Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) are promising anode materials for sodium ion battery, thanks to their high theoretical specific capacities. Nevertheless, they suffer from large volume change and from poor conductivity during prolonged cycling. Here we systematically investigate the role of different kinds of single/multi‐wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs/MWCNTs) as additives in order to stabilize copper phosphide particles (CuP2) as anode materials in sodium ion batteries (SIBs). All composites show enhancement in the overall capacity and cycling stability compared to the pristine CuP2 due to the well‐connected CNTs on and between the CuP2 particles. At a high currency density of 1 A g−1, CuP2@SWCNTs composite with 13 wt.% SWCNTs can deliver a specific capacity over 400 mAh g−1 for more than 60 cycles, much better than conventional hard carbon materials. The CNTs enhance the conductivity and reduce capacity loss caused by the volume variation of CuP2 based electrode materials. Post‐mortem analysis by scanning electron microscopy depicts a possible battery failure mechanism, whereby the solid electrolyte interface exists in the form of nanospheres distributing at the surface of the electrode. Phytochemical investigation on the 90% EtOH extract of the air-dried aerial parts of Hypericum ascyron resulted in the isolation of three new polycyclic polyprenylated derivatives ascyronines A-C (1-3). Structural elucidation of all the compounds was performed by spectral methods such as 1D and 2D (1H-1H COSY, HMQC, and HMBC) NMR spectroscopy. All the polycyclic polyprenylated acylphloroglucinols were evaluated for their antidepressant activity by inhibiting the reuptake of tritiated serotonin ([3H]-5-HT) and noradrenalinet ([3H]-NE) in rat brain synaptosomes. The chemical analysis on petroleum ether extract of Artemisia argyi resulted in the identification of 11 terpenoids, including an undescribed monocyclic monoterpenoid, artemisinicol A (1), along with ten known compounds (2–11). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis (including 1D, 2D NMR, and HR-MS) and ECD calculation. Background: Early intervention reduces the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Typical shingles are easy to diagnose; however, there is no clear diagnostic method for neuralgia symptoms manifested before the onset of the rash, which can easily cause misdiagnosis. This not only increases the patient's pain, medical expenses, and mental burden, but more importantly, delays the valuable time for early treatment of shingles, and increases the probability of complications and PHN. Objective: In this paper, the diagnostic methods of preherpetic neuralgia were summarized and analyzed, and the current challenges were put forward to provide directions for the early diagnosis of herpes zoster (HZ) in the future. Methods: PubMed, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) libraries were searched using the terms "herpes zoster," "before the blistering," "diagnosis," and "neuralgia." Clinical trials, reviews, and case reports were collected and reviewed. The period of literature search is from 1 January 1980 to 1 October 2022. Results: The early diagnosis of herpes zoster neuralgia can reduce misdiagnosis and mistreatment, and timely and effective intervention can significantly reduce the incidence of PHN. The body may possess a mechanism that limits the local breakthrough of the virus in the skin, causing blistering later than the onset of pain. Changes in the plasma proteins of patients with varicella-zoster virus shingles neuralgia may be used as an early diagnostic indicator in patients with HZ neuralgia before eruption. Conclusion: Early diagnosis of HZ neuralgia before eruption can facilitate timely targeted treatment, thereby reducing the incidence of PHN. Background: Upregulation of Stathmin 1 (STMN1), a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that controls the dynamics of cellular microtubules, is linked to malignant behavior and poor prognosis in a range of malignancies. However, little research has been done on STMN1's potential role in HCC as a single factor in DNA methylation, m6A, or immunological modulation. Results: STMN1 is overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma, where it is related to clinicopathological parameters and affects the prognosis of HCC patients. STMN1 overexpression plays an important role in the diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. Meanwhile, methylation of 7 CpG sites of STMN1 in HCC was correlated with prognosis, and STMN1 expression was closely related to m6A modification. In addition, STMN1 expression is associated with immune cell infiltration, immune molecules, and immune checkpoints in HCC. Conclusion: STMN1 has a significant role in hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis and prediction. STMN1 is implicated not just in the onset and course but also in the immunological modulation of the disease. DNA methylation and m6A are both linked to STMN1. Compared with traditional buckling-restrained brace (BRB), the steel-angle-assembled buckling-restrained brace (SAA-BRB) is an innovative BRB with light-weight, accurate control of the geometrical dimensions, easy installation, and convenient disassembly. The SAA-BRB comprises an external restraining system and a cruciform-sectional inner core. Four steel angles assemble the external restraining system with the connection of high-strength bolts, and the spacers are installed between the inner core and the restraining system. In this study, the hysteretic behavior of SAA-BRB was investigated by experiments and finite element (FE) simulations. Firstly, three SAA-BRB specimens with different restraining ratios were tested under cyclic loads to investigate the hysteretic performance. It was found that all specimens exhibited stable responses and satisfactory energy-dissipating capabilities during the whole