The study was carried out to evaluate the combining ability and heterosis of seven parents and their 21 half-diallel F2 populations for yield and quality traits during the 2013-14 season in the randomized complete block design with three replications. Significant differences were observed among the genotypes, GCA (general combining ability) and SCA (specific combining ability) effects for all traits, except spike length. The best combiner parents were identified as Esperia and Pehlivan for grain yield, and Flamura85, Aldane and Selimiye for quality traits because of significant GCA and per se performance. The ranges of best parent heterosis were -12.71 to 8.23% for plant height, -15.46 to 8.36% for spike length, -16.62 to 24.80% for number of grains per spike, -23.61 to 36.50% for grain weight per spike, -17.13 to 8.84% for harvest index and -44.26 to 15.83 for grain yield, -17.61 to 8.38% for thousand grain weight, -18.55 to 8.44% for wet gluten content, -33.80 to 24.78% for gluten index, -20.24 to 15.23% for Zeleny sedimentation value, -15.58 to 10.00% for quality index and -8.96 to 6.87 for grain protein content. The three (Slm/Phl, F85/Slm and F85/Esp) and seven (F85/Phl, Sb/Fs, Fs/Slm, Esp/Slm, Fs/Phl, Esp/Sb and Sb/Slm) of F2 populations are offered a good opportunity in base material for selection of potential because of significant SCA effects and best parent heterosis for grain yield and quality traits respectively.

The study was carried out in the experimental field of the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University in 2020-2021. In the study, totally 25 durum wheat genotypes (6 cultivars, 12 advanced lines, and 7 landraces) were used as experimental material. The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. In the study, the grain quality and morpho-physiological traits such as canopy temperature, chlorophyll content, leaf area index, and plant height were investigated in some durum wheat genotypes. The canopy temperature ranged from 23.33-20.43 OC, chlorophyll content 52.53-43.17 SPAD, leaf area index 3.63-1.77, thousand-grain weight 34.67-41.83 g, protein content 14.23-16.33%, test weight 78.93-87.03 kg hl-1, semolina colour 14.88-15.63 and plant height 99.00-75.33 cm in investigated durum wheat genotypes. Hacımestan and Sorgül genotypes for canopy temperature, Atkı 2, NZFM 1 and NZFM 7 genotypes for chlorophyll content, Atkı 2, NZFM 4 and NZFM 1 genotypes for leaf area index, Kıbrıs 2 and Ionia 3 genotypes for plant height, NZFM 1, NZFM 7 and Devedişi 2 genotypes for thousand-grain weight, Atkı 2 and Hacımestan 2 genotypes for protein content, Japiga and Boğacak 2 genotypes for test weight and Japiga, Boğacak, Kızıltan 91 and NZFM 7 genotypes for semolina colour were determined as promising genotypes.

The study was carried out under different drought/osmotic stresses (0.00 MPa-control, 0.25 MPa, 0.50 MPa, 0.75 MPaand 1.00 MPa applications) created by using PEG 6000 with 43 genotypes under laboratory, with 5 replications accordingto a split-plot experiment design. The genotypes constituted the main plots, and the drought/osmotic stress applicationsconstituted the sub-plots.In the study, seedling weight, root number, root length, root weight, shoot length, and shoot weight characters weredetermined. It was determined that drought stress applications caused statistically significant decreases in root and shootcharacters. Osmotic stress of, 1.00 MPa and 0.75 MPa caused statistically significant reductions in root and shoot characters.The results indicated that early and mid-early varieties were more tolerant to drought than the late varieties. AlthoughAglika, Anapo, Enola and Hamza varieties were outstanding for their root properties, while Maden, NKU Ergene andBezostaja-1 cultivars showed more appropriate shoot characteristics than other cultivars. Enola, Aglika, Bezostaja-1,NKU Ergene, Anapo, Hamza and Maden bread wheat varieties showed better growth characteristics under drought stressconditions in the study.

The study was carried out to evaluate yield components and some physiological quality traits for 30 durum wheat landraces(native and foreign originated) and 5 obsolete cultivars in Thrace ecological conditions. Experiments were set up inrandomized block design in 3 replicated during the 3 consecutive growing seasons. As a result of the analysis of variance,the differences between the averages of the genotypes for the traits were found to be statistically significant. This indicatedthat there may be enough variation for traits within landraces. The mean values of genotypes ranged between 2238 kg/ha-1and 3749 kg/ha-1 for grain yield, 98.8 cm and 135.3 cm for plant height, 6.04 cm and 8.88 cm for spike length, 26.6 and35.3 for the number of grains per spike, 0.988 g and 1.494 g for grain weight per spike, 36.1 g and 42.7 g for thousandgrain weight, 74.4 kg/hl-1 and 79.4 kg/hl-1 for test weight and 82.1% and 94.6% for vitreous grain percentage. AlthoughKahramanmaraş, Dicle, Boğacak, Sorgül, Ionia, Cyprus and Haurani were determined as promising populations for yieldand yield components, Siverek, Çanakkale, Tokat, Gaziantep, Yozgat and Urfa landraces had better physical quality. Theestimated coefficient of variation and broad sense heritability shifted from 3.9% to 24.52% and from 7.91% to 72.44%for the traits, respectively. Moderately high coefficient of variation, broad sense heritability a genetic advance for plantheight, spike length and vitreous grain percentage indicated that selection based on these traits will be more effective andaccomplished in the genetic material.

The study was carried out in randomized block design with 20 advanced lines with soft grain structure by developed Eskisehir Agricultural Research Institute and 4 standard wheat genotypes in Hamidiye and Karabayir locations of Eskisehir Province in the 2014-2015 growing period. The solvent retention capacity (SRC) tests (sodium carbonate (5%), sucrose (50%), lactic acid (5%) and distilled water) and gluten performance index (GPI) were investigated for 20 lines and 4 standard varieties in the study. According to the results of the analysis of variance regarding SRC tests and GPI, the differences between the genotypes, locations and their interaction averages were found to be statistically significant. The fact that the size of the variation between locations is higher than the genotype and interaction variances indicates that there are significant differences between the locations selected for the study, and the low interaction variance shows that the locations are correctly selected for the studied genotypes and their number is sufficient. For SRC tests used in soft wheat milling and biscuit quality determination, it was determined that the genotype and location effects were greater than the genotype x location interaction effects. The mean values of genotypes ranged between 86.68% and 112.83% for lactic acid SRC, 79.95% and 89.29% for sucrose SRC, 79.52% and 94.83% for sodium carbonate SRC and 58.18% to 65.14% for water SRC. The genotypes taken into the study in terms of GPI had averages varying between 0.49 and 0.66. Considering the obtained SRC tests and GPI reference values, it was determined that BIS-19 could be the line with the best biscuit performance. The BIS-2, BIS-11, BIS-13 and BIS-16 were other promising lines for biscuit quality performances. In addition, BIS-9, BIS-17, BIS-22 and BIS-8 have been promising lines that can be evaluated in breeding studies for biscuit quality.

NKU Lider is a winter bread wheat (Triticumaestivum L.) variety, developed by Tekirdağ NamıkKemal University, Agricultural Faculty and registeredin 2016. The spike of the NKU Lider variety ismoderately long and dense, white, and awned. Grain isoval, semi hard and red color. NKU Lider is a mediumtallvariety, similar to Flamura 85 and Tekirdağ breadwheat varieties. Plant height is between 85 and 90cm depending on the growing conditions. NKU Lidervariety is a winter type, medium-early, resistant towinter hardiness, good tolerant to drought, high abilityof tillering and trashing, and since its wide adaptability,it can be grown safely not only in the Thrace-MarmaraRegion, but also in other wheat production areas ofour country.

The s tudy was carried out in the experimental area of the Field Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, NamikKemal University in the growing season of 2011-12. In the s tudy, grain yield and its components and some quality traitssuch as 1000 grain weight, wet gluten content, gluten index, sedimentation value and protein content were inves tigated.The results exhibited significant differences among the tes ted genotypes, for all s tudied characters except spike length,indicating genetic variation among them. The genetic variation was higher for grain yield and its components when comparedwith quality characteris tics. These differences show that the effects of increasing gamma irradiation are not sys tematicallynegative for plant height, while positive for all other characters in comparison with controls. In general, it is unders toodthat the highes t percent changes are achieved in 200 and 250 Gy of gamma radiation doses for yield components, whileare in 300-350 Gy for the quality characteris tics. The values of phenotypic coefficient of variation PCV were slightlyhigher than their corresponding values of GCV for all traits. Moderate es timates of genotypic coefficient of variation GCVwere obtained by grain yield (12.50%), gluten content (11.20%) and grain weight per spike (10.20%), respectively. Lowes timates of GCV (less than 10) were recorded for the other characters inves tigated. The h2 values ranged from 37.3%, forsedimentation value, and 86.6%, for plant height, while the values of GA% ranged between 0.09 and 593.0.5% at 10%selection intensity for grain weight per spike and grain yield, respectively. The high values of heritability coupled withhigh values of genetic advance (%) were recorded by plant height, indicates the importance of the additive gene effects,so, selection would be effective in early generations for the trait. The high values of heritability coupled with moderatevalues of genetic advance (%) for harves t index and gluten index indicate selection would be a delay in later generations.

