanical behavior of sediment-bearing methane hydrates (SBMHs) with hydrate abundance up to 80%. The experiment results showed that the stress–strain curves of the SBMH specimens were characterized by the elastic–plastic deformation or plastic–elastic–plastic deformation of the specimens, prominent strain softening, and a rounded head-like trailing peak shape with no obvious stress cusps. Increasing the hydrate content and pore pressure, and reducing the temperature significantly enhanced the peak strength and initial tangent modulus of the specimens, but led to a decline in the peak strain. New correlation equations for initial tangent modulus, peak strength, and peak strain depending on hydrate abundance, pore pressure, and temperature were developed. A modified hyperbolic constitutive model was proposed by introducing a correction term to the Duncan–Chang model that reflects the degree of specimen softening and considering the effects of the hydrate abundance, temperature, and pore pressure. The modified model satisfactorily revealed the strain-softening characteristics of the SBMHs and accurately reproduced the peak strength and strain of all experimental specimens, effectively characterizing the contributions of the hydrate content, pore pressure, and temperature to the stress–strain behaviors of the specimens. • Mechanical properties of high-abundance methane hydrates are investigated. • The effects of hydrate abundance, temperature, and pore pressure are considered. • Changing patterns for the elastic modulus, peak strength and strain are revealed. • Stress-strain curves exhibit strain softening behavior and a rounded peak strength. • A nonlinear constitutive model considering the strain softening effect is proposed. The utilization and conversion of solar energy is considered an environmentally friendly strategy to achieve global carbon peak and carbon neutrality. To synergistically alleviate freshwater and electricity scarcity, designing multifunctional photothermal composites that are highly efficient and stable is particularly important. Herein, a multifunctional Cu 3 BiS 3 @V 2 C/BF membrane with a bilayer structure has been developed, the top is Cu 3 BiS 3 @V 2 C-1 nanocomposite coating, and the bottom is porous BF membrane, the interface matching is achieved by coordination effect of calcium ions and carboxylate group. The Cu 3 BiS 3 @V 2 C-1/BF membrane can achieve a broadband absorption of ≈95.2 % in the full spectrum, benefitting from the near-infrared spectral compensation mechanism. Further, a high evaporation rate of 1.68 kg m−2 h−1 is achieved by the synergetic design of multistage photothermal conversion and the decrease in evaporation enthalpy. Moreover, the membrane has high solar desalination efficiency, electricity generation of 55 mV under one sun, and water purification performance, which profit from the unique sodiophilic property of V 2 CT x MXene, the enhanced photothermal catalysis and the abundant adsorption sites of Cu 3 BiS 3 @V 2 C-1 nanocomposite. Furthermore, the deep mechanism of photothermal conversion and photothermal catalytic is analyzed using first-principles calculation. • A D-p-A type probe has been developed for detection of ClO−. • The mechanism associated with oxidation breakage of rhodanine moiety was proposed. • The crystal structure of the probe is reported. • The probe has been successfully applied to the imaging of ClO− in cells, plants and zebrafish. Hypochlorite (ClO−) plays an important role in many cellular processes, which is proved to be related to some serious diseases. Given the electron donating and electron withdrawing properties of benzo[ h ]chromene and rhodanine groups, respectively, we developed a Donor (D)-p-Acceptor (A) type probe 1 for the detection of ClO− based on benzo[ h ]chromene (D) and rhodanine (A), whose structure was determined by ESI-MS, NMR and X-ray diffraction. Probe 1 showed a fast (within 20 s), selective and sensitive response toward ClO− via a fluorescent turn-on output. Based-on the spectral change of probe 1 induced by ClO−, the mechanism associated with oxidation breakage of rhodanine moiety was proposed. A series of intelligent films with pH-responsive properties were prepared using Padus virginiana peel extract (PVE) as a smart response factor, κ-carrageenan (κC) as a matrix, and complexed with rice straw lignin (SL). Following the addition of 5 mL PVE at a concentration of 430.99 mg/L, tensile strength and elongation at break of the films increased to a maximum value of 21.25 ± 0.75 MPa and 24.04 ± 0.69 %, respectively. The water vapour permeability of the films decreased with increasing PVE addition, and the minimum value was 5.85 ± 0.09 × 10−11 g m−1 s−1 Pa−1. All the films had favourable thermal stability, transparency, haze and antioxidant properties. PVE-containing films all exhibited excellent pH and ammonia response properties. The higher the humidity of the environment, the faster the ammonia response, and the films were capable of rapid discoloration at 75 % relative humidity. κC/SL-PVE5 can be used to monitor the freshness of chicken breast meat. When the total volatile basic nitrogen of chicken breast meat was increased to 14.27 mg/100 g, κC/SL-PVE5 changed from pink to greyish-yellow. In conclusion, κC/SL-PVE intelligent films hold great promise for real-time monitoring of meat freshness. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs) have shown promising therapeutic potential for multiple diseases, including intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). Nevertheless, the limited production and unstable quality of EVs hindered the clinical application of EVs in IDD. Selenomethionine (Se-Met), the major form of organic selenium present in the cereal diet, showed various beneficial effects, including antioxidant, immunomodulatory and anti-apoptotic effects. In the current study, Se-Met was employed to treat MSCs to investigate whether Se-Met can facilitate the secretion of EVs by MSCs and optimize their therapeutic effects on IDD. On the one hand, Se-Met promoted the production of EVs by enhancing the autophagy activity of MSCs. On the other hand, Se-Met pretreated MSC-derived EVs (Se-EVs) exhibited an enhanced protective effects on alleviating nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs) senescence and attenuating IDD compared with EVs isolated from control