The main goal of this study is to analyze the magnetic, dielectric, and magneto-dielectric characteristics of Pb1− x La x Ti1− x O 3 - (Ba1–3 x Nd2 x )4Co2Fe36O60 (where x = 0.25) composite material at various temperatures T1-T3 (i.e 1100°C ,1200°C, 1300°C respectively). The X-ray diffraction investigation has been introduced in order to pinpoint the creation of the U-type hexaferrite phase. SEM micrographs reveal that sample sintered at T2 reached the maximum value of grain size and the largest experimental density value of 6.14 g/cm3 due to the composite material's intensified grain growth. The magnetic investigations further indicate that the sample T2 achieved the highest remnant magnetization, measuring 1.550 emu/g, revealing the accuracy of the sintering temperature. The magneto-dielectric investigations demonstrate the presence of multiferroicity in all samples, and came to the conclusion that sample T2 exhibits the highest magneto-dielectric response of 41.99 at 1.2 Tesla and a magneto-dielectric coefficient (γ) of around 0.7609 g2/emu2. Numerous metrics, including nyquist plots, impedance, electrical modulus, dielectric constant, and conductivity, were carefully examined in order to determine the electrical properties of the proposed sample. It was found that sample T2 produced the enhanced results and had the right temperature for the substance to develop.

Abstract: Plantains are termed as ‘culinary bananas’ due to the fact that they are only consumed after cooking or other forms of processing. Providing good nutritional value and versatility in diet, it is considered an important commercial crop and an efficient dietary staple in Africa. However, irrespective of geographical locations and economic status of diverse ethnic groups, plantains are consumed extensively due to their easy availability and preparation. They are prepared and consumed in numerous forms between the green and yellow stages of maturity and ripeness. The nutritional composition of plantains provides several health benefits and therapeutic applications, making it preferable for consumption. They are processed for the further development of a variety of products like biscuits, baby foods, bread, etc. The present review aims to enlist various traditional dishes and the value-added products prepared from plantains after processing. It also highlights other diverse uses of plantain where all the parts of the crop are functional and demonstrate its potential in future scope.

Background: Uterine leiomyomas are the most common benign tumors, affecting 30% of women of reproductive age. Submucous myomas are seen in 5.5-10% of all myomas. This study aimed to compare clinical, peri, and post-op outcomes of hysteroscopic and laparoscopic myomectomy in large type 2 submucous myomas. Methods: A prospective study was performed on 50 patients with large submucous type 2 leiomyomas measuring 3-5cm from October 2020 to August 2022. Patients were randomized into two groups of 25 each. Group A underwent hysteroscopic myomectomy and group B underwent laparoscopic myomectomy. Results: There was no significant difference in the demographic data of both groups except parity. Perioperative outcomes including bleeding, pain, and hospital stay were significantly higher in the laparoscopy group. None of our patients had air embolism. One patient had blindness in the postoperative period. 2 patients had uterine perforation in the hysteroscopy group. Postoperative pain was higher in the laparoscopy group. Recurrence at 3 months was seen in 2 patients of group A. Asherman syndrome was seen in group A. Single-stage success rate was seen higher in the laparoscopy group. Conclusions: Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy both are feasible techniques of myomectomy for submucous leiomyomas but for removal of large submucous leiomyomas laparoscopy myomectomy is considered better. For successful removal of large myomas in single-stage hysteroscopy, use of hysteroscopic morcellation should be considered.

Radiological investigations are essential for the diagnosis and classification of fungal rhinosinusitis; however, radiological findings might occasionally be misleading. Computed tomography (CT) scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) complement each other, facilitating clinicians to arrive at a diagnosis. Hence, even with the best radiological modalities, correlation between clinical and microbiological findings is crucial for the accurate diagnosis of fungal rhinosinusitis. In addition, the role of traditional methods such as KOH microscopy and culture should be accurately evaluated. To this end, we aimed to diagnose rhinosinusitis with a fungal etiology based on radiological findings and subsequently correlate these findings with those of microbiological techniques, namely culture and KOH microscopy. A total of 57 clinically suspected fungal rhinosinusitis cases were included in the study. Radiological investigations were performed using either CT or MRI. Tissues samples were processed and analyzed using KOH microscopy and culture. The results of the study suggest that using a single method for the diagnosis of fungal rhinosinusitis is inadequate. Rather, the diagnosis should be based on radiological as well as microbiological findings, especially for cases that are clinically ambiguous.