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of sowing time,cultivar and seed fungicide applications on root and crown rot diseaseand grain yield of bread wheat with different earliness traits (Esperia,mid-early; Genesi, late and Anapo, early) in the experiment station ofthe Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, TekirdağNamık Kemal University. Four different fungicides pre-treatments(prothioconazole + tebuconazole, carboxin + thiram, prochloraz +tiriticonazole and control) were applied to the seeds of the varietiesbefore sowing in three different times, on 1 November, 15 Novemberand 30 November 2016. The experiment was designed as a split-splitplot with 3 replications. The results of the variance analysis showedthat the effect of applying different seed fungicide pre-treatment rootand crown rot of bread wheat varieties was statistically significant.While the lowest root and crown rot with 2.67 % was obtained fromthe second sowing time, the highest root and crown rot wasdetermined with a value of 3.64% for the earliest sowing on 01November. Among the four different fungicide pre-treatments, thehighest root and crown rot (5.59%) was obtained in the controlapplication, while the lowest root and crown rot was obtained inprothioconazole + tebuconazole, carboxin + thiram and prochloraz +triticonazole, with 1.96%, 2.10% and 2.19% root and crown rot,respectively. These data indicate that early sowing may increase rootand crown rot severity. The present research was conducted to evaluate the M1, M2, M3 and M4 bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) mutant populations for yield andyield related traits during 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 at Tekirdağ ecological conditions. Three wheat genotypes were treated withdifferent levels of gamma rays (100 Gy, 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy, 500 Gy and Control). The mutated plants were evaluated along with parentallines (control) for grain yield (GY) and its contributing traits such as plant height (PH), spike length (SL), the number of spikelets per spike(NSPS), the number of grains per spike (NGPS), grain weight per spike (GWPS), harvest index (HI) and thousand grain weight (TGW) underfield conditions. The results obtained from the present study showed that the genotypes significantly and variably differed in their responsefor various traits at different gamma rays doses. The traits such as PH, TGW and grain yield (GY) showed generally reduction with highergamma irradiation doses as compared to low doses, while mutagenic treatments shifted the mean values mostly towards the negative directionin the other yield components. But, the negative or positive shifts were not unidirectional or equally effective for all the traits. These findingssuggested that the variability could be induced through the use of gamma irradiations in bread wheat. Some of the traits showed improvementdue to the induced mutations could be used in future wheat breeding programs. The differences in mean values and the nature of variabilityobserved in M2 indicated a possible preference of selection in M3 generation., Bu araştırma, M1, M2, M3 ve M4 ekmeklik buğday mutant populasyonlarını verim ve verime etkili özellikler bakımından değerlendirmekiçin 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 ve 2013-14 yıllarında Tekirdağ ekolojik koşullarında yürütülmüştür. Üç buğday genotipine farklı dozlardagamma ışını (Kontrol, 100 Gy, 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy ve 500 Gy) uygulanmıştır. Mutant bitkiler anaçları (kontrol) ile birlikte tane verimi(TV) ve bitki boyu (BB), başak uzunluğu (BAU), başakta başakçık sayısı (BABS), başakta tane sayısı (BATS), başakta tane ağırlığı (BATA),hasat indeksi (HI) ve bin tane ağırlığı (BTA) gibi verime etkili özellikler bakımından tarla koşullarında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmadan eldeedilen sonuçlar, genotiplerin çeşitli özellikler için farklı gamma ışını dozlarına yanıtlarının önemli ve değişken bir şekilde farklı olduğunugöstermiştir. Bitki boyu, bin tane ağırlığı ve tane verimi gibi özellikler düşük dozlarla karşılaştırıldığında yüksek gamma ışını dozlarındagenellikle azalma gösterirken, mutagen uygulamaları diğer verim unsurlarında ortalama değerleri çoğunlukla negatif yöne doğru kaydırmıştır.Ancak, negatif ya da pozitif yöndeki kaymalar tüm özellikler için tek yönde ya da eşit derecede etkili olmamıştır. Bu bulgular, buğdayda gammaışınları kullanılarak varyabilitenin oluşturulabileceğini göstermiştir. Oluşturulan mutasyonlara bağlı olarak gelişme gösteren bazı özelliklergelecekte buğday ıslahı çalışmalarında kullanılabilecektir. M2’de gözlenen varyabilite ve ortalama değerlerdeki farklar M3 generasyonundaseleksiyonun mümkün olabileceğini göstermiştir.

Leaf rust caused by Pucinia recondita tritici is one of the most important diseases of bread wheat worldwide. It is considered that the most environmentally sound; low cost method of controlling leaf rust is to breed and grow genetically resistant wheat varieties. In the research, twenty-four bread wheat varieties grown intensively were used as genetic material in Trakya Region where the North-West Part of Turkey. To create artificial leaf rust epidemic in field conditions, two sensitive varieties (Morrocco and Cumhuriyet 75) was sown after each ten genotypes, and the reactions of the varieties to leaf rust were investigated in field conditions. Isogenic lines carrying the genes Lr9, Lr14, Lr19, Lr24 and Lr47 from CIMMYT were used as control genotypes in molecular analysis. In the field conditions, although Pehlivan, Selimiye, Sagittario, Tina, Anapo, Montchill and Saraybosna were the most sensitive genotypes, Nota, Kate A1, Prostor and Sana were the most resistant bread wheat varieties to leaf rust. It was determined that Sana, Pehlivan, Golia, Falmura 85, Saroz 95, Renan, Sirena, Kate A1, Selimiye, Bezostoja 1, Saraybosna, Nina and Tina varieties have Lr9 gene with SSR analysis. It has been observed that all bread wheat varieties carry Lr14, Lr19, Lr24 and Lr47 (except Krasunia, Aldane and Gelibolu varieties) genes. It is revealed that Lr9 and Lr47 genes should be taken into consideration in the studies to be performed in the region and these genes will be useful to examine together with a larger number of leaf rust genes for more successful results in breeding studies. © Ankara Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi.

This research was conducted to determine the genetic parameters played a role inheritance and differences of F2 and F3 population for some yield component in half diallel cross of wheat. Five wheat varieties (Flamura-85, Krasunia, Bezostaja-1, Pehlivan, and Sana) used as a material in research. F2 seeds obtained from F1 plants belonging from the half diallel crossing and F3 seeds obtained from F2 plants was sown randomized complete block design with three replication in Namık Kemal University Agricultural Faculty research area in 2008-2009 and2009-2010 growing seasons. Spike length, spikelet number per spike, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, spike harvest index, spike intensity and grain yield per parcel were investigated in this study. According to results, it was found that both additive and non additive gene effects play a role inheritance of traits examined. Over dominance was found for all traits. Since the narrow sense heritability was found small for each of these traits, be selected further generations would be useful. When the mean observation and combining ability values are evaluated together, Krasunia and Sana is suitable genotypes for increased to yield and yield components. According to mean observation and combining ability values, Krasunia x Pehlivan, Flamura-85 x Krasunia, Krasunia x Sana ve Pehlivan x Sana are promising crosses for all traits examined., Bu araştırma, beş ekmeklik buğday çeşidi arasında yapılan yarım diallel melez döllerinde bazı verim komponentlerinin kalıtımında rol oynayan genetik parametreler ile F2 ve F3 populasyon farklılıklarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada materyal olarak 5 adet ekmeklik buğday çeşidi (Flamura-85, Krasunia, Bezostaja-1, Pehlivan ve Sana) kullanılmıştır. F2 ve F3 tohumları 2008-2009 ve 2009-2010 yetiştirme yıllarında Tesadüf Blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak, Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü deneme alanlarında ekilmişlerdir. Çalışmada başak boyu, başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak hasat indeksi, başak yoğunluğu ve parsel verimi özellikleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre incelenen özelliklerin kalıtımında hem eklemeli hem de eklemeli olmayan gen etkilerinin birlikte rol oynadığı görülmüştür. Bütün özellikler için üstün dominantlığın bulunduğu gözlenmiştir. Bütün özelliklerde dar anlamda kalıtım derecesi düşük bulunduğundan seleksiyonun ileri generasyonlara bırakılmasının faydalı olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. Hem ortalama gözlem değerleri hem de kombinasyon yeteneği birlikte değerlendirildiğinde Krasunia ve Sana çeşitlerinin verim ve verim komponentlerini arttırmak için uygun ebeveynler olduğu saptanmıştır. Ortalama gözlem değerlerine ve özel kombinasyon yeteneği etkilerine göre incelenen özellikler için Krasunia x Pehlivan, Flamura-85 x Krasunia, Krasunia x Sana ve Pehlivan x Sana melezlerinin ümit var olduğu görülmüştür.

This study was carried out in order to determine the grain vitreousness percentage and stability performance of 44 durum wheat genotypes, which were tested in 3 different environments during 2 growing periods. Grain vitreousness percentage of the genotypes ranged between 69.2% and 90.0%. Svevo, Amanos 97, and Zenit varieties had the highest vitreousness kernel percentages and the lowest grain yields. The negative correlation coefficient between vitreous grain percentage and grain yield, according to correlation analysis, confirms this result. Mutant 47, Harran 95, Epidur, and Kızıltan 95 were the most stable genotypes with respect to all stability parameters studied for vitreousness. Therefore, they can be recommended for profitable grain yield and consistent quality durum wheat production in the north-western region of Turkey. Svevo, Amanos 97, Zenit, Gediz 75, Ankara 98, Mirzabey, and Fuatbey 2000 varieties could be used as progenitors in future breeding programmes due to their high grain vitreousness potentials.

In this study, the heterotic and heterobelthiotic performance of 22 bread wheat hybrids were evaluated for plant yield and some important yield components during 2006-07 growing season under Tekirdağ, Thrace conditions. Wide genetic variability was observed in the experimental material for the characters. The maximum heterosis and heterobelthiosis were recorded in Syrena x Bezostaja and Sana x Bezostaja (-5.05 and -14.01%) for plant height, Krasunia x Sana and Syrena x Krasunia (25.93 and 9.40%) for spike length, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja (26.96 and 26.56%) for grains/spike, Pehlivan x Krasunia (25.00 and 22.28%) for grain weight/spike, Bezostaja x Sana and Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 (8.62 and 5.45%) for 1000 grain weight, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja (9.28 and 9.14%) for harvest index and Pehlivan x Krasunia (27.85 and 24.10%) for grain yield/plant respectively. It is concluded that parents Pehlivan, Sana, Sadovo 1 and Krasunia should be utilized to improve certain traits in hybridization scheme and the hybrid combinations Sana x Bezostaja, Syrena x Krasunia, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja, Pehlivan x Krasunia and Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 could be recommended for improved yield and enhanced biological production of bread wheat. Bu çalışmada, 2006-07 yetiştirme döneminde Tekirdağ, Trakya koşullarında 22 ekmeklik buğday melezinin bitki verimi ve bazı önemli verim unsurları için heterotik ve heterobeltiotik performansları incelenmiştir. Deneme materyalinde incelenen özellikler için oldukça geniş bir genetik varyabilite gözlenmiştir. En yüksek heterosis ve heteroeltiosis oranları sırasıyla; bitki boyu için Syrena x Bezostaja ve Sana x Bezostaja’da (%-5.05 ve %-14.01), başak uzunluğu için Krasunia x Sana ve Syrena x Krasunia’ da (%25.93 ve %9.40), başakta tane sayısı için Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja’ da (%26.96 ve %26.56), başakta tane ağırlığı için Pehlivan x Krasunia’ da (%25.00 ve %22.28), 1000 tane ağırlığı için Bezostaja x Sana ve Bezostaja x Sadovo 1’de (%8.62 ve %5.45), hasat indeksi için Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja’da (%9.28 and %9.14) ve bitki verimi için Pehlivan x Krasunia’ da (%27.85 ve %24.10) hesaplanmıştır. Pehlivan, Sana, Sadovo 1 ve Krasunia anaçlarının melezleme çalışmalarında belirli özellikleri iyileştirmek için kullanılabileceği ve sırasıyla Sana x Bezostaja, Syrena x Krasunia, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja, Pehlivan x Krasunia ve Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 melez kombinasyonlarının ekmeklik buğdayda verim artışı için önerilebilecekleri sonucuna varılmıştır.

