The subject of this article is the expression of causative movement events in German and Spanish. It is hypothesized that, being respectively a satellite frame language and a verbal frame language, it is likely that both differ in the syntactic order with which the semantic material of the aforementioned events is expressed, a question already studied for this pair of languages in the intransitive movement events. It is especially interesting to analyse this possible interlingual difference in statements with types of verbs that cannot necessarily be expected to develop the triargumental scheme of these causative events (agent subject, affected object and dynamic locative complement) due to their basic argument structure. This contribution specifically studies the possible development of these triargumental structures by the so-called verbs of contact by impact. To do this, a one-way contrastive analysis is carried out, from German to Spanish, of a corpus of pairs of statements extracted from the PaGeS corpus. The results certify the existence of the phenomenon in both languages, but also point to important interlingual differences in their productivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study focuses on the construction mira que + clause and analyzes the discursive functions it develops when it is fixed. Using a macrosyntactic methodology and based on the fundamentals of construction grammar, the article describes the distribution and behavior of this construction and the procedural contents it develops. In some contexts, mira que acts as intensifier of a valuation word. In others it is combined with gerunds, participles or nouns with negative content. It appears in these cases as a suspended statement. In combination with other sentences it may introduce a justifying argument or a concessive anti-oriented meaning. The distributional context predetermines the argumentative orientation of the construction and makes it work as a discursive element more linked to the procedural dimension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article deals with the syntax and semantics of Old English End verbs on the basis of the framework of verb classes and alternations and the theory of Role and Reference Grammar. The analysis focuses on class membership and includes meaning components and argument realisation--linking in simplex and complex constructions and alternations. The inventory of verbs under analysis comprises ablinnan, ætstandan, blinnan, for(e)sacan, geblinnan, linnan, ofersittan, oflinnan, oðstillan and (ge)trucian. The main conclusion is that the morphologically related verbs ablinnan and blinnan are the strongest candidates for End verbs, given the syntactic constructions and morphosyntactic alternations in which they are found. Se desarrolla una investigación cualitativa interactiva que tiene como objetivo estudiar la vinculación que establecen estudiantes de profesorado en matemática de la UNL entre construcciones de una figura geométrica realizadas con GeoGebra y la identificación de propiedades empleadas en la misma y su definición. Se realizan observaciones y entrevistas y se cuenta con los archivos digitales correspondientes a la resolución de un problema de geometría y con grabaciones de audio y video de lo realizado. Se estudian las producciones de dos parejas de estudiantes, quienes realizan y analizan construcciones de rectángulo utilizando distintas herramientas disponibles del software y desplazando objetos libres. Emplean definiciones de rectángulo que poseen condiciones redundantes y recurren a las propiedades empleadas y a los procedimientos de construcción en el proceso de establecer la definición utilizada y en el de identificar si las construcciones analizadas se corresponden con la misma. En la elaboración de las construcciones y en la identificación de herramientas del software se observa un predominio de utilización de aspectos visuales. El uso holístico de las características de GeoGebra asiste en los procesos de construcción, de análisis de una figura ya construida y en la identificación de herramientas empleadas en las construcciones; propiciando la reflexión acerca de procedimientos y la determinación de propiedades empleadas. Se destacan contrastes en el estudio, relacionados con la definición y clasificación consideradas; con la necesidad de justificar y el valor de evidencia que provee GeoGebra, y con las ventajas del protocolo de construcción y la necesidad de su enseñanza. This qualitative research aims to study the link, established by UNL prospective mathematics teachers, between constructions of a geometric figure made with GeoGebra, and the identification of properties used in it and its definition. Digital files corresponding to the resolution of a geometry problem and audio and video recordings of what was done are available. Besides, observations and interviews were developed. Two pairs of students carry out and analyze rectangle constructions using different tools available from the software and moving free objects. Their productions are studied. Students use rectangle definitions with redundant conditions and resort to used properties and construction procedures to establish the definition used and to identify if the analyzed constructions correspond to it. Visual aspects are predominant when making constructions and identifying software tools. The holistic use of GeoGebra features helps various processes, construction, analysis of an already built figure, and identification of tools used; promoting reflection on procedures and on the determination of properties used. Certain contrasts are highlighted in this study, related to the definition and classification considered; to the need for justification and the value of evidence that GeoGebra provides, and to the advantages of the construction protocol and the need for its teaching.

