The study was carried out to evaluate the combining ability and heterosis of seven parents and their 21 half-diallel F2 populations for yield and quality traits during the 2013-14 season in the randomized complete block design with three replications. Significant differences were observed among the genotypes, GCA (general combining ability) and SCA (specific combining ability) effects for all traits, except spike length. The best combiner parents were identified as Esperia and Pehlivan for grain yield, and Flamura85, Aldane and Selimiye for quality traits because of significant GCA and per se performance. The ranges of best parent heterosis were -12.71 to 8.23% for plant height, -15.46 to 8.36% for spike length, -16.62 to 24.80% for number of grains per spike, -23.61 to 36.50% for grain weight per spike, -17.13 to 8.84% for harvest index and -44.26 to 15.83 for grain yield, -17.61 to 8.38% for thousand grain weight, -18.55 to 8.44% for wet gluten content, -33.80 to 24.78% for gluten index, -20.24 to 15.23% for Zeleny sedimentation value, -15.58 to 10.00% for quality index and -8.96 to 6.87 for grain protein content. The three (Slm/Phl, F85/Slm and F85/Esp) and seven (F85/Phl, Sb/Fs, Fs/Slm, Esp/Slm, Fs/Phl, Esp/Sb and Sb/Slm) of F2 populations are offered a good opportunity in base material for selection of potential because of significant SCA effects and best parent heterosis for grain yield and quality traits respectively.

The study was carried out in the experimental field of the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University in 2020-2021. In the study, totally 25 durum wheat genotypes (6 cultivars, 12 advanced lines, and 7 landraces) were used as experimental material. The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. In the study, the grain quality and morpho-physiological traits such as canopy temperature, chlorophyll content, leaf area index, and plant height were investigated in some durum wheat genotypes. The canopy temperature ranged from 23.33-20.43 OC, chlorophyll content 52.53-43.17 SPAD, leaf area index 3.63-1.77, thousand-grain weight 34.67-41.83 g, protein content 14.23-16.33%, test weight 78.93-87.03 kg hl-1, semolina colour 14.88-15.63 and plant height 99.00-75.33 cm in investigated durum wheat genotypes. Hacımestan and Sorgül genotypes for canopy temperature, Atkı 2, NZFM 1 and NZFM 7 genotypes for chlorophyll content, Atkı 2, NZFM 4 and NZFM 1 genotypes for leaf area index, Kıbrıs 2 and Ionia 3 genotypes for plant height, NZFM 1, NZFM 7 and Devedişi 2 genotypes for thousand-grain weight, Atkı 2 and Hacımestan 2 genotypes for protein content, Japiga and Boğacak 2 genotypes for test weight and Japiga, Boğacak, Kızıltan 91 and NZFM 7 genotypes for semolina colour were determined as promising genotypes.

The study was carried out under different drought/osmotic stresses (0.00 MPa-control, 0.25 MPa, 0.50 MPa, 0.75 MPaand 1.00 MPa applications) created by using PEG 6000 with 43 genotypes under laboratory, with 5 replications accordingto a split-plot experiment design. The genotypes constituted the main plots, and the drought/osmotic stress applicationsconstituted the sub-plots.In the study, seedling weight, root number, root length, root weight, shoot length, and shoot weight characters weredetermined. It was determined that drought stress applications caused statistically significant decreases in root and shootcharacters. Osmotic stress of, 1.00 MPa and 0.75 MPa caused statistically significant reductions in root and shoot characters.The results indicated that early and mid-early varieties were more tolerant to drought than the late varieties. AlthoughAglika, Anapo, Enola and Hamza varieties were outstanding for their root properties, while Maden, NKU Ergene andBezostaja-1 cultivars showed more appropriate shoot characteristics than other cultivars. Enola, Aglika, Bezostaja-1,NKU Ergene, Anapo, Hamza and Maden bread wheat varieties showed better growth characteristics under drought stressconditions in the study.

The study was carried out to evaluate yield components and some physiological quality traits for 30 durum wheat landraces(native and foreign originated) and 5 obsolete cultivars in Thrace ecological conditions. Experiments were set up inrandomized block design in 3 replicated during the 3 consecutive growing seasons. As a result of the analysis of variance,the differences between the averages of the genotypes for the traits were found to be statistically significant. This indicatedthat there may be enough variation for traits within landraces. The mean values of genotypes ranged between 2238 kg/ha-1and 3749 kg/ha-1 for grain yield, 98.8 cm and 135.3 cm for plant height, 6.04 cm and 8.88 cm for spike length, 26.6 and35.3 for the number of grains per spike, 0.988 g and 1.494 g for grain weight per spike, 36.1 g and 42.7 g for thousandgrain weight, 74.4 kg/hl-1 and 79.4 kg/hl-1 for test weight and 82.1% and 94.6% for vitreous grain percentage. AlthoughKahramanmaraş, Dicle, Boğacak, Sorgül, Ionia, Cyprus and Haurani were determined as promising populations for yieldand yield components, Siverek, Çanakkale, Tokat, Gaziantep, Yozgat and Urfa landraces had better physical quality. Theestimated coefficient of variation and broad sense heritability shifted from 3.9% to 24.52% and from 7.91% to 72.44%for the traits, respectively. Moderately high coefficient of variation, broad sense heritability a genetic advance for plantheight, spike length and vitreous grain percentage indicated that selection based on these traits will be more effective andaccomplished in the genetic material.

The study was carried out in randomized block design with 20 advanced lines with soft grain structure by developed Eskisehir Agricultural Research Institute and 4 standard wheat genotypes in Hamidiye and Karabayir locations of Eskisehir Province in the 2014-2015 growing period. The solvent retention capacity (SRC) tests (sodium carbonate (5%), sucrose (50%), lactic acid (5%) and distilled water) and gluten performance index (GPI) were investigated for 20 lines and 4 standard varieties in the study. According to the results of the analysis of variance regarding SRC tests and GPI, the differences between the genotypes, locations and their interaction averages were found to be statistically significant. The fact that the size of the variation between locations is higher than the genotype and interaction variances indicates that there are significant differences between the locations selected for the study, and the low interaction variance shows that the locations are correctly selected for the studied genotypes and their number is sufficient. For SRC tests used in soft wheat milling and biscuit quality determination, it was determined that the genotype and location effects were greater than the genotype x location interaction effects. The mean values of genotypes ranged between 86.68% and 112.83% for lactic acid SRC, 79.95% and 89.29% for sucrose SRC, 79.52% and 94.83% for sodium carbonate SRC and 58.18% to 65.14% for water SRC. The genotypes taken into the study in terms of GPI had averages varying between 0.49 and 0.66. Considering the obtained SRC tests and GPI reference values, it was determined that BIS-19 could be the line with the best biscuit performance. The BIS-2, BIS-11, BIS-13 and BIS-16 were other promising lines for biscuit quality performances. In addition, BIS-9, BIS-17, BIS-22 and BIS-8 have been promising lines that can be evaluated in breeding studies for biscuit quality.

NKU Lider is a winter bread wheat (Triticumaestivum L.) variety, developed by Tekirdağ NamıkKemal University, Agricultural Faculty and registeredin 2016. The spike of the NKU Lider variety ismoderately long and dense, white, and awned. Grain isoval, semi hard and red color. NKU Lider is a mediumtallvariety, similar to Flamura 85 and Tekirdağ breadwheat varieties. Plant height is between 85 and 90cm depending on the growing conditions. NKU Lidervariety is a winter type, medium-early, resistant towinter hardiness, good tolerant to drought, high abilityof tillering and trashing, and since its wide adaptability,it can be grown safely not only in the Thrace-MarmaraRegion, but also in other wheat production areas ofour country.