Variability of grain yield and some yield components of 17 durum wheat varieties with native and exotic originated was investigated. This research was performed under rainfed conditions in three different environments (Tekirdağ, Lüleburgaz and Edirne) during two growing years (2001-2002 and 2002-2003). Significant differences among cultivars, locations and production years were determined. The highest variations among characters were found in grain weight/spike, grains/spike, spike length and grain yield. In the first experimental year, there was a high positive significant correlation between grain yield and grain weight/spike, test weight and 1000 grain weight. In the second experimental year, grain yield showed positive and significant correlations with 1000 grain weight, test weight and stem length. The biggest differences among investigated cultivar of durum wheat were found in stem length, grains/spike and 1000 grain weight. Grain yield of examined cultivars depended mainly on 1000 grain weight, test weight, grain weight/spike and agroecological conditions during the growing period. However, location, production year and genotypes were the most important determinant of potential yield of cultivars. Ç 1252, Fuatbey 2000, Epidur, Kızıltan95, Aydın 93 and Altın 97 were found more suitable cultivars that the others for durum wheat production in Thrace Region. Çalışmada, yerli ve yabancı kökenli on yedi makarnalık buğday çeşitinde verim ve verim komponentlerinde değişim araştırılmıştır. Makarnalık buğday çeşitleri arasında en önemli varyasyon sap uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı ve 1000 tane ağırlığında bulunmuştur. Makarnalık buğday çeşitlerinde tane veriminin ana olarak 1000 tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, başakta tane sayısı ve yetişme periodu süresince agro ekolojik koşullarla bağıntılı olduğu bulunmuştur. Bununla yanında, lokasyon, yetiştirme yılı ve genotiplerde çeşitlerin verim potansiyallerini belirleyen önemli belirleyiciler olmuşlardır. Trakya bölgesi için Ç 1252, Fuatbey 2000, Epidur, Kızıltan 95 , Aydın 93 ve Altın 97 en uygun makarnalık buğday çeşitleri olarak bulunmuştur.

A total of 96 mutant lines were sown in augmented design with 4 check varieties without replications in 6 blocks. When mutants and control genotypes in the M5 generation were investigated for six characters, a considerable number of mutants within the desired characters were obtained. Application of mutation doses resulted in significantly short genotypes among the selected mutant genotypes in the M5. The majority of M4 mutant lines had suitable genotypes in terms of plant height and heading, test weight and a thousand kernel weights.

Ege ve Güney Marmara Bölgeleri 'nde halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkiler ve kullanım şekillerini belirlemeye yönelik çalışma, söz konusu bölgelerde 2002-2005 yıllarında dört yıl süre ile yürütülmüştür.Çalışma sonucu en fazla sayıda veri içeren Lamiaceae (Labiatae) familyasına ait bilgiler burada sunulmuştur. Bölge Merinden Afyon, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, İzmir, Manisa, Muğla ve Uşak'tan 20 'si bayan olmak üzere toplam 71 kişiden bilgi alınmış ve Lamiaceae familyasından bitkilerin halk ilacı olarak kullanımı ile ilgili 90 kayıt elde edilmiştir. En fazla bilgi 27 kayıt ile İzmir ilinden toplanırken,onu. 22 kayıt ile Muğla izlemiştir. Bilgi veren kişilerin eğitim düzeyleri farklı olup %56,34'nün ilköğretim, %16,90 fakülte mezunu olduğu, %7,04'nün ise okuryazar olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkilerin %83'ü doğadan toplama yolu ile elde edilirken, %17'si aktardan veya bahçeden temin edilmiştir. Bitkilerin %51,11'inin toprak üstü kısmından, %l 7,78 'inin yapraklarından,%13,33 'ünün de çiçeğinden yararlanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Bazı bitkilerin kullanımı ile ilgili tek bir kayıt bulunurken, en fazla Origanum, Lavandula ve Rosmarinus cins/türlerin kullanımları ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu türler için 90 kayıt içerisinde sırası ile 17, 17 ve 12 kayıt yer almıştır. Tedavide kullanılan bitkilerin bazıları yalnız kullanılırken, bazılarının diğer bitki türleri ile veya şeker, bal gibi katkı maddelerleri ile karıştırılması önerilmiştir. Tür teşhisi için uygun veya yeterli örneği bulunmayan ancak cins düzeyinde tespit edilebilen örneklerin kullanımları ile ilgili bilgiler burada sunulmamıştır., This study was conducted at Afyon, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, İzmir, Manisa, Muğla and Uşak provinces of Aegean and South Marmara regions for four years, between 2002 and 2005. The data belonging to Lamiaceae (Labiatae) was presented here. Total 90 usages was reported by 71 people, 20 female and 51 male, for 19 species. The highest number of information of plants was come from İzmir and Muğla with 27 and 22 acesssions, respectively. The majority of the people giving information were Elementary School graduated at the rate of 56,34%. The rate of College graduated ones was 16,90% while the rate of nonliterary people was only 7,04%. The plants used for healing were wild crafted at the rate of 83% or obtained from aktar, a shop selling herbs and spices, or from home garden at the rate of 17%. Aerial parts of plants were most frequently used parts. The usage rate of whole aerial parts, leaves and flowers were 51,11%, 17,78% and 13,33%, respectively. Some plants for indigenous remedies were reported more frequently than others. Those species were from genus Origanum, Lavandula and Rosmarinus with the number of 17, 17 and 12 out of 90, respectively. Some plants were used alone to prepare remedies while some were mixed with other plants or ingredents such as sugar and honey. The usage of plants that colud not be identified at species level but genus level due to improperly taken samples were not presented here.