The present work deals with diocesan advice on real estate and building issues, a subject on which the bibliography is not abundant, explaining its importance and the need for each diocesan curia to have it. It develops the qualities that its members must possess, their function, term of appointment and retribution, among other aspects. A statistic about its existence is presented in particular Churches of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay; pointing out the case of a diocese that has counted on the Counseling for almost twenty years. Digital, En el presente trabajo de grado se describen las actividades que se realizaron en el tiempo de la práctica empresarial en la CDMB (corporación autónoma regional para la defensa de la meseta de Bucaramanga). El área en la cual se trabajó se llama evaluación y control, equipo SEYCA; el tutor de practica se llama Nelson Chang quien le colaboran dos ingenieros, la Ingeniera Tatiana San Miguel quien desempeña su función en el área de licenciamiento ambiental y el Ingeniero Omar Ardila quien se encarga de ocupación de cauce, playas y lechos de Santander. La pasantía duró 4 meses, en los cuales se realizó informes, visitas técnicas, presentaciones y plantillas, todo en base a Licenciamiento Ambiental y Ocupación de Cauce. Con la Ingeniera Tatiana San Miguel directora del programa de LA se redactó el oficio de respuesta a radicados, definir documentos faltantes y crear presentaciones de acuerdo con lo solicitado, con base al Decreto 1076 de 2015, como aporte propio se realizó un modelo de Acta para solicitud de información adicional en desarrollo del trámite, con el fin de adecuar los espacios en blanco con los datos pertinentes de cada expediente; en compañía del Ingeniero Omar Ardila director de Ocupación de Cauce se ejecutaron las visitas técnicas para corroborar la información expuesta en los expedientes solicitando el permiso, la respuesta variaba según se aprueba, se niega o no se requiere. También se aportó una base de datos en Excel para dar solución a la hora de buscar radicados con respuestas antiguos, iniciativa aprobada por el comité técnico. Finalmente se puede concluir que el aprendizaje que se obtuvo es bastante amplio, ya que no solo se enfocó en obras civiles, sino que también en aguas y temas ligados con el ambiente y construcciones. Se puso en práctica conocimientos adquiridos en el pregrado logrando fortalecerlos y se aprendieron nuevos conceptos que servirán en un futuro para un cabal desempeño, This degree work describes the activities that were carried out during the time of the business practice at the CDMB (regional autonomous corporation for the defense of the Bucaramanga plateau). The area in which we worked is called Evaluation and control, SEYCA team; the internship tutor is Nelson Chang who collaborates with two engineers, Engineer Tatiana San Miguel who works in the area of environmental licensing and Engineer Omar Ardila who is in charge of occupation of riverbed, beaches and beds of Santander. The internship lasted 4 months, in which reports, technical visits, presentations and templates were made, all based on environmental licensing and occupation of riverbeds. With Engineer Tatiana San Miguel, director of the LA program, we drafted the official response to the filings, defined missing documents and created presentations according to what was requested, based on Decree 1076 of 2015, as our own contribution we made a model of minutes for requesting additional information in the development of the process, in order to adapt the blanks with the relevant data of each file; In the company of Engineer Omar Ardila, Director of Riverbed Occupation, technical visits were made to corroborate the information provided in the files requesting the permit; the response varied depending on whether the permit was approved, denied or not required. An Excel database was also provided to provide a solution when searching for files with old responses, an initiative approved by the technical committee. Finally, it can be concluded that the learning obtained is quite broad, since it was not only focused on civil works, but also on water and issues related to the environment and construction. This paper presents a description of the alternations in which the location argument participates in English and accounts for its various realizations from the point of view of Role and Reference Grammar. The analysis of the multiple alternating behaviour of the location argument in various transitive and intransitive alternations in English is mostly related to marked macrorole assignment typically to undergoer, such as in He loaded the truck with hay--as compared with the kernel construction He loaded hay on the truck--but also to actor as, for instance, in the location subject alternation, in which the location argument occupies the subject position, e.g., The bag carries all your belongings, a construction which implies the loss of one of the arguments in the kernel structure, You can carry all your belongings in the bag. Additionally, the syntactic behaviour of location arguments in marked constructions very often conveys a change of Aktionsart ascription with respect to the kernel construction, as in the swarm alternation in which the predicate in the kernel construction is analysed as an activity, e.g., Bees swarmed in the garden, whereas in the marked construction it changes to a state, The garden is swarming with bees. This investigation also provides an analysis of the with-phrase that is often encoded in the marked constructions where the location argument is codified as a core argument. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Se parte de la hipotesis de que las formaciones me explico, ?me explico? o repito se han convertido en construcciones con distintos grados de fijacion y han desarrollado funciones reformulativas (me explico, repito), interactivas (?me explico?), de estructuracion del discurso y de argumentacion (repito). Explicamos los procesos y mecanismos que conducen al desarrollo de estas funciones y la evolucion que se ha producido en el caso de ?me explico? que ha supuesto su conversion en marcador de control de contacto EnglishThis research aims to demonstrate how certain structures that contain communication verbs, placed between pauses and with their own intonational frame, have acquired, from their conceptual meaning, pragmatic and discursive values in specific contexts. The starting hypothesis is that the expressions me explico, ?me explico? or repito have become constructions with different degrees of fixation and have developed discursive functions of reformulation (me explico, repito), interactive functions (?me explico?), and others such as structuring of the discourse and argumentation (repito). On that basis, we explain the processes and mechanisms by which these functions have been developed and the evolution that has occurred in the case of ?me explico?, which has meant its conversion into a contact control marker.

