Objective: To base bio-learning on community experiences in a rural territory of Colombia. Methodology: A socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, and Critical Participatory Action Research (CPAR) method. Instruments were a sociodemographic survey, focal groups, semi-structured individual interviews and learning experiences. The instruments were supported by the sociodemographic sheet, focal groups and interview scripts, planning of learning experiences, and observation sheets. The work unit was 51 community families, six teachers, 29 students, six community-linked external agents and one research professor for a total of 195 participants. Results: In Cycle I Problematization, the disconnection of the school from the community was recognized due to the lack of recognition of ancestral local knowledge from the culture, customs, and traditions of the community. Cycle II Communitization was implemented to enable the solution of those problems. It was based on three learning experiences related to coffee as the main product of the rural territory. As a result, community-related processes such as the construction of peasant and school knowledge supported by processes of community bio-learning were found to provide an ideographic vision of communitization. The community is constructed in a shared pedagogical environment in which bio-community learners interact as part of a bio-learning community to solve the needs of communitization and project bio-learning. Conclusions: Customs have not passed from generation to generation; neither daily life activities nor the value of bio-learning are being exploited. The learning spaces can be found in everyday life, in nature, or in the rural territory itself; hence, the importance of learning experiences from community participation-based bio-learning. The bio-learning community is recognized as supported by community training processes in, from, and for life. It takes the indigenous, cultural, customs, what is shared from the territory, and what has been referred to as the community spirit of bio-learning as its starting point. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research article is based on the master's thesis titled "OfiCalc and GeoGebra as didactic tools for the understanding, use, and application of angles in 10th-grade students at the I.E. Gabriel García Márquez in San Carlos de Guaroa, Meta Department, Colombia." The study emphasizes the significance of Realistic Mathematics Education (rme) in the teaching and learning of Mathematics, along with its influence on the transformation of the educational curriculum and compliance with the General Education Law (Law 115 of 1994) in Colombia. The main purpose of the article is to evaluate the implementation of this approach in the Colombian educational context, considering existing legal regulations and curriculum guidelines. To achieve this, a qualitative literature review is conducted, facilitating an analysis of the shared principles and foundations between rme and Law 115 of 1994, exploring their relationship with the teaching and learning of mathematics. Additionally, a detailed analysis is provided regarding the importance of promoting rme as a pedagogical approach aimed at enhancing the quality and relevance of mathematical education in Colombia. As a result, the need to establish connections between mathematical concepts and the real world is emphasized, along with the presentation of authentic mathematical challenges to stimulate critical thinking, logical reasoning, and informed decision-making. it is evident how technology has involved in recent years at an ever-increasing rate, impacting different areas of society, including education. To recognize the incidence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Colombian schools, it is valuable to identify the research trends in the 21st century (2000 - 2021) that address this field. In this way, in the present state of the art, because of doctoral research, a search for academic articles is carried out in different databases which addresses the ICT basic and secondary school relationship in Colombia. Subsequently, a qualitative and documentary analysis is carried out from the Grounder's theory perspective in three coding moments: open, axial, and selective. Finally, as a result of the analysis of the documentary corpus, made up of forty-six documents, six research trends can be glimpsed: historical approaches to ICTs at school; ICT teacher training, digital divide, school reconfigurations, youth and teacher subjectivity, "and factors of use of ICTs at school". The reflection article is based on the research project "Scientific and academic production in technology and informatics in Colombia: discourses and practices 2000 - 2018", particularly addressing the teaching-learning category, from a critical perspective. The behavior of the journals in the last three calls for measurement endorsed by Minciencias is presented, because the study sources were extracted from there. In didactic strategies, the largest number of articles were located, which account for the bets of Colombian and foreign researchers to mobilize ICT from the pedagogical, didactic and educational, at school and university level. This study investigated the uses of social networks in secondary and middle school students. It is a quantitative research and was carried out through the application of an online survey to students from institutions in Cúcuta - Colombia, and measured variables of temporality, spatiality and exploration, to determine the rewards that adolescents obtain when navigating these. Among the most relevant results, the most widely used networks are WhatsApp, YouTube and Facebook. Also, that only 4.7 percent of adolescents use these networks to expose their feelings. In conclusion, social networks are currently assumed by students, as tools that enhance not only their interpersonal relationships and recreational or entertainment activities, but also the exchange of educational material and the formation of academic work groups, as well as learning and the communication. The present study explores the historical-personal representation through the lifeline of 50 teachers of a municipal educational institution located in the south west of Colombia. It was developed under the parameters of ethnographic research, whereby both positive and negative emerging categories were obtained. The first are related to education, sources of happiness, family life, the type of large and low-income home, reflection and resilience. The second have to do with the non-resolution of problems in childhood and adolescence, situations of the Colombian armed conflict, disputes and family and personal difficulties. Among the findings, it is concluded that the lifeline is a comprehensive tool, allowing people to see their past and its influence in the present, also favoring the development of some unfinished personal difficulties in their lives. developing countries like Colombia have understood that education is an effective strategy in closing social inequality gaps to improve population's skills. In the last decade, coverage in higher education went from 30 to 50 percent. One of the most important factors in this achievement is Colombia's transition to peace, increasing the development of the population towards higher levels of competitiveness and education. In consequence, it is necessary to reinforce the development of competences, to encourage systemic thinking that allows the solution of problems from a holistic view and achieves effective solutions in the improvement of the local industry. During this