Small molecule quinone compounds are attractive cathode materials for rechargeable aqueous zinc‐organic batteries (AZOBs) because of their structural diversity and low‐cost merits. Among them, nonpolar quinones are dominant given the relatively low solubilities in aqueous electrolytes. However, their poor electronic conductivity and accumulated Coulombic repulsion lead to underutilized active sites and sluggish redox kinetics. Here, polar 2,6‐dimethoxy‐1,4‐benzoquinone (m‐DMBQ) works as an advanced AZOB cathode with unexpectedly superior performance over the nonpolar isomer of 2,5‐dimethoxy‐1,4‐benzoquinone (p‐DMBQ). The asymmetric charge distribution of active centers in the p−π conjugated backbone of m‐DMBQ induces reduced bandgap with improved electronic conductivity and redox activity, thus achieving a high specific capacity of 312 mAh g−1 approaching the theoretical limit. Additionally, the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy level is lowered for an increased average discharge voltage of 0.88 V. Characterizations and computational studies revealed boosted competitiveness of H+ relative to Zn2+ for significantly enhanced charge transfer kinetics and reversibility. As a result, the as‐fabricated AZOB achieves a high energy density of 275 Wh kg−1 based on m‐DMBQ along with high‐rate capability and long‐term cycling stability. Aim: To explore the role of missed nursing care in mediating the relationship between career calling and intention to leave among nurses. Introduction: Increasing nurse turnover is still a major concern in the global healthcare system. The most reliable indicator of turnover is turnover intention. It is crucial to understand its affecting elements to suggest measures to lower nurses' turnover intention. Background: Turnover intention has been linked to career calling and missed nursing care. Little empirical research has investigated the possibility that missed nursing care mediates between career calling and turnover intention. Methods: A cross‐sectional survey of 347 nurses was conducted. The survey instruments included the General Information Questionnaire, Calling Scale, Missed Nursing Care Scale and Turnover Intention Questionnaire. Structural equation models were used to build the model. This study made use of the STROBE checklist. Results: For 43.8% of nurses, turnover intention was high or very high. Missed nursing care and turnover intention were negatively correlated with career calling. Missed nursing care and turnover intention were positively related. Missed nursing care mediated the relationship between career calling and turnover intention. Discussion: Career calling and missed nursing care can both influence turnover intention. Career calling can reduce the likelihood of turnover by preventing missed nursing care. Conclusion: Missed nursing care mediated the relationship between career calling and intention to leave. Implications for nursing and nursing policy: Nursing managers should improve nurses' career calling through professional education and minimize missed nursing care by using electronic nursing reminder devices to reduce turnover intention. Abstract Polyphenols have a variety of physiological activities, including antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, their applications are often limited because due to the instability of polyphenols. Encapsulation technologies can be employed to overcome these problems and increase the utilization of polyphenols. In this article, the utilization of protein-based nanoparticles for encapsulating polyphenols is reviewed due to their good biocompatibility, biodegradability, and functional attributes. Initially, the various kinds of animal and plant proteins available for forming protein nanoparticles are discussed, as well as the fabrication methods that can be used to assemble these nanoparticles. The molecular interaction mechanisms between proteins and polyphenols are then summarized. Applications of protein-based nanoparticles for encapsulating polyphenols are then discussed, including as nutrient delivery systems, in food packaging materials, and in the creation of functional foods. Finally, areas where further research is need on the development, characterization, and application of protein-based polyphenol-loaded nanoparticles are highlighted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we study the boundary blow-up problem related to the infinity Laplacian $$ \begin{align*}\begin{cases} \Delta_{\infty}^h u=u^q &\mathrm{in}\; \Omega, \\ u=\infty &\mathrm{on} \;\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \end{align*} $$ where $\Delta _{\infty }^h u=|Du|^{h-3} \langle D^2uDu,Du \rangle $ is the highly degenerate and h -homogeneous operator associated with the infinity Laplacian arising from the stochastic game named Tug-of-War. When $q>h>1$ , we establish the existence of the boundary blow-up viscosity solution. Moreover, when the domain satisfies some regular condition, we establish the asymptotic estimate of the blow-up solution near the boundary. As an application of the asymptotic estimate and the comparison principle, we obtain the uniqueness result of the large solution. Herein, we report a facile method for growing CsPbBr3 cube and prism microcrystals by microspacing in-air sublimation. Morphology-dependent photoluminescence behavior investigation reveals that the CsPbBr3 cubes show higher photoluminescence quantum yield and longer PL lifetime than the prisms. Purpose: Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor with a high degree of malignancy, strong heterogeneity, and high lethality. Trop2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein associated with the occurrence, development, and poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer. This study aims to develop 64Cu/177Lu-labeled anti-Trop2 monoclonal antibody (hIMB1636) for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and radioimmunotherapy (RIT) application in pancreatic cancer tumor models. Methods: The binding kinetics of hIMB1636 to Trop2 antigen was measured by Biolayer interferometry (BLI). Western blotting was used to screen the Trop2 expression of pancreatic cancer cell lines. Flow cytometry and cell immunofluorescence were used to evaluate the binding ability of hIMB1636 and Trop2 on the cell surface. hIMB1636 were conjugated with p-SCN-Bn-NOTA (NOTA) and DOTA-NHS-ester (DOTA) for 64Cu and 177Lu radiolabeling respectively. ImmunoPET imaging and RIT studies were performed using 64Cu-NOTA-hIMB1636 and 177Lu-DOTA-hIMB1636 in subcutaneous pancreatic cancer tumor models. Results: hIMB1636 had a strong binding affinity to Trop2 according to the results of BLI. The T3M-4 cell line showed the strongest expression of Trop2 and specific binding ability of hIMB1636 according to the results of Western blotting, flow cytometry, and cell immunofluorescence. The radiochemical purity of 64Cu-NOTA-hIMB1636 and 177Lu-DOTA-hIMB1636 exceeded 95%. PET imaging showed gradually an accumulation of 64Cu-NOTA-hIMB1636 in T3M-4 tumor models. The maximum tumor uptake was 8.95 ± 1.07%ID/g (n = 4) at 48 h post injection (p.i.), which had significant differences with T3M-4-blocked and PaTu8988-negative groups (P < 0.001). The high-177Lu-hIMB1636 group demonstrated the strongest tumor suppression with standardized tumor volume about 94.24 ± 14.62% (n = 5) at 14 days p.i., significantly smaller than other groups (P < 0.05). Ex vivo biodistribution and histological staining verified the in vivo PET imaging and RIT results. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that 64Cu/177Lu-labeled hIMB1636 could noninvasively evaluate the expression level of Trop2 and inhibit the Trop2-overexpressed tumor growth in pancreatic cancer tumor models. The development of Mg‐ion batteries is hindered by the lack of cathode materials that allow facile and reversible Mg2+ intercalation at high potential. Herein, the authors present a polyanion cathode material of K2(VO)2(HPO4)2(C2O4)⋅4.5H2O (KVPCH) for Mg‐ion batteries. The inductive effect of polyanions ensures the high redox potential of the vanadium centers. In addition, the material contains structural water located between the layers. It helps with Mg2+ desolvation at the electrode–electrolyte interface and facilitates its diffusion in the structure, as confirmed by experimental analysis and theoretical calculations. Thanks to those factors, the KVPCH electrode presents excellent Mg storage capability at room temperature. It delivers 121 mAh g–1 capacity at 1C with a high average discharge potential of 0.16 V versus Ag/Ag+ (3.2 V vs Mg/Mg2+). A capacity retention of 87% is realized after 1500 cycles at 5C. A rocking‐chair Mg‐ion full cell is also demonstrated with the KVPCH cathode and a MoOx anode, which achieves 46 mAh g–1 capacity (based on the total active material mass of two electrodes). Purpose: Abnormal CD38 expression in some hematologic malignancies, including lymphoma, has made it a biomarker for targeted therapies. Daratumumab (Dara) is the first FDA-approved CD38-specific monoclonal antibody, enabling successfully immunoPET imaging over the past years. Radiolabeled Dara however has a long blood circulation and delayed tumor uptake which can limit its applications. The focus of this study is to develop 64Cu-labeled Dara-F(ab′)2 for the visualization of CD38 in lymphoma models. Methods: F(ab′)2 fragment was prepared from Dara using an IdeS enzyme and purified with Protein A beads. Western blotting, flow cytometry, and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) were performed for in vitro assay. Probes were labeled with 64Cu after the chelation of 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA). Small animal PET imaging and quantitative analysis were performed after injection of 64Cu-labeled Dara-F(ab′)2, IgG-F(ab′)2, and Dara for evaluation in lymphoma models. Results: Flow cytometry and SPR assay proved the specific binding ability of Dara-F(ab′)2 and NOTA-Dara-F(ab′)2 in vitro. Radiolabeling yield of [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara-F(ab′)2 was over 90% and with a specific activity of 4.0 ± 0.6 × 103 MBq/μmol (n = 5). PET imaging showed [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara-F(ab′)2 had a rapid and high tumor uptake as early as 2 h (6.9 ± 1.2%ID/g) and peaked (9.5 ± 0.7%ID/g) at 12 h, whereas [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara reached its tumor uptake peaked at 48 h (8.3 ± 1.4%ID/g, n = 4). In comparison, IgG-F(ab′)2 and HBL-1 control groups found no noticeable tumor uptake. [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara-F(ab′)2 had significantly lower uptake in blood pool, bone, and muscle than [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara and its tumor-to-blood and tumor-to-muscle ratios were significantly higher than controls. Conclusions: [64Cu]Cu-NOTA-Dara-F(ab′)2 showed a rapid and high tumor uptake in CD38-positive lymphoma models with favorable imaging contrast, showing its promise as a potential PET imaging agent for future clinical applications. The effects of total ammonium nitrogen (TAN) on hatching, metamorphosis and survival of the geoduck clam Panopea japonica in early life stages (larvae and juvenile) were studied. Ammonia had a significant impact on the hatching ratio at different concentrations. The survival ratio of larvae and juveniles was reduced significantly along with increasing TAN concentration. The maximum acceptable toxicant concentration (MATC) of TAN for larval relative growth ratio was 0.49 mg/L (equivalent to 0.013 mg/L of un-ionized ammonia), and EC50 for survival after 192 h was 1.04 mg/L (equivalent to 0.028 mg/L of un-ionized ammonia). The MATC of TAN on the metamorphosis ratio of P. japonica was 0.93 mg/L (equivalent to 0.030 mg/L of un-ionized ammonia). In juveniles, there was no significant difference in survival ratios with TAN concentrations ranging from 4.07 to 7.01 mg/L. MATC for survival was 7.01 mg/L (equivalent to 0.22 mg/L of un-ionized ammonia), and the LC50 after 96 h was 13.96 mg/L (equivalent to 0.44 mg/L of un-ionized ammonia). The energy storage behavior of the Li3V2(PO4)3 cathode in zinc batteries is evaluated. The dissolution or decomposition into vanadium oxide in aqueous electrolytes is revealed. Using the optimal combination of water and acetonitrile solvents in electrolyte, those processes are effectively prevented without sacrificing the Zn2+ de/insertion kinetics. Further investigation demonstrates a water induced phase transformation into a VOPO4 type structure, which is still a polyanion material and preserves the high voltage. It delivers 128 mA h g−1 capacity at 1C with 1.45 V discharge voltage, and 87 mA h g−1 capacity is retained at 10C. A stable cycling is obtained for 1000 cycles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Many subtypes of lymphoma, such as Burkitt′s lymphoma and diffuse large B cell lymphoma, are highly aggressive with dismal prognosis even after conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As such, exploring specific biomarkers for lymphoma is of high clinical significance. Herein, a potential marker, CD38, is investigated for differentiating lymphoma. A CD38‐targeting monoclonal antibody (mAb, daratumumab) is then radiolabeled with Zr‐89 and Lu‐177 for theranostic applications. As the diagnostic component, the Zr‐89‐labeled mAb is highly specific in delineating CD38‐positive lymphoma via positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, while the Lu‐177‐labeled mAb serves well as the therapeutic component to suppress tumor growth after a one‐time administration. To investigate the bearing mechanism of super-long piles in reclamation, this study performed a series of field tests on super-long cast-in-place piles. The load distribution and bearing characteristics of the piles were analyzed, and the bearing capacity calculation method was evaluated. The findings revealed that dynamic compaction (8000 kN·m) improved the compactness and bearing capacity of the filled soil, and was capable of avoiding negative friction around the pile. The pile bearing characteristics were friction type, and bearing capacity was mainly borne by axial friction resistance. The pile end resistance accounted for 15.7 %–35.1 % of the bearing capacity, and the peak friction resistance was distributed in the upper soil at a depth range of 0.13–0.31 times pile length. The measured value of friction resistance was 9.8 %–90.2 % higher in the upper soil layer and 46.7 %–60.8 % lower in the rock layer than the value recommended by the current Chinese code. The hyperbolic model overestimated the bearing capacity by 26.8 %–50.4 % and the exponential model error was -4.5 % – +18.9 %. The hyperbolic model was corrected, and the correction factor was determined as 0.73. Despite the high coexistence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) (ASD + ADHD), the underlying neurobiological basis of this disorder remains unclear. Altered brain structural asymmetries have been verified in ASD and ADHD, respectively, making brain asymmetry a candidate for characterizing this coexisting disorder. Here, we measured the gray matter (GM) volume asymmetry in ASD + ADHD versus ASD without ADHD (ASD-only), ADHD without ASD (ADHD-only), and typically developing controls (TDc). High-resolution T1-weighted data from 48 ASD + ADHD, 63 ASD-only, 32 ADHD-only, and 211 matched TDc were included in our study. We also assessed brain-behavior relationships and the effects of age on GM asymmetry. We found that there were both shared and disorder-specific GM volume asymmetry alterations in ASD + ADHD, ASD-only, and ADHD-only compared with TDc. This finding demonstrates that ASD + ADHD is neither an endophenocopy nor an additive pathology of ASD and ADHD, but an entirely different neuroanatomical pathology. In addition, ASD + ADHD displayed altered GM volume asymmetries in the prefrontal regions responsible for executive function and theory of mind compared with