Araştırmada kullanılan 10 baz uzunluğunda 10 primerden iyi sonuç veren 5'i değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Primerler genelinde, genotiplerin amplifikasyon bant sayıları 2-11 adet arasında değişmiştir. En çok polimorfik bant T5 primerinden elde edilmiştir.II Ekmeklik buğday genotiplerinde, en düşük benzerlik oranına (0.365) Mv-17 ve ME-2 (51) arasında ulaşılırken, IBWSN-69 ve Mv-17 kombinasyonu en yüksek genetik benzerlik oranını (0.946) vermiştir. Elde edilen dendograma göre genotipler başlıca 2 ana gruba ayrılmışlardır. Dendogramda, ö.genotip ikinci ana grupta ve 14'ü de ilk ana grupta yer almış ve bu iki grup arasındaki genetik benzerlik oram yaklaşık 0.660 olmuştur. Dendograma göre; Sana ve Flamura-80, Miryana ve ISWYN-29, ME-2 (51) ve IBWSN-58, Prostar ve Pehlivan, IBWSN-69 ve Mv-17 ve ISWYN-24 ve Saraybosna birbirine yakın akraba; Kate A-I ve IB WSN-62 en uzak akraba genotipler olmuşlardır. Denemede 2 yıl süre ile ele alınan verim ve verim unsurları yönünden araştırmaya alman hat ve çeşitlerde; tane verimi 388.17-655.83 kg/da arasında değişim göstermiş, en yüksek tane verimini Sana, Mv-17, ISWYN-14 genotipleri vermiştir. En büyük ortalamalar ISWYN-24, Bezostaja-1, IBWSN-42, Kate A-I, Miryana ve ISWYN-29 genotiplerinden elde edilmiştir. İncelenen hat ve çeşitlerde; başakta tane sayıları 34.12-53.27 adet arasında belirlenmiştir. Başakta tane sayısı bakımından en yüksek ortalama IBWSN-62, Mv-17, Sana, Kate A-I, Prostar ve IBWSN-42 genotiplerinde saptanmıştır. Başakta tane ağırlığı açısından denemeye alınan genotipler 1.67-2.41 g arasında değerler almışlardır. Sana ve Mv-17 en yüksek ortalamaları vermişlerdir. Metrekarede başak sayısı yönünden yalnız yıllar önemli bulunmuştur. Genotipler, 1999 yılında 358.33-493.33 adet, 2000'de 520.00-765.00 adet arasında metrekarede başak sayılarına sahip olmuşlardır. İlk yıl ISWYN-14, IBWSN-58 ve Pehlivan ikinci yılda ise Mv-17 en yüksek ortalamayı vermiştir. Araştırmaya alınan hat ve çeşitlerde; başaklanma gün sayısı ortalamaları 169.17- 176.50 gün arasında hesaplanmıştır. En düşük başaklanma gün sayısı değerleri ISWYN- 14, ME-2 (51), ISWYN-9, IBWSN-58, IBWSN-62 ve ISWYN-24'ten elde edilmiştir.Denemede incelenen genotiplerin olgunlaşma gün sayıları 45.00-52.50 gün arasında değişim göstermiştir. En uzun olgunlaşma süresine sahip genotipler Bezostaja-1, Mv-17, ISWYN-14 ve Kate A-I olmuştur. Araştırmaya alman hat ve çeşitlerde; tane verimi ile başakta tane ağırlığı, metrekarede başak sayısı ve başaklanma gün sayısı arasında önemli ve olumlu; olgunlaşma gün sayısı, bitki boyu ve başakta tane sayısı arasında önemsiz ancak olumlu ve başak uzunluğu ile önemsiz ve olumsuz ikili ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Araştırmada incelenen kalite özeliklerinden çeşit ve hatlarda bin tane ağırlığı 34.92-47.96 g arasında değişmiştir. En yüksek bin tane ağırlığı Flamura-85, Pehlivan, Bezostaja-1 ve Flamura-80 çeşitlerinden elde edilmiştir. Hektolitre ağırlığı bakımından denemeye alınan genotipler 78.33-82.82 kg arasında değişim göstermiş, en yüksek değerler IBWSN-42, ISWYN-9 ve ISWYN-29 hatlarında hesaplanmıştır. Genotiplerin un verimleri % 65.63-72.35 arasında bulunmuş ve un verimi yönünden en yüksek değerleri ME-2 (51), IBWSN-62 ve IBWSN-58 hatları vermişlerdir. Protein oranları açısmdan denemeye alman genotipler % 10.60-12.30 arasında değerlere sahip olmuşlardır. En yüksek protein oranı Bezostaja-1 ve IBWSN-42'de saptanmıştır. İncelenen hat ve çeşitlerde; yaş gluten oram % 21.93-27.97 arasında değişim göstermiştir. En yüksek yaş gluten oranına sahip genotipler olarak ISWYN-14, ISWYN- 9, ISWYN-29IBWSN-42 ve IBWSN-62 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmada 51.67-96.33 arasında değişen gluten indeksi yönünden, incelenen genotiplerden ME-7 (274) ve Flamura-85 hariç diğerler genotipler uygun değerler (60- 90) vermişlerdir. Düşme sayısmda elde edilen değerler 339.67-443.50 sn arasında değişmiştir. Arzu edilen (200-250 sn) sınırlara en yakın sonuçlar IBWSN-69, ISWYN-24, Mv-17, ME-2 (51) ve Flamura-80'den alınmıştır. Denemede sediamtasyon değerleri 21.83-31.67 mi arasında değişmiştir. En yüksek ortalamalar Flamura-85, IBWSN-62 ve IBWSN-58 genotiplerinde saptanmıştır. Araştırmada incelenen genotiplerde; gecikmeli sedimantasyon ortalamaları 18.50- 34.83 mi arasında değişmiştir. En yüksek gecikmeli sedimantasyon değerleri Flamura-85 ve IBWSN-62'de belirlenmiştir.IV Enerji değerleri bakımından incelenen hat ve çeşitler 91.17-231.67 10 joules arasında ortalamalara sahip olmuşlardır. Kate A-I, ISWYN-24 ve IBWSN-62 en uygun ortalamaları vermişlerdir. İncelen çeşit ve hatlarda; direnç değerleri 47.92-90.48 mm arasında değişim göstermiştir. IBWSN-42, ME-7 (274) ve Kate A-I en iyi direnç değerini vermiştir. Denemeye alınan genotiplerin elastikiyet ortalamaları 37.94-91.05 mm arasında değişim göstermiştir. Miryana, IBWSN-58 veISWYN-14 en büyük ortalamaları vermişlerdir. Araştırmada ele alman çeşit ve hatlarda; direnç/elastikiyet değerleri 0.58-2.40 arasında değişmiştir. İstenilen orana (0.81) en yakın değerleri Pehlivan, Sana, Prostar, IBWSN-62 ve IBWSN-42 vermiştir. Hamur hacmi açısmdan denemeye alman genotipler, 13.83-36.50 cm2 arasında ortalamalara sahip olmuşlardır. Flamura-80, IBWSN-58, ISWYN-14, Bezostaja-1, Saraybosna ve Flamura-85 en yüksek hamur hacimlerini vermişlerdir. Kabarma indeksleri yönünden incelene hat ve çeşitlerin ortalamaları 13.67-21.65 cm3 arasında değişmiştir. En yüksek değerleri Flamura-85, Miryana ve IBWSN-58 vermişlerdir. Araştırmada incelenen genotipler arasında Flamura-80, Flamura-85, Bezostaja-1, ISWYN-14, IBWSN-42 ve IBWSN-58 ele alman tüm kalite özellikleri yönünden en iyi, IBWSN-62, ISWYN-9 ve ISWYN-29 ise ümitli hatlar olarak belirlenmiştir. KORKUT In this study, it was aimed to determine genetic distances, yield and yield components, and quality properties of ten bread wheat varieties and ten lines developed from CIMMYT material through selection by defining them in molecular level using RAPD method. This research was conducted in experimentation fields of Field Crops Department of Tekirdağ Agricultural Faculty at Trakya University in the growing years of 1999 and 2000 based on the random blocks of experimentation design with three replications. Five primers, out of ten primers in ten base length used in the research, giving good results were taken into consideration. The number of amplified bands of genotypes ranged from 2 to 1 1 in the primers. The most polymorphic bands were obtained from T5 primer. The lowest similarity (0.365) was found between Mv-17 and ME-2 (51), theVI highest similarity (0.946) was found between IBWSN-69 and Mv-17 combination in the bread wheat genotypes. Genotypes were categorised mainly into two groups based on the dendogram results. Six genotypes took place in the second group and 14 genotypes took place in the first group, and the average similarity between these two groups was 0.660. Sana and Flamura-80; Miryana and ISWYN-29; ME-2 (51) and IBWSN-58; Prostar and Pehlivan; IBWSN-69 and Mv-17; ISWYN-24 and Saraybosna genotypes were closely related while Kate A-I and IBWSN-62 were the most divergent. After evaluating yield and yield characters of the lines and varieties included in the study for a period of two years: grain yield changed between 388.17 - 655.83 kg/da and the genotypes of Sana, Mv-17, and ISWYN-14 respectively produced the highest yields. Also, the lines of IBWSN-58 and ISWYN-9 were determined as promising lines for the region. Plant height was found between 77.00 - 114.33 cm in the genotypes included in the study. Saraybosna and Sana produced the lowest plant height. In general, the lines had appropriate plant heights for the region. Values of spike length ranged between 7.67 - 10.58 cm. The highest averages were obtained from the genotypes of ISWYN-24, Bezostaja-1, IBWSN-42, Kate A-I, Miryana and ISWYN-29. The number of grains per spike in the examined lines and varieties was determined between 34.12 - 53.27. The highest averages of the number of grains per spike were measured for the genotypes of IBWSN-62, Mv-17, Sana, Kate A- I, Prostar and IBWSN-42, respectively. When the genotypes were examined in terms of their grain weight per spike, they ranged between 1.67 - 2.41 g. Sana and Mv-17 resulted in the highest means. In terms of the number of spike per square meter, only the years were found significant. Genotypes had 358.33 - 493.33 number of spike per square meter in the year 1999 while they had 620.00 - 765.00 spikes per square meter in the year 2000. ISWYN-14, IBWSN-58 and Pehlivan in the first year and Mv-17 in the second year produced the highest average. Averages of the number of days of heading in the lines and varieties studied were calculated between 169.17 - 176.50 days. The values of the lowest number of days of heading were obtained from ISWYN-14, ME-2 (51), ISWYN-9, IBWSN-58, IBWSN- 62 and ISWYN-24, respectively.VII The number of days of maturing of the genotypes investigated in the experiment changed between 45.00 - 52.50. The genotypes that had the longest period of maturation were Bezostaja-1, Mv-17, ISWYN-14 and Kate A-I. In the lines and varieties studied, significant and positive relations between grain yield and grain weight per spike, and between the number of spike per square meter and the number of days of heading were found while insignificant but positive relations, between the number of days of maturing and plant height, and the number of grains per spike were determined. On the other hand, insignificant and negative relations were determined between grain yield and spike length. From the quality properties of the varieties and lines examined in the study, thousand kernel weight ranged between 34.92 - 47.96 g. The highest thousand kernel weights were obtained from Flamura-85, Pehlivan, Bezostaja-1 and Flamura-80, respectively. Genotypes included in this study in terms of test weight ranged between 78.33 - 82.82 kg. The highest values of test weight were calculated from the lines of IBWSN-42, ISWYN-9 and ISWYN-29, respectively. Flour yields of genotypes were found between 65.63 - 72.35 percentage and the highest flour yield values were maintained by the lines of ME-2 (51), IBWSN-62 and IBWSN-58. Genotypes included the study from protein rates point of view had values between 10.60 - 12.30 %. The highest protein rates were determined in Bezostaja-1 and IBWSN- 42. In the lines and varieties studied, wet gluten rate changed between 21.93 - 27.97 %. The genotypes that had the highest wet gluten rate were ISWYN-14, ISWYN-9, ISWYN-29, IBWSN-42 and IBWSN-62, respectively. According to gluten index changing between 51.67 - 96.33 in the research, all the genotypes investigated except ME-7 (274) and Flamura-85 produced appropriate values (60-90). Values obtained for falling number ranged between 339.67 - 443.50 second. The nearest means to wished limits (200 - 250 second) were determined in the genotypes of IBWSN-69, ISWYN-24, Mv-17, ME-2 (51) and Flamura-80, respectively. Sedimentation values in this experiment, changed between 21.83 - 31.67 ml. The highest averages were determined in the genotypes of Flamura-85, IBWSN-62 andVIII IBWSN-58. Retarded sedimentation averages in the genotypes covered in this study ranged between 18.50 - 34.83 ml. The highest retarded sedimentation values were obtained from Flamura-85 and IBWSN-62. Lines and varieties examined for their energy values had averages between 91.17 - 231.67 10`4 joules. Kate A-I, ISWYN-24 and IBWSN-62 resulted in the most appropiate means. Resistance values in the genotypes studied ranged between 47.92 - 90.48 mm. IBWSN-42, ME-7 (274) and Kate A-I produced the best resistance averages. Means of elasticity values of the genotypes studied changed between 37.94 - 91.05 mm. Miryana, IBWSN-58 and ISWYN-14 resulted in the highest averages. Resistance/Elasticity values for the varieties and lines investigated ranged between 0.58 - 2.40. The closest values to the desired rate (0.81) were obtained from Pehlivan, Sana, Prostar, IBWSN-62 and IBWSN-42. Genotypes included in the study in terms of their dough volume had averages between 13.83 - 36.50 cm2. Flamura-80, IBWSN-58, ISWYN-14, Bezostaja-1, Saraybosna and Flamura-85 gave the highest dough volumes. Averages of the lines and varieties studied for their swelling indexes ranged between 13.67 - 21.65 cm3. Flamura-85, Miryana and IBWSN-58 produced the highest values. Among the genotypes included in this study; Flamura-80, Flamura-85, Bezostaja- 1, ISWYN-14, IBWSN-42 and IBWSN-58 were determined as the best genotypes in terms of all the quality properties considered, while the lines of IBWSN-62, ISWYN-9 and ISWYN-29 were obtained as the promising lines. These genotypes are, Çakmak 79, Diyarbakır 81, Dack/Rabi//Yavaros, AA/Vol//Flg..., Hacımestan, Kundura 1 149, Dicle 74, Gediz 75, Corifla and Sham I. Adaptation abilityV on location of genotypes with respect to grain yield, plant heigh, number of grains per spike, 1000 grain weight, harvest index and number of days to heading were demonestrated according to stability parameters of Wricke (1962), Finlay and Wilkinson (1963), Eberhart and Russell (1966), Perkins and Jinks (1968), Baker (1969), Hanson (1970), Shukla (1972) and Francis and Kannenberg (1978). Multiple variance analysis were made on data collected from the trails that were carried out in three location for a period of two years. Effects of genotype x environment interactions (ecovalance value), regression coefficient, mean square devition from regression, oclit distance, variance, variation coefficient and order of genotype means were estimated through to way table which were prepared on locations and years. The results so obtained were summarized as follow. 1. Adaptation abilities of genotypes on environment dependent upon interactions that each genotype took place with environments, while genotype x environments interactions were found significat amongst all traits. 2. The variety Gediz 75 was found the most stable genotype for grain yield according to 8 stability methods used in this study. 3. For plant height, Corifla was observed as stable genotype on all environments in respecty parameters given by Wricke (1962), Finlay and Wilkinson (1963), Eberhart and Russell (1966), Perkins and Jinks (1968), Baker (1969), Hanson (1970), Shukla (1972) and Francis and Kannenberg (1978), while Çakmak 79 showed the best adaptation ability. For number of grains per spike, variety Sham I as to method given by Finlay and Wilkinson (1963) and Dicle 74 in respect of other all methods were found as the most stable genotypes. Hacimestan indicated the most adaptation ability considering whole methods for 1000 grain weight. Corifla as to Finlay and Wilkinson (1963), Gediz 75 in respect of Francis and Kannenberg (1978) and Sham I according to other methods were found as the most stable genotypes in order of harvest index. About number of days emergence-heading, Dack/Rabi//Yavaros as to Finlay and Wilkinson (1963), Corifla considering Francis and Kannenberg (1978) and Sham I in respect of other methods became genotypes which shown good adaptation ability to all environments. 4. According to the results of regression coefficient this experiments conducted by Finlay and Wilkinson (1963), Eberhart and Russell (1966), Perkins and Jinks (1968) and Baker (1969) there was a similar ranking of genotypic adaptation.VI 5. The results derived from the mean square deviation of regression given by Eberhartand Russell (1966), Perkins and Jinks (1968) and Baker (1969) were found to be similar. 6. Properly, results from the methods given by Francis and Kannenberg (1978) found to be different than those of all other methods under discussion. 7. In research, between method of Finlay and Wilkinson (1963) and method of Eberhart and Russell (1966), Perkins and Jinks (1968) and Baker (1969) was shown a matematical relation as to regression coefficient. 8. According to the mean of genotypes which becomes significant stability parameter for traits such as plant height and number of days to heading, genotypes can be more suitable to consider genotypes which have lower value than the general mean. Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü'nde 2019-2020 yetiştirme döneminde tesadu¨f bloklarında bölünmüş parseller deneme desenine go¨re 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülen bu çalışmada, 5 adet farklı ekmeklik buğday ticari çeşidi ve bu çeşitlerin 60Co kaynağından 4 farklı gama dozu (100, 200, 300 ve 400 Gy) uygulaması ile elde edilmiş olan 20 adet M4 populasyonu materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada incelenen tane verimi ve kalite özellikleri için genotip ve mutasyon dozu ortalamaları arasındaki farklılıklar ile başakta tane sayısı ve yaş gluten oranı hariç diğer tüm özellikler için genotip x doz interaksiyonu istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Genel olarak kontrolle karşılaştırıldığında düzenli olmamakla birlikte; gama ışını dozlarının bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta tane ağırlığı, protein oranı, yaş gluten oranı, zeleny sedimantasyon değeri, enerji değeri ve tane sertliği için pozitif yönde değiştirici ve başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, bin tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, hektolitre ağırlığı ve tane verimi için ise negatif yönde değiştirici etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ekmeklik buğday mutasyon ıslahı çalışmalarında verim ve verim kompanentlerinin iyileştirilmesi için 100 ile 200 Gy arasında gama ışını dozlarının, tane kalite özelliklerinin iyileştirilmesi için de 300 ile 400 Gy arasında gama ışını dozlarının daha etkili sonuçlar oluşturabileceği anlaşılmıştır. Çalışmamızda fenotipik varyasyon katsayısı (PCV) değerleri (%1,47-14,90) ile genotipik varyasyon katsayısı (GCV) değerleri (%1,31-14,29) orta ve düşük olarak tahmin edilmiştir. Geniş anlamda kalıtım derecesi ve %10 seleksiyon şiddetinde beklenen genetik ilerleme değerleri sırasıyla %53,66-96,31 ve %0,53-67,85 arasında değişmiştir. Yüksek kalıtım derecesi ile birlikte yüksek genetik ilerlemenin tahmin edildiği alveograf enerji değeri için seleksiyonun M4 generasyonunda etkili olabileceği görülmektedir. Başakta tane sayısı ve tane sertliği değeri için yüksek kalıtım derecesi değeri ile orta genetik ilerlemenin tahmin edilmiş olması bu özellikler için seleksiyonun sonraki generasyolara bırakılmasının daha uygun olabileceğini göstermektedir. In this study, which was carried out in the 2019-2020 growing season in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops as split plots design in randomized blocks with 4 replications 5 commercial wheat varieties and 20 M4 populations obtained from their 60Co source with 4 different gamma doses (100, 200, 300 and 400 Gy) were used as material. Differences between genotype and mutation dose averages for grain yield and quality traits examined in the study, and genotype x dose interaction were found to be statistically significant for all traits except the number of grains per spike and wet gluten ratio. Generally not regular; gamma ray doses shifted positive direction for plant height, spike length, grain weight per spike, protein content, wet gluten content, zeleny sedimentation value, energy value and grain hardness, and shifted negative direction for spikelet number per spike, number of grain per spike, thousand grain weight, harvest index, test weight and grain yield compared to control. In bread wheat mutation breeding studies, it has been understood that gamma ray doses between 100 and 200 Gy for improving yield and yield components and gamma ray doses between 300 and 400 Gy for improving grain quality characteristics can produce results that are more effective. Broad sense heritability and expected genetic progression values at %10 selection severity varied between %53.66-%96.31 and %0.53-%67.85, respectively. It is seen that selection for alveograph energy value, which predicts high genetic advance with high heritability, may be effective in M4 generation. High heritability and moderate genetic advance values were estimated for the number of grains per spike and grain hardness, indicating that it may be more appropriate the selection for these traits to delay the next generations.