The purpose of this research is to gain a better understanding of how co-creation, engagement, and participation work together to improve relationship quality within the context of co-creation in brand communities. The study uses a cross-sectional survey that was conducted among the members of various brand communities from Canada and the United States. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was used to examine the strength, significance, and effect sizes of the relationships. The findings indicate that participation has a significant impact on brand community engagement and brand community relationship quality. Furthermore, responsible information behavior appears to be the most effective strategy to encourage participation and thereby increase engagement and relationship quality with the brand community. The results confirm previous researchers’ findings with regard to how to encourage participation and enhance relationship quality in the context of co-creation in brand communities. The study is unique in its ability to determine how these variables work together in order to achieve that goal, rather than studying their individual impacts on the construct. We are able to get a more augmented and strategic perspective on how to achieve the goals of engagement and enhanced relationship quality in brand communities.

IntroductionDue to the accelerated pace and quantum of scientific publication during the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of articles on COVID-19 have been retracted. Pre-prints though not peer-reviewed offer the advantage of rapid dissemination of new findings. In this study, we aim to systematically compare the article characteristics, time to retraction, social media attention, citations, and reasons for retraction between retracted pre-print and peer-reviewed articles on COVID-19.MethodsWe utilized the Retraction Watch database to identify retracted articles on COVID-19 published from 1st January 2020 to 10th March 2022. The articles were reviewed and metadata such as article characteristics (type, category), time to retraction, reasons for retraction, and Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) and citation count were collected.ResultsWe identified 40 retracted pre-prints and 143 retracted peer-reviewed articles. The median (IQR) retraction time for pre-print and peer-reviewed articles was 29 (10-81.5) days and 139 (63-202) days (p = 0.0001). Pre-prints and peer-reviewed article had median (IQR) AAS of 26.5 (4-1155) and 8 (1-38.5), respectively (p = 0.0082). The median (IQR) citation count for pre-prints and peer-reviewed articles was 3 (0-14) and 3 (0-17), respectively (p = 0.5633). The AAS and citation counts were correlated for both pre-prints (r = 0.5200, p = 0.0006) and peer-reviewed articles(r = 0.5909, p = 0.0001). The commonest reason for retraction for pre-prints and peer-reviewed articles concerns about data and results.ConclusionThe increased adoption of pre-prints results in faster identification of erroneous articles compared to the traditional peer-review process.

Background and aims There seems to be hesitation in the general population in accepting COVID 19 vaccine because of associated myths and/or misinformation. This study is dedicated to develop and validate a tool to interpret vaccine acceptance and/or hesitancy by assessing the knowledge, attitude, practices, and concerns regarding the COVID vaccine. Material and methods Mixed methods study design was used. In phase 1, the questionnaire was developed through literature review, focus group discussion, expert evaluation, and pre-testing. In phase 2, the validity of the questionnaire was obtained by conducting a cross-sectional survey on 201 participants. The construct validity was established via principal component analysis. Cronbach’s alpha value was used to assess the reliability of the questionnaire. Results The 39-item questionnaire to assess the knowledge, attitude, practices, and concerns regarding the COVID-19 vaccine was developed. The Cronbach’s alpha value of the questionnaire was 0.86 suggesting a good internal consistency. Conclusion The developed tool is valid to assess the knowledge, attitude, practices and concerns regarding the COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and/or hesitancy. It has the potential utility for healthcare workers and government authorities to further build vaccine literacy.

Synthesis of polycrystalline (Pb1-xNdx)(Ti1-xFex)O3(for x = 0.21–0.30) solid solutions using solid-state reaction method has been reported. The structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, magnetic, and magnetoelectric properties of the resulting solid solutions have been investigated in detail. The XRD data show that the phase transition occurs at 0.27 ≤ x ≤ 0.28 at room temperature. The dielectric studies show that the transition temperature continuously decreases with increasing “x”. So it is clearly evident from XRD and dielectric data that the tetragonal to cubic phase transition occurs at x = 0.27 to x = 0.28 at room temperature. The remnant polarization (Pr) decreases from 19.78 μC/cm2 to 11.13 µC/cm2 gradually up to x = 0.25 whereas other samples exhibit lossy behavior. The remnant magnetization (Mr) continuously increases from 0.068 emu/g to 0.467 emu/g with composition. All samples exhibit a positive magnetoelectric effect which is the strongest in x = 0.22 sample.