En este artículo introducimos las ventajas de integrar forma y significado a la hora de presentar estructuras gramaticales a los hablantes de español como lengua extranjera. En esta línea, proponemos la incorporación de la Gramática de Construcciones, una de las principales teorías sintácticas de la Lingüística Cognitiva, en la formación continua de los profesores de español. En este modelo, el significado de una expresión es el resultado de la fusión del significado del verbo (en su marco semántico) y el significado de la estructura (construcción) en la que aparece, que también tiene sus propias reglas de interpretación semántica. En definitiva, las estructuras sintácticas tienen significado, y no solo las palabras.

En el presente trabajo de grado se encontrarán las diferentes actividades realizadas durante la pasantía en el proyecto Dio-Salvatore como residente de obra, ubicado en la ciudad de Duitama-Boyacá. Proyecto a cargo del Ingeniero propietario, que cuenta con 17 apartamentos y 15 parqueaderos para uso residencial, práctica realizada desde el 7 de noviembre del 2020 hasta el 31 de enero del 2021 con una duración total de 620 horas, cumpliendo con los requerimientos solicitados por parte de la Universidad Santo Tomás. De igual forma, se encontrará información detallada del proyecto junto con las actividades diarias realizadas e imágenes de soporte que ayudarán a un entendimiento mucho más amplio de lo realizado en la práctica. Como futuros profesionales, en cualquier carrera, es importante entender la realidad de la vida laboral para así tomar las mejores decisiones que lleven a una culminación exitosa del proyecto que se está realizando. En esta pasantía se realizaron actividades como supervisión y control de calidad, lecturas de planos, planificación de tareas, entre otras, lo que permitieron el afianzamiento de los conocimientos adquiridos en el pregrado, para en un futuro obtener mejores resultados en la aplicación de dichos conocimientos en el entorno laboral real. Así mismo, este trabajo contiene de forma detallada los aportes que el estudiante mediante su pasantía generó y puede generar en los diferentes ámbitos que lo rodean, con el fin de ejercer de la manera más acertada la carrera de Ingeniería civil, con el fin de ayudar a la sociedad en desarrollo e innovación, con construcciones mucho más adecuadas, idóneas y optimizadas. Por último, se dan a conocer las diferentes opiniones y recomendaciones respecto al camino recorrido en la práctica, con el fin de buscar la mejora en ciertos aspectos, así como las conclusiones de lo que fue esta gran experiencia en el proyecto Dio- Salvatore, que aportó demasiado para la vida personal y profesional del estudiante. The author proposes that the challenge we meet in supervision is to generate a space in the thin line where imagination may develop at the same time that our work takes anchor in the basic analytic technique and theory. Four vignettes are presented to show the way in which supervisor and supervisee co-create models and imaginative conjectures in relation not only to what comes up in the sessions but also in the encounter in the supervision. This paper examines the essential features of a group of constructions that belong to the family of complementary alternation discourse constructions in English. In this group of constructions, X and Y are two situations such that Y is less likely (or more likely) to happen than X. Each member of this group (X Let Alone Y, X Much Less Y, X Never Mind Y, X Not To Mention Y, Not X Nor Y, X Still Less Y, Not X Not Even Y, and X To Say Nothing of Y) introduces subtle changes in focal structure, resulting in changes on the overall coherence of the text. Based on these theoretical explanations, the paper specifies the conditions for the use of one connector with preference over the others. Finally, the paper argues that in these constructions we find two types of cognitive operations at work: simple cognitive operations (negative addition and/or re-association) and operation amalgams, which combine different cognitive operations. 30. SER FOCALIZADOR COMO MEZCOLANZA SINTÁCTICA.

