The article reports on detention of Islamic state (IS) fighters by American backed Kurdish militias in northern Syria that led to raise security risk of U.S. military officials. Topics discussed include partnership of the U.S. with Syrian Kurds in detention of IS fighters; the U.S. help in temping down the tensions in Syria between Kurdish militias and Turkey; and the U.S. Special Operations troops advise to Syrian Democratic Forces to catalogue biometrics of the detainees.