The s tudy was carried out in the experimental area of the Field Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, NamikKemal University in the growing season of 2011-12. In the s tudy, grain yield and its components and some quality traitssuch as 1000 grain weight, wet gluten content, gluten index, sedimentation value and protein content were inves tigated.The results exhibited significant differences among the tes ted genotypes, for all s tudied characters except spike length,indicating genetic variation among them. The genetic variation was higher for grain yield and its components when comparedwith quality characteris tics. These differences show that the effects of increasing gamma irradiation are not sys tematicallynegative for plant height, while positive for all other characters in comparison with controls. In general, it is unders toodthat the highes t percent changes are achieved in 200 and 250 Gy of gamma radiation doses for yield components, whileare in 300-350 Gy for the quality characteris tics. The values of phenotypic coefficient of variation PCV were slightlyhigher than their corresponding values of GCV for all traits. Moderate es timates of genotypic coefficient of variation GCVwere obtained by grain yield (12.50%), gluten content (11.20%) and grain weight per spike (10.20%), respectively. Lowes timates of GCV (less than 10) were recorded for the other characters inves tigated. The h2 values ranged from 37.3%, forsedimentation value, and 86.6%, for plant height, while the values of GA% ranged between 0.09 and 593.0.5% at 10%selection intensity for grain weight per spike and grain yield, respectively. The high values of heritability coupled withhigh values of genetic advance (%) were recorded by plant height, indicates the importance of the additive gene effects,so, selection would be effective in early generations for the trait. The high values of heritability coupled with moderatevalues of genetic advance (%) for harves t index and gluten index indicate selection would be a delay in later generations.

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of sowing time,cultivar and seed fungicide applications on root and crown rot diseaseand grain yield of bread wheat with different earliness traits (Esperia,mid-early; Genesi, late and Anapo, early) in the experiment station ofthe Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, TekirdağNamık Kemal University. Four different fungicides pre-treatments(prothioconazole + tebuconazole, carboxin + thiram, prochloraz +tiriticonazole and control) were applied to the seeds of the varietiesbefore sowing in three different times, on 1 November, 15 Novemberand 30 November 2016. The experiment was designed as a split-splitplot with 3 replications. The results of the variance analysis showedthat the effect of applying different seed fungicide pre-treatment rootand crown rot of bread wheat varieties was statistically significant.While the lowest root and crown rot with 2.67 % was obtained fromthe second sowing time, the highest root and crown rot wasdetermined with a value of 3.64% for the earliest sowing on 01November. Among the four different fungicide pre-treatments, thehighest root and crown rot (5.59%) was obtained in the controlapplication, while the lowest root and crown rot was obtained inprothioconazole + tebuconazole, carboxin + thiram and prochloraz +triticonazole, with 1.96%, 2.10% and 2.19% root and crown rot,respectively. These data indicate that early sowing may increase rootand crown rot severity. Çalışmada, varyans analizi sonuçlarına göre farklı tohum fungusiti uygulamalarının ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin kök ve kök çürüklüğü üzerine etkisi istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Farklı ekim zamanlarında en düşü kök ve kök boğazı çürüklüğü %2.67 ile ikinci ekim zamanında elde edilirken, en yüksek kök ve kök boğazı çürüklüğü %3.64 ile en erken ekim olan 01 Kasım ekiminde belirlenmiştir. The present research was conducted to evaluate the M1, M2, M3 and M4 bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) mutant populations for yield andyield related traits during 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 at Tekirdağ ecological conditions. Three wheat genotypes were treated withdifferent levels of gamma rays (100 Gy, 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy, 500 Gy and Control). The mutated plants were evaluated along with parentallines (control) for grain yield (GY) and its contributing traits such as plant height (PH), spike length (SL), the number of spikelets per spike(NSPS), the number of grains per spike (NGPS), grain weight per spike (GWPS), harvest index (HI) and thousand grain weight (TGW) underfield conditions. The results obtained from the present study showed that the genotypes significantly and variably differed in their responsefor various traits at different gamma rays doses. The traits such as PH, TGW and grain yield (GY) showed generally reduction with highergamma irradiation doses as compared to low doses, while mutagenic treatments shifted the mean values mostly towards the negative directionin the other yield components. But, the negative or positive shifts were not unidirectional or equally effective for all the traits. These findingssuggested that the variability could be induced through the use of gamma irradiations in bread wheat. Some of the traits showed improvementdue to the induced mutations could be used in future wheat breeding programs. The differences in mean values and the nature of variabilityobserved in M2 indicated a possible preference of selection in M3 generation., Bu araştırma, M1, M2, M3 ve M4 ekmeklik buğday mutant populasyonlarını verim ve verime etkili özellikler bakımından değerlendirmekiçin 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 ve 2013-14 yıllarında Tekirdağ ekolojik koşullarında yürütülmüştür. Üç buğday genotipine farklı dozlardagamma ışını (Kontrol, 100 Gy, 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy ve 500 Gy) uygulanmıştır. Mutant bitkiler anaçları (kontrol) ile birlikte tane verimi(TV) ve bitki boyu (BB), başak uzunluğu (BAU), başakta başakçık sayısı (BABS), başakta tane sayısı (BATS), başakta tane ağırlığı (BATA),hasat indeksi (HI) ve bin tane ağırlığı (BTA) gibi verime etkili özellikler bakımından tarla koşullarında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmadan eldeedilen sonuçlar, genotiplerin çeşitli özellikler için farklı gamma ışını dozlarına yanıtlarının önemli ve değişken bir şekilde farklı olduğunugöstermiştir. Bitki boyu, bin tane ağırlığı ve tane verimi gibi özellikler düşük dozlarla karşılaştırıldığında yüksek gamma ışını dozlarındagenellikle azalma gösterirken, mutagen uygulamaları diğer verim unsurlarında ortalama değerleri çoğunlukla negatif yöne doğru kaydırmıştır.Ancak, negatif ya da pozitif yöndeki kaymalar tüm özellikler için tek yönde ya da eşit derecede etkili olmamıştır. Bu bulgular, buğdayda gammaışınları kullanılarak varyabilitenin oluşturulabileceğini göstermiştir. Oluşturulan mutasyonlara bağlı olarak gelişme gösteren bazı özelliklergelecekte buğday ıslahı çalışmalarında kullanılabilecektir. M2’de gözlenen varyabilite ve ortalama değerlerdeki farklar M3 generasyonundaseleksiyonun mümkün olabileceğini göstermiştir.

Leaf rust caused by Pucinia recondita tritici is one of the most important diseases of bread wheat worldwide. It is considered that the most environmentally sound; low cost method of controlling leaf rust is to breed and grow genetically resistant wheat varieties. In the research, twenty-four bread wheat varieties grown intensively were used as genetic material in Trakya Region where the North-West Part of Turkey. To create artificial leaf rust epidemic in field conditions, two sensitive varieties (Morrocco and Cumhuriyet 75) was sown after each ten genotypes, and the reactions of the varieties to leaf rust were investigated in field conditions. Isogenic lines carrying the genes Lr9, Lr14, Lr19, Lr24 and Lr47 from CIMMYT were used as control genotypes in molecular analysis. In the field conditions, although Pehlivan, Selimiye, Sagittario, Tina, Anapo, Montchill and Saraybosna were the most sensitive genotypes, Nota, Kate A1, Prostor and Sana were the most resistant bread wheat varieties to leaf rust. It was determined that Sana, Pehlivan, Golia, Falmura 85, Saroz 95, Renan, Sirena, Kate A1, Selimiye, Bezostoja 1, Saraybosna, Nina and Tina varieties have Lr9 gene with SSR analysis. It has been observed that all bread wheat varieties carry Lr14, Lr19, Lr24 and Lr47 (except Krasunia, Aldane and Gelibolu varieties) genes. It is revealed that Lr9 and Lr47 genes should be taken into consideration in the studies to be performed in the region and these genes will be useful to examine together with a larger number of leaf rust genes for more successful results in breeding studies. © Ankara Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi.