MSCs (C-EVs) in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, we performed a miRNA microarray sequencing analysis on EVs to explore the potential mechanism of the protective effects of EVs. The result indicated that miR-125a-5p is markedly enriched in Se-EVs compared to C-EVs. Further in vitro and in vivo experiments revealed that knockdown of miR-125a-5p in Se-EVs (miRKD-Se-EVs) impeded the protective effects of Se-EVs, while overexpression of miR-125a-5p (miROE-Se-EVs) boosted the protective effects. In conclusion, Se-Met facilitated the MSC-derived EVs production and increased miR-125a-5p delivery in Se-EVs, thereby improving the protective effects of MSC-derived EVs on alleviating NPCs senescence and attenuating IDD. Despite the wide range of applications for persulfate-based advanced oxidation processes (PS-based AOPs) in groundwater remediation, the elimination of perchlorinated hydrocarbon contaminants such as carbon tetrachloride (CT) remains a challenge. In this research, we discovered that CT degradation in PS/Fe(II) system was greatly promoted with the presence of surfactant Tween-80 (TW-80), whereas it was hardly removed without TW-80 presence. The introduction of citric acid (CA) or nano zero-valent iron (nZVI) could both enhance the efficacy of PS/Fe(II) system. Through scavenging experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance analysis, the generated secondary surfactant radicals (R•CHOH) from TW-80 and superoxide radicals (O 2 −•) were identified as the driving factors behind CT degradation. CT dechlorination reached 70.6% and 71.8% in PS/Fe(II)/CA and PS/Fe(II)/nZVI systems, respectively, and the potential degradation routes of CT were offered. Additionally, the effect of TW-80 concentration and solution matrixes (solution pH and inorganic ions) on CT degradation was assessed. Furthermore, the removal of mixed chlorinated hydrocarbon contaminants and actual groundwater tests were also performed. Given that surfactants are commonly used in soil and groundwater remediation, this research provides a new prospect and theoretical support for the treatment of perchlorinated contaminants in groundwater with the presence of surfactants. Carboxylesterases (CEs) are widely distributed in the body and catalyze the hydrolysis of endogenous and exogenous substrates. They play important roles in drug metabolism, and abnormal levels often result in numerous diseases such as cancers. Therefore, it is important to establish a highly selective and sensitive probe for the real-time sensing of CEs activity. Herein, we synthesized a novel fluorescence-electrochemical multichannel probe 1 containing a ferrocene unit, which not only serves as part of the structure of probe 1 but also provides electrochemical signals. The probe exhibited high selectivity to CEs with a "Turn-On" fluorescence response and was applied for imaging in complicated biological samples including Staphylococcus aureus , living cells, and zebrafish. Furthermore, the hydrolysis of the acetoxy group of probe 1 by CEs decreased the electrochemical signal. Herein, a novel ternary composite material has been proposed for the electrochemical detection of carbendazim (CBZ) pesticide. Such Au nanoparticles@zeolitic imidazole framework-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x (AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x) can be obtained by using few-layer Ti 3 C 2 T x and AuNPs@ZnO as the precursors. The original synthetic route leads to the distinguished morphology of AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x , which exhibits the salix leaf-like morphology that is accompanied by two kinds of topological structures including the dart-like and carambola-like shapes. More importantly, the unique structure of AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x contributes to high-performance sensing for the determination of CBZ. A series of control experiments has been performed in order to investigate the structure-activity relationship and sensing mechanism of AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x. According to the material characterization results and performance testing results, the synergistic effect of AuNPs, ZIF-L and Ti 3 C 2 T x is considered as the key of high-efficiency reaction interface that leads to the electrocatalytic oxidation of CBZ. The established electrochemical sensor based on the non-enzymatic AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x shows a low limit of detection is 1.2 nM. Notably, the highly sensitive determination of CBZ can be realized by AuNPs@ZIF-L-Ti 3 C 2 T x , owing to 66,684 μA mM−1 cm−2 of sensitivity. The herbal pair Alpinia officinarum - Cyperus rotundus (HPAC) has an extended history of use in the treatment of gastric ulcers, and its curative effect is definite. To explore the material basis and holistic mechanism of HPAC on ethanol-induced gastric ulcers. Three chemometrics, GRA, OPLS, and BCA, were used to construct the spectrum-effect relationship between the HPLC fingerprints of HPAC extracts and the bioactivity indices (cell viability; the levels of TNF-α, IL-6, COX-2, and PGE2; and wound healing rate) against GES-1 cell damage to screen the bioactive ingredients. The bioactive components were isolated and validated in vitro. Simultaneously, the effects of HPAC with concentrated bioactive ingredients was tested on ethanol-induced gastric ulcers in vivo , and the mechanism was investigated using transcriptomics and metabolomics. The mechanism was further validated by Western blotting. Finally, the contents of the main components of HPAC were determined before and after compatibility. Twelve bioactive components were screened, and the structures of nine compounds were confirmed. An in vitro verification test showed that DPHA and galangin could protect GES-1 cells from injury, and that their content increased after compatibility. The CH 2 Cl 2 fraction of HPAC (HP-CH 2 Cl 2) can protect mice from ethanol-induced gastric mucosal injury by reducing hemorrhage and decreasing inflammatory cell infiltration. Western blot analysis indicated that this fraction may up-regulate TRPV1 protein and down-regulate PI3K and AKT proteins. DPHA and galangin may be the bioactive components against ethanol-induced GES-1 cell injury. HP-CH 2 Cl 2 may exert gastroprotective effects by regulating PI3K, AKT and TRPV1 proteins.