loading process. Then, a refined FE model was established, and the experiments verified its validity in predicting the hysteretic responses of SAA-BRB. Moreover, based on the yielding criteria of the outmost fiber for the restraining member section, a design formula for the restraining ratio requirements to avoid global buckling of the SAA-BRB was deduced. Finally, extensive parametric analysis was conducted to verify the accuracy of the design formula by changing the geometric dimensions (the restraining ratio) of models. It was found that the proposed formula for the restraining ratio requirement could lead to a conservative prediction with reasonable accuracy, thus providing valuable references for the global buckling design of SAA-BRBs in engineering practice. Total-ionizing-dose (TID) responses are investigated for 3-D-sequentially integrated fully depleted silicon-on-insulator (FD-SOI) MOSFETs. Strong layer-to-layer coupling of TID response is observed. The simultaneous application of positive bias to the gate of the bottom-layer device and negative bias to the top-layer device leads to the maximum enhancement of positive charge trapping in the top-layer device and the intermediate dielectric layer. This enhancement is due to the upward-directed electric field in the intermediate dielectric layer under these bias conditions. In contrast, electrostatic shielding prevents the gate bias of the top-layer device from affecting the response of the bottom-layer device, as confirmed by experiments and technology computer-aided design (TCAD) simulations. An overview is presented of displacement damage (DD) effects, total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects, and single-event effects in AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). High-fluence proton-induced DD creates point defects and impurity complexes at fluences that are comparable to or higher than those encountered in space applications. Defect and impurity dehydrogenation also contributes significantly to the DD/TID response at fluences typical of realistic space environments. The bias applied during irradiation can affect the DD/TID response strongly. Bias stress before irradiation can lead to enhanced proton-induced degradation of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs. Low-frequency noise measurements and density functional calculations provide insight into defect microstructures and energy levels. GaN-based HEMTs can be quite vulnerable to single-event effects in space. Of particular concern is single-event burnout (SEB). The vulnerabilities of GaN-based devices to SEB at voltages below rated limits and significant device-to-device variations in SEB response lead to significant voltage derating for GaN-based power devices in space systems. Developing an improved understanding of the effects of defects and hydrogen on the radiation response of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs can improve the DD/TID response by reducing threshold-voltage shifts and transconductance degradation. Negative-bias-stress and total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects in deeply scaled Ge-gate-all-around (GAA) nanowire (NW) devices are characterized for different biasing conditions. Negative-bias-stress-induced degradation in Ge GAA device originates primarily from the interface- and border-trap generation. Devices stressed at high gate voltage show rapid initial degradation and quick saturation dominated by interface-trap generation. Radiation-induced OFF-state leakage current in Ge GAA NWs increases with dose due to enhanced band-to-band tunneling (BTBT) caused by charge trapping in the shallow trench isolation (STI). Accurately identification of the seizure onset zone (SOZ) is pivotal for successful surgery in patients with medically refractory epilepsy. The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of model predicting the epilepsy surgery outcomes using genetic neural network (GNN) model based on a hybrid intracranial electroencephalography (iEEG) marker. We extracted 21 SOZ related markers based on iEEG data from 79 epilepsy patients. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression was employed to integrated seven markers, selected after testing in pairs with all 21 biomarkers and 7 machine learning models, into a hybrid marker. Based on the hybrid marker, we devised a GNN model and compared its predictive performance for surgical outcomes with six other mainstream machine-learning models. Compared to the mainstream models, underpinning the GNN with the hybrid iEEG marker resulted in a better prediction of surgical outcomes, showing a significant increase of the prediction accuracy from approximately 87% to 94.3% (P = 0.0412). This study suggests that the hybrid iEEG marker can improve the performance of model predicting the epilepsy surgical outcomes, and validates the effectiveness of the GNN in characterizing and analyzing complex relationships between clinical data variables. Technological progress has led to significant advancements in Earth observation and satellite systems. However, some services associated with remote sensing face issues related to timeliness and relevance, which affect the application of remote sensing resources in various fields and disciplines. The challenge now is to help end-users make precise decisions and recommendations for relevant resources that meet the demands of their specific domains from the vast array of remote sensing resources available. In this study, we propose a remote sensing resource service recommendation model that incorporates a time-aware dual LSTM neural network with similarity graph learning. We further use the stream push technology to enhance the model. We first construct interaction history behavior sequences based on users' resource search history. Then, we establish a category similarity relationship graph structure based on the cosine similarity matrix between remote sensing resource categories. Next, we use LSTM to represent historical sequences and Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN) to represent graph structures. We construct similarity relationship sequences by combining historical sequences to explore exact similarity relationships using LSTM. We embed user IDs to model users' unique characteristics. By implementing three modeling approaches, we can achieve precise recommendations for remote sensing services. Finally, we conduct experiments to evaluate our methods using three datasets, and the experimental results show that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art algorithms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