Brachypodium distachyon is a new model plant species for cool season grasses. In this study, 48 natural B. distachyon populations from the collection stored at Namik Kemal University, Department of Field Crops; which were collected from different geographic regions of Turkey were used. Seventeen morphological characters and their relationship with altitude were investigated in the study. Based on the result of study, average properties were 24.7 cm for plant height, 5.6 cm for length of flag leaf, 4.5 mm for width of flag leaf, 4.5 g for biomass weigth (except the root), 34 for spike number per stem, 4 for number of stem without spike, 111 for number of spikelet per plant, 372 for number of seed per plant, 1.95 g for seed weight per plant, and 5.22 g for the thousand kernel weight. Additionally, average duration for seed germination, heading and anthesis were determined to be 15, 125, and 136 days respectively. It was determined that most of the plants had green colour, feathered structure and erect forms. But, semi-erect and even prostrate forms were also observed in some populations. All the data was subjected to principle component analysis. The results of the analysis indicate that B. distachyon collection used in this study have a tremendous morphological variation. Based on the results, duration of the germination had a negative correlation with increasing altitude while thousand kernel weight and plant appearance had a positive correlation.

This study was carried out in order to determine the grain vitreousness percentage and stability performance of 44 durum wheat genotypes, which were tested in 3 different environments during 2 growing periods. Grain vitreousness percentage of the genotypes ranged between 69.2% and 90.0%. Svevo, Amanos 97, and Zenit varieties had the highest vitreousness kernel percentages and the lowest grain yields. The negative correlation coefficient between vitreous grain percentage and grain yield, according to correlation analysis, confirms this result. Mutant 47, Harran 95, Epidur, and Kızıltan 95 were the most stable genotypes with respect to all stability parameters studied for vitreousness. Therefore, they can be recommended for profitable grain yield and consistent quality durum wheat production in the north-western region of Turkey. Svevo, Amanos 97, Zenit, Gediz 75, Ankara 98, Mirzabey, and Fuatbey 2000 varieties could be used as progenitors in future breeding programmes due to their high grain vitreousness potentials.

In this study, the heterotic and heterobelthiotic performance of 22 bread wheat hybrids were evaluated for plant yield and some important yield components during 2006-07 growing season under Tekirdağ, Thrace conditions. Wide genetic variability was observed in the experimental material for the characters. The maximum heterosis and heterobelthiosis were recorded in Syrena x Bezostaja and Sana x Bezostaja (-5.05 and -14.01%) for plant height, Krasunia x Sana and Syrena x Krasunia (25.93 and 9.40%) for spike length, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja (26.96 and 26.56%) for grains/spike, Pehlivan x Krasunia (25.00 and 22.28%) for grain weight/spike, Bezostaja x Sana and Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 (8.62 and 5.45%) for 1000 grain weight, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja (9.28 and 9.14%) for harvest index and Pehlivan x Krasunia (27.85 and 24.10%) for grain yield/plant respectively. It is concluded that parents Pehlivan, Sana, Sadovo 1 and Krasunia should be utilized to improve certain traits in hybridization scheme and the hybrid combinations Sana x Bezostaja, Syrena x Krasunia, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja, Pehlivan x Krasunia and Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 could be recommended for improved yield and enhanced biological production of bread wheat. Bu çalışmada, 2006-07 yetiştirme döneminde Tekirdağ, Trakya koşullarında 22 ekmeklik buğday melezinin bitki verimi ve bazı önemli verim unsurları için heterotik ve heterobeltiotik performansları incelenmiştir. Deneme materyalinde incelenen özellikler için oldukça geniş bir genetik varyabilite gözlenmiştir. En yüksek heterosis ve heteroeltiosis oranları sırasıyla; bitki boyu için Syrena x Bezostaja ve Sana x Bezostaja’da (%-5.05 ve %-14.01), başak uzunluğu için Krasunia x Sana ve Syrena x Krasunia’ da (%25.93 ve %9.40), başakta tane sayısı için Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja’ da (%26.96 ve %26.56), başakta tane ağırlığı için Pehlivan x Krasunia’ da (%25.00 ve %22.28), 1000 tane ağırlığı için Bezostaja x Sana ve Bezostaja x Sadovo 1’de (%8.62 ve %5.45), hasat indeksi için Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja’da (%9.28 and %9.14) ve bitki verimi için Pehlivan x Krasunia’ da (%27.85 ve %24.10) hesaplanmıştır. Pehlivan, Sana, Sadovo 1 ve Krasunia anaçlarının melezleme çalışmalarında belirli özellikleri iyileştirmek için kullanılabileceği ve sırasıyla Sana x Bezostaja, Syrena x Krasunia, Sadovo 1 x Bezostaja, Pehlivan x Krasunia ve Bezostaja x Sadovo 1 melez kombinasyonlarının ekmeklik buğdayda verim artışı için önerilebilecekleri sonucuna varılmıştır.

Variability of grain yield and some yield components of 17 durum wheat varieties with native and exotic originated was investigated. This research was performed under rainfed conditions in three different environments (Tekirdağ, Lüleburgaz and Edirne) during two growing years (2001-2002 and 2002-2003). Significant differences among cultivars, locations and production years were determined. The highest variations among characters were found in grain weight/spike, grains/spike, spike length and grain yield. In the first experimental year, there was a high positive significant correlation between grain yield and grain weight/spike, test weight and 1000 grain weight. In the second experimental year, grain yield showed positive and significant correlations with 1000 grain weight, test weight and stem length. The biggest differences among investigated cultivar of durum wheat were found in stem length, grains/spike and 1000 grain weight. Grain yield of examined cultivars depended mainly on 1000 grain weight, test weight, grain weight/spike and agroecological conditions during the growing period. However, location, production year and genotypes were the most important determinant of potential yield of cultivars. Ç 1252, Fuatbey 2000, Epidur, Kızıltan95, Aydın 93 and Altın 97 were found more suitable cultivars that the others for durum wheat production in Thrace Region. Çalışmada, yerli ve yabancı kökenli on yedi makarnalık buğday çeşitinde verim ve verim komponentlerinde değişim araştırılmıştır. Denemeler, üç farklı lokasyonda (Tekirdağ, Lüleburgaz and Edirne) iki yıl süresince yürütülmüştür. Yapılan varyans analizi sonuçlarına göre, çeşitler, lokasyonlar ve yıllar arasında istatistiki olarak önemli farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. İncelenen karakterlerden başakta dane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak uzunluğu ve tane verimi arasında en yüksek varyasyon bulunmuştur. İlk deneme yılında tane verimi ile başakta tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı ve 1000 tane ağırlığı arasında önemli olumlu ilişkiler belirlenmiştir. İkinci yıl ise, dane verimi 1000 tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı ve sap uzunluğu ile önemli olumlu ilişkiler göstermiştir. Makarnalık buğday çeşitleri arasında en önemli varyasyon sap uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı ve 1000 tane ağırlığında bulunmuştur. Makarnalık buğday çeşitlerinde tane veriminin ana olarak 1000 tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, başakta tane sayısı ve yetişme periodu süresince agro ekolojik koşullarla bağıntılı olduğu bulunmuştur. Bununla yanında, lokasyon, yetiştirme yılı ve genotiplerde çeşitlerin verim potansiyallerini belirleyen önemli belirleyiciler olmuşlardır. Trakya bölgesi için Ç 1252, Fuatbey 2000, Epidur, Kızıltan 95 , Aydın 93 ve Altın 97 en uygun makarnalık buğday çeşitleri olarak bulunmuştur.

