Research has been conducted on the para-substituted aromatic silanes. The Si-X (X= H, F, Cl, Li) bond dissociation energies of these silanes have been calculated and the details are reported.

Research has been conducted on the triorganosilyl groups. The results of the acid-catalyzed intramolecular addition of the hydroxy group to alpha-alkylated vinylsilanes are reported.

Research has been conducted on the free radical cyclization reactions. Results indicate that tributylin hydride and tris(trimethylsilyl)silane are the promoters of the sequential or cascade free radical cyclization reactions of alkynes or dienoate tethered vinyliodides.

Research has been conducted on the tricyclic marine alkaloid lepadiformine's enantiomer. The stereoselective syntheses of the natural and racemic forms of this enantiomer have been carried out via the use of intramolecular spirocyclization of the N-acyliminium ion with allylsilane and the details are reported.

The reaction of tetrabutylammonium fluoride with (halomethyl)diphenyl(para-substituted-phenyl)-silanes carried out in tetrahydrofuran and the rearrangement-displacement reaction stereochemistries of optically active (bromomethyl)silane with fluoride and alkoxide reagents are described.

Research has been conducted on the N-[1-(phenylsulfonyl)alkyl]oxazolidin-2-ones. The preparation and the synthesis of these compounds and their utilization as N-acyliminium ion precursors in the reaction with allyltrimethylsilane are discussed.

The reaction of this compounds with allene producing allylsilane-vinylcopper intermediate has been carried out and the results indicate that upon treatment with alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones the reaction leads to the allylsilane containing ketones.

Research has been conducted on the pentasubstituted disiloxanes and silanes. The reaction of these compounds with the dimethyl diallylmalonate and other functionalized 1,6-dienes has been carried out in producing the silylated cyclopentanes with high diastereoselectivity and the results are discussed.

Research has been conducted on the tri-tert-butylphenoxyl radical (ArO (radical)). The reaction of this radical with (TMS) (sub)3 SiH has been measured spectrophotometrically and the results are presented.

The synthesis of (+)-juruenolide C is discussed. Results indicate that the conversion of lactone into lactol bezyl ether and lactone carbonyl regeneration led to (+)-juruenolide C.

Research has been conducted on the reaction of bis(acylsilanes) with trifluoromethyltrimethylsilane. The creation of the new family of trialkylsilylketols and the keto-enol equilibrium of cyclic fluorodiketones are described.

Research has been conducted on the palladium-catalyzed reaction of pinacolone with tert-butyldimethyl(3(2-bromophenyl)allyloxy)-silane. The results of this reaction are described.