This paper recovers the point of view that ser focalizador constructions C-SF are syntactic blends, in opposition to two other contending views, according to which ser focalizador is either a focal proyection within a monoclausal structure or a reduced pseudo-cleft. It is also claimed that a merely constructionist analysis of C-SF is insufficient to account for the distributional properties of these hybrid constructions. Among the syntactic options, a version of the monoclausal claim is chosen. Finally, it is shown that there are better formal alternatives, with a simpler syntax, than using focal syntactic projections. Thus, complications are sent back to the study of rules projecting focus upwards in the syntactic tree, as a fundamental aspect of the interface between grammar, interpretation, and sound. Periodic evaluation and planning of preventive maintenance provide greater comfort, safety and durability of buildings. In educational institutions, these needs become more evident, since habitability problems can hinder the development of the teaching, research and extension process developed in university environments. The objective of this work is to evaluate probable causes of pathological manifestations and propose solutions. The study was developed in the premises of the Department of Food Engineering of the Federal University of Ceará. The methodology used in the study results from analyses of pathological manifestations observed by surveys with visual and tactile inspections. Photographic records, interviews with building users and those responsible for the conservation and maintenance of the buildings were carried out. After the inspection of the environments, corrections were proposed for the identified problems. The main pathological manifestations observed were fissures, displacement of coating, stains, infiltrations and corrosive process of external structural elements. The problems are directly associated with the lack of inspections and adequate maintenance, aggravated by the age of the buildings and the environment where they are located, since it presents itself in an area near a lagoon and with a strong incidence of weathering such as rains and winds. La evaluación periódica y la planificación del mantenimiento preventivo proporcionan mayor comodidad, seguridad y durabilidad de los edificios. En las instituciones educativas, estas necesidades se hacen más evidentes, ya que los problemas de habitabilidad pueden obstaculizar el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza, investigación y extensión desarrollado en entornos universitarios. El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar las causas probables de las manifestaciones patológicas y proponer soluciones. El estudio fue desarrollado en las instalaciones del Departamento de Ingeniería Alimentaria de la Universidad Federal de Ceará. La metodología utilizada en el estudio se deriva de los análisis de manifestaciones patológicas observadas por encuestas con inspecciones visuales y táctiles. Se realizaron registros fotográficos, entrevistas con los usuarios del edificio y los responsables de la conservación y mantenimiento de los edificios. Después de la inspección de los entornos, se propusieron correcciones para los problemas identificados. Las principales manifestaciones patológicas observadas fueron fisuras, desplazamiento de recubrimiento, manchas, infiltraciones y proceso corrosivo de elementos estructurales externos. Los problemas están directamente asociados con la falta de inspecciones y mantenimiento adecuado, agravado por la edad de los edificios y el entorno donde se encuentran, ya que se presenta en una zona cercana a una laguna y con una fuerte incidencia de intemperie como lluvias y vientos. A avaliação periódica e o planejamento de manutenções preventivas proporcionam maior conforto, segurança e durabilidade das edificações. Em instituições de ensino, estas necessidades tornam-se mais evidentes, visto que problemas de habitabilidade podem atrapalhar o desenvolvimento do processo de ensino, pesquisa e extensão desenvolvido em ambientes universitários. O objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar causas prováveis das manifestações patológicas e propor soluções. O estudo foi desenvolvido nas dependências do Departamento de Engenharia de Alimentos da Universidade Federal do Ceará. A metodologia empregada no estudo decorre de análises das manifestações patológicas observadas por vistorias com inspeções visuais e táteis. Foram realizados registros fotográficos, entrevistas com os usuários da edificação e os responsáveis pela conservação e manutenção dos edifícios. Após a inspeção dos ambientes, foram propostas correções para os problemas identificados. As principais manifestações patológicas observadas foram as fissuras, deslocamento de revestimento, manchas, infiltrações e processo corrosivo dos elementos estruturais externos. Os problemas estão associados diretamente à falta de vistorias e manutenção adequada, agravados pela idade das edificações e pelo ambiente onde se localizam, uma vez que, apresenta-se em uma área próxima a uma lagoa e com forte incidência de intemperes como chuvas e ventos.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo demostrar cómo determinadas estructuras con verbos de comunicación, situadas entre pausas y con un contorno entonativo propio, han adquirido, a partir de su significado conceptual, valores pragmáticos y discursivos en contextos específicos. Se parte de la hipótesis de que las formaciones me explico, ¿me explico? o repito se han convertido en construcciones con distintos grados de fijación y han desarrollado funciones reformulativas (me explico, repito), interactivas (¿me explico?), de estructuración del discurso y de argumentación (repito). Explicamos los procesos y mecanismos que conducen al desarrollo de estas funciones y la evolución que se ha producido en el caso de ¿me explico? que ha supuesto su conversión en marcador de control de contacto. This research aims to demonstrate how certain structures that contain communication verbs, placed between pauses and with their own intonational frame, have acquired, from their conceptual meaning, pragmatic and discursive values in specific contexts. The starting hypothesis is that the expressions me explico, ¿me explico? or repito have become constructions with different degrees of fixation and have developed discursive functions of reformulation (me explico, repito), interactive functions (¿me explico?), and others such as structuring of the discourse and argumentation (repito). On that basis, we explain the processes and mechanisms by which these functions have been developed and the evolution that has occurred in the case of ¿me explico?, which has meant its conversion into a contact control marker.