Ayrıca, mutagen uygulamasının bitkide kardes sayısını artırdıgı belirlenmistir. A total of 96 mutant lines were sown in augmented design with 4 check varieties without replications in 6 blocks. When mutants and control genotypes in the M5 generation were investigated for six characters, a considerable number of mutants within the desired characters were obtained. Application of mutation doses resulted in significantly short genotypes among the selected mutant genotypes in the M5. The majority of M4 mutant lines had suitable genotypes in terms of plant height and heading, test weight and a thousand kernel weights.

Yukarıdaki anlatımlardan anlaşıldığı gibi çeşitlerin tane verimi üzerine yıl ve yörelerde değişen Çevresel faktörlerin etkisi önemli olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmamızda yer alan mısır çeşitlerinde, bitki tane verimi 55.0- 246.8 g. arasında değişmiştir. En fazla bitki verimi Px-79 çeşidinde, en düşük ise G-188 çeşidinde tartılmıştır. Denemeye alınan çeşitlerde tepe püskülü çıkış süresi 61-93.7 gün arasında değişmiştir. En uzun tepe püskülü çıkartma süresi P-3165 çeşidinde, en kısa ise G-188 çeşidinde bulunmuştur. incelenen çeşitlerde Koçan püskülü çıkartma süresi 64-98.7 gün arasında değişmiştir. 72- Melez tohumluğun ertesi yıl açık tozlanan tohumlarını eken üretici ise tohumluktan kaynaklanan masraflar çıktıktan sonra 1 dekardan 37350 TL gelir elde etmektedir. Melez tohumluk kullanan üretici melez tdhumluğun açık ta tozlanan tohumlarını eken üreticiye oranla 1 dekarlık a- landan 13650 ÎL daha fazla gelir elde etmektedir. Deneme sonuçlarına dayandırılarak yapılan `bu çok basit ekenomik a- naliz hile konunun ne kadar önemli olduğunu ortaya koymak tadır.-73- ÖZET Araştırmamızda, 5melez ve bunların açık toalanan 5 çe şitinde, ele aldığımız 19 karakterde meydana gelen değişme ler ve bu karekterlerin verimle olan ilişkileri incelenip bulgular aşağıdaki gibi özetlenmiştir. 1. Tepe Püskülü Çıkartma Tarihi: Denemeye alınan çe şitlerin tepe püskülü çıkartma tarihi 54-3-56.0 gün arası ni da değişmektedir. En erken tepe püskülü çıkartma M- 2 çeşitin- de görülmüştür. En geç tepe püskülü çıkartma ise AT- 4 çeşi dinde görülmüştür. Verim ile tepe püskülü çıkartma tarihi arasında olumsuz ve önemli ilişki saptanmıştır. 2. Koçan Püskülü Çıkartma Tarihi: Koçan püskülü çıkart ma tarihi 57. 6-61.3 gün arasında değişmektedir. En erken ko çan püskülü çıkartma M-2 çeşidinde, en geç ise AT-4 ve AT-5 çeşitlerinde bulunmuştur. Verim ile koçan püskülü çıkartma tarihi arasında olumsuz ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 3. Olgunlaşma Tarihi: Denemeye alman çeşitlerden en erken olgunlaşma M-2 (P-3377) çeşitinde görülmüştür. En geç Olgunlaşma ise AT-4 (DK-727) çeşitinde görülmüştür. Olgun laşma tarihi ile verimi arasında melez çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli lişki,açık tozlanan çeşitlerde ise olumlu önemsiz ilişki bulunmuştur. 4. Bitkide Yaprak Sayısı: Yaprak sayısı 13.6-15.6 ara sında değişmektedir. En fazla yaprak sayısı M- 4 çeşitinde, en az ise AT-5 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Yaprak sayısı ile bit ki verimi arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişki saptanmıştır.-74- 5. Bitkide Koçan Sayası: Denemeye alınan çeşitlerin koçan sayısı 1.12-1.50 arasında değişmektedir. En fazla ko çan oluşturma M-2 çeşit inde, en az koçan oluşturma AT-1 ve AT-5 çeşitlerinde görülmüştür. Bitki verimi ile bitkide ko~ çan sayısı arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 6. Bitkide Koçan U&unluğu: En fazla koçan uzunluğu 18.45 era ile M-5 çeşitinde, en az kaçan uaunluğu ise 14.45 cm ile AT-2 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Koçan uzunluğu ile verim arasında melez ve açık tozlanan çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli ilişki saptanmıştır. 7. îlk Koçanın Yerden Yüksekliği: Çeşitlerin ilk koçan larının yerden yüksekliği £3. 97-75.49 cm arasında değişmek-* tedir. En fazla koçan yüksekliği M- 3 çeşitinde, en az koçan yüksekliği ise A'T-5 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Bitki verimi ile ilk koçanın yerden yüksekliği arasında olumlu ve önemli iliş ki bulunmuştur. 8. İlk Koçanın Altındaki Yaprağın Uzunluğu: Bu uzunluk çeşitlerde 64.0-73 cm arasında değişmektedir. En fazla yapa rak uzunluğu M-2 çeşitinde, en az yaprak uzunluğu ise AT-5 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Yaprak uzunluğu ile bitki verimi ara sında açık tozlanan çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli ilişki bu lunmuştur. 9. îlk Koçanın Altındaki Yaprağın Eni: Denemeye alman çeşitlerde yaprak eni 8.46-9.23 cm arasında değişmektedir. En fazla yaprak genişliği M-l çeşitinde, en az yaprak geniş liği ise AT-5 çeşitinde saptanmıştır. Yaprak genişliği ile bitki verimi arasında melez ve açık tozlanan çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 10. Sap Çapı: Denemeye alman çeşitlerde sap çapı 24.8- 29.9 mm arasında değişmektedir. En geniş sap çapı M-4 çeşi~-75- tınde, en dar ise AT-l cesitin.de görülmüştür. Sap çapı ile bitki verimi arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 11 ` Bitki Boyu: Denemeye alınan çeşitlerde bitki boyu 124.8-157.9 em aramada değişmektedir. En uzun boylu çeşit olarak M~3 çeşiti, en kısa boylu çeşit olarak ise AT- 5 çe- şiti bulunmuştur. Bitki verimi ile bitki boyu arasında olum lu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 12. Tanelenme Oranı: % 82.3 ile % 84.6 arasında deği şen tanelenme oranı en fazla M-5 çeşitinde, en az ise AT-2 çeşidinde görülmüştür. Tanelenme oranı ile bitki verimi ara sında melez çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli, açık tozlanan çeşit lerde olumlu ilişki saptanmıştır. 13. Koçanda Sıra Sayısı: Çeşitlerin koçandaki sıra sa yısı 13.(j-lb..3 arasında değişmektedir. Sıra sayısı en fa 2 la M-4 ve iA-2 çeşitinde, en az, ise AT-5 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Bitki verimi ile koçanda sıra sayısı arasında açık tozlanan çeşitlerde olumlu ve önemli ilişki görülmüştür. 14. Koçanda Tane Sayısı: Denemeye alman çeşitlerin koçanları ndaki tane sayıları 485-704.3 arasında değişmekte dir. Koçanda en fazla tane sayısı M-5 çeşitinde, enaz ise AT-l çeşitinde görülmüştür. Bitki verimi ile koçandaki tane sayısı arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 15. Somak Ağırlığı: Denemeye alınan melez çeşitler a- çık tozlananlarmdan daha ağır somaklar oluşturmuşlardır. En fazla somak ağırlığı M-l çeşitinde, en az ise AT-5 çeşi- tindegörülmüştür. Somak ağırlığı ile bitki tane verimi arar sında olumlu ve önemli ilişki bulunmuştur. 