ASD-only. Chemokine ligand 13 (CXCL13) and its chemokine receptor 5 (CXCR5) both play significant roles in the tumor microenvironment (TME). CXCL13 in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) has recently been found to have significant diagnostic and prognostic value in primary and secondary central nervous system (CNS) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and the CXCL13-CXCR5 axis has been shown to play an important chemotactic role in the TME of CNS-DLBCL. In this review, we first describe the clinical value of CXCL13 in CSF as a prognostic and diagnostic biomarker for CNS-DLBCL. In addition, this review also discusses the specific mechanisms associated with the CXCL13-CXCR5 axis in tumor immunity of primary diffuse large B cell lymphoma of the central nervous system (PCNS-DLBCL) by reviewing the specific mechanisms of this axis in the immune microenvironment of DLBCL and CNS inflammation, as well as the prospects for the use of CXCL13-CXCR5 axis in immunotherapy in PCNS-DLBCL. Disulphide bonds and sulphhydryl concentrations were evaluated to determine the effects on rheological, thermodynamic, pasting, and dynamic rheological characteristics of mixed flours. Gluten samples, first treated with sodium sulphite of different concentrations, were added into flour at a 4% level, which had a significant impact on free sulphhydryl, disulphide bonds, and the ratio of the two indices. There was no relevance between the ratio and other parameters except for free sulphhydryl. The mixed flour doughs had reduced water absorption, dough development time, dough stability time as well as degree of weakening (P < 0.05). Disulphide bonds were associated negatively with the rate of starch gelatinisation (C3-C2), peak, and setback and these characteristics were correlated strongly with dough development time, dough stability time, and progressive protein weakening (C2-C1). The stability of starch gelatinisation and cooking stability of mixed ours did not remain significantly different. The larger the concentration of sodium sulphite, the higher the peak, breakdown, final viscosity, and setback values, but there were no significant differences between samples. For all samples, storage modulus and loss modulus increased with increasing scanning frequency. For mixed doughs, the trend lines of moduli decreased with increasing levels of reduction in added gluten. There was no substantial effect on thermal properties of flours. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Exercise has been shown to facilitate some types of cognitive function; however, whether exercise reduces proactive interference to enhance learning efficiency is not well understood. Thus, this review discusses the effects of exercise on proactive memory interference and explores potential mechanisms, such as neurogenesis and neurochemical changes, mediating any effect. Background: Chronic low back pain (cLBP) is a major health problem and the most common pain condition among those aged 60 years or older in the US. Despite the development of pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions, cLBP outcomes have not improved and disability rates continue to rise. This study aims to test auricular point acupressure (APA) as a non-invasive, nonpharmacological self-management strategy to manage cLBP and to address current shortcomings of cLBP treatment.Methods/design: For this prospective randomized controlled study, participants will be randomly assigned to three groups: (1) APA group (active points related to cLBP), (2) Comparison group-1 (non-active points, unrelated to cLBP), and (3) Comparison group-2 (enhanced educational control, an educational booklet on cLBP will be given and the treatment used by participants for their cLBP will be recorded). The ecological momentary assessment smartphone app will be used to collect real-time cLBP outcomes and adherence to APA practice. Treatment and nonspecific psychological placebo effects will be measured via questionnaires for all participants. This proposed trial will evaluate the APA sustained effects for cLBP at 12-month follow-up. Monthly telephone follow-up will be used to collect study outcomes. Blood will be collected during study visits at baseline, post APA treatment, and follow-up study visits at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months post completion of treatment for a total of seven assessments. Appointments will start between 9 and 11 am to control for circadian variation in cytokine levels.Discussion: This study is expected to provide vital information on the efficacy, sustainability, and underlying mechanism of APA on cLBP necessary for APA to gain acceptance from both healthcare providers and patients, which would provide a strong impetus for including APA as part of cLBP management in clinical and home settings.Trial Registration: ClinicalTrials.gov, ID: NCT03589703. The identification and quantification of phosphorus (P) compounds derived from algal biomass are crucial for a better understanding of algal P dynamics in lake ecosystems. Quantity and species of P in algae collected from Chao Lake (a typical ultra-eutrophic lake) in China were analyzed by chemical analysis and 31P NMR. Total P (TP) in algae biomass ranged from 2671 to 5385 mg kg−1 of dry matter. Proportion of organic P (Po) accounted for 78.3 ± 2.6% in algae biomass collected from the western part of Chao Lake, which was higher than that (64.7 ± 1.4%) in the eastern part of the lake. Eight P species including inorganic P species (orthophosphate and pyrophosphate) and Po species (five monoesters P and diesters P) were identified in NaOH–EDTA extracts of algal samples. Monoesters P accounted for 48.4% in extracted TP, which was the main component of Po. β-glycerophosphates were the largest component of monoesters P, which accounted for 22.6% in extracted TP. This study improved knowledge on the mechanism of the cycling of endogenous P in the aquatic system and would be helpful in developing a strategy for control of repeated algae blooms in eutrophic Chao Lake. Abstract Tai Lake (Ch: Taihu) has attracted international attention forcyanobacteria blooms. However, the drivers of cultural eutrophication, especially long-term socio-economic indicators have been little researched. The results of research demonstrate how socio-economic development affected quality of water and how it has been improved by anthropogenic activities. This study described variability in indicators of water quality in Tai Lakeand investigated thedrivers. Significant relationships existed between concentrations of annual mean total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorous (TP), chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biological oxygen demand (BOD), and population, per capital gross domestic production (GDP) and sewage discharge (p < 0.05). However, mechanisms causing change varied among TN, TP, COD and BOD. Before 2000, the main contributors to increases in concentrations of TN were human population, GDP and volumes of domestic sewage discharges. After 2000, discharges of industrial sewage become the primary contributor. After 1998, the regressions of annual mean TN, TP and COD on per capital GDP, population and domestic sewage discharge were reversed compared to the former period. Since 1999, an apparent inverted U-shaped relationship between environmental pollution and economic development has developed, which indicated that actions taken by governments have markedly improved quality of water in Tai Lake. The statistical relationship between BOD and per capital GDP didn't conform to the Kuznet curve. The U-shaped Kuznet curve may offer hope for the future that with significant environmental investments a high GDP can be reached and maintained without degradation of the environment, especially through appropriate management of industrial sewage discharge. This paper therefore begins by focusing on the social and economic background of shadow education as a crucial way to