k-means clustering is widely used in many fields such as data mining, machine learning, and information retrieval. In many cases, users need to cooperate to perform k-means clustering tasks. How to perform clustering without revealing privacy has become a hot research topic. However, the existing k-means scheme based on secure multi-party computation cannot effectively protect the privacy of the output results. The multi-party k-means scheme based on differential privacy may lead to loss of data availability. In this article, we propose a practical protocol for k-means clustering in a collaborative manner, while protecting the privacy of each data record. Our protocol is the first to combine secure multi-party computing and differential privacy technology to train a privacy-preserving k-means clustering model. We design a novel algorithm, which is suitable for multi-party collaboration to update cluster centers without leaking data privacy. The algorithm guarantees that noise is added only once in each iteration, regardless of the number of participants. The protocol achieve the "best of both worlds", which can simultaneously achieves both the input privacy and the output privacy in the k-means clustering scheme. Effects of ~35 years of aging during storage are investigated on the radiation response and 1/ $f$ noise of Oki nMOS and pMOS transistors with high oxygen vacancy densities in SiO2. Short-term interface-trap buildup during irradiation is enhanced significantly, relative to that observed in 1989, 1997, and 2008. In contrast, a similar latent interface-trap buildup is observed for aged pMOS devices irradiated and annealed at room and elevated temperatures at positive bias in this and earlier studies. The significant latent interface-trap buildup is observed for nMOS devices irradiated at 0 V and annealed at room and elevated temperatures under positive bias, a condition not evaluated in prior work. Results strongly suggest that latent interface-trap buildup is due to H2 diffusion and dissociation at charged or dipolar O vacancies in SiO2, followed by proton transport to the Si/SiO2 interface and reactions with Si–H complexes. Models that attribute latent interface-trap buildup to long-term proton trapping at O vacancies in SiO2 appear to be ruled out by these results. Based on the assumptions that the tower and counter jib of the tower cranes are rigid bodies in the case of trolley motion, the jib of the tower cranes is taken as a cantilever beam. The tower crane is simplified as a payload–trolley–jib system. Furthermore, the lattice jib is equal to a solid beam and the trolley is reduced to a moving mass. The dynamic equations for the system are derived on the basis of Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and Lagrange's equations. Finally, the influence of dynamic parameters such as the velocity and acceleration of the trolley motion, payload mass, cable length on jib vibration, and payload swing is studied by simulations and experiments. Objectives: To explore the predictive value of preoperative imaging in patients with spinal giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB) for postoperative recurrence and risk stratification. Methods: Clinical data for 62 cases of spinal GCTB diagnosed and treated at our hospital from 2008 to 2018 were identified. All patients were followed up for more than 2 years according to the clinical guidelines after surgery. Medical history data including baseline demographic and clinical characteristics, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of recurrent and non‐recurrent patients were compared. Two musculoskeletal radiologists read the images and were blinded to the clinical data. The imaging features associated with postoperative recurrence were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to determine the optimal cutoff value of the largest lesion diameter predicting recurrence after surgery. Results: According to whether the disease recurred within the follow‐up period, patients were divided into the recurrence group and the non‐recurrence group. Of 62 patients (29 males and 33 females), 17 had recurrence and 45 did not. The recurrence rate was 27.4%. The mean follow‐up time was 73.66 (± 32.92) months. The three major treatments were total en bloc spondylectomy (n = 26), intralesional spondylectomy (n = 20), and curettage(n = 16). A total of 16 CT and MRI features were analyzed. A univariate analysis showed no significant difference in age, sex, treatment, multi‐vertebral body involvement, location, boundary, expansile mass, residual bone crest, paravertebral soft tissue mass, CT value, and MRI signal on T1‐weighted imaging (WI), T2‐WI, and T2‐WI fat suppression (FS) sequences (P > 0.05). The largest lesion diameter [(4.68 ± 1.79) vs (5.92 ± 2.17) cm, t = 2.287, P = 0.026] and the vertebral compression fracture (51% vs 82%, χ2 = 5.005, P = 0.025) were significantly different between the non‐recurrence and recurrence groups. Logistic regression analysis showed that both largest lesion diameter (odds ratio [OR], 1.584; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.108–2.264; P = 0.012) and compression fracture (OR, 8.073; 95%CI, 1.481–11.003; P = 0.016) were independent predictors of postoperative recurrence. When we set the cutoff value for the largest lesion diameter at 4.2 cm, the sensitivity and specificity for distinguishing the recurrence and non‐recurrence of GCTB were 94.1% and 42.2%, respectively, and the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.671. The combined model achieved a sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 47.1%, 97.8% and 83.9%, respectively. Conclusions: In spinal GCTB, maximum lesion diameter and the vertebral compression fracture are associated with tumor recurrence after surgery, which may provide helpful information for planning personalized treatment. Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with different topologies respond differently to total ionizing dose (TID). A flexible behavioral modeling approach is proposed for system-level simulation of TID effects in successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADCs. The radiation-enabled approach can be adapted for a wide range of ADCs of various resolutions, clock speeds, and manufacturers. The empirical model is calibrated and validated, pre-rad and post-rad, for a particular ADC. Pre-rad calibration is performed by introducing distributions of static parameters corresponding to datasheet specifications. The post-rad calibration is accomplished by introducing error sources associated with the comparator and digital-to-analog converter (DAC), corresponding to experimental data. Cirsimarin is a bioactive antilipogenic flavonoid isolated from the cotyledons of Abrus precatorius and represents one of the most abundant flavonoids present in this plant species. Cirsimarin exhibits excellent antioxidant, lipolysis, and other biological properties; it can effectively trigger lipid movement and demonstrates antiobesity effects. In this work, an ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of cirsimarin in rat plasma after intravenous administration. A standard curve of cirsimarin in blank rat plasma was generated over the concentration range of 1–3000 ng/mL. Six rats were administered cirsimarin intravenously (1 mg/kg). The method only required 50 μL of plasma for sample preparation, and the plasma proteins were precipitated with acetonitrile to pretreat the plasma sample. The precisions of cirsimarin in rat plasma were less than 14%, while the accuracies varied between 92.5% and 107.3%. In addition, the matrix effect varied between 103.6% and 107.4%, while the recoveries were greater than 84.2%. This UPLC-MS/MS method was then applied in measuring the pharmacokinetics of cirsimarin in rats. The AUC(0-t) values of cirsimarin from the pharmacokinetic analysis were 1068.2 ± 359.2 ng/mL·h for intravenous administration. The half-life ( t 1 / 2 ) was 1.1 ± 0.4 h (intravenous), indicating that the metabolism of the compound was quick in the rats. Gate-all-around (GAA) silicon nanowire (NW) CMOS transistors demonstrate outstanding total-ionizing-dose (TID) tolerance due to the ultrascaled gate dielectric thickness, enhanced electrostatic gate control, and suppression of parasitic leakage current paths. nFETs and pFETs show similar TID responses, making the GAA NW technology an excellent candidate for CMOS IC applications in high-radiation environments. The slight degradation of the threshold voltage suggests limited charge buildup in the gate dielectrics. However, low-frequency noise and random telegraph noise measurements show the importance of change in trap configurations in both the near-interfacial SiO2 and HfO2 dielectric layers to the radiation response and reliability of GAA NW devices. Total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects and low-frequency noise are evaluated in advanced bulk nMOS and pMOS FinFETs with SiO2/HfO2 gate dielectrics. Otherwise identical devices built with and without through-silicon via (TSV) integration exhibit threshold voltage shifts of less than 25 mV and changes in maximum transconductance of less than 1% up to 2 Mrad(SiO2). TSV integration negligibly impacts threshold shifts and degradation of subthreshold swing and $I_{\mathrm{\scriptscriptstyle ON}}/I_{\mathrm{\scriptscriptstyle OFF}}$ ratios. Similar low-frequency noise magnitudes and frequency dependencies are observed before and after TID irradiation for each device type. Effective densities of the near-interfacial electron traps responsible for the noise in the nMOS devices increase as the surface potential moves toward midgap, while effective densities of the hole traps that cause the noise in the pMOS devices increase as the surface potential moves toward the valence band edge. Total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects are compared in 1) conventional high-temperature processed planar fully-depleted silicon-on-insulator (FD-SOI) p-channel MOSFETs, 2) 3-D sequentially integrated (3DSI) FD-SOI MOSFETs in the bottom layer with additional thermal budget and process flows due to the creation of the top layer, and 3) 3DSI low-temperature-processed FD-SOI MOSFETs in the top layer. When irradiated under worst case negative bias, 3DSI bottom-isolated transistors show significantly enhanced charge trapping and transconductance degradation than planar devices. The enhanced degradation for bottom-isolated devices is attributed primarily to increased interface- and border-trap formation at the buried oxide (BOX)/Si interface and/or lateral charge nonuniformities in the BOX. The radiation-induced transconductance degradation in top-isolated devices is attributed to the increased resistance of the portion of the channel that underlies the source/drain spacers. Total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects are investigated for 22-nm fully-depleted silicon-on-insulator (FDSOI) and 14-nm bulk FinFET charge-trap memory transistors. Electron trapping in the gate dielectric establishes the programmed memory state for both silicon on insulator (SOI) and bulk devices. To first order, ionizing radiation does not interact