Background and aims The impact of measures taken to contain COVID-19 on lifestyle-related behaviour is undefined in Indian population. The current study was undertaken to assess the impact of COVID-19 on lifestyle-related behaviours: eating, physical activity and sleep behaviour. Methods The study is a cross-sectional web-based survey. A validated questionnaire to assess the changes in lifestyle-related behaviour was administered on adults across India using a Google online survey platform. Results A total of 995 responses (58.5% male, mean age 33.3 years) were collected. An improvement in healthy meal consumption pattern and a restriction of unhealthy food items was observed, especially in the younger population (age, Highlights • COVID-19 has affected every aspect of the lifestyle of citizens. • Slight improvement was seen in eating behavior, majorly by reduction in intake of high fat, sugar, salt and sugar foods. • A significant decline was seen in overall physical activity coupled with increase in sitting and screen time. • One third of the sample gained weight during COVID-19.

PurposeBrand communities are an increasingly important way for brands to interact with their customers, as they give brands an opportunity to learn from and interact with people with a demonstrated interest in the brand. Literature has explored the difference between lurkers and posters within these brand communities. However, there are other ways to segment members, just as there are many ways to segment customers of products and services – and this paper aims to be a step toward going beyond simple lurking vs posting behavior as a means of differentiating community members. As such, the purpose of this paper is to segment brand communities based on not only their participation behavior but also their identification with the brand community, loyalty and benefits gained from membership.Design/methodology/approachThis study used a cross-sectional survey of members of various brand communities in North America. Partial least squares structural equation modeling together with finite mixture partial least squares and prediction-oriented segmentation was used to discover the distinct segments of brand community members.FindingsThe findings indicate that there are two distinct segments that behave differently regarding their behavior, attitudes and motives. Segment one has a stronger relationship between identification and other outcomes and is also more motivated by social enhancement than segment two. Thus, it is clear that brand community members can be segmented and served based on more than their posting behavior.Originality/valueThe members of brand communities have often been thought of as homogeneous. This paper is unique in identifying heterogeneity among the members of the brand community and demonstrates the need for brand community managers to identify these differences and manage the brand community accordingly.

The U-type hexaferrites ([Formula: see text][Formula: see text]Co2[Formula: see text][Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text] 0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25) have been synthesized by auto-combustion method. The work involves the study of structural, microstructural, dielectric, magnetic and magneto-dielectric properties of the prepared materials. The structural analysis has been done by X-ray diffraction technique along with Le Bail refinement which confirmed the pure hexagonal phase for all the samples. The microstructural analysis has been carried out by field-emission scanning electron microscopy. The vibrating sample magnetometer is used to measure the magnetic properties. The sample with a composition of [Formula: see text] 0.15 has shown the maximum magnetization of approximately 73.31 emu/g with the remnant magnetization of 38.89 emu/g and coercive field of 1.77 kOe at room temperature. Moreover, the same sample has delivered the maximum magneto-dielectric response of about 54.18% at 1.5-T field.

Solid state reaction route has been utilized to synthesize Na0.42K0.08Bi0.50Mg0.05Ti0.95O3−δ solid solution. Impedance plots are used to examine electrical attributes as a function of frequency (100 Hz –1 MHz) and temperature (10 °C–50 °C). The existence of bulk and grain boundary contributions in the impedance has been revealed by the nature of Nyquist plots. The presence of conductivity relaxation in the sample is indicated by the merging of normalized plots of modulus ( M ″ ) profile. The ac conductivity follows Jonscher’s Power law, and suggested the correlated barrier hopping (CBH) conduction mechanism, whereas, the dc conductivity is found to be Arrhenius dependent. The activation energies computed from the conductivity and relaxation patterns are nearly identical which are 1.30 eV and 1.39 eV respectively.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to compare satisfied and non-satisfied customers in the context of wine tasting rooms using the SERVQUAL model and to examine the relationships in the model in terms of service experience to better understand customer needs. Design/methodology/approach The data used in this study were derived from a survey conducted among wineries in British Columbia, Canada. Analysis of survey results using the partial least squares structural equation modeling was undertaken. Sample size was 402. Findings The findings show that the SERVQUAL constructs that had the most impact on customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction were tangibility and assurance. Somewhat surprisingly, the perceived value for money construct was not significantly related to customer satisfaction but was significantly related to repurchase intent. Furthermore, all SERVQUAL constructs, except the reliability construct, were significantly related to customer satisfaction. Originality/value This study provides an overview of how wineries can improve their services to increase the number of satisfied customers.