analyze the education market from the Foucauldian perspective, then concentrates on how a governmentality was constructed in response to a complex education market and education quality challenges, as well as how to govern and regulate the shadow education market, and the art of governmentality, by declaring a series of related central laws and policies. Finally, it presents the complex relationship between governmentality and the self-development of shadow education through three mainstream power sources - government, shadow education institutes and individuals. With shadow education helping to foster student learning, the huge shadow education market could be an appropriate way for the government to boost the economy. However, the tension between the humanistic aims of education and the liberal undertones of the education training market poses a potential threat to the whole Chinese education system. Our initial findings point to the difficulties of achieving overarching control. Should government, shadow education institutes and individuals make the choice to promote shadow education development? Applying Foucauldian governmentality theory, this paper conceives of collective power as a nexus of perpetual planning and strategic action, and substantially focuses on the monitoring and development of shadow education by considering the inclusion of shadow education in the overall education development plan. The adolescent brain is vulnerable to long‐lasting cognitive disturbances resulting from nicotine exposure. Although exercise has been used as an intervention for ameliorating cognitive deficits in various disorders, the effect on cognitive changes induced by nicotine exposure and its underlying mechanisms remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of exercise on nicotine reward‐associated cognitive behaviors in adolescent rats subjected to nicotine conditioned place preference paradigm (CPP). Male adolescent rats were trained on the Go/NoGo task, then subjected to nicotine CPP, and then randomly separated into four groups: sedentary (SED), high‐ (HE), moderate‐ (ME), and low‐intensity (LE) exercise. Rats in exercise groups performed treadmill running 30 min daily for 10 days. Results showed that MEs had shorter escape latencies in the Morris water maze (MWM) test compared to SEDs. Although time spent and distance swam in the target quadrant significantly increased in both the MEs and HEs, the number of target quadrant crosses increased significantly only in MEs. MEs and HEs showed higher performance accuracy on NoGo and lower scores on CPP tasks. Expression of α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) and downstream signaling molecules increased in MEs in prefrontal cortex but not hippocampus, with α7 nAChRs expression positively associated with NoGo accuracy and MWM probe test performance, but negatively correlated with CPP scores. The findings of this study suggest that moderate‐intensity exercise can improve nicotine induced cognitive behaviors, and implicates prefrontal cortical α7 nAChR‐mediated signal transduction as a possible mechanism. Chitosan (CS) is a natural biopolymer from crab shells known for its biocompatibility and biodegradability; however, CS films are extremely rigid, limiting their applications. In this study, CS composite films were prepared based on the selective dissolution of lignin by deep eutectic solvents (DES), and the toughening effect of this DES/lignin on a CS film substrate was examined, along with its corresponding mechanism. The addition of DES/lignin effectively increased the plasticity of the CS film, giving a maximum elongation at break of 62.6 % for the plasticized film, which is 12.5 times that of the CS film. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance analyses showed that molecules in the DES/lignin complex interacted with CS to break the hydrogen bonds between the CS molecules; simultaneously, each molecule recombined with the CS molecules via hydrogen bonding. Thus, the rigidity of the CS molecular chain was weakened to achieve a plasticized CS film, thereby demonstrating the ability of DES/regenerated lignin to improve the toughness of CS films, which provides a reference for modifying plasticity and could lead to the broader utilization of CS films. Objective: To investigate the improvement of perioperative sleep quality and neurocognitive impairment in elderly patients under general anesthesia by nasal administration of dexmedetomidine. Methods: One hundred and twenty patients admitted to our hospital for various laparoscopic elective gynecological surgeries lasting more than 1 h under general anesthesia from July 2021 to March 2023 were selected. All subjects were divided into 3 groups according to the random number table method. From 21:00 to 21:30 every night from one day before to 5 days after surgery, group A was given alprazolam 0.4 mg orally; group B was given dexmedetomidine 1.5ug/kg nasal drip; group C was given saline nasal drip. All subjects were observed for general information, sleep quality, postoperative cognitive function, anxiety status, sleep quality, adverse effects and complication occurrence. Results: The difference in general information between the three groups was not statistically significant, P > 0.05; the sleep quality scores of the three groups on admission were not statistically significant, P > 0.05. At the Preoperative 1d, postoperative 1d, 3d and 5d, the RCSQ scores of the subjects in group A and group B were higher than those in groups C, and with the postoperative RCSQ scores of subjects in group B were higher as the time increased; the assessment of anxiety status in the three groups 1d before surgery was not statistically significant, P > 0.05. The cognitive function scores of subjects in the three groups were not statistically significant in the preoperative 1d, P > 0.05. The postoperative 1d (24.63 ± 2.23), 3d (25.83 ± 2.53), and 5d (26.15 ± 2.01) scores of the subjects in group B were higher than those in groups A and C (P < 0.05), and the subjects in group B had better recovery of postoperative cognitive function with increasing time; the occurrence of postoperative delirium (POD) in group B (12.5%) were lower on postoperative 5d than those in groups A (37.5%) and C (32.5%) (P < 0.05). There was no statistical significance in the evaluation of anxiety state of the three groups on the first day before operation (P > 0.05). The scores in group B were lower than those in group C on the postoperative 1d, 3d, 5 d (P < 0.05). The overall incidence of adverse reactions and complications in subjects in group B was 17.5% significantly lower than that in groups A and C (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Dexmedetomidine can effectively improve the sleep disorder of elderly general anesthesia patients, reduce the damage to their neurocognitive function and the occurrence of POD, effectively reduce the anxiety of patients and the occurrence of adverse reactions and complications, and has better sedative, improve postoperative cognitive function and anti-anxiety effects, with a high drug safety, worthy of clinical application and promotion. It is important to cool data centers for improving IT equipment reliability through indoor temperature control. The air conditioning energy consumption is almost 38% of the total energy consumption. Free cooling in cool days is a promising technology for energy conservation. A pump-driven loop heat pipe (PLHP) system for free cooling was developed and installed in a data center project, which has a high energy efficiency ratio (EER) compared to air conditioners. The running performance of the PLHP system in the case project was tested and studied. The fitting rule of EER and outdoor temperature was obtained. The hourly energy savings and payback periods of the PLHP system for different cities of different climate regions in China were analyzed basing on the fitting formula compared to air conditioners. A national distribution map