study, an applied ludic strategy involving an airplane assembly line made with Lego blocks is created, looking for an effective and practical education framework in teaching the attributes that generate impact in a production line of goods; in this way, students can be involved in a clear and creative manner in their search for solutions. This project was developed by member professors and students from an engineering education institution in Bogotá, Colombia. This article presents the conceptualization, characteristics, national and international research on learning environments. For this purpose, a bibliographic review of approximately fifty sources was carried out. Based on these, the conceptualization and characteristics that learning environments should have in order to be effective in teaching-learning processes were elaborated according to the authors reviewed. Likewise, an international overview structured by continents was developed on research in which diverse elements of study were identified; and a national overview divided by regions, in which definitions, research and work carried out are evidenced, all following a chronological order. The studies that have been carried out on student participation mostly refer to an individual participation in which emphasis is placed on the academic achievement and individual aspects of the student. However, the importance of promoting an institutional academic commitment in which the student contributes to the construction of the university, either by participating in research or pedagogical activities, is not emphasized in these studies. From this perspective, universities in Colombia should promote institutional academic commitment, through academic and economic incentives for students who support teachers in the implementation of research projects, and in activities that support teaching. Introduction. The tool of bilingualism has become a leader currently, bearing in mind that social cultural requirements of national environment are bigger each time. Globalization, in general, has incorporated, to national education, new demands that, in turn, generate renewed challenges for all agents of the education system. To project bilingualism as a tool for improving the profile of Colombian students may be the result of present and future demands in education topics for competitiveness. Objective. To analyze the convenience for adopting in Colombia the AICLE method (Aprendizaje integrado de contenido y lengua extranjera) in Spanish, or CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in English, widely disclosed and accepted in European countries and that, according to recognized studies, has had excellent results in the teaching of foreign languages. Materials and Methods. A descriptive/exploratory study was carried out using a questionnaire designed using Coyle y Marsh (2010) parameters, which collected opinions of 30 teachers, who are currently developing AICLE in bilingual high schools of the country. Information was tabulated in Excel program and consolidated graphs were carried out, for more illustration of findings. Results. It was appreciated that teachers have a good perception of the AICLE method and they deem possible to implement it in bilingual high schools with a projection toward improvement of competitiveness-. AICLE method has a wide acceptance and international disclosure and its dynamics, what make it easier the renewal of pedagogical models, and its essence coincides with competitiveness policies of the country. Introduction: In our country there is a figure called hotbed of research as a tool to encourage the comprehensive training of students, which aims to promote new talent in investigative areas that allow the generation of new knowledge. Additionally, the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Colciencias) and Colombian universities have created multiple strategies to enhance research skills in their students. Objective: To reflect on the importance of research in undergraduate programs by using the hotbed of research teaching strategy in health areas. Reflection: This strategy allows improving students' training and making it more competitive at national and international level. However, these efforts are not enough because it lacks sufficient financial resources, flexible curricula and teachers trained in research; all these factors, along with deficient student interest, transform the task into a difficult goal to achieve. The association between learning achievement in mathematics, cognitive style in the field dependence/independence dimension (FDI), and augmented reality (RA) in a virtual learning environment is analyzed in this research. A quantitative descriptive/ correlational study was structured to that end, with a quasi-experimental design and two groups: one experimental and the other a control group with non-comparable pre and post tests. The study involved 83 students who were majoring in industrial engineering at the Colombian College of Industrial Studies (ECCI) in Bogota. The finding show that use of the augmented reality model, implemented as a strategy for natural interaction with digital objects to learn functions in several variables, made it possible to obtain better results in terms of more effective and significant learning achievement among students who were enrolled in the vector calculus teaching unit, with intermediate and independent typology in the FDI dimension. Some of the dynamic capabilities on the basis of which a Colombian company could be eligible to become a Born Global company are taken into consideration in this paper, among which mention could be made of the bearing strategic alliances are having, how the market is being positioned, and organizational learning. On the basis of data collected through a survey being conducted of 297 manufacturing companies in the country in 2011, these dynamic capabilities have been sorted out by means of an artiicial neural networks model. According to indings, those companies which are undergoing a swift internationalization process are mainly told apart because they are supported on learning, socialization and an in-depth awareness of the market they are working with, allowing them to design competitive advantages. This work studies formation for employment in the Colombian labour market, based on the quality of life survey made in 2003 by the statistical bureau DANE. It uses Mincerian functions to find that the profitability of formation for employment among workers increases with the level of formal education; it also finds that employment income increases with the size of the company. The descriptive analysis allows it to be concluded that corporate investment in formation for employment increases with size. These results suggest that there is a complementary relationship between formal education, education for employment and physical capital. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article presents a study which examines the association between the history of relational development of nine children in the city of Medellín, Colombia and the development of their learning disabilities (LD). The findings of the study reveal that the dynamic of the primary relationship is characterized by the constant support provided by both the mother and the father as well as by anxiety. This dynamic is present within the relationships of individuals which favors the emergence of a child in a place of disability. The relationship between the primary relational context of the child and its learning disabilities (LD) is considered as a crucial factor in understanding the problematic of the LD.