Bu çalışma, farklı orijinli dokuz buğday (Triticum aestivum L.) genotipinin resiproksuz yarım diallel melez F2 döllerinde bazı agronomik ve kalite özellikleri bakımından kombinasyon yetenekleri ve heterosis değerlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla 2019-2020 yetiştirme sezonunda Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri deneme alanında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, bin tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, tane verimi, hektolitre, yaş gluten oranı, sedimantasyon, protein içeriği özellikleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen her özellik için kombinasyon yetenekleri analizleri, Griffing Metot II, Model I e göre yapılmıştır. İncelenen tüm özellikler için anaçların Genel ve Özel Kombinasyon Yeteneği etkileri istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Genel Kombinasyon Yetenekleri göz önüne alındığında verimi artırmaya yönelik ıslah programlarında Maden ve NKÜ Ergene ve Glosa çeşitlerinin, kaliteyi artırmaya yönelik ıslah programlarında ise Segor ve Maden çeşitlerinin anaç olarak kullanılmasının uygun olacağı görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada incelenen tüm özellikler bakımından ?2GKY /?2ÖKY oranı birden büyük bulunmuştur. Bu değer kalıtımda tüm karakterler bakımından eklemeli gen etkilerinin söz konusu olduğunu ifade etmektedir. This study was carried out in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Agriculture in the 2019-2020 growing season in order to examine the combination abilities and heterosis values in terms of some agronomic and quality traits in non-reciprocal half diallel hybrid F2 progeny of nine wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes of different origins. In the study, plant height, spike length, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, thousand grain weight, harvest index, grain yield, test weight, wet gluten ratio, sedimentation, protein ratio traits were investigated. Combination abilities analyzes for each character examined were made according to Griffin Method II, Model I. The effects of general combining ability of parents and specific combining ability of hybrids were found to be statistically significant in all examined characters. Considering their general combination abilities of Maden, NKU Ergene and Glosa varieties can be used succesfully at breedind programs for incresing yield. Also Segor, and Maden varieties can be used atbreeding programs for increasing quality. The General Combination Abilities/Special Combination Abilities ratio was found to be greater from 1 for the characters in the study. This value indicates that there are additive gene effects in inheritance for all characters.