strongly with programing-induced charges in the gate dielectric for either device type. Hole trapping in the buried oxide dominates the TID response of the 22-nm FDSOI devices. The 14-nm bulk devices with two fins and total effective fin widths of 150 nm are minimally affected by TID, but the subthreshold leakage of devices with 40 fins and total effective fin widths of $3~\mu \text{m}$ increases with increasing TID. When devices are programmed or reprogrammed after irradiation, significant increases in subthreshold slope are observed due to the generation of interface traps, border traps, and/or charge lateral nonuniformities. Understanding the interaction of phosphoric acid and porous electrocatalysts is of vital importance for a rational design of high performance phosphoric acid based fuel cells on a molecular level. We demonstrate for the first time that NMR spectroscopy can be used for elucidating the preferred distribution sites of phosphoric acid in various nanoporous carbons. A pore size dependent negative chemical shift of 31P is observed, serving as a distinct signature of pore occupation, and applied for analysing a commercial catalyst (Pt@Vulcan) as a practical application. Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) has proven to be a major problem for the porcine industry worldwide. Conventional injectable vaccines induce effective systemic immune responses but are less effective in preventing PEDV at mucosal invasion sites, including the nasal or oral mucosa. Additionally, antigens delivered orally are easily degraded. Nasal immunization induces intestinal mucosal immune responses, which can aid in blocking viral invasion, and requires fewer antigen inoculation doses. Therefore, nasal immunizations are considered to be a potential approach to overcome viral infections. In the present study, nasal immunization of piglets was performed using inactivated PEDV combined with Bacillus subtilis as an immunopotentiator and the efficacy of nasal immunization was assessed. The results demonstrated that compared with oral immunization, piglets from the nasal immunization group exhibited higher levels of neutralizing antibodies (P<0.01) in the intestine, PEDV-specific immunoglobulin (Ig)G (P<0.01) in serum and PEDV-specific secretory IgA (SIgA) in saliva (P<0.01) and nasal secretions (P<0.01). An increased number of intestinal CD3+ T cells, IgA-secreting cells and intraepithelial lymphocytes (P<0.05) were also observed. Furthermore, the protein expression levels of interleukin-6 and interferon-γ, relative to the control PEDV infection, were also significantly elevated (P<0.05). The results of the present study indicate that nasal immunization is more effective at inducing the intestinal mucosal immune response, and provide new insights into a novel vaccination strategy that may be used to decrease the incidence of PEDV infections. Capacitive analogues of semiconductor diodes (CAPodes) present a new avenue for energy‐efficient and nature‐inspired next‐generation computing devices. Here, we disclose the generalized concept for bias‐direction‐adjustable n‐ and p‐CAPodes based on selective ion sieving. Controllable‐unidirectional ion flux is realized by blocking electrolyte ions from entering sub‐nanometer pores. The resulting CAPodes exhibit charge‐storage characteristics with a high rectification ratio (96.29 %). The enhancement of capacitance is attributed to the high surface area and porosity of an omnisorbing carbon as counter electrode. Capacitive analogues of semiconductor diodes (CAPodes) present a new avenue for energy‐efficient and nature‐inspired next‐generation computing devices. Here, we disclose the generalized concept for bias‐direction‐adjustable n‐ and p‐CAPodes based on selective ion sieving. Controllable‐unidirectional ion flux is realized by blocking electrolyte ions from entering sub‐nanometer pores. The resulting CAPodes exhibit charge‐storage characteristics with a high rectification ratio (96.29 %). The enhancement of capacitance is attributed to the high surface area and porosity of an omnisorbing carbon as counter electrode. The total-ionizing-dose (TID) response of indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) MOSFETs with Al2O3 gate dielectrics and several channel lengths is evaluated under different biases. DC static characteristics show large negative threshold voltage Vth shifts and subthreshold stretchout (SS), indicating net positive charge trapping in the gate oxide and generation of the interface and border traps. Hysteresis and Id – Vgs measurements from cryogenic to high temperatures show the important role of defects in the Al2O3 gate dielectric to the TID response. Radiation-induced-hole trapping is attributed to oxygen vacancies in the Al2O3. The relatively large hysteresis in these devices is attributed primarily to dangling Al bonds in the near-interfacial Al2O3. Analysis of the temperature dependence of Vth and SS suggests that the rate at which electrons leave the Al2O3 during a positive-to-negative gate-bias sweep is higher than the rate at which they enter during a negative-to-positive gate-bias sweep. Eight 6FDA-TFDB polyimide (PI) samples with absolute molecular weights ranging from 1.25 × 105 g·mol−1 to 3.11 × 105 g·mol−1 are obtained by precipitation fractionation. Rheological experiments are conducted to determine the influence of molecular weight on the associating behavior of PI in N,N′-dimethylformamide (DMF) solutions in a broad volume fraction, including abnormal steady shear flow, solution heterogeneity, and scaling behavior. Abnormal flow behaviors, i.e., multi-region shear thinning and weak shear thickening, are studied, and these behaviors have not been reported in literature. The heterogeneity of PI/DMF solutions is examined by dynamic rheological test. By plotting ηsp versus ϕ/ϕη, four concentration regions of I–IV can be distinguished for all PI samples with various molecular weights. The scaling