This study aimed to determine the difference between learning with the Discovery Learning and Make a Match (DL-MaM) learning model with the conventional model on learning achievement in the domain of knowledge and attitudes in the nomenclature of simple chemical compounds. The population of this study was all students of class X MIPA MAN 4 Sleman with a total of 6 classes. The research sample is taken in as many as two classes: class X MIPA 3 as the treatment class and class X MIPA 1 as the control class. The sampling technique is carried out by purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study consisted of three: (1) test instruments in the form of post-test questions to measure learning achievement in the domain of knowledge, (2) non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires to measure learning achievement in the domain of attitudes. The analysis technique uses parametric statistics (Independent Sample T-Test) to analyze learning achievement data in the knowledge domain and non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) to analyze learning achievement data in the attitude domain. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the use of DL-MaM student achievement in the domain of knowledge, and there is no significant difference in the use of DL-MaM on students' achievement in the domain of attitudes.