Spirulina subsalsa (MF191711) isolated from the waterlogged area of Punjab, India, was identified by 16S rRNA sequence analysis. The Placket- Burman design and central composite design (CCD) were used to screen and optimize the significant cultural factors. The most desirable results correspond to the optimal conditions: 11.5 pH, 20 °C temperature, 81 μmolm−2 s−1 light intensity, 25 days growth period, 15 mM CaCl2, NaNO3 5 mM and 2 mM K2HPO4, which were very proximate to the CCD predicted optimal values. These optimal conditions resulted in 1.60-fold higher biomass compared to basal conditions (0.987gL−1). Further, co-digestion of 70% paddy straw with 30% microalgal biomass resulted in the highest ultimate biogas yield (P:260.03 mLg−1VS) with reduced lag phase (λ:3.84 d) and increased rate of biogas production (Rm:8.16 mLg−1d −1), compared to paddy straw and microalgal biomass individually. Thus, it can be concluded that co-digestion of Spirulina subsalsa with paddy straw results in enhanced biogas production.

Digital technology is a boon to some and bane to many. Although it has brought much positivity with its emergence, the other half seems to have several ill effects on the users that are every time soaked in technology. The following study focuses on finding the cause and effect of an increase in mobile screen time and analyzing the needs of digital detoxification of young user groups who are continuously in touch with their mobile devices, specifically in India. The approach follows and describes the process of designing an effective mobile platform that manages the screen time of users between the different social and entertainment options available to them online and offline within their reach, which can result in increased concentration, positive behaviours. We can bifurcate the opportunity to fix into three spaces namely the problem space, the strategy space, and the solution space. The complete process is split into six phases, discover, define, dream, design, develop, and deliver phase. The first two phases fall into the problem space and the following two phases fall into the strategy space and the final two phases are part of the solution space, respectively. Every phase has different User experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) methods following which we gather constructive insights and use these insights to have a deep understanding of the user's behaviour, needs, and pain points throughout their journey while being in touch with their technical devices. It helps to define the usefulness and effectiveness, the constraints that the design strategy may have like technology, business, environment, and the end goal that the product aims to achieve. This is supported by doing strict user research and setting up an empathy that resonates with the user's point of view. The solution is then proposed, prototyped, and tested to fill in the desired success metrics. This is done in collaboration with engineering teams who'll finally delivery a fiished product to detox a tech-addict user.

Present work investigates the detailed multiferroic properties of Pb1 − xSmxTi1−xFexO3, (x = 0.21, 0.22, 0.23, 0.24 and 0.25) synthesize through solid state reaction route. The structural, dielectric, ferroelectric and magnetic properties were measured. A sincere study is carried out to detect the magneto-electric coupling in all the samples through magneto-dielectric, magnetization after electric poling and magneto-pe response. The maximum value of coupling coefficient (γ) and magneto-dielectric response (MDR) of sample x = 0.24 has shown by magneto-dielectric properties and magnetization after electric poling whereas magneto-pe has shown that all the samples possess multiferroic nature.