results in different concentration regions are in good agreement with the associative polymer theory proposed by Rubinstein and Semenov. The scaling exponents do not show molecular weight dependence in concentration regions I and II. In concentration regions III and IV, the scaling exponents change little when the molecular weight is below 242 k but increase when the molecular weight increases from 242 k to 311 k. This work can help us to understand polyimide solution properties from dilute to semidilute entangled solutions, and will guide the polyimide solution preparation for different processing. Visual perception can be influenced by stimulus context, selective attention, and prior experience. Many previous studies have shown complex interactions among these influencing factors, but it remains unclear whether context-induced illusions could be reduced by perceptual training and whether such a change in perceptual fidelity is linked to improved perceptual discriminability. To address this question, we introduced a context-induced tilt illusion into an orientation discrimination training paradigm. This resulted in parallel and long-term improvements in the discriminability and fidelity of orientation perception. The improved discriminability was specific to the task-relevant target stimulus but nonspecific to the task-irrelevant context. By contrast, the improved perceptual fidelity was specific to the task-irrelevant contextual stimulus that induced the illusion, but not specific to the task-relevant target stimulus or task performed on one of its features. These results indicate two dissociable learning effects associated with the same training procedure. Such a dissociation was further supported by the observation that the sizes of the two learning effects were uncorrelated across the subjects. Our findings suggest two parallel learning processes: a task-dependent process giving rise to enhanced discriminability for the task-relevant stimulus attribute, and a context-dependent process leading to improved perceptual fidelity for the attended stimuli. Heteroatom functionalization of ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) represents an important strategy towards electrocatalytic and battery applications. Such functionalization frequently leads to degradation or even collapse of mesopores, which is generally attributed to the harsh conditions used or the successfully doped functional groups or the entrapment of guest species into mesopores. However, in this report, we find the structural deterioration of functionalized OMC is mainly induced by the water evaporation during the drying process, beyond the usually accepted concept mentioned above. We report two types of well-defined OMCs, resembling comparable pore architectures but varying in surface chemistry, namely the hydrophobic OMC (C meso) and hydrophilic one (HC meso). After washing and drying processes, C meso remains intact regardless of the drying processes. In sharp contrast, HC meso shows gradual porosity deterioration or even totally collapse under continuous washing-drying cycles. Lyophilization can however well preserve the porosity due to the reduced stress exerted by water on carbon walls. Such a distinct phenomenon is elaborately characterized by N 2 physisorption, H 2 O physisorption, TEM and SAXS and further validated by well-known CMK-3, which undergoes surface functionalization by concentrated HNO 3. Two novel 3D metal-organic frameworks [Cd 3 (bpbc)(μ 3 -OH)(H 2 O) 3 ]·H 2 O (1) and [Zn 2 Na (bpbc)(DMF) 1.5 (EtOH) 0.5 (H 2 O) 5 ]·0.5H 2 O (2) have been synthesized by using biphenyl-2, 4, 6, 3′, 5′-pentacarboxylic acid (H 5 bpbc) as the ligand under solvothermal/hydrothermal conditions. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), IR spectra and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Structural analysis revealed that complex 1 shows a (5, 10)-connected 3D network based on the [Cd 6 (COO) 10 (μ 3 -OH) 2 ] SBUs with unusual topology, while complex 2 exhibits a (3, 3, 6)-connected 3D framework. The structural difference between 1 and 2 indicated that the coordination fashion of bpbc5− and the kind of metal ions could play critical role in the construction of MOFs. In addition, new fluorescence emissions were observed for 1 and 2 , and the solid state luminescent properties were investigated. A novel ligustrazine diselenide, 1,2-bis ((3,5,6-trimethylpyrazin-2-yl) methyl) diselenide (Se2), for potential treatment on adenocarcinoma of lung cancer was successfully synthesized and fully characterized by various analytical approaches. Cytotoxic, antiproliferative and apoptosis-triggering mechanism of Se2 compound have been investigated through human lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) cell line A549. The study found that Se2 significantly inhibit the proliferation of A549 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Flow cytometry showed that Se2 induced cell arrest and apoptosis in S and G2/M phase, and the apoptotic effect of Se2 were associated with the increase of caspase 3 and PARP-1 level approved by western blot assay. Further mechanism study results suggested that Se2 suppressed the migration,invasion and colony formation of A549 cells, significantly inhibited the PI3K/Akt/m-TOR signaling pathway. The study indicated that Se2 is a bioactive substance that can induce apoptosis of A549 cells in-vitro, and it is a potent candidate drug for LUAD. Oprozomib, as a second-generation orally bioavailable protease inhibitor (PI), is undergoing clinical evaluation for the treatment of haematological malignancies. In relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) patients, oprozomib has shown good efficacy as a single agent or combination therapy. In this experiment, our purpose was to validate a sensitive and rapid method for the determination of oprozomib concentration in rat plasma by ultraperformance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The