was developed to show the annual energy saving ratio in China. Results show that the PLHP system provides remarkable energy savings and the indoor temperature is remained at 18°C to 25°C. About 74.2% of Chinese cities lie in regions suitable for applications, and the annual energy saving ratio is over 30%. The average payback period for most cities in China is about 3.9 years. The current direct methanol fuel cells are still largely limited to the neat methanol operation due to the high methanol permeation of the currently used Nafion membranes. To achieve high methanol concentration DMFC application of the sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK)-based proton exchange membrane, the neat SPEEK membrane is here modified by blending with the designed cross-linked fully aromatic sulfonated polyamide (Cr- fa-SPA). As the similar fully aromatic features of the SPEEK and the Cr- fa-SPA and the formed hydrogen bonding interactions between the SPEEK and the Cr- fa-SPA, the SPEEK/Cr- fa-SPA membranes show good compatibility, which is beneficial for the construction of the uniform and contact morphology of the membrane. In addition, the cross-linking network and the hydrogen bonding interactions in the SPEEK/Cr- fa-SPA membranes are favorable for enhancing the dimensional stability and reducing the methanol permeation. In particular, the lowest methanol permeability of 0.46 × 10 cm/s is successfully obtained by blending 40 wt% Cr- fa-SPA in the SPEEK/Cr- fa-SPA membrane, which is almost two magnitudes lower than that of the Nafion 117 membrane. The high dimensional swelling has been considered as one of the most important issues for obstructing sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) membrane with high IEC value as an excellent performance proton exchange membrane (PEM) for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) application. Here, we present a facile way to overcome the issue via blending the fully aromatic polyamide ( fa -PA) into SPEEK membrane. The Influence of the fa -PA on the key properties of the fabricated fa -PA/SPEEK composite membranes ( fa -PASPs) was systematically investigated. As the promising dimensional stability of the fa -PA, the fa -PASPs display excellent dimensional stability both in water and methanol aqueous solution. In addition, the fa -PASPs exhibit uniform and smooth morphology due to the same fully aromatic polyamide backbones as SPEEK and strong hydrogen bonding interactions between fa -PA and SPEEK with significantly reduced methanol crossover. The remarkable cell performance at high methanol concentration up to neat methanol was significantly obtained, suggesting that the prepared fa -PASPs are suitable for using as PEMs in direct methanol fuel cells application. A novel pendant-type cross-linked anion exchange membrane ( pc-AEM) was successfully synthesized using a pre-synthesis approach to precisely control the IEC value and the degree of cross-linking. The physical properties of the pc-AEMs and the non-cross-linked pc-AEMs as well as Nafion 117 were determined, and the results were systematically compared. It was found that the synthesized pc-AEMs show much better dimensional retention capacity than the non-cross-linked pc-AEM and Nafion 117. In addition, the mechanical strength of the pc-AEMs was also remarkably enhanced. By increasing the IEC value of the pc-AEMs to the same level of Nafion 117, the highest ionic conductivity of 0.036 S/cm at 80 °C was reached. In view of the characteristics of a long monitoring period, great environmental interference, slow acquisition speed and lack of automated management in the process of farmland environmental data collection, an innovative approach to monitor paddy environmental information based on DC powerline communication technology was proposed. It analyzes in detail the composition structure. Circuit schematics are designed, and working principles are elaborated; a system program and PC monitoring software are also designed. The system was composed of slave nodes; a master node to collect data from the slave nodes; one server installed on a PC to retrieve, store and present the data; and monitoring software that can present the data via a browser. A communication protocol is adopted to collect data form more slave nodes, and WebSocket and vector markup language (VML) are applied for monitoring software design. Communication distance experimental results indicated that the communication distance can be extended to 3000 m with power of 36 V DC. The accuracy and loss rate experimental results showed that all nodes’ accuracy is higher than 98%. In this work, three-dimensional ordered macroporous FeCo 2 O 4 (3DOM - FeCo 2 O 4) with four different pore diameters was successfully prepared using polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) colloidal crystals as a template. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) study shows that 3DOM - FeCo 2 O 4 with a pore diameter of 176 nm has the best catalytic performance on the thermolysis of ammonium perchlorate (AP). The decomposition peak temperature and apparent activation energy were reduced by 116.5 ℃ and 26.1 kJ/mol, respectively. Thermogravimetry/mass spectrometry (TG/MS) was used to analyze the catalytic mechanism. The result indicates that 3DOM-FeCo 2 O 4 can accelerate the electron transfer from ClO 4 – to NH 4 + to form HClO 4 and NH 3 and the transformation from O 2 to superoxide ion(O 2 –), thus providing active sites for intermediate products of AP and catalyzing the decomposition of AP. Furthermore, the heat release and ignition tests of thermites using 3DOM-FeCo 2 O 4 as the oxidant were carried out. Amphiphilic polymers bearing hydrophobic alkyl groups are expected to be applicable for both ligand presentation on the cell surface and intercellular crosslinking. To explore the optimum design for each application, we synthesized eight different acyl-modified dextrans with varying molecular weight, alkyl length, and alkyl modification degree. We found that the behenate-modified polymers retained on the cell surface longer than the palmitate-modified ones. Since the polymers were also modified with biotin, streptavidin can be presented on the cell surface through biotin-streptavidin recognition. The duration of streptavidin on the cell surface is longer in the behenate-modified polymer than the palmitate-modified one. As for the intercellular crosslinking, the palmitate-modified polymers were more efficient than the behenate-modified polymers. In our arduous efforts to develop new potent HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase (RT) inhibitors (NNRTIs), novel piperidine-linked [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5- a ]pyrimidine derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their antiviral activities in MT-4 cell cultures. Biological results showed that all of the title compounds displayed moderate to excellent activities against wild-type (wt) HIV-1 strain (III B ) with EC 50 values ranging from 8.1 nM to 2284 nM in a cell-based assay. Among them, the most promising analog 7d possessed an EC 50 value of 8.1 nM against wt HIV-1, which was much more potent than the reference drugs DDI, 3 TC, NVP and DLV. Additionally, 7d demonstrated weak activity against the double mutant HIV-1 strain (K103N + Y181C), and was more efficient than NVP in a RT inhibition assay. Besides, some measured and calculated physicochemical properties of 7d , like log P and water solubility, as well as the structure–activity relationships (SARs) analysis have been discussed in detail. Novel aza- C -disaccharide analogues have been conveniently synthesized by using the isoxazoline-linked C -disaccharide derivatives as the intermediates. Background: Damage to podocytes caused by excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) contributes to onset and progression of diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 2 (Nrf2) is a redox-sensing transcription factor that can induce the