16. Koçan Ağırlığı: Denemeye alınan çeşitlerin koçan ağırlığı 124.3-200 gr arasında değişmektedir. En fazla koç» -76- ağırlığı M-5 çeşitinde, en az ise AT-2 çeşitinde bulunmuş tur. Bitki tane verimi ile koçan ağırlığa arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişki saptanmıştır. 17. 1000 Tane Ağırlığı: Denemeye alman çeşitlerde 203-253 gr arasında değişen 1000 tane ağırlığı en fazla M-l çeşitinde, en az ise AT-2 çeşitinde görülmüştür. Bitki tane verimi ile 1000 tane ağırlığı arasında olumlu ve önemli iliş ki bulunmuştur. 18. Bitki Verimi: Bitki verimi yönünden melez çeşit ler açık tozlananlarını % 20-37 oranında geçmektedir. Dene meye alınan çeşitlerde bitki verimi 100.6-169.2 gr arasında değişmektedir. En fazla bitki verimi M-5 çeşitinde, en az bitki verimi ise AT-2 çeşitinde görülmüştür. 19. Dekara Tane Terimi : Denemeye alınan çeşitlerin dekar verimleri 402.7-676.6 kg arasında değişmektedir. Dene meye alınan melez çeşitler açık t o zi ananlar ma oranla % 20- 37 daha fazla verim vermişlerdir. Çalışmada 59 adet şeker mısır hattı kullanılmıştır. Bu hatlar UPOV (The International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants) un belirlediği karakterler ile morfolojik, 16 SSR [basit dizi tekrarları] primeri kullanılarak moleküler ve protein, nişasta, yağ ve toplam şeker analizleri ile de teknolojik olarak incelenmiştir. Morfolojik ve moleküler değerlendirmelerin sonuçları ile kümeleme analizleri yapılmış ve iki ana grup saptanmıştır. Bu iki ana grubu, su (normal şeker mısır) tip ve sh (süper tatlı şeker mısır) tip şeker mısır hatlarının oluşturduğu görülmüştür. Gözlenen morfolojik karakterlerde gerçekleştirilen temel bileşenler analizi (TBA) ile 23 UPOV karakteriyle sahip olunan varyasyonun ifade edilebileceği ortaya konulmuştur. Moleküler analiz ile SSRs lokusları için allel sayısı 2 ile 12 arasında değişmiş ve ortalama allel sayısı 5.56 olarak bulunmuştur. Moleküler ve morfolojik benzerlik matris değerlerine göre birbirlerine en uzak 8 hat biyometrik genetik değerlendirmeler gerçekleştirmek üzere yarım dilallel melezlemeye tabi tutulmuşlardır. Melezlerin ve ebeveynlerin bulunduğu deneme, 2020 yılında Sakarya koşullarında kısmen dengeli basit latis deneme desenine göre 2 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuştur. Ebeveynler ve melezlerin biyometrik genetik değerlendirmelerinde genetik varyans bileşenleri arasında oranlar gözden geçirildiğinde, yalnızca koçanda sıra sayısı karakterinde kısmi dominantlık öteki karaterlerdeyse üstün dominantlığın etkisinin varlığı anlaşılmaktadır. Genel kombinasyon kabiliyeti (GKK) üzerinde durulan bütün karakterlerde önemli bulunmuştur. Özel kombinasyon yeteneği (ÖKK) koçanda sıra sayısı karakteri hariç diğer tüm özelliklerde önemli bulunmuştur. Ortalama heterosis değerleri bütün karakterlerde pozitifken, ortalama heterobeltiosis değerlerinde ise tepe püskülü çiçeklenme gün sayısı ve tane kabuk kalınlığı hariç bütün karakterlerde pozitif değerler kaydedilmiştir. Bu çalışmada; tepe püskülü çiçeklenme gün sayısı, bitki boyu, ilk koçan yüksekliği, koçan uzunluğu, koçan çapı, koçanda sıra sayısı, sırada tane sayısı, bin tane ağırlığı, tane kabuk kalınlığı, taze koçan verimi ve kuru tane verimi karakterleri ile teknolojik değerlendirme olarak da % yağ, % nişasta, % protein ve % toplam şeker değerleri incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, şeker mısır ıslahında su ve sh tiplerinin ayrımında morfolojik, moleküler ve teknolojik değerler üzerinden ayrımlarının yapılabileceği ortaya konulmuştur. In this study, 59 sweet corn inbred lines were used. These lines were examined morphologically with the characters determined by UPOV(The International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants), molecularly using 16 SSR[Simple Sequence Repeats] primers and technologically by protein, starch, fat and total sugar analysis. Cluster analyzes were performed with the results of morphological and molecular evaluations and two main groups were determined. It was observed that these two main groups consisted of su (normal sweet corn) type and sh (super sweet corn) type sweet corn lines. It has been revealed that the variation with 23 UPOV characters can be expressed by principal component analysis (TBA) performed on the observed morphological characters. As a result of molecular analysis studies, the number of alleles for SSRs loci ranged from 2 to 12, and the mean number of alleles was found to be 5.56. According to the molecular and morphological similarity matrix values, the 8 lines farthest from each other were subjected to half-diallel hybridization to perform biometric genetic evaluations. The trial with hybrids and parents was established in Sakarya conditions in 2020 according to a partially balanced simple lattice trial design with 2 replications. The trial involving hybrids and parents was conducted in dublicate using partially balanced simple lattice trial design in Sakarya conditions in 2020. When the ratios between genetic variance components in biometric genetic evaluations of parents and hybrids are reviewed, while partial dominance is seen only in the number of rows on the cob character, the presence of the effect of superior dominance is understood in other characters. General Combination Ability (GCA) was found to be significant in all inspected characters. Special combination ability (SCA) was found to be significant in all other features except the ordinal number character on the cob. Average heterosis values were determined as positive in all characters, positive values were recorded in all characters except for the number of days of tassel flowering and kernel pericarp thickness in average heterobeltiosis values. In this study; the number of days of tassel flowering, plant height, first ear height, ear length, ear diameter, number of rows on the ear, number of grains in the row, thousand kernel weight, kernel pericarp thickness, fresh ear yield and dry kernel yield characters as well as technological evaluation such as % oil, % starch, % protein and % total sugar values were examined. As a result, it has been revealed that the differentiation of su and sh types can be made in sugar corn breeding on the basis of morphological, molecular and technological values.