Brief AbstractWe analysed SARS-CoV-2 surveillance and contact tracing data from Karnataka, India up to 21 July 2020. We estimated metrics of infectiousness and the tendency for superspreading (overdispersion), and evaluated potential determinants of infectiousness and symptomaticity in COVID-19 cases. Among 956 cases confirmed to be forward-traced, 8.7% of index cases had 14.4% of contacts but caused 80% of all secondary cases, suggesting significant heterogeneity in individual-level transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 which could not be explained by the degree of heterogeneity in underlying number of contacts. Secondary attack rate was 3.6% among 16715 close contacts. Transmission was higher when index case was aged >18 years, or was symptomatic (adjusted risk ratio, aRR 3.63), or was lab-confirmed ≥4 days after symptom onset (aRR 3.01). Probability of symptomatic infection increased with age, and symptomatic infectors were 8.16 times more likely to generate symptomatic secondaries. This could potentially cause a snowballing effect on infectiousness and clinical severity across transmission generations; further studies are suggested to confirm this. Mean serial interval was 5.4 days. Adding backward contact tracing and targeting control measures to curb super-spreading may be prudent. Due to low symptomaticity and infectivity, interventions aimed at children might have a relatively small impact on reducing transmission.Structured AbstractBackgroundIndia has experienced the second largest outbreak of COVID-19 globally, yet there is a paucity of studies analysing contact tracing data in the region. Such studies can elucidate essential transmission metrics which can help optimize disease control policies.MethodsWe analysed contact tracing data collected under the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme from Karnataka, India between 9 March and 21 July 2020. We estimated metrics of disease transmission including the reproduction number (R), overdispersion (k), secondary attack rate (SAR), and serial interval. R and k were jointly estimated using a Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo approach. We evaluated the effect of age and other factors on the risk of transmitting the infection, probability of asymptomatic infection, and mortality due to COVID-19.FindingsUp to 21 July, we found 111 index cases that crossed the super-spreading threshold of ≥8 secondary cases. R and k were most reliably estimated at R 0.75 (95% CI, 0.62-0.91) and k 0.12 (0.11-0.15) for confirmed traced cases (n=956); and R 0.91 (0.72-1.15) and k 0.22 (0.17-0.27) from the three largest clusters (n=394). Among 956 confirmed traced cases, 8.7% of index cases had 14.4% of contacts but caused 80% of all secondary cases. Among 16715 contacts, overall SAR was 3.6% (3.4-3.9) and symptomatic cases were more infectious than asymptomatic cases (SAR 7.7% vs 2.0%; aRR 3.63 [3.04-4.34]). As compared to infectors aged 19-44 years, children were less infectious (aRR 0.21 [0.07-0.66] for 0-5 years and 0.47 [0.32-0.68] for 6-18 years). Infectors who were confirmed ≥4 days after symptom onset were associated with higher infectiousness (aRR 3.01 [2.11-4.31]). Probability of symptomatic infection increased with age, and symptomatic infectors were 8.16 (3.29-20.24) times more likely to generate symptomatic secondaries. Serial interval had a mean of 5.4 (4.4-6.4) days with a Weibull distribution. Overall case fatality rate was 2.5% (2.4-2.7) which increased with age.ConclusionWe found significant heterogeneity in the individual-level transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 which could not be explained by the degree of heterogeneity in the underlying number of contacts. To strengthen contact tracing in over-dispersed outbreaks, testing and tracing delays should be minimised, retrospective contact tracing should be considered, and contact tracing performance metrics should be utilised. Targeted measures to reduce potential superspreading events should be implemented. Interventions aimed at children might have a relatively small impact on reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission owing to their low symptomaticity and infectivity. Case fatality rate (CFR) and doubling time are important characteristics of any epidemic. For coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), wide variations in the CFR and doubling time have been noted among various countries. Early in the epidemic, CFR calculations involving all patients as denominator do not account for the hospitalised patients who are ill and will die in the future. Hence, we calculated cumulative CFR (cCFR) using only patients whose final clinical outcomes were known at a certain time point. We also estimated the daily average doubling time. Calculating CFR using this method leads to temporal stability in the fatality rates, the cCFR stabilises at different values for different countries. The possible reasons for this are an improved outcome rate by the end of the epidemic and a wider testing strategy. The United States, France, Turkey and China had high cCFR at the start due to low outcome rate. By 22 April, Germany, China and South Korea had a low cCFR. China and South Korea controlled the epidemic and achieved high doubling times. The doubling time in Russia did not cross 10 days during the study period.

After SARS-CoV-2 set foot in India, the Government took a number of steps to limit the spread of the disease in the country. This study involves assessing how the disease affected the population in the initial days of the epidemic. Data was collected from government-controlled and crowdsourced websites and analyzed. Studying age and sex parameters of 413 Indian COVID-19 patients, the median age of the affected individuals was found to be 36 years (IQR, 25-54) with 20-39 years males being the most affected group. The number of affected males (66.34%) was more than that of the females (33.66%). Using Susceptible-Infected-Removed (SIR) model, the range of contact rate (β) of India was calculated and the role of public health interventions was assessed. If current contact rate continues, India may have 5583 to 13785 active cases at the end of 21 days lockdown.Article Summary LineThe study gives the epidemiological characteristics of the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic in India, where unlike other countries, the 20-39 years males are most affected, and the SIR model predicts the probable number of cases of COVID-19 by the end of the 21 days lockdown in the country, which will help to develop appropriate public health interventions to control the COVID-19 epidemic.

The (La1-xPbx)MnO3where x = 0.3-0.5 solid solutions were prepared using solid state reaction route. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) data reveals the single phase formation. The microstructures shows that grain size as well compactness of grains increases with increasing Pb2+ content. However density of the samples also increases with incraesing x. The magnetic data shows the ferromagnetic behavoir of the solid solutions as x increases from 0.3 to 0.5.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death worldwide, just behind cardiovascular diseases. In fact, there was an estimated 18.1 million new cancer cases and 9.6 million cancer deaths in 2018 around the world. Due to the continuously increasing global prevalence of malignancies, novel efficient therapeutics and treatment strategies are highly needed. The most common types of cancer treatment modalities include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. At that, over 50% of all cancer patients receive chemotherapy in some stages of their disease. Although modern drugs are very efficient to kill tumor cells, they also affect normal healthy cells often causing intolerable side effects. In addition, drug resistance to chemotherapeutic agents is problematic. Several signaling pathways are found to be associated with cancer progression and survival. This book chapter presents an overview of various oncotherapies in cancer.