samples were treated with acetonitrile as the precipitant and separated by gradient elution using a Waters Acquity UPLC BEH C18 column (2.1 mm × 50 mm, 1.7 μm). Using the selective reaction monitoring (SRM) method, the measurement was finished with the ion transitions of m/z 533.18 ⟶ 199.01 for oprozomib and m/z 493.03 ⟶ 112.03 for tepotinib (internal standard, IS), respectively. Meanwhile, acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid aqueous solution were used as the mobile phase, and the flow rate was 0.3 mL/min. The lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) of the method was 1.0 ng/mL, and the linear relationship was good in the range of 1.0–100 ng/mL. In addition, the precision of four concentration levels was determined with the values of 3.1–7.3% and the accuracy was from −14.9% to 12.9%. Moreover, the recovery was determined to be from 85.1% to 96.1%, and the values of matrix effect were no more than 110.4%. Significant threshold voltage $V_{\mathrm {th}}$ shifts are observed during 10-keV X-ray irradiation of AlGaN/GaN high-electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). Shifts are much smaller for lower dose-rate Cs-137 irradiation than that for higher dose-rate X-ray irradiation. This occurs because hydrogen transport and interactions with defects and impurities in these crystalline wide bandgap semiconductor materials differ fundamentally from those in amorphous SiO2. The electric field is also higher in GaN-based HEMTs than in bipolar base oxides. The absence of enhanced low-dose-rate sensitivity in these devices simplifies testing of GaN-based HEMTs for space applications. Total-ionizing-dose effects on electrothermal micro- scanners are investigated using 10-keV X-rays and 14.3-MeV oxygen ions. The corresponding changes in mechanical displacement are measured using an optical microscope. Applied dc voltage and/or radiation-induced charging lead to changes in the vertical position and resistance of the structures. Radiation-induced changes in the vertical position and resistance and postirradiation recovery or superrecovery of these quantities are sensitive to dc biases applied during and/or after irradiation. Buckling-restrained braces (BRBs) have been proven to be excellent seismic-resistant members in the past few decades. In this study, an innovative type of BRB, namely triple-truss-latticed buckling-restrained brace (TTL-BRB), is proposed to accommodate the high hysteretic performance requirements. The TTL-BRB comprises three separated steel tubes as cores and a triple-truss-latticed member as the restraining system. Cyclic experiments were conducted on two TTL-BRB specimens to investigate their hysteretic performance, such as hysteretic curves, skeleton curves, equivalent viscous damping ratio, and strain distribution. The test results revealed that both specimens exhibit plump hysteretic curves and stable load-carrying responses under cyclic loads, indicating that the composition of TTL-BRB enables it to achieve an excellent energy-dissipation capacity. Furthermore, a FE model considering geometric and material nonlinearities was developed, which accurately predicted the hysteretic performance of specimens in experiments. Moreover, a parametric study was performed to investigate the effect of restraining ratios on the failure modes of TTL-BRBs. A series of 2-alkylaminomethyl jaspine B analogues were synthesized and evaluated for their cytotoxic effects on human lung adenocarcinoma, breast cancer, and prostate cancer cell lines and a mouse melanoma cell line. Most of the compounds exhibited moderate to good activity against the cancer cell lines. Compound 7f showed the best overall cytotoxicity on PC-3 cells (IC 50  = 0.85 μM). Further mechanistic studies revealed that compound 7f induced marked changes in PC-3 cell morphology, disrupted the mitochondrial membrane potential, and increased expression of the autophagy proteins beclin-1, LC3, and P62. The emergence of antibiotic drug (like carbapenem) resistance is being a global crisis. Among those resistance factors of the β-lactam antibiotics, the metallo-β-lactamases (MBLs) is one of the most important reasons. In this paper, a series of cyclic dithiocarbamate compounds were synthesized and their inhibition activities against MBLs were initially tested combined with meropenem (MEM) by in vitro antibacterial efficacy tests. Sodium 1,4,7-triazonane-1,4,7-tris(carboxylodithioate) (compound 5 ) was identified as the most active molecule to restore the activity of MEM. Further anti-bacterial effectiveness assessment, compound 5 restored the activity of MEM against Escherichia coli , Citrobacter freundii , Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella pneumonia , which carried resistance genes of bla NDM-1 . The compound 5 was non-hemolytic, even at a concentration of 1000 µg/mL. This compound was low toxic toward mammalian cells, which was confirmed by fluorescence microscopy image and the inhibition rate of HeLa cells. The Ki value of compounds 5 against NDM-1 MBL was 5.63 ± 1.27 μM. Zinc ion sensitivity experiments showed that the inhibitory effect of compound 5 as a MBLs inhibitor was influenced by zinc ion. The results of the bactericidal kinetics displayed that compound 5 as an adjuvant assisted MEM to kill all bacteria. Nb2O5-based metal–insulator–metal (MIM) diodes are ideal for neuromorphic computing applications because they exhibit desirable rectification, hysteresis, and capacitance characteristics without electroforming. We employ capacitance-frequency measurements to evaluate the total-ionizing-dose res- ponse of these devices to avoid measurement-induced disturbance of trap distributions caused by typical gate-voltage sweeping methods. Power-law dependences are observed for the low-frequency capacitance and conductance, consistent with hopping conduction of carriers through the oxides. In complex geological regions, owing to complex structures