Health education and ecology do not hold a sufficiently important position in most educational systems, even though they are essential. In Romania, mothers have the possibility of taking a two years' maternity leave, which allows them to spend the most essential period near their child. However, they do not receive enough education and support regarding breastfeeding. Without a healthy organism and ecosystem, all our other activities are in danger. Prevention is always easier than to fix the already created problems. The first steps are extremely important in the life of a human being. And because we are born as perfect beings, eager to learn and full of love, what we learn in this period (too) is very important. Young children have an enormous capacity of learning and memorizing. These habits are also learned through imitation. Babies basically get accustomed to the world surrounding them. For this reason, I think it is essential that parents develop together with them. The most important lesson is seeing a positive example. This paper studies the education of pre-school children together with their parents and presents the concept of the baby club (with the involvement of their parents, usually mothers) for the 0-3 year olds, concept which I have developed and put into practice since November 2014, as well as the concept of Green First Steps educational center for the 3-6 year old group. As a part of my paper, I am going to present my methods of painting with children, this being one of the classes at the baby club, starting around the age of 10 months, till the age of 3. Then I shall transpose the methodology of painting in other domains, too, developing essential ideas of contemporary education. I will present the activities, as well as the concept of the baby club, which comes as an answer to the above mentioned needs, meant to provide a more natural socializing environment for babies, early education in ecology, healthy eating habits, as well as support for the mothers willing to breastfeed and practice a positive parenting, close to the child. Moreover, it addresses the parents interested in alternative medicine, oriental sciences and a healthier way of life, based on prevention, parents who want to implement all these practically in their daily life. It is very much based on the idea that until the age of 2-3, the presence and closeness of the parents is very important on the child's psychical development, and it has repercussions on their entire life. As an alternative education center, it offers useful skills to babies, support and socialization to the mothers in their maternity leave, when most of the times they get the feeling of isolation and loneliness with their problems, lack of support in breastfeeding and other problems. This baby club is a place where mothers meat each other and spend 2-3 hours together with their babies once a week, preferable in a natural environment, which creates a support for learning and changing ideas about alternative medicine and prevention, breastfeeding, textile or ecological dippers, fresh vegan recipes, as alternatives in their menu, while their babies paint, sing and play with professionals. Different professionals and experienced mothers are called to teach them about all the subjects mentioned above. Little children (and parents) get used to an ecologic and healthy food environment, where we avoid junk food, and single use plastics, encourage their native creativity and self-expression, through activities dedicated to them such as singing, playing the drums, painting, singing with Tibetan bowls and others. Its purpose is the creation of a community of parents and young children, interested in an alimentation that contains as many unprocessed foods as possible, in protecting nature and ideas for reducing general pollution, for instance through promoting everything that is handmade or local, by avoiding the usage of disposable plastics. During these meetings, the babies eat only raw food, fruits and vegetables, so as to counterbalance the foods that are over processed, tinned or pasteurized in the markets. The second group refers to children at the age of 3-6, meaning the next step, when the child already accepts to be without their parents, for a few hours, without hard feelings. This club is based on the principle of getting small children used to an ecologic environment and activities, like learning relaxation methods, teaching them about basic gardening tips, and about preparing simple meals, as well as arts. Creating the habit of healthy eating and learning really practical things is alternated with free playing. The program is a daily and flexible short one, which can be done for a small number of children and can be combined with other educational systems. In the afternoon classes, parents get to learn along with them about different sciences, like alternative medicine, healthy and ecologic lifestyle tips. Parents' development together with their children is very important. This school's aim is to teach people the things necessary for them to be more independent, to trust their own resources more. Conclusions This paper wishes to present some conclusions of working with children under 3, also, presenting an alternative approach that is new in some aspects, or only intimate in others, beginning with the painting classes with the little ones, from where we can draw a parallel to many other aspects of life. These conclusions are based both on our own experience from the meetings with the children and their parents and on their feedback, presenting also the exhibition of their paintings. I start from this idea that: the children are our equals. This new approach of child education is based on the fact that the child is the adult's friend and equal, whose role is to teach him about a world whose rules and conventions he doesn't know, but who, in his turn, has a lot to learn from the child. So, the teacher is also a student and the student is also a teacher. I have noticed that if we allow the children under 3 years old a greater freedom of expression, not only will we have a more fluent communication with them, but we will also have the opportunity of learning many abilities that had been long forgotten. Moreover, it is the only method through which we can preserve their creativity and courage to communicate. These methods can revolutionize certain old-fashioned concepts in education, where children are not encouraged to be creative or to express their opinions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