Araştırma, 2018-2019 ve 2019-2020 yetiştirme dönemlerinde Tekirdağ ekolojik koşullarında 10 u yurtiçi ve 5 i yurtdışı kaynaklı olmak üzere toplam 15 ekmeklik buğday çeşidi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemeye alınan ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin tane verimi ve bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak fertilite indeksi, başak indeksi, hasat indeksi ve bin tane ağırlığı gibi verim unsurları incelenmiştir. İncelenen özellikler bakımından çeşitlerin ortalamaları arasındaki farklılıklar ile yıl x çeşit interaksiyonları 0.01 olasılık düzeyinde istatistiki anlamda önemli bulunmuştur. Yıllar arasında ortalama farklılıklar başakta tane ağırlığı ve başak indeksi için 0.05 düzeyinde önemli iken diğer özellikler için 0.01 düzeyinde önemli bulunmuştur. İki yetiştirme mevsimi süresince yürütülen denemelerden elde edilen veriler üzerinden ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, başak indeksi, başak fertilite indeksi, bin tane ağırlığı ve tane verimi ortalamaları sırasıyla 75,2 ile 97,7 cm, 8,57 ile 11,25 cm, 18,13 ile 21,95 adet, 42,9 ile 56,8 adet, 1,865 ile 2,452 g, 44,10 ile 48,90, 76,42 ile 81,41, 64,03 ile 85,25, 36,2 ile 50,5 g ve 614,7 ile 769,3 kg da-1 arasında değişmiştir. Sonuç olarak tane verimi ve incelenen verim komponentleri birlikte değerlendirildiğinde Glosa, Prima, NKÜ Lider, Rumeli, Orfeas ve Gogas R2 ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin diğer çeşitlere oranla daha yüksek performansa sahip oldukları ve bu çeşitlerin başta Trakya bölgesi olmak üzere ülkemizin ekmeklik buğday üretim bölgelerine en uygun çeşitler olabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır. The research was carried out in Tekirdag ecological conditions in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 growing seasons with a total of 15 bread wheat varieties, 10 of which are domestic and 5 of which are from abroad, in a randomized block design with 3 replications. Grain yield and some yield components such as plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, spike fertility index, spike index, harvest index and thousand grain weight of bread wheat varieties included in the experiment were investigated. The differences between the averages of the cultivars and the year x cultivar interactions were found to be statistically significant at the 0.01 probability level in terms of the traits examined. While the mean differences between years were significant at the level of 0.05 for grain weight pers pike and spike index, it was significant at the level of 0.01 for other characters. Based on the data obtained from the trials carried out during two growing seasons, the averages of plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, harvest index, spike index, spike fertility index, thousand grain weight and grain yield of the bread wheat varieties examined changed from 75,2 ile 97,7 cm, 8,57 ile 11,25 cm, 18,13 ile 21,95 adet, 42,9 ile 56,8 adet, 1,865 ile 2,452 g, 44,10 ile 48,90, 76,42 ile 81,41, 64,03 ile 85,25, 36,2 ile 50,5 g ve 614,7 ile 769,3 kg da-1, respectively. As a result, when the grain yield and the examined yield components are evaluated together, it was concluded that there may be varieties Glosa, Prima, NKÜ Lider, Rumeli, Orfeas and Gogas R2 bread wheat varieties have higher performance than other varieties and these are the most suitable for the bread wheat production regions of our country, especially the Thrace region.

Araştırma, 2016-2017 yetiştirme döneminde Tekirdağ, Kırklareli-Lüleburgaz ve Edirne lokasyonlarında 7 si eski ve 13 ü yeni olmak üzere toplam 20 ekmeklik buğday çeşidi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemeye alınan ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin tane verimi ile bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi ve bin tane ağırlığı gibi verim unsurları ortalamaları sırasıyla 515,2 kg da-1 ile 830,8 kg da-1, 73,0 cm ile 102,1 cm, 8,75 cm ile 10,77 cm, 18,4 ile 22,55 adet, 33,70 ile 52,90 adet, 1,721 ile 2,327 g, % 39,77 ile % 50,87 ve 41,50 ile 53,26 g arasında değişmiştir. Tane verimi ve verim unsurları açısından dikkat çeken yeni çeşitler Glosa, NKÜ Lider, Delebrad 2, Saban, Maden, Yüksel, Köprü, Maya ve Bora olmuştur. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin gluten oranı, gluten indeksi, zeleny sedimentasyon değeri, gluten/protein oranı, sedimentasyon/protein oranı ve protein oranı ortalamaları sırasıyla % 26,33 ile % 37,89 arasında, 70,9 ile 92,6 arasında, 31,78 ile 62,89 arasında, 2,14 ile 2,64 arasında, 2,57 ile 4,38 arasında ve % 12,26 ile % 15,20 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Enargo, Saban, NKÜ Ergene, Lazarka, Deya yeni çeşitlerinin ekmeklik kalitelerinin diğer çeşitlere oranla daha iyi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmeler ışığında tane verimi ve kalite özellikleri birlikte değerlendirildiğinde ise, Glosa, Maden, Saban, Lazarka, Yüksel, Delebrad 2, NKÜ Ergene, Enargo, Köprü ve NKÜ Lider ekmeklik buğday yeni çeşitlerinin diğer eski ve yeni çeşitlere oranla daha yüksek performansa sahip oldukları ve bu çeşitlerin başta Trakya bölgesi olmak üzere ülkemizin ekolojik olarak uygun diğer bölgelerindeki ekmeklik buğday üretimi amacıyla en uygun çeşitler olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. The study was carried out with a total of 20 bread wheat varieties including 13 newly registreted and 7 obsolete varieties as a randomized block design with 3 replications during 2016-2017 growing season in Tekirdağ, Kırklareli-Lüleburgaz and Edirne locations. The averages of grain yield, and yield components such as plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, harvest index and thousand grain weight of the bread wheat varieties examined changed from 515,2 kg da-1 to 830,8 kg da-1, 73,0 cm to 102,1 cm, 8,75 cm to 10,77 cm, 18,4 to 22,55 unit, 33,70 to 52,90 unit, 1,721 to 2,327 g, 39,77% to 50,87% and 41,50 ile 53,26 g, respectively. Glosa, NKÜ Lider, Delebrad 2, Saban, Maden, Yüksel, Köprü, Maya and Bora have been the new varieties that attract attention in terms of grain yield and yield components. Wet gluten content, gluten index, zeleny sedimentation value, ratio of gluten to protein, ratio of sedimentation to protein and protein content averages of the bread wheat varieties used ranged between 26,33% ile 37,89%, 70,9 and 92,6, 31,78 ml and 62,89 ml, 2,14 and 2,64, 2,57 and 4,38, and 12,26% and 15,20%, respectively. It has been determined that bread-making quality of the new varieties of Enargo, Saban, NKÜ Ergene, Lazarka, Deya is better than other varieties. In the light of the evaluation of yield and bread-making quality characteristics, Glosa, Maden, Saban, Lazarka, Yüksel, Delebrad 2, NKÜ Ergene, Enargo, Köprü ve NKÜ Lider were found to be high performance varieties compared to other varieties. It was concluded that these lines could be considered as a candidate of bisquit variety and sent for the formal registration process. It is concluded that these varieties will be the most appropriate varieties for the production of bread wheat in other ecologically appropriate regions of our country, especially in Thrace region. 138

Araştırma, 2015-2016 yetiştirme döneminde Bergama, Manisa ve Konya ekolojik koşullarında Polen Tohumculuk Ltd. Şti.tarafından geliştirilmiş olan 9 atdişi tek melez ve 3 standart çeşit olmak üzere toplam 12 mısır genotipi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada kullanılan atdişi mısır genotiplerinin bitki boyu 325.0 cm ile 368.9 cm arasında, sap çapı 25.1 mm ile 27 mm arasında, koçan ağırlığı 336.4 g ile 363 g arasında, sap ağırlığı 417.9 g ile 489.6 g arasında, yaprak sayısı 14.9 ile 16.7 adet arasında, yaprak ağırlığı 201 g ile 171 g arasında, parseldeki koçan sayısı 65,8 adet ile 62,6 adet arasında, ilk koçan yüksekliği 123.3 cm ile 164.4 cm arasında, yeşil ot verimi 9270.3 g ile 8412.1 g arasında, kuru madde verimi 2411.6 g ile 2910.7 g arasında, kuru madde oranı %28,2 ile %32,3 arasında, ham kül oranı %6.2 ile %9.4 arasında, ADF %19,3 ile %26,8 arasında ve NDF %36,2 ile %45,6 arasında ve ham protein oranı %7.4 ile %8.8 arasında değişmiştir. Buna göre PL3145, PL2914 ve PL2948 çeşitleri verim ve kalite yönünden Bergama, Manisa ve Konya ekolojik şartlarında yetiştirilebilecek uygun silaj mısır çeşit adayları olarak ön plana çıkmıştır. The averages of the dent corn genotypes examined, ranged from 325.0 cm to 368.9 cm for plant height, ranged from 25.1 mm to 27 mm for stem diameter, ranged from 336.4 g to 363 g for ear weight, ranged from 417.9 g to 489.6 g for stem weight, ranged from 14.9 to 16.7 unit for number of leaves per plant, ranged from 201 g to 171 g for leaves weight per plant, ranged from 65,8 unit to 62,6 unit for number of ear per plot, ranged from 123.3 cm to 164.4 cm for first ear height, ranged from 9270.3 g to 8412.1 g for green forage yield, ranged from 2411.6 g to 2910.7 kg da-1 for dry matter yield, ranged from %28,2 to %32,3 for dry matter ratio, ranged from %6.2 to%9.4 for crude ash ratio, ranged from %19,3 to %26,8 for ADF, ranged from %36,2 to %45,6 for NDF and ranged from %7.4 to %8.8 for crude protein ratio, respectively. In the light of the evaluation of silage yield and quality characteristics, PL3145, PL2914 ve PL2948 single hybrid were found to be high performance and appropriate and to be grown in Bergama, Manisa and Konya ecological conditions compared to other lines and standarts.

