OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy of tandanone citrate combined with conventional antihypertensive therapy for hypertension complicated with anxiety. METHODS: Totally 126 patients with hypertension complicated with anxiety admitted into Hebei Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from Feb. 2016 to Feb. 2018 were extracted to be divided into the observation group and the control group via the random number table, with 63 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional antihypertensive therapy, while the observation group received tandospirone citrate on the basis of the control group. The Hamilton’s anxiety scale (HAMA), Hamilton’s depression scale (HAMD), patient health questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and the World Health Organization quality of life brief scale (WHOQOL-BREF) score of two groups were observed before and after treatment, and the differences of serum norepinephrine (NA), neuropeptide Y (NPY), serotonin (5-HT), blood pressure, endothelin 1 (ET-1), endogenous nitric oxide synthetase (eNOS) and nitric oxide (NO) were compared. RESULTS: The total effective rate of the observation group was 96. 83% (61/63), significantly higher than that of the control group [79.37% (50/63)], the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the PHQ-9, HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the WHOQOL-BREF score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the serum levels of NA, NPY and 5-HT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the serum levels of eNOS and NO in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and ET-1 was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); there was no significant difference in diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure between two groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of tandanone citrate combined with conventional antihypertensive therapy for hypertension complicated with anxiety is significant, can improve patients’ clinical anxiety. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the incidence of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in obstetrical department, and probe into the function of clinical pharmacists in ADR disposal. METHODS:Clinical pharmacists participated in consultations and provided pharmaceutical service for 3 ADR patients which were respectively induced by indometacin suppositories, Nifedipine sustained release tablets and neostigmine. RESULTS:Clinical pharmacists analyzed ADR induced by indometacin suppositories, Nifedipine sustained release tablets and neostigmine, took pharmaceutical cares and assisted clinicians with formulating and optimizing therapeutic regimen. All patients turned better after treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Clinical pharmacists should give full play of professional advantages and take positive participation in clinical treatment, so as to enhance clinicians-pharmacists-patients cooperation and promote clinical rational drug application. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application status of proton pump inhibitors (PPI) in gynecology department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (hereinafter referred to as "our hospital "). METHODS: 1 424 medical records with PPI from gynecological department from Jul. 1st 2014 to Dec. 31th 2015 were randomly selected to conduct the retrospective analysis, and the rationality was evaluated. RESULTS: The rate of improper indication was 83. 08% (1 183 /1 424); patients with treatment more than 7 d accounted for 18. 40% (262 /1 424); and the rate of improper usage and dosage up to 17. 33% (239 /1 379). CONCLUSIONS: It is suggested to enhance the medication intervention measures and establish standard on rational use of PPI in hospital, so as to improve the situation of inappropriate application.