(1-x)BZT - (x)BCT, for x = 0.75 composite ceramic was synthesized by solid state reaction route. The structural, dielectric, electric modulus and conductivity properties of the resulting composite have been investigated. The preliminary structural study was carried out by XRD technique and data revealed the tetragonal structure of prepared sample. The dielectric constant (e′) and the dielectric loss (e″) have been found to decrease with increase in frequency of applied electric field and shows non-Debye relaxation behavior. The electric modulus data has taken and shows an increment with increase in temperature. The electrical conductivity has been found to increase with increase in frequency of applied electric field.

The Pb1-xBix(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 where x = 0.20 solid solutions have been successfully synthesized by solid state reaction route. The effect of ball milling (Ordinary as well as Planetary ball mill) on structural and Electrocaloric properties have been reported in this work. The structural analysis confirmed that the solid solutions were crystallized into tetragonal phase. The remnant polarization decreases whereas Electrocaloric effect was found to shift from higher temperature regime to lower with changing ball mill process from ordinary ball mill to planetary ball.

Polycrystalline Nd(Fe1-xTix)O3 solid solutions (where x = 0.0-0.30) have been synthesized using conventional solid state reaction route. The structural, microstructural and magnetic properties have been investigated. The XRD data reveals that there is no change in the structural phase with the substitution of Ti4+ up to x = 0.30 and sample exhibits the Orthorhombic phase (Pbnm no. 62). The SEM micrographs show the gradual decrease in the grain size with x whereas density increases with increasing x. The magnetization (Mr) decreases with increasing x.

Present work proposes the advancement in the field of modern refrigeration based upon electrocaloric effect. The values of electrocaloric effect near ambient temperature is demonstrated in (Na0.41K0.09Bi0.50)(Ti1-xMgx)O3 where x = 0, 0.025 and 0.050. The MgO modified NBT-KBT sold solution has exhibited abnormal electrocaloric effect with ΔT ~ -2.03 and electrocaloric strength ΔT/ΔE = 0.033 Kcm kV-1 at 60°C for highest doping. Moreover, a broad operating time range Tspan = 50-80 °C has achieved which allow this material to be useful for potential cooling application and provide new horizons in this field.

The current study was conducted to integrate the various findings of extant research into a single, comprehensive model of student satisfaction that incorporates both educational and non-educational services. Furthermore, this paper is aimed at understanding not just the direct effects, but the indirect effects of various constructs on student satisfaction and behavioral intentions towards the university. A survey was used to collect data, which was then analyzed utilizing Smart-PLS structural equation modelling software. The findings indicate that perceived educational service quality and value for money are the most influential for student satisfaction. Social and technology constructs were not directly related to student satisfaction, but both constructs were significantly correlated to the image construct (along with the education and campus climate constructs). Furthermore, assessment, program goals and education constructs were significantly related to the overall perceived service quality (education).

Background: After SARS-CoV-2 set foot in India, the Government took a number of steps to limit the spread of the virus in the country. This included restricted testing, isolation, contact tracing and quarantine, and enforcement of a nation-wide lockdown starting 25 March 2020. The objectives of this study were to i) describe the age, gender distribution, and mortality among COVID-19 patients identified till 14 April 2020 and predict the range of contact rate; and ii) predict the number of COVID-19 infections after 40 days of lockdown. Methods: We used a cross-sectional descriptive design for the first objective and a susceptible-infected-removed model for in silico predictions. We collected data from government-controlled and crowdsourced websites. Results: Studying age and gender parameters of 1161 Indian COVID-19 patients, the median age was 38 years (IQR, 27-52) with 20-39 year-old males being the most affected group. The number of affected patients were 854 (73.6%) men and 307 (26.4%) women. If the current contact rate continues (0.25-27), India may have 110460 to 220575 infected persons at the end of 40 days lockdown. Conclusion: The disease is majorly affecting a younger age group in India. Interventions have been helpful in preventing the worst-case scenario in India but will be unable to prevent the spike in the number of cases.