Araştırma, 2014-2015 yetiştirme döneminde Eskişehir İli Hamidiye ve KarabayırlokasyonlarındaEskişehir Geçit Kuşağı Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü tarafından geliştirilmiş olan yumuşak tane yapısına sahip 20 ileri hat ve 4 standart çeşit olmak üzere toplam 24 ekmeklik buğday genotipi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür.Denemeye alınan bisküvilik buğday genotiplerinin tane verimi ile başaklanma gün sayısı, bitki boyu ve bin tane ağırlığı gibi verim komponentleri ortalamaları sırasıyla 200,0kg da-1 ile 442,5kg da-1, 138,75 ile 143,00 gün, 83,96 ile 110,10 cm ve 32,67 ile 48,61 g arasında değişmiştir.Araştırmada materyal olarak kullanılan bisküvilik buğday genotiplerinin hektolitre ağırlığı, tane sertliği, C-SDS değerleri, protein oranı, zelenysedimentasyon değeri, kül oranı, laktik asit STK, sakkaroz STK, sodyum karbonat STK ve su STK ortalamaları sırasıyla 82,40 kg hl-1 ile 75,25 kg hl-1, % 17,08 ile % 39,68, 5,06 ile 8,63 ml, % 11,75 ile % 12,75, 20,63 ml ile 33,00 ml, % 0,478 ile % 0,610, %86,68 ile %112,83, %79,95 ile %89,29, % 79,52 ile % 94,83 ve % 58,18 ile % 65,14 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmeler ışığında tane verimi ve kalite özellikleri birlikte değerlendirildiğinde ise, BİS-1, BİS-2, BİS-3, BİS-17, BİS-18, BİS-19, BİS-22 ve BİS-23 hatları diğer bisküvilik hatlara göre yüksek performansa sahip olmuşlardır. Bu araştırma, özellikle Trakya Bölgesi (Edirne, Tekirdağ ve Kırklareli) için melezlerden geliştirilmiş 12 ileri ekmeklik buğday hattı (3 doubled haploid hat, 3 ileri hat, 3 mutant hat, 3 türler arası melez) ve 3 yaygın olarak yetiştirilen ticari çeşit olmak üzere yakın akrabalık derecesi bulunmayan 15 ekmeklik buğday genotipi ile birçok özellik bakımından farklılık gösteren 4 ticari çeşit (tester) arasında yapılan line x tester melezlemelerle oluşturulan F1 döllerinde bazı tarımsal özellikler incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışma ile a) anaçların (hat ve tester) genel kombinasyon ve melezlerin özel kombinasyon yeteneklerinin saptanması, b) melez kombinasyonlarının heterosis ve heterobeltiosis değerlerinin belirlenmesi ve c) ümitli melez kombinasyonları ve uygun anaçlar (hat ve tester) seçilerek büyük bir ekmeklik buğday üretim potansiyeli olan Trakya-Marmara Bölgesi için uygun çeşit geliştirme çalışmalarına katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. 2014-2015 yetiştirme yılında yapılan melezlemelerden elde edilen altmış melez kombinasyonu ve on dokuz anaç (hat ve tester) tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri deneme alanında 2015-2016 yetiştirme döneminde denemeye alınmıştır. Denemeden her parselden alınan tesadüf örneklerinde bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak sıklığı, başak indeksi, bin tane ağırlığı, hektolitre, hasat indeksi ve tane verimi gibi tarımsal özelliklerine ilişkin tartım, ölçüm ve hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. İncelenen özelliklere ilişkin melez ve anaçların kombinasyon yetenekleri, heterosis ve heterobeltiosis değerleri hesaplanmıştır. İncelenen tüm özellikler için anaç ve testerlerin Genel Kombinasyon Yeteneği etkileri ile melezlerin Özel Kombinasyon Yeteneği etkileri istatistiki olarak önemli olmuştur. Bu yüzden yeterli varyasyonun sağlanabilmesi için elde edilen melez kombinasyonlarında seleksiyona F2 generasyonundan sonraki generasyonlarda başlanılmasının (F3-F4) uygun olacağı söylenebilir.Anahtar kelimeler: Ekmeklik buğday, line x tester, kombinasyon yeteneği, heterosis, heterobeltiosis, tane verimi, verim unsurları 2017, 79 sayfa This research was carried out in order to investigate some agricultural characteristics in F1 generations formed by line x tester cross fashion made between 15 bread wheat genotypes (3 doubled haploid lines, 3 advanced lines, 3 mutant lines, 3 interspecies hybrids and 3 widely cultivated commercial varieties) with no close relationship and developed by different breeding methods for Trakya Region (Edirne, Tekirdağ and Kırklareli) and 4 commercial varieties (tester) with different characteristics. It was aimed to contribute to the appropriate variety development studies by a) determining the general combination abilities of parents (lines and testers) and specific combination abilities of the cross combinations, b) determining the heterosis and heterobeltiosis values of cross combinations, and c) selecting promising hybrid combinations and appropriate parents for the Thrace-Marmara Region, which has the potential to produce a large bread wheat. Sixty cross combinations obtained from 2014-2015 growing year and nineteen parents (line and tester) were tested in the experimental field of Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department in 2015-2016 growing year. It was performed weighing, measuring and calculation related to agricultural characteristics such as plant height, spike length, number of spikelet per spike, number of grain per spike, grain weight per spike, spike density, spike index, thousand kernel weight, test weight, harvest index and grain yield in random samples taken from every plot of experiment. Combination abilities and heterosis and heterobeltiosis values of cross combinations and parents (line and tester) were calculated for the traits examined. The effect of general combination ability for parents and the effect of special combination ability were statistically important for the character investigated. Considering the General Combination Abilities, it has been found that in the breeding programs aiming to increase the yield, the parents of 4164-36, Renan, NZFMT-15, NZFE-63, 4162-28 and NZFE-64 lines and varieties are considered to be important in evaluating the potential of these lines and tester. When combined evaluation with special combination capabilities and heterosis-heterobeltiosis values, NZFMT-21 x Renan, 4164-36 x Tekirdağ, NZFMT-15 x Esperia, 4166-1 x Renan, NZFMT-15 x Tekirdağ, Genesi x Esperia, NZFMT-21 x Tekirdağ, NZFE-55 x Tekirdağ, NZFE-63 x Tekirdağ, NZFE-63 x GK Szala, NZFE-55 x GK Szala, 4164-36 x GK Szala, NZFE-63 x Esperia, 4162-28 x Tekirdağ, 4166-1 x GK Szala, NZFMT-15 x GK Szala, NZFE-25 x Renan and NZFE-63 x Renan cross combinations, which have the highest performance in terms of yield and yield components, were found to be promising. For all the features examined σ2GKY/σ2ÖKY ratios were less than 1 and the (V2A/V2D)0.5 values were found to be greater than 1.0. These findings indicate that non-additive gene effects are the subject and there is superior dominance in inheritance of investigated characters for the genetic material used in experiment. Çalışmada iki farklı ekmeklik buğday ileri hattı materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Kontrol dahil sekiz farklı gamma ışını dozu (0, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400 Gy) uygulanmış ekmeklik buğday mutant populasyonlarının anter kültürüne yanıtları araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla erken tek çekirdekli dönemde ekmeklik buğday mutant populasyonlarından anterler W14F besi ortamına aktarılmış, anter kültürüne yanıtın belirlenebilmesi için anterlerden gelişen kallus sayısı ile kalluslardan gelişen albino bitkicik ve yeşil bitkicik sayısı, yeşil bitkiciklerden elde edilen seraya aktarılan bitki sayısı, haploid bitki sayısı ve spontan doubled-haploid bitki sayısı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada incelenen tüm anter kültürü özellikleri üzerine kullanılan genotiplerin (BSB ve FA) etkileri istatistiksel olarak önemsiz iken, genotiplere uygulanan gamma ışını dozları ve genotip x mutasyon dozu interaksiyonları etkileri istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur.Kontrol dozuna göre mutasyon uygulamaları ile BSB genotipinde kallus sayısı, yeşil bitkicik sayısı, seraya aktarılan yeşil bitkicik sayısı ve spontan doubled-haploid bitki sayılarındaki artışlara rağmen albino bitkicik sayısı ve haploid bitki sayısında azalmalar belirlenmiştir. FA genotipinde ise kallus sayısı ve haploid bitki sayısı dışındaki diğer incelenen özellik için mutasyon dozlarının azaltıcı etkiye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan iki ekmeklik buğday genotipinin gamma ışını uygulaması ile elde edilen mutant populasyonlarından besi ortamına aktarılan anterlerin %31.95 i kallus oluşturmuş, gelişen kallusların %22.31 inden albino bitkicik ve %31.36 sından yeşil bitkicik gelişmiş, gelişen yeşil bitkiciklerden %42.97 si seraya aktarılmıştır. Seraya aktarılan yeşil bitkiciklerin %49.35 inden haploid bitki ve %11.55 inden spontan doubled- haploid bitki elde edilmiştir. Kontrol dozu dahil tüm gamma ışını mutasyon dozları arasında anterlerden gelişen kallus sayısı özelliği için %44.30 ile 150 Gy mutasyon dozu, kalluslardan gelişen albino bitkicik özelliği için %41,5 ile 150 Gy mutasyon dozu ve yeşil bitkicik özelliği için %31.01 ile 400 Gy mutasyon dozu, yeşil bitkiciklerden seraya aktarılan yeşil bitkicik özelliği için %53.68 ile 350 Gy mutasyon dozu, yeşil bitkiciklerden elde edilen haploid bitki sayısı özelliği için %74.68 ile 400 Gy mutasyon dozu ve spontan doubled-haploid bitki sayısı özelliği için %24.41 ile 150 Gy mutasyon dozu en yüksek başarı oranlarının elde edildiği dozlar olmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlar, genotipin buğday anter kültüründe başarıyı etkileyen en önemli faktörlerden biri olduğu, anter kültüründen buğday ıslah programlarında yararlanabilmek için ıslah programındaki genotiplerin anter kültürüne reaksiyonlarının bilinmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.Gamma ışını uygulaması ile ekmeklik buğdaylarda anter kültürüne yanıtın artırılabileceği, buğday ıslahı programlarında mutasyon ıslahı ile anter kültürü tekniğinin kombine edilebileceği ve bu şekilde ıslah programının süresinin daha da kısaltılarak etkinliğinin artırılmasının mümkün olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Ekmeklik Buğday, Mutasyon, Anter Kültürü, Doubled-Haploid, Besi Ortamı In this study, two different bread wheat advanced lines are used as a material. The responses of mutant populations generated from eight different gamma ray dose (0, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400 Gy) to anther culture was investigated. For this purpose, anthers from bread wheat mutant populations was transferred to W14F culture medium for responses to anther culture in early single-core stage, and characters such as number of callus developed from anthers, number of albino and green plantlet developed from callus, number of plants transferred to greenhouse, number of haploids plants and spontaneous doubled-haploid plants obtained from green plantlet was evaluated for determining response to anther culture.In the research, while genotypes (BSB and FA) effects on all anther culture characters were not significant, the gamma-ray doses applied to genotype and genotype x mutation dose interactions effects were found statistically significant.Although increasing number of callus, number of green plantlet, number of green plant transferred to greenhouse and number of spontaneous doubled-haploid plants, it was determined decreasing for number of albino plantlet and number of haploid plant by mutation doses in comparison with control dose for BSB genotype. Mutation doses have a reducing effect on all characters except number of callus and number haploid plant for FA genotype.Callus was obtained from 31.95% of the anthers transferred to culture medium from the mutant populations obtained by gamma irradiation to the two bread wheat genotypes used in the study, 22.1% albino plantlet and 31.36% green plantlet were developed from callus and 42.97% of developed green plantlet was transferred to greenhouse. Haploid plants and spontaneous doubled-haploid plants were obtained at 49.35% and 11.55% of the green plants transferred to the greenhouse, respectively.Among the all mutation doses including control dose, 150 Gy dose with 44.30% for number of callus improved from anthers, 150 Gy dose with 41.50% for number of albino plantlet from callus, 400 Gy dose with 31.01 for number of green plantlets, 350 Gy dose with 53.68 for number of green plants transferred to greenhouse, 400 Gy dose with 74.68% for haploid plants obtained from green plantlets and 150 Gy dose with 24.41% for number of spontaneous doubled-haploid plants were the doses gave the highest success rates.The obtained results indicate that genotype is one of the most important factors effecting success of the anther culture response in wheat, is necessary to know about responses of genotypes in breeding program to anther culture to benefit from anther culture in wheat breeding programs.It was reached concluded that gamma irradiation can increase the response to anther cultures in bread wheat, mutation breeding can be combined with anther culture technique in wheat breeding programs and in this way it will be possible to increase the effectiveness of the breeding program by further shortening the duration of the breeding program.Keywords: Bread Wheat, Mutation, Anther Culture, Doubled-Haploid, Culture Media 118

