The aim of this study was to verify the perception of 395 distance learning undergraduate students at a Brazilian private university about the use of H5P Moodle interactive content during the teaching and learning process of environmental education (EE). The hypothesis, in line with previous studies, is that most students would report positive experiences after studying through interactive resources. Based on a quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study, these volunteer students carried out the following contributions to this research: (i) They compared the VLE Moodle traditional didactic resources versus H5P Moodle interactive resources. Specifically, the subject studied was “concepts of Ecology”; (ii) They answered an instrument comprised two analysis dimensions (i.e., Feasibility and Motivation) consisting of 14 assertions of the Likert-type. 122 among those 395 students invited, agreed to participate. The study on the reliability of the instrument resulted in a coefficient equal to 0.80. Therefore, it is possible to state that on another occasion, these students would respond to the instrument in the same way. The number of validated assertions was 11/14 (a loss of the 21.40% of the assertions). However, the loss of up to 40% of the total statements is considered adequate when using the Likert scale. Considering only these 11 validated assertions, the overall main of the instrument was 3.35 points (Standard Deviation = 0.36), which demonstrates a positive student perception of the evaluated object. Ultimately, the tested hypothesis was confirmed, and thus, the most students reported positive experiences after having studied EE through H5P interactive resources. &nbsp

The work discusses conceptual perspectives of knowledge management for libraries, specifically those linked to the Federal Institutes of Brazil. The study has the following problematic condition: to what extent is knowledge management capable of enabling actions to stimulate and facilitate the creation, storage, sharing and use of knowledge in the context of the performance of technical-academic libraries? The objectives are to investigate the concepts of knowledge management and knowledge management in libraries in order to support the ongoing research of the Doctoral Program in Information Science at the Fernando Pessoa University. The research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive in terms of ends. And as for the means, as bibliographic through a dialogue with different authors and texts that deal conceptually with the aforementioned theme. It is concluded that when working from the perspective of knowledge management within the scope of technical-academic libraries, the aim is to provide the development of a work philosophy supported by practices of sharing ideas, contents, procedures and storage, aiming at the medium and long term the construction of a new culture in these environments that can generate new knowledge, seeking during this process the innovation in its professional and organizational practices. O trabalho discute perspectivas conceituais da gestão do conhecimento para bibliotecas, especificamente as ligadas aos Institutos Federais do Brasil. O estudo tem a seguinte condição problematizadora: em que medida a gestão do conhecimento é capaz de possibilitar ações no sentido de estimular e facilitar a criação, o armazenamento, o compartilhamento e o uso do conhecimento no contexto de atuação das bibliotecas técnico-acadêmicas? Os objetivos são investigar os conceitos de gestão do conhecimento e de gestão do conhecimento em bibliotecas a fim de fundamentar a pesquisa em curso do Programa de Doutoramento em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Fernando Pessoa. A pesquisa se caracteriza quanto aos fins como exploratória e descritiva. E quanto aos meios, como bibliográfica mediante um diálogo com autores e textos diversos que abordam conceitualmente a referida temática. Conclui-se que ao trabalhar na perspectiva da gestão do conhecimento no âmbito das bibliotecas técnico-acadêmicas, têm-se em vista proporcionar o desenvolvimento de uma filosofia de trabalho apoiada em práticas de compartilhamento de ideias, conteúdos, procedimentos e armazenamento, visando a médio e longo prazo a construção de uma nova cultura nesses ambientes que possa gerar novos conhecimentos, buscando durante esse processo a inovação em suas práticas profissionais e organizacionais.

This paper is a theoretical and practical review of voluntary transfers in Brazil. In this sense, the article begins with the presentation of theoretical categories that constitute the background of the Brazilian federation, analyzed from the perspective of the distribution of financial resources among the entities of the federation. In this context, the objective of the study is to present the contextual and practical aspects that underlie the importance and regularity of voluntary transfers in Brazil, based on the topics: federalism, fiscal federalism and intergovernmental transfers. The study is descriptive and uses the bibliographic and documental review techniques. The results show the regularity of the use of voluntary transfers from the federal government in the period 1995-2021, and their relative importance in the years 2019 and 2020, as support for the strengthening of cooperative type federalism. O presente artigo realiza um resgate teórico-prático das transferências voluntárias no Brasil. Neste sentido, o artigo inicia com a apresentação de categorias teóricas que se constituem pano de fundo da federação brasileira, analisadas sob o prisma da repartição de recursos financeiros entre os entes da federação. Neste contexto, o objetivo do estudo é apresentar os aspectos contextuais e práticos que fundamentam a importância e a regularidade das transferências voluntárias no Brasil, a partir dos temas: federalismo, federalismo fiscal e transferências intergovernamentais. O estudo é descritivo e se utiliza das técnicas de revisão bibliográfica e documental. Os resultados mostram a regularidade da utilização das transferências voluntárias do governo federal, no período de 1995-2021, e sua importância relativa nos anos de 2019 e 2020, como suporte ao fortalecimento do federalismo do tipo cooperativo.

The instrument was constructed to gather information about the academic support received by students, changes in the circumstances of the student’s life during the training process, motivational aspects, general learning experience and individual characteristics. The study adopts a quantitative approach based on national and international studies. The objective of the study is to report on the stages of construction of the research tool to prevent evasion in Higher Education Institutions at a distance. The results indicate 83.3% concordance between the judges for the motivational, support (tutor, family and financial) constructs and 100% agreement for the constructs sex, age, previous education and work situation. These may be useful to researchers and scholars for aligning the focus and purpose of their studies. El instrumento fue construído con el fin de recoger informaciones sobre el apoyo académico recibido por los estudiantes, los cambios en las circunstancias de la vida del estudiante durante el proceso de formación, aspectos motivacionales, experiencia de aprendizaje en general y características individuales. El estudio adopta un enfoque cuantitativo basado en estudios nacionales e internacionales. El objetivo del estudio es relatar las etapas de construcción del instrumento de investigación para prevenir la evasión en las Instituciones de Enseñanza Superior a distancia. Los resultados apuntan el 83,3% de concordancia entre los jueces para los constructos de la motivación, apoyo (tutor, familiar y financiero) y el 100% de concordancia para los constructos sexo, edad, educación anterior y situación de trabajo. Estos pueden ser útiles a los investigadores y estudiosos para la alineación del foco y del objetivo de sus estudios. O objetivo deste estudo é relatar as etapas de construção do instrumento de pesquisa para prevenção da evasão, nas instituições de ensino superior à distância. O instrumento foi construído com a finalidade de coletar informações sobre o apoio acadêmico, recebido pelos estudantes, às mudanças nas circunstâncias da vida do estudante durante o processo de formação, aspectos motivacionais, experiência de aprendizagem em geral e características individuais. No estudo foi adotada uma abordagem quantitativa, com base em estudos nacionais e internacionais. Os resultados apontaram 83,3% de concordância entre os juízes para os constructos da motivação, apoio (tutor, familiar e financeiro) e 100% de concordância para os constructos sexo, idade, educação anterior e situação de trabalho. Esses dados podem ser úteis aos pesquisadores e estudiosos para o alinhamento do foco e do objetivo de seus estudos.