Los verbos pseudocopulativos de cambio del español (VPC) han sido descritos de forma poco uniforme por la tradición lingüística hispánica y, como consecuencia, los libros de español como lengua extranjera (ELE) presentan su explicación desde muy diversas posturas. Los objetivos de este trabajo son, en primer lugar, analizar las necesidades pedagógicas de construcciones de difícil adquisición para crear una serie de criterios pedagógicos que sirvan como instrumento de análisis desu enseñanza en materiales didácticos; y en segundo lugar, aplicar tales criterios al tratamiento que reciben los VPC en un corpus de materiales frecuente en las clases de ELE en España. Los resultados de este análisis muestran la falta de uniformidad, imprecisión explicativa e insuficiente propuesta práctica de manuales. Se propone la aplicación del enfoque de la lingüística cognitiva para lograr una descripción sistemática de los VPC que permita a los estudiantes operar con ellos de manera efectiva. Abstract: Pseudo-copulative change-of-state verbs in Spanish (PCOS) receive an unequal treatmentin Hispanic linguistics tradition. Therefore, there are diverse explanations in Spanish textbooks. The goals of this paper are, first, to analyze thepedagogical needs of constructions with acquisition difficulties in order to create a list of pedagogical criteria as a tool for material analysis. Secondly, to apply such criteria on a corpus of frequent SFL materials used in Spain. The results of the analysis in their treatment of Spanish PCOS show the lack of uniformity and inaccuracy in theoretical descriptions and insufficient practical proposal. These problems contribute to make the learning of these verbs quite challenging for students. Finally, we bring to light the need of a clearer and systematic method based in cognitive linguistics approach to allow SFL students to deal with PCOS efficiently. El trabajo se centra en la construcción mira que + cláusula y analiza los valores discursivos que desarrolla cuando se fija en el uso. Utilizando una metodología macrosintáctica y con base en los fundamentos de la gramática de construcciones,se describe su comportamiento distribucional y los contenidos procedimentales que desarrolla. En unos contextos, mira que actúa como intensificador de un término valorativo. En otros, se combina con gerundios, participios o sintagmas con contenido negativo. Aparece en estos casos como enunciado suspendido. En combinaciones con otras oraciones puede actuar como introductor de un argumento justificativo o bien con contenido concesivo antiorientado. El contexto distribucional predetermina la orientación argumentativa de la construcción y la hace funcionar como un elemento discursivo más ligado a lo procedimental. This study focuses on the constructionmira que + clause and analyzes the discursive functions it develops when it is fixed. Using a macrosyntactic methodology and based on the fundamentals of construction grammar, the article describes the distribution and behavior of this construction and the procedural contents it develops. In some contexts, mira que acts as intensifier of a valuation word. In others it is combined with gerunds, participles or nouns with negative content. It appears in these cases as a suspended statement. In combination with other sentences it may introduce a justifying argument or a concessive anti-oriented meaning. The distributional context predeterminesthe argumentative orientation of the construction and makes it work as a discursive element more linked to the procedural dimension. This article explores the constraints that underlie the functioning of motion verbs expressing movement in a particular way (e.g. skulk, scamper). Our study has been carried out in accordance with the postulates of the Lexical Constructional Model (LCM), as put forward by Ruiz de Mendoza and Mairal (2006). The LCM accounts for the relationship between lexical and syntactic meaning by merging into one unified approach relevant theoretical and methodological assumptions from both functional projectionist theories such as Role and Reference Grammar, on the one hand, and constructional models of linguistic description, on the other. Such a combined framework allows us to offer a comprehensive characterization of the verbs under scrutiny, including (1) syntactically relevant information (logical structure), (2) semantic content (lexical template) and (3) those cognitive and pragmatic constraints which may license, restrict or block the fusion of lexical templates into higher-level constructional patterns. La creación de nuevos operadores discursivos pasa en ocasiones por la existencia de construcciones que van fijándose y desarrollando un contenido procedimental específico. Este trabajo se detiene en la forma aunque sea, que mantiene aún hoy su valor como estructura concesiva libre, como construcción escalar cuando introduce un complemento y como operador discursivo. Los casos intermedios nos muestran la vitalidad del discurso y nos alientan a avanzar en la delimitación de la macrosintaxis. The formation of new discursive operators sometimes involves the existence of constructions that are being fixed and developing a specific procedural content. This work focuses on the form aunque sea, which still maintains its function as a free concession structure, as a scalar construction when it introduces a complement, and as a discursive operator. The intermediate cases show the vitality of the discourse and claim to advance in the delimitation of the macrosyntax. [ES] El inglés académico puede considerarse como que no expresa las emociones o pensamientos de los escritores. Sin embargo, cuando analizamos textos escritos por hablantes con diferentes lenguas maternas, se puede observar que existe variación en el uso de construcciones. En este artículo, se estudia un corpus de artículos académicos se estudió para extraer frecuencias y ejemplos de la construcción de probabilidad modal y analizar la variación que existe en el uso de esta construcción por hablantes no nativos del inglés. El objetivo principal de este análisis es aplicar los principios de la Gramática de Construcciones a la variación lingüística. Otros objetivos son identificar la