Bu çalışma, farklı orijinli yedi buğday (Triticum aestivum L.) genotipinin resiproksuz yarım diallel melez F2 döllerinde bazı agronomik ve kalite özellikleri bakımından kombinasyon yetenekleri ve heterosis değerlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla 2011-2012 yetiştirme döneminde Namık Kemal Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri deneme ve uygulama alanında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, bin tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, parsel verimi, yaş gluten oranı, gluten indeksi, sedimentasyon, gluten/protein oranı, sedim/protein oranı ve protein içeriği gibi özellikler incelenmiştir. İncelenen her özellik için kombinasyon yetenekleri analizleri, Griffing Metot II, Model I e göre yapılmıştır. İncelenen tüm özellikler için anaçların Genel Kombinasyon Yeteneği etkileri istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Özel Kombinasyon Yeteneği etkileri ise başak uzunluğu ve gluten/sedim oranı hariç diğer incelenen özellikler için önemli olmuştur. Genel Kombinasyon Yetenekleri göz önüne alındığında verimi artırmaya yönelik ıslah programlarında Pehlivan, Selimiye ve Esperia çeşitlerinin, kaliteyi artırmaya yönelik ıslah programlarında ise Aldane, Selimiye ve F85 çeşitlerinin anaç olarak kullanılmasının uygun olacağı görülmüştür. Özel kombinasyon yetenekleri ve heterosis-heterobeltiosis değerleri birlikte değerlendirildiğinde hem verim hem de kalite özellikleri bakımından en üstün performansa sahip F-85/Pehlivan, Esperia/Sana, Sana/Selimiye, Aldane/Selimiye, Aldane/Pehlivan, F//S/Selimiye, Selimiye/Pehlivan, F-85/Sana, Esperia/Selimiye, Esperia/Pehlivan ve Sana//F/S melez kombinasyonlarının ümitvar oldukları görülmüştür. This study was carried out in order to examine the combination abilities and heterosis values for some agronomic and quality traits in F2 segregating progenies of half diallel cross of different originated wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes during 2011-2012 growing season in Namık Kemal University, Agricultural Faculty, Field Crops Department experiment and application area. The characters such as plant height, spike lenght, number of grain per spike, grain weight pers pike, thousand kernel weight, harvest index, plot yield, wet gluten content, gluten index, sedimentation value, gluten/protein ratio, sedimentation/protein ratio and protein content were evaluated in the study. Analysis of combining ability was performed for the characters used based on Griffing Methot II, Model I. General Combining Ability effests for studied characters were statistically siginificant. Their Specific Combining Ability effects except spike lenght and gluten/protein ratio were found statistically siginificant. When evaluating the General Combining Ability of genotypes, it would be appropriate to use as parent varieties Pehlivan, Selimiye and Esperia cultivars in breeding programs aimed at increasing grain yield and Aldane, Selimiye ve F85 cultivars in breeding programs aimed at increasing quality were observed. When the Special Combining Abilities and heterosis-heterobeltiosis values of cross combinatios were considered together, hybrid combinations F-85/Pehlivan, Esperia/Sana, Sana/Selimiye, Aldane/Selimiye, Aldane/Pehlivan, F//S/Selimiye, Selimiye/Pehlivan, F-85/Sana, Esperia/Selimiye, Esperia/Pehlivan ve Sana//F/S with the most outstanding performance in terms of yield and quality were found to be promising.

Araştırma, 2008-2009 yetiştirme mevsiminde ekolojik olarak farklı 3 lokasyonda (Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi, Trakya Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü ve Atatürk Toprak ve Su Kaynakları Araştırma Enstitüsü) 17 makarnalık buğday yerel populasyonu ve 3 eski çeşit olmak üzere toplam 20 makarnalık buğday genotipi ile tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Yerel populasyonların bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak hasat indeksi, başak sap oranları, hasat indeksi ve tane verimi ortalamaları sırasıyla 84,9 cm ile 148,6 cm, 6,94 cm ile 9,48 cm, 19,91 ile 25,70 adet, 33,66 tane ile 52,41 tane, 1,48 gr ile 2,28 g, %67,11 ile %73,11, %74,89 ile %87,16, %30,39 ile %39,92 ve 253,11 kg\da ile 387,89 kg\da arasında değişmiştir. Verim ve verim unsurlarına göre yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda verim unsurları bakımından yerel populasyonların eski çeşitlere oranla daha iyi performans göstermelerine karşın, eski çeşitler yerel populasyonlardan daha yüksek tane verimi vermişlerdir. Verim ve verim unsurları açısından dikkat çeken yerel populasyonlar; Kahramanmaraş (YP-8), Hacıhalil 20 (YP-15) ve Siverek (YP-10), Kayadere-23 (YP-14), İskenderun (YP-7) ve Erzincan (YP-5), Han-27 (YP-13), Bursa (YP-2), Şırnak Akaya (YP-11) olmuştur. Denemeye alınan makarnalık buğday genotiplerinin bin tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, camsı tane oranları, gluten oranları, gluten indeksi, sedimantasyon değerleri ve protein oranı ortalamaları sırasıyla 36,6 g ile 43,8 g, 72,05 kg ile 77,18 kg, %73 ile %96, %32 ile %40, 33 ile 73, 29 ml ile 50 ml ve %14,2 ile %17,3 arasında değişmiştir. Kalite özellikleri topluca değerlendirildiğinde bin tane ve hektolitre ağırlığı ve camsı tane oranı dışında diğer özelikler bakımından genelde yerel populasyonların eski çeşitlere oranlara daha iyi performanslar göstermişlerdir. Adıyaman (YP-9), Kahramanmaraş (YP-8) ve Çanakkale (YP-3) yüksek bin tane Siverek (YP-10), Han-27 (YP-13), Erzincan (YP-5), Bursa (YP-2), Manisa (YP-1), Han 27 (YP-13), Aric 31708-70 (YP-16) makarnalık buğday yerel populasyonlarının diğer genotiplere oranla kalite özellikleri açısından daha iyi performans göstermişlerdir. This study was carried out during 2008-2009 growing season in ecologically different 3 locations (Namık Kemal University Agricultural Faculty, Thrace Agricultural Research Institute and Atatürk Soil and Water Resources Research Institute) and 17 durum wheat local landraces and 3 durum wheat obsolete cultivars were used as genetic material. Experiments were planned in randomised block design with 3 replicated. The averages of plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, spike harvest index, spike stem ratio, harvest index and grain yield of local landraces ranged from 84,9 to 148,6 cm, from 6,94 to 9,48 cm, from 19,91 to 25,70 no, from 33,66 to 52,41 no, from 1,48 to 2,28 g, from 67,11 to 73,11%, from 74,89 to 87,16%, from 30,39 to 39,92%, and from 253,11 to 387,89 kg\da, respectively. In the result of evaluation based on yield and yield components, although local landraces showed higher performance than obsolete cultivars according to yield components, obsolete cultivars had higher yield than local landraces. The remarkable local landraces in terms of yield and yield components had Kahramanmaraş (YP-8), Hacıhalil 20 (YP-15) ve Siverek (YP-10), Kayadere-23 (YP-14), İskenderun (YP-7), Erzincan (YP-5), Han-27 (YP-13), Bursa (YP-2) and Şırnak Akaya (YP-11). The quality traits of genotypes used in study such as thousand grain weight, test weight, vitreous grain percentage, gluten content, gluten index, sedimentation value and protein content changed between 36.6 and 43.8 g, between 72.05 and 77.18 kg hl-1, between 73 and 96%, between 32 and 40%, between 33 and 73, between 29 and 50 ml, and 14,2 and 17,3%, respectively. Quality traits are considered together, except for thousand grain weight, test weight and vitreous grain percentage in terms of other traits local landraces showed better performance than the obsolete cultivars. Among the landraces, Adıyaman (YP-9), Kahramanmaraş (YP-8), Çanakkale (YP-3), Siverek (YP-10), Han-27 (YP-13), Erzincan (YP- 5), Bursa (YP-2), Manisa (YP-1), Han 27 (YP-13), Aric 31708-70 (YP-16) showed the higher quality attributes than the others.