Çalışma 3 aşamalı olarak yapılmıştır. Laboratuvar koşullarında 43 genotip PEG6000 ile yaratılan 5 farklı kuraklık ortamında (0,00 MPa, 0,25 MPa, 0,50 MPa, 0,75 MPa ve 1,00 MPa uygulamaları) 5 tekrarlamalı olarak Tesadüf Parselleri Deneme Desenine göre denemeye alınmıştır. Laboratuvar çalışmalarında bitki ağırlığı, kök sayısı, kök uzunluğu, kök ağırlığı, sürgün uzunluğu ve sürgün ağırlığı karakterleri belirlenmiştir. Tüp denemesi 24 Ekmeklik buğday genotip ile yürütülmüştür. Bu 24 genotip çalışmada kullanılan 39 adet ekmeklik buğday, 1 adet çavdar, 1 adet kavlıca, 2 adet siyez popülasyonu olmak üzere 43 adet genotipin arasından laboratuvar koşullarında PEG ile yapılan kuraklık çalışması sonucu belirlenen genotiplerdir. Çalışmada bitki boyu, başak boyu, başakta başakçık sayısı, başakta dane sayısı, başakta dane ağırlığı, kök uzunluğu, kök ağırlığı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Tüp çalışması Tesadüf Blokları Deneme Desenine göre 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Kasa denemesi 10 metre uzunluğunda ve 1,2 metre genişliğinde oluşturulan kasalara 45 genotip 1 metre boyunda sıra olarak ekilmiştir. Çalışmada genotiplerin erken dönemde kurağa toleransları incelenmiştir. Çalışmada fide canlı kalım oranı, fide gelişimi, bitki örtüsü sıcaklığı, klorofil oranı, stoma eni, uzunluğu ve boyu özellikleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen özelliklerde yapılan varyans analizi ve önemlilik testi sonucunda PEG uygulamaları, kuraklık seviyesi uygulamaları ve kasada fide canlı kalım oranları yönünden genotipler incelendiğinde genotipler arasında önemli bir değişimin olduğu gözlemlemiştir. Laboratuvar koşullarında 43 genotip ile yürütülen çalışmalarda incelenen kurağa tolerans özelliği yönünden en iyi genotipler Enola, NKÜ Ergene, Bezostoja 1 ve Maden genotipleri olurken, bunları Aglika, Falado, Anopa, Selimiye, Bora ve Hakan genotipleri izlemiştir. Kurağa tolerans yönünden en alt değerler ise Siyez-1, Siyez-2 ve Kavlıca genotiplerinde elde edilmiştir. Tüp ortamında yapılan çalışmada incelenen kurağa tolerans özelliği yönünden Enola ve NKÜ Ergene en üstte yer alırken, bunları Rumeli, Prima, Esperia ve Bora genotipleri izlemiştir. Tüp ortamında en düşük değerler ise Kavlıca Beyaz, LG59, Adelaide ve Rebelde genotiplerinde elde edilmiştir. Kasa ortamında ise fide canlı kalım oranı yönünden Esperia, Rumeli, Krasunia Odes'ka, Almeria ve Falado genotipleri daha iyi sonuçlar gösterirken, Adelaide, LG59, Siyez-1 ve Siyez 2, Başkan ve Anopa ise düşük değerler vermişlerdir. Kasa ortamında incelenen tüm özellikler dikkate alındığında Enola, Mihelca, Maden, Hamza ve Aglika genotipleri kuraklık yönünden daha iyi bulunurken, Adelaide, Başkan, Spelta Beyaz, Siyez-1 ve Aldane ise düşük değerler vermişlerdir. The study was organized in 3 different ways. In laboratory conditions, the study was conducted in 5 different drought environments (0.00 MPa, 0.25 MPa, 0.50 MPa, 0.75 MPa and 1.00 MPa applications) created with 43 genotypes of PEG6000, with 5 replications according to the Random Plots Trial Design. In the study, plant weight, root number, root length, root weight, shoot length and shoot weight characters were determined. A specially prepared tube experiment was carried out with 24 Bread wheat genotypes. Forty three genotypes, including 39 bread wheat, 1 rye, 1 kavlıca and 2 einkorn populations, and 24 genotypes were selected by utilizing the results obtained in the drought study conducted with PEG under laboratory conditions. In the study, plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, root length, root weight properties were investigated. The specially prepared tube study was carried out according to the Random Blocks Trial Design with 4 replications. In crate experment as a third study, 45 genotypes were planted in 1 meter long rows in crates with a length of 10 meters and a width of 1.2 meters. In the study, for the early drought tolerance of the genotypes; Seedling survival rate, seedling growth, vegetation temperature, chlorophyll ratio, stomatal width, length and height characteristics were investigated. As a result of the analysis of variance and significance test performed on the examined traits, it was observed that there was a statistically significant change between genotypes and genotypes in terms of PEG applications, drought level applications and seedling survival rates Enola, NKÜ Ergene, Bezostoja 1 and Maden were the best genotypes in terms of drought tolerance in the studies carried out with 43 genotypes under laboratory conditions, followed by Aglika, Falado, Anopa, Selimiye, Bora and Hakan. The lowest values in terms of drought tolerance were obtained in Siyez-1, Siyez-2 and Kavlıca genotypes. Enola and NKÜ Ergene were at the top in terms of drought tolerance properties, which were examined in the study conducted in a specially prepared tube medium, followed by Rumeli, Prima, Esperia and Bora genotypes. The lowest values in specially prepared tube medium were obtained in Kavlıca Beyaz, LG59, Adelaide and Rebelde genotypes. Esperia, Rumeli, Krasunia Odes'ka, Almeria and Falado genotypes showed better results in terms of seedling survival rate in the box environment, while Adelaide, LG59, Siyez-1 and Siyez-2, President and Anopa gave low values. When all the characters examined in the safe environment are evaluated together; Enola, Mihelca, Maden, Hamza and Aglika genotypes were found to be better in terms of drought, while Adelaide, President, Spelta Beyaz, Siyez-1 and Aldane gave low values.