variación en el uso de construcciones modales y estudiar sus funciones en el campo específico de la ingeniería. Para ello, se recopiló un corpus de cien artículos académicos escritos en inglés por investigadores españoles y por hablantes nativos. A continuación, se identificaron las construcciones de verbo modal + infinitivo que indicaban probabilidad. Así mismo, se comentaron los ejemplos de esta construcción en inglés utilizada de forma diferente por investigadores con diferentes lenguas maternas para expresar el mismo significado. The concept of similarity is crucial for fields belonging to cognitive science and linguistics. However, it is a broad notion that can be approached through multiple perspectives. In this work we carry out a comparative analysis on how two of these perspectives articulate similarity between verb senses in Spanish. The first perspective is based on corpus linguistics, specifically on semantic roles annotated on a Spanish corpus, as representation of argument structure associated to verb senses. The second perspective belongs to the field of theoretical linguistics and is embodied by the constructions that a verb instantiates. With such comparison we aim to investigate whether argument structure obtained from corpus, which reflects the expression of an event, configures verb similarity in a manner congruent with the way in which constructions do it, which are argued to contain argument structure too and to constitute key elements in the generation of sentence meaning. The results of the comparison show that there is a significant correlation between the similarity formalization of both perspectives, particularly when we take into account syntactic and pattern information from corpus. Additionally, the results attribute particular importance to the aspectual opposition of stativity-dynamicity as the backbone of the similarity-dissimilarity axis for constructions. La noción de similitud es crucial para un número de disciplinas del ámbito cognitivo y lingüístico. Sin embargo, se trata de un concepto amplio que se puede tratar desde diversas perspectivas de estudio. En el presente trabajo realizamos un análisis comparativo de cómo dos de estas perspectivas articulan la similitud entre los sentidos verbales en español. La primera perspectiva está fundamentada en la lingüística de corpus, específicamente en la estructura argumental asociada a sentidos verbales y capturada mediante los roles semánticos anotados en un corpus del español. La segunda perspectiva se enmarca en la lingüística teórica, y se basa en las diferentes construcciones en las que los verbos pueden participar. Mediante esta comparación se aborda la cuestión de si la estructura argumental obtenida a través de ejemplos de corpus, que refleja la expresión de los eventos, configura la similitud entre los sentidos verbales de forma congruente a como lo hacen las construcciones, a las que la teoría lingüística asigna también contenido argumental y considera piezas clave en la construcción del significado oracional. Los resultados de la comparación muestran una correlación significativa entre la caracterización de similitud verbal de ambas perspectivas, particularmente cuando se tiene en cuenta información sintáctica explícita y patrones argumentales en el corpus. Además, los resultados muestran que el eje similitud-disimilitud articulado por las construcciones está vertebrado en torno a la oposición aspectual estatividad-dinamicidad.

43. Work Ideologies and Constructions of Disability in the Puerto Rican Context

En este artículo se sintetiza un estudio² realizado en el 2012 con el objetivo de analizar las ideologías del trabajo que los medios construyen sobre la subjetividad de la discapacidad durante la implantación de la Ley Especial Declarando Estado de Emergencia Fiscal para Salvar el Crédito de Puerto Rico (Ley no. 7), en el 2009. Mediante el diseño cualitativo y las técnicas de análisis de contenido manifiesto y latente, utilizando como referencia los modelos de la discapacidad y el modelo de la subjetividad humana, se revisaron cuatrocientos sesenta y siete (467) artículos de periódico publicados durante el periodo de febrero a octubre de 2009. Los resultados demuestran que solo catorce (3%) de los artículos, que constituyen las unidades de análisis, hacían alusión directa o indirecta al tema de la discapacidad. El contenido de estos artículos se sustenta en una ideología que excluye a las personas con discapacidad de la participación social por considerarlos incapaces, no aptos y sin valor. Los modelos de la discapacidad y de la subjetividad humana que predominan son el sociopolítico y la ideología posicional-existencial, respectivamente. Se concluye que las ideologías del trabajo que los medios construyen sobre la subjetividad de la discapacidad tienen la función de excluir a las personas con discapacidad del mercado laboral, sin reconocer su potencia- capacidad de ser y hacer. This paper summarizes a study³ conducted in 2012 with the purpose of analyzing work ideologies constructed by the media regarding subjectivity towards disability during the 2009 implementation of the Special Act Declaring a State of Fiscal Emergency to Save the Credit of Puerto Rico (Act No. 7). Through a qualitative design and the manifest and latent content analysis techniques, and using the Disability and Human Subjectivity Models as the theoretical framework, a total of four hundred and sixty-seven (467) newspaper articles published between February and October 2009 was reviewed. Results demonstrate that only fourteen articles (3%), which constitute the units of analysis, made reference, directly or indirectly, to disability. The content of these articles is based on an ideology that excludes people with disabilities from social participation because they are considered incapable, unfit and worthless. The disability and human subjectivity models that predominate are the socio-political and positional-existential ideology, respectively. It was concluded that the work ideologies constructed by the media regarding subjectivity towards disability are used to exclude people with disabilities from the job market, without recognizing their power and ability of being and doing.