expression of antioxidant enzymes. We explored whether activation of Nrf2 pathway attenuated hyperglycemia-induced injuries in mouse podocytes. Methods: Tert-Butylhydroquinone (tBHQ) and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) were used to regulate Nrf2 expression. Apoptosis and intracellular superoxide anion production were measured by flow cytometry. The activity of the Nrf2 antioxidant pathway was measured by an antioxidant response element (ARE)-driven luciferase reporter gene assay, and Nrf2 expression was assessed by real-time PCR and western blot analyses. Rechargeable Mg-ion batteries offer high energy density and good safety. However, the lack of cathode materials with high operating potential and considerable capacity is a great challenge for their practical applications. This is limited by the sluggish diffusion of multivalent Mg2+ cations in solid lattices. Here, we propose a co-insertion strategy to facilitate cation diffusions and present a polyanion cathode of Li 3 V 2 (PO 4) 3 to provide high redox potential. The initial charge of the material is associated with the extraction of two Li+ cations, which are co-inserted with Mg2+ from the 0.5 m Mg(ClO 4) 2 /PC electrolyte during the following electrochemical processes. The cation diffusion coefficients are largely enhanced in comparison to the electrode without Li+ co-insertion, and higher capacity is obtained. At room temperature, the Li 3 V 2 (PO 4) 3 electrode delivers 124 mAh g−1 capacity at 100 mA g−1 with discharge plateaus at 0.46 V and −0.44 V vs. Ag/Ag+. A capacity retention of 80% is realized after 300 cycles at 500 mA g−1. A rocking-chair Mg-ion full cell coupling the Li 3 V 2 (PO 4) 3 cathode with an anthraquinone anode achieves 41 mAh g−1 capacity (based on the mass of both electrodes). Abstract: We have designed biotinylated polymers as synthetic receptors that have multiple alkyl groups for endocytotic delivery of target proteins. The polymers were stably attached to a cell surface via multivalent anchoring. The presented biotin was bound to streptavidin (SA) on the cell surface, and, via an endocytotic pathway, the cell rapidly internalized the biotinylated polymer/SA complex. The cell's uptake of the complex was not inhibited by the presence of 10% fetal bovine serum, and its efficacy for the uptake of SA was the highest when compared with commercial reagents and single-anchored-type synthetic receptors. The synthetic receptor-mediated endocytosis can be used generally for other kind of protein by using SA as an adaptor molecule between a target protein and the cell-surface presented biotin. Aqueous zinc-iodine batteries are promising electrochemical energy storage systems due to the high safety and low cost. The application of zinc halide solution as the electrolyte allows the dual-plating mechanism on both electrodes, i.e. the redox reactions of Zn2+/Zn and I 2 /I- at the anode and cathode, respectively. These solid–liquid conversion processes guarantee excellent reaction kinetics. However, soluble polyiodide (I 3 -, I 5 -, etc.) are formed at the cathode either during the oxidation of I- or from the reaction between I- and I 2. The dissolution of polyiodide in electrolytes causes rapid loss of charged products, leading to poor coulombic efficiency and fast self-discharge. Herein, we apply the synergistic regulation of electrode and electrolyte to confine the charged products. The conducting polymer polyaniline (PANI) is used as the polyiodide binder. It contains positively charged nitrogen sites, allowing the doping and effective binding of polyiodide anions through electrostatic attraction. At the same time, the complex in zinc halide electrolytes is regulated to eliminate free iodide anions and prevent the reaction with I 2 to form more polyiodide. The optimized zinc-iodine aqueous battery delivers excellent rate capability thanks to the facile solid–liquid reactions as well as the high electrical conductivity of PANI. More importantly, it achieves a high coulombic efficiency of 99.2% with the capacity of 2 mAh cm−2 at 6 mA cm−2, and an excellent capacity retention of 99.9% after 1000 cycles is realized upon long-term cycling. Abstract: Long-term stable (>2years) hydrocolloids of hydroxyapatite (HA) were synthesized via a low-temperature (18–50°C) reaction of aqueous ammonium phosphate with calcium nitrate in the presence of citrate ions, followed by an aging process at high temperature (80–99°C) for 4h. Changing the reaction and/or aging temperature seldom yielded stable HA hydrocolloids. The as-prepared hydrocolloids were desalinated through ultrafiltration where their average particle size gradually decreased, bottomed out at 100–400μS/cm, and sharply increased in parallel with a decrease in solution conductivity. The colloid formation is most likely through a temperature-sensitive aggregates–breakdown process. During low-temperature reaction, citrate–calcium chelation bridges the growing HA particles into loose aggregates. High-temperature aging disrupts these inter-particle links and thus breaks the aggregates, imparting negative charges to the HA, forming colloidal particles stabilized by surface charge. The decrease in mean particle size during early ultrafiltration suggested that the aggregate breakdown further proceeded through desalination. In conclusion, the temperature-dependent interactions between citrate ions and calcium sites on HA particles played key roles in the synthesis and stability of the HA colloids. Abstract: In this paper, the problem of finite-time boundedness (FTB) for neural networks with parameter uncertainties is studied. We extend the concept of FTB for neural networks. Based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, a sufficient condition is derived to guarantee FTB for uncertain neural networks. Besides, we also simply give a sufficient condition for certain systems. Finally, illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed theoretical results. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate the expression and function of basic leucine zipper ATF-like transcription factor (BATF) in colorectal cancer (CRC), and its correlation with 2-deoxy-2[18F]fluoro-d-glucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) parameters. Methods: The TIMER database, GEPIA database, TCGA, and GEO database were used to analyze the expression profile of BATF in human cancers. The reverse transcription‑quantitative PCR and western blot analyses were used to evaluate the mRNA level and protein expression in different CRC cell lines. The expression of BATF in SW620 and HCT116 cells was silenced and cell counting kit-8 assays and clonogenic assay were utilized to evaluate the role of BATF in CRC proliferation. The expression of tumor BATF and glucose transporter 1 (GLUT-1) were examined using immunohistochemical tools in 37 CRC patients undergoing preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging. The correlation between the PET/CT parameters and immunohistochemical result was evaluated. Results: In database, BATF was highly expressed in pan-cancer analyses, including CRC, and was associated with poor prognosis in CRC. In vitro, the results showed that knocking down of BATF expression could inhibit the proliferation of SW620 and HCT116 cells. In CRC patients, BATF expression was upregulated in tumor tissues compared with matched para-tumoral tissues, and was related with gender and Ki-67 levels. BATF expression was positively related to GLUT-1 expression and PET/CT parameters, including tumor size, maximum standard uptake value, metabolic tumor volume, and total lesion glycolysis. The multiple logistic analyses showed that SUVmax was an independent predictor of BATF expression. With 15.96 g/cm3 as the cutoff, sensitivity was 85.71%, specificity 82.61%, and area-under-the-curve 0.854. Conclusion: BATF may be an oncogene associated with 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters in CRC. Methods: Asthmatic SD rats were first sensitized and