Çalışma NKÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü deneme alanında 2019 -2020 yılı yetiştirme sezonunda yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada farklı olgunlaşma grubunda yer alan Golia, Lider ve Rebelde çeşitleri kullanılmıştır. Üç ekmeklik buğday çeşidine laboratuvar koşullarında üç farklı hormonun (IAA, BAP, GA3), dört farklı dozu (0,25,50,75) üç farklı saatte (3,6,9) uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada; laboratuvar koşullarında kök sayısı, kök uzunluğu, kök ağırlığı, sürgün uzunluğu ve sürgün ağırlığı incelenmiştir. Tarla koşullarında ise üç farklı hormon (IAA, BAP, GA3) ve dört farklı hormon dozu (0,25,50,75) uygulanmıştır. Tarla çalışmalarında bitki boyu, başak boyu, bin tane ağırlığı, tane verimi ve kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir. Laboratuvar koşulunda yapılan incelemelerde hormon uygulamasının hormon, hormon dozu ve hormon saat uygulamalarının genel olarak kök özellikleri ve sürgün özellikleri üzerine önemli etki yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Yapılan önemlilik testlerinde kök sayısı üzerine en yüksek değerler IAA50 doz uygulamasında ve 6 saat süreyle uygulamada, kök uzunluğunda ise GA3 hormonu 25 mg ve 3 saat hormon uygulamasında, kök ağırlığında GA3 ve IAA 25 mg 3 saat uygulamasında bulunmuştur. Sürgün uzunluğunda en yüksek değer GA3 25 mg 6 saat uygulamasında, sürgün ağırlığında ise GA3 25 mg 6 saatte en yüksek değerler bulunmuştur. Buğdayda kök özellikleri yönünden IAA, 25 mg ve 3-6 saat uygulamalarının en etkili olduğu, sürgün özellikleri bakımında ise GA3 25 mg ve 6 saat uygulamalarının en iyi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tarla koşullarında yapılan hormon ve hormon dozu uygulamalarında en yüksek tane verimi IAA ve BAP uygulamasında (BAP: 775,31 kg/da, IAA: 767,28 kg/da) elde edilirken, doz olarak en yüksek değer 50, 75, 25 doz uygulamalarında elde edilmiştir. Hormon uygulanmayan parseller istatistiki olarak en düşük değerleri vermiştir. Kalite özellikleri incelendiğinde hormon uygulamasının önemli kalite kriterlerinden olan normal sedim ve protein oranı üzerine önemli derecede olumlu etki yaptığı belirlenmiştir. The study was carried out in the experimental area of TNKU Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in the growing season of 2019-2020. Bread wheat varieties, which have different maturing characteristics such as Golia, Lider and Rebelde in the study were used as materials.Three different hormones (IAA, BAP, GA3), four different doses (0,25,50,75) and four different hours (3,6 and 9 hours)in laboratory conditions were applied to the seeds of three bread wheat varieties. In laboratory conditions, root number, root length, root weight, shoot length and shoot weight were examined. In field conditions, three different hormones (IAA, BAP, GA3) and four different hormone doses (0,25,50,75 mg) were applied to the growing plants. Plant height, spike height, thousand grain weight, grain yield and quality characteristics were investigated in field conditions. According to the results obtained in the laboratory condition, it was determined that hormone application, hormone dose and hormone hour applications had a significant effect on root and shoot characteristics The highest values on the number of roots were obtained with the application of 50 mg dose of IAA hormone for 6 hours. The highest values in root length are at 25 mg dose and 3 hours application of GA3 hormone.In root weight, the highest values were obtained in 25 mg dose and 3 hour applications of GA3 and IAA hormones. While the highest value in shoot length was obtained in 25 mg 6 hours application of GA3 hormone, it was found in 25 mg dose and 6 hour application of GA3 hormone in shoot weight. In terms of root properties of wheat, 25 mg dose and 3-6 hour applications of IAA hormone and 25 mg dose and 6 hour application of GA3 hormone were determined to be the most effective in terms of shoot properties. While the highest grain yield is obtained in IAA and BAP applications (BAP: 775.31 kg/da, IAA: 767.28 kg/da) in hormone and hormone dose applications performed in field conditions, the highest value as hormone dose is obtained in 50, 75, 25 dose applications, respectively. Plants that were not treated with hormones gave statistically the lowest values. When the quality characteristics are examined, it has been determined that hormone applications have a significant increasing effect on normal sediment and protein ratio, which are important quality criteria.

Çalışmada, 58 sentetik buğday hattı ve 6 ekmeklik buğday çeşidi materyal olarak kullanılmıştır (Çizelge 3.1). Sentetik ekmeklik buğday hatları CIMMYT den sağlanmıştır. Denemede standart olarak Selimiye, Flamura 85, Pehlivan, Aldane, Bereket ve Gelibolu ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri kullanılmıştır. Denemelerde ekmeklik buğday genotipleri 8x8 kısmen dengeli latis deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuştur. Denemelerde her genotip 2 metrelik sıralara 4 sıra olarak metrekareye 500 tohum olacak şekilde elle ekilmiştir. Çalışmada, tane verimi, bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, kışa dayanım, stoma sayısı, boyu ve eni, bitki örtüsü, sıcaklığı, yaprak klorofil içeriği, yatma oranı ve açısı, sarı pas, mumsuluk, külleme, septorya, kök çürüklüğü, protein oranı, gluten, gluten indeksi, sedimentasyon, gecikmeli sedimentasyon, embriyo kararması, süne emgi oranı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca incelenen genotiplerde gliadin band desenleri belirlenerek genotipik farklılıkları ortaya konmuştur. Elde edilen verilere göre buğday genotiplerinde tane verimi ilk yıl 256,00-642,00 kg/da, ikinci yıl ise 200,00-900,00 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. İlk yıl en yüksek dekara tane verimi 642,00 kg/da ile ZFSN 4, HRSN 7-12 ve HRSN 7-6 da elde edilmiştir. En düşük verim ise 256,00 kg ile ZFSN 30 ve 266,00 kg ile ZFSN 16 da bulunmuştur. İkinci yıl en yüksek tane verimi 900,00 kg ile HRSN 1-14 ve 833,33 kg ile HRSN 1-11 de elde edilirken, en düşük verim ise 200,00 kg/da ile HRSN 2-14 ve 233,00 kg /da ile HRSN 14-2 de elde edilmiştir. İlk yıl ZFSN 4, HRSN 7-12, HRSN 7-6, ZFSN 33, HRSN 11-11, HRSN 12-14, HRSN 12-9, HRSN 10-9, ZFSN 21, HRSN 2-16, HRSN 4-10, ZFSN 5, ZFSN 31, HRSN 1-14, ZFSN 28, 500,00 kg/da üzerinde dekara tane verimi ile bölge için ümitvar genotiplerdir. İkinci yıl ise, HRSN 1-14, HRSN 1-11, ZFSN 7, HRSN 11-14, HRSN 13-2'nin verimleri 700,00 kg/da'ın üzerinde olup Flamura 85 sentetik çeşidini geçmişlerdir. ZFSN 24, Pehlivan çeşidi, HRSN 12-11, HRSN 11-11, HRSN 14-18, HRSN 15-13 hatları Aldane çeşidinden daha yüksek verim vermişlerdir. Her iki yılda da dekara tane verim yönünden bazı sentetik buğday genotipleri bölge ortalamasına göre oldukça düşük değerler verirken bazı genotipler standart çeşitlerle aynı hatta daha yüksek tane verimi vermişlerdir. Trakya bölgesi'nde önemli sorunlardan olan kök çürüklüğü yönünden en düşük değerler ZFSN 3, ZFSN 8, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 26, HRSN 13-17 ve ZFSN 6 sentetik buğday genotiplerinde belirlenmiştir. Buğday genotipleri abiyotik stres faktörleri, biyotik stres faktörleri, kalite karakterleri ve kök çürüklüğü yönünden incelendiğinde, abiyotik stres faktörleri, HRSN 13-2, HRSN 12-11, HRSN 15-13, HRSN 12-9, ZFSN 16, ZFSN 7 ve HRSN 11-14; biyotik stres faktörleri HRSN 13-9, HRSN 13-17, ZFSN 7, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 32, HRSN 9-7, HRSN 1-14, HRSN 10-9, HRSN 1-6, HRSN 11-11 ve ZFSN 24, HRSN 4-10, ZFSN 22, HRSN 14-18 ve ZFSN 16; kalite özellikleri ZFSN 2, HRSN 14-10, ZFSN 30, HRSN 6-8, HRSN 14-18, HRSN 14-2 ve HRSN 15-6 ve kök boğazı çürüklüğü yönünden ZFSN 3, ZFSN 8, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 26, HRSN 13-17 ve ZFSN 6 en üstün genotipler olarak belirlenmiştir. İncelenen kriterler birlikte değerlendirildiğinde, HRSN 14-18, ZFSN 16, ZFSN 7 ve ZFSN 6-2 sentetik buğday genotipleri en ümitvar genotipler olarak bulunmuşlardır. In this study, 58 synthetic wheat lines and 6 bread wheat varieties were used as materials (Table 3.1). Synthetic bread wheat lines were provided from CIMMYT. Selimiye, Flamura 85, Pehlivan, Aldane, Bereket and Gelibolu bread wheat varieties were used as standard in the experiment. In this study, bread wheat genotypes were established according to 8x8 partially balanced lattice experiment design with 3 replications. In the experiments, each genotype was sown by hand at the rate of 500 seeds per square meter and was 2 m in length with 4 rows. In this study, grain yield, plant height, spike length, winter resistance, stoma number, length and width, plant covered temperature, leaf chlorophyll content, lodging rate and angle, yellow rust, waxiness, powdery mildew, septoria, root rot, protein ratio, gluten rate, gluten index, sedimentation, retarted sedimentation, black point, sunny pest damage rate were investigated. In addition, genotypic differences were determined by determining gliadin band patterns. According to the obtained data, grain yields of wheat genotypes ranged between 256.00-642.00 kg/da in the first year and 200.00-900.00 kg/da in the second year. The highest grain yield per decare was obtained with ZFSN 4, HRSN 7-12 and HRSN 7-6 lines with 642.00 kg/da in the first year. The lowest grain yield was found in ZFSN 30 with 256.00 kg/da and ZFSN 16 with 266.00 kg/da. The highest grain yield was obtained with HRSN 1-14 with 900.00 kg/da and HRSN 1-11 with 833.33 kg/da, while the lowest yield was HRSN 2-14 with 200.00 kg/da and HRSN 14-2 with 233.00 kg/da synthetic wheat lines in the second year. ZFSN 4, HRSN 7-12, HRSN 7-6, ZFSN 33, HRSN 11-11, HRSN 12-14, HRSN 12-9, HRSN 10-9, ZFSN 21, HRSN 2-16, HRSN 4-10, ZFSN 5, ZFSN 31, HRSN 1-14 and ZFSN 28 lines were found as promising genotypes for grain yields of more than 500.00 kg / da in the region in the first year. In the second year of the study, HRSN 1-14, HRSN 1-11, ZFSN 7, HRSN 11-14 and HRSN 13-2 synthetic lines having a grain yield of more than 700.00 kg were obtained the higher yields than Flamura 85 varieties. ZFSN 24, HRSN 12-11, HRSN 11-11, HRSN 14-18, HRSN 15-13 lines produced higher yields than Aldane. In terms of grain yield per decare, some synthetic wheat genotypes obtained very low grain yield compared to the region average, while some synthetic wheat genotypes yielded similar or higher grain yields with standard varieties. When genotypes were examined in terms of root rot, which is one of the important problems in the Thrace region, the lowest values were determined in ZFSN 3, ZFSN 8, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 26, HRSN 13-17 and ZFSN 6 synthetic wheat genotypes. When wheat genotypes examined, abiotic stress factors, biotic stress factors, quality characteristics and root rot were evaluated in terms of wheat genotypes; HRSN 13-2, HRSN 12-11, HRSN 15-13, HRSN 12-9, ZFSN 16, ZFSN 7 and HRSN 11-14 lines in terms of abiotic stress, HRSN 13-9, HRSN 13-17, ZFSN 7, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 32, HRSN 9-7, HRSN 1-14, HRSN 10-9, HRSN 1-6, HRSN 11-11, ZFSN 24, HRSN 4-10, ZFSN 22, HRSN 14-18, ZFSN 16 lines in terms of biotic stress, ZFSN 2, HRSN 14-10, ZFSN 30, HRSN 6-8, HRSN 14-18, HRSN 14-2 and HRSN 15-6 lines in terms of quality characters, and ZFSN 3, ZFSN 8, HRSN 6-2, ZFSN 26, HRSN 13-17 and ZFSN 6 in terms of root rot were determined as the most superior genotypes. When the examined characters are evaluated together, HRSN 14-18, ZFSN 16, ZFSN 7 and ZFSN 6-2 synthetic wheat genotypes were found to be the most promising genotypes. 157