and various small-scale local geological bodies, the conventional initial migration layer velocity modeling method is prone to abnormal oscillation and loss of key details of velocity, thereby making the solution of velocity update fall within the local optimum. In addition, this method makes velocity modeling cannot iteratively update quickly and effectively. Hence, in this study, we propose an improved constrained velocity inversion (CVI) method for complex geological regions, which is based on the traditional CVI method, by forming an adaptive velocity trend function. A three-dimensional composite correlation function was introduced into the inversion equation system, through which the nonconstant influence radii and weights that adaptively change with the geological structure characteristics were automatically obtained, and these nonconstant influence radii and weights were also introduced into the inversion equation system. Meanwhile, we processed the key parameters of the adaptive velocity trend function (i.e., the velocity of the geological datum and the gradient of the velocity trend function to depth) by piecewise spline fitting, which further globally constrained the velocity model horizontally to significantly avoid lateral high-frequency anomalies in the velocity model. With theoretical and field datasets, the proposed method resulted in constrained interval instantaneous velocity models, which were well-matched and conformed to the geological structure and features, and further facilitated the imaging quality of pre-stack depth migration in complex geological regions. Total-ionizing-dose (TID) effects on piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducers (pMUTs) are investigated using 10-keV X-rays under different bias conditions. The corresponding changes in resonant frequency and quality factor are evaluated using impedance analysis methods. Radiation-generated electrons or holes are trapped in the pre-existing defects of piezoelectric materials. Therefore, the sensitivity of pMUTs to X-ray irradiation depends strongly on the device bias during irradiation. We have characterized the total ionizing dose response of strained Ge p MOS FinFETs built on bulk Si using a fin replacement process. Devices irradiated to 1.0 Mrad(SiO2) show minimal transconductance degradation (less than 5%), very small \text {V}_{th} shifts (less than 40 mV in magnitude) and very little ON/OFF current ratio degradation (<5%), and only modest variation in radiation response with transistor geometry (typically less than normal part-to-part variation). Both before and after irradiation, the performance of these strained Ge p$ MOS FinFETs is far superior to that of past generations of planar Ge $p$ MOS devices. Responses to 1.8 MeV proton irradiation and 10-keV X-ray irradiation under typical bias conditions are investigated for AlGaN/GaN HEMTs fabricated with different types of process technologies. We find that, in contrast to previous generations of process technologies, total ionizing dose effects can be significant in these devices. For proton irradiation, worst-case bias for transconductance degradation for GaN-on-SiC substrate devices is ON bias, and for devices built on free-standing GaN substrates, the worst-case bias condition is semi-ON bias. Low-frequency noise measurements demonstrate that these differences result from differences in defect types and energy distributions for the different types of devices, both before and after irradiation. The effects of total-ionizing-dose irradiation are investigated in HfO2/InGaAs quantum-well MOSFETs. Radiation-induced hole trapping is higher for irradiation under positive gate bias than under negative gate bias. Electrical stress-induced electron trapping compensates radiation-induced hole trapping during positive gate-bias irradiation. Stress-induced hole trapping adds to the effects of radiation-induced hole trapping under negative gate bias. Radiation-induced charge trapping increases with the channel length. A new azasugar (3S,4S)-3-((R)-1,2-dihydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine-3,4-diol ( 1 ) was obtained from commercially available d -glucose using one-pot reductive cyclization as a key step. The target product, i.e., the iminosugar isomer, was obtained in 10 steps and 24.3% overall yield. Only three column chromatography purifications were needed in this synthesis. Aims Cholinergic antiinflammatory (CAI) pathway functions importantly in inflammation via α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (α7nAChR). The present work tested circadian rhythm in peripheral CAI activity and validities of CAI activity and glucocorticoids in chronotherapy for lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced shock. Methods Vesicular acetylcholine transporter (VAChT) expressed in liver and kidney was examined every 3 h in C57BL/6 mice. Proinflammatory cytokines in serum and survival time in shock were monitored after LPS injection every 3 h. Mifepristone, antagonist of glucocorticoid receptors, and methyllycaconitine (MLA), antagonist of α7nAChR, were administrated before LPS to block antiinflammatory function of endogenous glucocorticoids and acetylcholine. Results Both levels of tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin 1β, and interleukin 6 and mortality exhibited diurnal variations with prominent peaks when LPS was given at 15:00, and the minimum mortality occurred at 00:00. Expression of VAChT increased during resting period. MLA increased serum proinflammatory cytokines slightly, but not affected survival rate. Both differences in cytokines and in survival times between LPS injection at 15:00 and 00:00 were eliminated by mifepristone, but not by MLA. Conclusion Peripheral CAI pathway exerts more powerful antiinflammatory effect during resting period. Glucocorticoids appear to be efficient in chronotherapy for septic shock. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