Departing from a qualitative linguistic analysis based on corpus-attested examples, this paper provides a computational treatment of several construction-types, namely, argument-structure constructions, implicational constructions, and illocutionary constructions. Thus, our aim is to offer a formalized representation of constructions of varied nature and complexity. We do so through a lexico-conceptual knowledge base for natural language processing systems called FunGramKB, whose grammaticon is a computational implementation of the architecture of a usage-based constructionist model of language known as the Lexical Constructional Model. Resumen Partiendo de un análisis lingüístico cualitativo basado en ejemplos de corpus, este artículo presenta un tratamiento computacional de varias construcciones, a saber, construcciones argumentales, construcciones implicativas y construcciones ilocutivas. De este modo, nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una representación formal de construcciones gramaticales de diferente naturaleza y complejidad. Para ello empleamos una base de conocimiento léxico-conceptual para sistemas de procesamiento del lenguaje natural denominada FunGramKB, cuyo gramaticón es una implementación computacional de la arquitectura del modelo construccionista basado en el uso llamado Modelo Léxico Construccional.

La segunda mitad del siglo XVII es el perfecto caldo de cultivo para la formación de las academias. En ellas se llevarán a su mayor esplendor los saberes técnicos y científicos, plasmándose en la tratadística gracias a diversos autores eruditos. Con todos estos saberes científicos se formarán forma autodidacta los ingenieros militares en todo lo concerniente a las matemáticas aplicables a su campo. En la primera mitad del siglo XVIII, dada la heterogeneidad en opiniones y conocimientos, y ante la necesidad de formar un cuerpo de ingeniería para dar cabida a las tareas de fortificación, prolifera la creación de academias militares. Esto coincide con la publicación masiva de grandes tratados de arquitectura militar por parte de diversos ingenieros militares, muchos de ellos directores de las distintas academias del reino, destacando las de Bruselas y Barcelona. Los contenidos establecidos por las recomendaciones de distintos ingenieros a petición del rey y dispuestos en diversas Reales Órdenes para las enseñanzas en las academias, se interpretaban por los directores de las academias y variaban en su aplicación según las concepciones más academicistas o más prácticas de quien elaborara los materiales de estudio para las academias. Estos materiales, en el caso de la Real Academia de Matemáticas y Fortificación de Barcelona, se elaboraban utilizando como fuente tratados antecedentes, donde el autor realizaba un "corta y pega" de las distintas obras, para ser luego dictado y copiado por los alumnos. El presente estudio sobre la formación que recibían los alumnos de la RAM en materias de arquitectura y construcción se realiza a partir de los documentos anónimos MSS 556 y MSS 547 del archivo Nicolau Primitiu de la Biblioteca Valenciana, de los tratados 4º y 8º del "Curso inédito en Matemáticas y Fortificación" de Pedro de Lucuze., The second half of the seventeenth century was the perfect breeding ground for the creation of academies. The technical and scientist knowledge will be taken to its splendor and will be reflected in the treatises by various authors. With all these scientific knowledge the military engineers will be self-taught in everything concerning mathematics applicable to their field. Because of the heterogeneity of opinions and knowledge due to this way of learning, and the need to form a body to perform the engineering tasks needed, the creation of military academies in the first half of the eighteenth century proliferates. The contents set by the recommendations of various engineers at the request of the king and arranged in various Royal Orders for teaching in the spanish schools, were interpreted by the directors of the academies, who developed the study materials for schools and varied in their application and conception. These materials, in the case of the Royal Academy in Mathematics and Fortification of Barcelona, were produced with the author doing a "cut and paste" of the sources. This materials where made then to be dictated and copied by students. This study is done regarding the training received by students at RAM in matters of architecture and construction, from the stody of the documents MSS 556 and MSS 547 from the Nicolau Primitiu archive at the Valencian Library (treaties 4 and 8 of the Unpublished course in mathematics and fortification by Pedro de Lucuze).

