The article discusses research conducted by labor economist C. Kirabo Jackson regarding student performance in single-sex schools in Trinidad and Tobago and examines the implications of the study's findings on single-sex education in the U.S. Particular focus is given to data regarding the effect of such instructional approaches on both boys and girls. Comments from education advocate Dr. Leonard Sax and education researcher Lise Eliot are also highlighted.