established through ovalbumin (OVA) motivation. Subsequently, Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining, Masson's trichrome (Masson) staining, Periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining and inflammatory cytokines assay of interleukin (IL)-4, IL-6, IL-17 were implemented to evaluate the protective effects of Chelidonium majus on asthma. Then, the effects of Chelidonium majus and their molecular mechanisms of action on asthma were detected based on the integration of transcriptomics and metabolomics analyses. Results: After administration with Chelidonium majus, the histological injuries of inflammation, collagen deposition and mucus secretion in lungs were attenuated and the serum inflammatory cytokines perturbations were also converted. Furthermore, integrated analysis revealed that after Chelidonium majus treatment, 7 different expression genes (DEGs) (Alox15, P4ha1, Pla2g16, Pde3a, Nme1, Entpd8 and Adcy9) and 9 metabolic biomarkers (ADP, Xanthosine, Hypoxanthine, Inosine, prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), prostaglandin F2a (PGF2a), phosphatidylserine, Creatine and LysoPC (10:0)) were discovered to be connected with the enrichment metabolic pathways, including Purine metabolism, Arachidonic acid metabolism, Arginine and proline metabolism and Glycerophospholipid metabolism. The obtained metabolic biomarkers and DEGs were mainly related to energy metabolism and inflammation, and may be potential therapeutic targets. Conclusion: Chelidonium majus relieved OVA-induced asthma in rats by regulating the Alox15, P4ha1, Pla2g16, Pde3a, Nme1, Entpd8 and Adcy9 genes expression to restore the disorders in energy metabolism and inflammation. Purpose: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) has a poor prognosis due to the absence of effective therapeutic targets. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family are expressed in 30–60% of TNBC, therefore providing potential therapeutic targets for TNBC. Aflibercept (Abe), a humanized recombinant fusion protein specifically bound to VEGF-A, B and placental growth factor (PIGF), has proven to be effective in the treatment in some cancers. Therefore, 89Zr/177Lu-labeled Abe was investigated for its theranostic role in TNBC. Methods: Abe was radiolabeled with 89Zr and 177Lu via the conjugation of chelators. Flow cytometry and cell immunofluorescent staining were performed to evaluate the binding affinity of Abe. Sequential PET imaging and fluorescent imaging were conducted in TNBC tumor bearing mice following the injection of 89Zr-labeled Abe and Cy5.5-labeled Abe. Treatment study was performed after the administration of 177Lu-labeled Abe. Tumor volume and survival were monitored and SPECT imaging and biodistribution studies were conducted. Safety evaluation was performed including body weight, blood cell measurement, and hematoxylin–eosin (H&E) staining of major organs. Expression of VEGF and CD31 was tested by immunohistochemical staining. Dosimetry was estimated using the OLINDA software. Results: FITC-labeled Abe showed a strong binding affinity to VEGF in TNBC 4T1 cells and HUVECs by flow cytometry and cell immunofluorescence. Tumor uptake of 89Zr-labeled Abe peaked at 120 h (SUVmax = 3.2 ± 0.64) and persisted before 168 h (SUVmax = 2.54 ± 0.42). The fluorescence intensity of the Cy5.5-labeled Abe group surpassed that of the Cy5.5-labeled IgG group, implying that Cy5.5-labeled Abe is a viable candidate monitoring in vivo tumor targeting and localization. 177Lu-labeled Abe (11.1 MBq) served well as the therapeutic component to suppress tumor growth with standardized tumor volume at 16 days, significantly smaller than PBS group (about 815.66 ± 3.58% vs 3646.52 ± 11.10%, n = 5, P < 0.01). Moreover, SPECT images confirmed high contrast between tumors and normal organs, indicating selective tumor uptake of 177Lu-labeled Abe. No discernible abnormalities in blood cells, and no evident histopathological abnormality observed in liver, spleen, and kidney. Immunohistochemical staining showed that 177Lu-labeled Abe effectively inhibited the expression of VEGF and CD31 of tumor, suggesting that angiogenesis may be suppressed by 177Lu-labeled Abe. The whole-body effective dose for an adult human was estimated to be 0.16 mSv/MBq. Conclusion: 89Zr/177Lu-labeled Abe could be a TNBC-specific marker with diagnostic value and provide insights into targeted therapy in the treatment of TNBC. To explore immune cell infiltration and PDL1 expression in the tumor microenvironment (TME) of primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), we performed immunohistochemical staining on paraffin-embedded tumor tissues from 34 patients diagnosed with PCNSL. CD8 and CD163 positive cells were manually counted, and PDL1 expression was quantified by the H-score scoring method in the tumor center and around the tumor. The Kaplan–Meier method was used to analyze the prognostic value of the TME. We found obvious infiltration of CD8+ CTLs and CD163+ TAMs in the TME of PCNSL patients. And PDL1 was expressed in the tumor center as well as around the tumor. Survival analysis showed that high CD8+ CTLs levels and high intratumoral PDL1 expression were significantly correlated with longer OS. Herein, a novel electrospun single‐ion conducting polymer electrolyte (SIPE) composed of nanoscale mixed poly(vinylidene fluoride‐co‐hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF‐HFP) and lithium poly(4,4′‐diaminodiphenylsulfone, bis(4‐carbonyl benzene sulfonyl)imide) (LiPSI) is reported, which simultaneously overcomes the drawbacks of the polyolefin‐based separator (low porosity and poor electrolyte wettability and thermal dimensional stability) and the LiPF6 salt (poor thermal stability and moisture sensitivity). The electrospun nanofiber membrane (es‐PVPSI) has high porosity and appropriate mechanical strength. The fully aromatic polyamide backbone enables high thermal dimensional stability of es‐PVPSI membrane even at 300 °C, while the high polarity and high porosity ensures fast electrolyte wetting. Impregnation of the membrane with the ethylene carbonate (EC)/dimethyl carbonate (DMC) (v:v = 1:1) solvent mixture yields a SIPE offering wide electrochemical stability, good ionic conductivity, and high lithium‐ion transference number. Based on the above‐mentioned merits, Li/LiFePO4 cells using such a SIPE exhibit excellent rate capacity and outstanding electrochemical stability for 1000 cycles at least, indicating that such an electrolyte can replace the conventional liquid electrolyte–polyolefin combination in lithium ion batteries (LIBs). In addition, the long‐term stripping–plating cycling test coupled with scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of lithium foil clearly confirms that the es‐PVPSI membrane is capable of suppressing lithium dendrite growth, which is fundamental for its use in high‐energy Li metal batteries. LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 with core-shell structure shows an efficiently catalytic effect for the thermal decomposition of energetic compounds. • The core-shell structured LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 was synthesized using solvothermal method. • The special core-shell structure provides high dispersibility and large surface area. • The produced charge carriers in LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 can accelerate the thermolysis of AP. • LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 shows excellent catalytic effects on thermolysis of energetic compounds. Large particle size and low specific surface area are two major factors of restricting metal oxides as combustion catalyst with high performance. The construction of three-dimensional (3D) heterojunction materials with synergistic effect is conducive to enhancing the catalytic activity. In this work, LaFeO 3 were prepared by a facile solvo-thermal method and post-heat treament. However, the LaFeO 3 with a large particle size shows poor specific