En este trabajo nos centramos en la adquisición de clasificaciones verbales automáticas para el español. Para ello realizamos una serie de experimentos con 20 sentidos verbales del corpus Sensem. Empleamos diferentes tipos de atributos que abarcan información lingüística diversa y un método de clustering jerárquico aglomerativo para generar varias clasificaciones. Comparamos cada una de estas clasificaciones automáticas con un gold standard creado semiautomáticamente teniendo en cuenta construcciones lingüísticas propuestas desde la lingüística teórica. Esta comparación nos permite saber qué atributos son más adecuados para crear de forma automática una clasificación coherente con la teoría sobre construcciones y cuales son las similitudes y diferencias entre la clasificación verbal automática y la que se basa en la teoría sobre construcciones lingüísticas. In this work we focus on the automatic acquisition of verbal classifications for Spanish. To do so, we perform a series of experiments with 20 verbal senses that belong to the Sensem corpus. We use different kinds of features that include diverse linguistic information and an agglomerative hierarchical clustering method to generate a number of classifications. We compare each of these automatic classifications with a semi-automatically created gold standard, which is built on the basis of linguistic constructions proposed by theoretical linguistics. This comparison allows us to investigate which features are adequate to build a verb classification coherent with linguistic constructions theory and which are the similarities and differences between an automatic verbal classification and a verb classification based on the theory of linguistic constructions.

En este trabajo se evaluó en los estudiantes de grado decimo de la institución educativa Jorge Villamil ortega, el grado de asimilación y comprensión del mundo de la mecánica de fluidos; sus conceptos, relaciones, principios y leyes físicas; implementando la pedagogía por proyectos mediante construcciones didácticas con materiales de fácil acceso y/o caseros. Para lo cual, se trabajó con dos grupos, un grupo control (clase magistral) y un grupo experimental (receptores de la estrategia). El grupo experimental además de recibir como el grupo control clases magistrales; implemento proyectos de aula, en los cuales diseñó, construyó y expuso conceptualmente el funcionamiento de sus construcciones. Se realizó un análisis cuantitativo a las justificaciones dadas por el grupo control y el grupo experimental, obteniéndose como resultado mayores avances en las justificaciones conceptuales de los estudiantes pertenecientes al grupo experimental. Abstract : In this work the students of tenth grade of Jorge Villamil Ortega Institution were tested in the assimilation and comprehension about mechanic of fluids; its concepts, relations, principles and physics laws; Implementing the pedagogy by projects through educational constructions with accessible or homemade materials. Therefore, two groups worked on the project. A leader group trained with traditional classes and an experimental group that who was the strategy receiver. The leader group and the experimental group no only received traditional classes but also they implemented a classroom project in which they designed, made and presented concepts of the functioning of their new experiences gained through the process. A quantitative analysis was made to the justifications given by the leader group and the experimental group, obtaining as a result biggest advances in the new conceptions belonging to the experimental group. Este artículo analiza veintidós preposiciones en dos grupos léxicos diferentes: [PREPOSICIÓN the SUSTANTIVO of] (at the point of, from the perspective of, etc.) y [VERBO-PREPOSICIÓN the SUSTANTIVO of] (shouted above the noise of, suffering from the effects of, etc.), siendo la única diferencia que el primero no incluye el verbo principal que sí está presente en el segundo. Las cadenas de construcciones se extrajeron del British National Corpus y se analizaron los tipos de posibles verbos, preposiciones y sustantivos en cada posible combinación. El artículo también detalla un experimento en el que los tipos de sustantivos asociados a cada una de las veintidós preposiciones fueron codificados manualmente atendiendo a sus rasgos semánticos. Por último, también se utilizó un programa informático para calcular el sentido compartido de los diferentes VERBOS y SUSTANTIVOS. Los resultados mostraron que los sustantivos del grupo [(VERBO) PREPOSICIÓN the SUSTANTIVO of], aunque podrían formar grupos de significados, pueden no comportarse del mismo modo dependiendo de si los verbos están presentes o no., Aquest article analitza vint-i-dues preposicions en dos grups lèxics diferents: [PREPOSICIÓ the SUBSTANTIU of] (at the point of, from the perspective of, etc.) i [VERB-PREPOSICIÓ the SUBSTANTIU of] (shouted above the noise of, suffering from the effects of, etc.), sent la única diferència que el primer no inclou el verb principal que sí apareix en el segon. Els resultats van mostrar que els substantius del paquet [(VERB) PREPOSICIÓ the SUBSTANTIU of], encara que podrien formar grups de significats, poden tenir un comportament diferent segons estiguen present o no els verbs., This paper investigates twenty-two prepositions in two different lexical bundles – [PREPOSITION the NOUN of] (at the point of, from the perspective of, etc.) and [VERB PREPOSITION the NOUN of] (shouted above the noise of, suffering from the effects of, etc.), the only difference being that the former does not include the head verb that is present in the latter. Strings of constructions were extracted from British National Corpus and the types of possible verbs, prepositions, and nouns in each possible combination were analyzed. The paper also details an experiment in which the types of nouns under each of the twenty-two prepositions were coded by human subjects in terms of their semantic features. Finally, a computer program was also utilized to calculate the shared meaning of the different VERBs and NOUNs. The results showed that the nouns in [(VERB) PREPOSITION the NOUN of], though might form clusters of meanings, may not behave in the same way with and without the presence of the verbs.