surface area, resulting in a low catalytic activity. In order to improve its catalytic activity, a 3D core/shell heterostructured LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 composite was constructed by coupling LaFeO 3 with MnO 2. The core-shell structured LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 provides a larger specific surface area and high catalytic effect on the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP) with a reduced decomposition temperature from 403.73 °C to 281.38 °C, an enhanced energy release from 649.6 J·g−1 to 966.5 J·g−1, and a decreased apparent activation energy from 139.05 kJ·mol−1 to 110.88 kJ·mol−1. Additionally, LaFeO 3 @MnO 2 also shows efficient catalytic effects on the thermal decomposition of hexanitrohexaazaisowurzitane (CL-20) and cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine (HMX). Highly sensitive flexible three-dimensional (3D) force tactile sensors with synergistic normal and tangential force perception are urgently required for emerging electronic skin (e-skin) applications. Herein, for the first time we report a new type of capacitive 3D-force tactile sensor with high sensitivity (1.08 and 1.20 N−1 corresponding to respective normal and tangential force range of 0.7 and 0.6 N) and flexibility, rapid dynamic response (response/recovery time of ∼40/∼100 ms) and low hysteresis (5.93%) based on a U-shaped groove structure. These are developed by a low-cost, practical and efficient 3D printing technique along with a layer-by-layer assembly method. The theoretical mechanism is established to elaborate the corresponding working principle and sensing performance, which is further complementarily verified by finite element modeling (FEM). The results of theoretical calculation, FEM simulation and experimental measurements are in good agreement, consolidating the effectiveness of the developed devices as flexible 3D-force tactile sensors. Importantly, the proposed theoretical model provides constructive and general guidance for capacitive sensors. The capability of our 3D-force tactile sensor used as a flexible e-skin for tactile sensing is confirmed by gripping and slipping detection, as well as rocker movement detection. The developed flexible 3D-force tactile sensors are promising candidates for a wide range of applications, e.g. artificial skins, soft robots, intelligent prosthesis, and human–machine interface systems. New evidences suggest that long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) may play important roles in a variety of kidney diseases, including diabetic nephropathy (DN). Our present study investigated the potential function of LINC00462 in high glucose (HG)‐induced apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells (RTEC) and to determine the underlying mechanism. The expression of LINC00462 in renal biopsy tissues was examined using quantitative reverse‐transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR). Then, a loss of function assay was performed to determine the protective effect of LINC00462 in HG‐induced RTEC damage. In addition, the downstream signaling pathway of LINC00462 was also investigated. The qRT‐PCR results showed that the expression of LINC00462 was significantly up‐regulated in renal biopsies from DN patients. At the same time, LINC00462 was enhanced in a glucose concentration‐ and time‐dependent manner in human kidney (HK‐2 and HKC) cells subjected to HG treatment. The knockdown of LINC00462 improved the significantly reduced cell viability of HG treatment, decreased HG‐induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) and malondialdehyde levels, and up‐regulated the response of antioxidant systems to ROS by increasing superoxide dismutase and catalase levels. In addition, knockdown of LINC00462 inhibited HG‐induced cell apoptosis and affected the expression of apoptosis‐related proteins. Most importantly, we found that knockdown of LINC00462 enhanced the expression of p‐AKT. Moreover, AKT‐specific inhibitor LY294002 restored the effect of LINC00462 knockdown on apoptosis. In conclusion, our study demonstrated that knockdown of LINC00462 can ameliorate oxidative stress and apoptosis in HG‐induced RTEC by activating the AKT pathway, suggesting that knockdown of LINC00462 may provide a potential therapeutic approach for DN. This study was designed to investigate the role of aquaporin 1 (AQP1) in ferroptosis, macrophage polarization, mitochondrial dysfunction, and impaired autophagy of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells and explored the underlying mechanisms. Si-AQP1-mediated AQP1 silencing RAW264.7 cells was constructed. Si-P53-mediated P53 silencing or pcDNA-P53 overexpression RAW264.7 cells was constructed. Assays of ATP, reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), and Mitochondrial membrane potential (JC-1) staining were performed to evaluate mitochondrial biological function. Assays of flow cytometry, reactive oxygen species (ROS) staining, western blot (WB), RT-qPCR, malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), and total superoxide dismutase (SOD) were performed to detect cell ferroptosis, macrophage polarization, and impaired autophagy. The involvement of the P53 pathway was revealed by WB. The results showed that LPS (30 μg/mL) could induce ferroptosis, M1 polarization, mitochondrial dysfunction, and autophagy damage in RAW264.7 cells. Meanwhile, the expression of AQP1 was increased and the expression of P53 was decreased. In addition, Pifithrin-α (PIF; 15 μM), a P53 inhibitor, significantly aggravated ferroptosis, M1 polarization, mitochondrial dysfunction, and autophagy damage as well as up-regulation of AQP1 protein expression in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Interestingly, this phenomenon was markedly alleviated by Kevetrin hydrochloride (70 μM), a P53 agonist. Mechanistically, silencing AQP1 significantly alleviated ferroptosis, M1 polarization, mitochondrial dysfunction, and autophagy damage by up-regulating the expression of P53 in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Indeed, inhibition of P53 expression by PIF treatment dramatically reversed this effect on the basis of LPS+si-AQP1. Therefore, we concluded for the first time that AQP1 can promote ferroptosis, M1 polarization, mitochondrial dysfunction, and autophagy impairment by inhibiting the expression of P53 in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells, and AQP1 or P53 may be considered as a crucial determiner that can regulate the biological behavior of RAW264.7 cells stimulated by LPS. Abstract Dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) derived from sediments plays an active role in biogeochemical cycling of nutrients in aquatic ecosystems. Sediments from four eutrophic lakes were studied using three-dimensional fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (3DEEM) spectra and supelite XAD-8 macroporous resin separation to investigate the bioavailability of hydrophilic and hydrophobic DON to algae (Microcystis flos-aquae (Wittr.) Kirchner). The results showed that the average loss of DON was <6.0% after dividing DON into hydrophilic and hydrophobic components, demonstrating the utility of XAD-8 resin separation in the study of DON components from lake sediments. The 3DEEM analysis showed that hydrophobic and hydrophilic DON comprised humic- and protein-like materials, respectively. During the incubation period, the bioavailability of hydrophilic DON, which accounted for 59.3%–80.4% of total DON, stimulated algal growth, suggesting that hydrophilic DON was the primary source of organic nitrogen for algae. In contrast, hydrophobic DON increased algal density by only 31.8% of that observed for hydrophilic DON, and had a small (accounted for 20.0%–26.6% of total DON) effect on algal growth over the short-term. The significant differences in algal growth between the two types of DON suggested that they should be considered separately in the eutrophic lake restorations.