Araştırma, 2016-2017 yetiştirme döneminde Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Deneme Alanı'nda tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre yürütülmüştür. 2016 yılında ekimi yapılan Pehlivan, Sana, Tina, Tekirdağ, Gelibolu, Nina, Flamura-85, Saban, Kate A-1 buğday genotiplerine Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 22, Lr 24, Lr 34 kahverengi pas dayanıklılık genlerini içeren izogenik hatlardan baba olarak kullanılarak melezleme yapılmıştır. Araştırmada ekmeklik buğday genotipleri, Lr genleri içeren izogenik hatlar ve bunların melezlenmesi sonucu elde edilen F2 populasyonları deneme alanına her genotip için 2 sıra olmak üzere 5 metrelik sıralara 3 tekrarlamalı olarak ekilmiştir. Ekim sırasında denemenin başına, sonuna ve her 10 sırada bir olmak üzere kahverengi pasa hassas olan Morocco genotipi ekilmiştir. Deneme alanındaki bitkilerde hastalık değerlendirmeleri 2 dönemde (erken - geç) Modifiye edilmiş Cobb skalası (Peterson et al. 1948) baz alınarak yapılmıştır. Tarla koşullarında yapılan hastalık okumalarına göre ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri ve Lr 9 ve Lr 24 izogenik hatları arasındaki tüm melez kombinasyonlarının kahverengi pasa dayanıklılık özelliği gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Buna karşın bu üç ekmeklik buğday çeşidi ile Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 22 ve Lr 34 dayanıklılık genlerini taşıyan izogenik hatlar arasında yapılan melez dölleri ise kahverengi pasa karşı hassas özellik göstermiştir. Flamura-85, Pehlivan, Saban ekmeklik buğday genotipleri ve 6 farklı kahverengi pasa dayanıklılık geni taşıyan izogenik hatlar arasındaki melez popülasyonlarda yapılan SSR analiz sonuçlarına göre Lr 9 ve Lr 19 genini tüm bireylerin taşıdığı belirlenmiştir. Lr 22 geninin ise F2 bitkilerinde farklı oranlarda aktarıldığı belirlenmiştir. Lr 24 geni ise Flamura çeşidi ile yapılan melezlerin tümünde, Saban melezlerinde ise % 33 oranında aktarılmıştır. Lr 34 geni melez populasyonlarda ise melezlenen buğday genotipine göre farklı oranlarda bulunmuştur. Elde edilen veriler Trakya Bölgesi için özellikle Lr 9 ve Lr 24 dayanıklılık geninin önemli seleksiyon kriteri olduğunu göstermektedir. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri ile Lr 22 geni bulunan izogenik hat arasındaki melez kombinasyonlarda Lr 22 geninin bulunmaması bu gen yönünden daha ayrıntılı çalışmalar yapılması gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Yapılan melez popülasyonlarda Lr 14, Lr 19 ve Lr 34 kahverengi pasa dayanıklılık genleri bulunmasına rağmen yüksek oranda hastalık oluşması Trakya Bölgesi' nde hastalık ırkları yönünden önem taşımadığını göstermektedir. The research was carried out according to the randomized block trial design in the Field Crops Experimental Area of the Faculty of Agriculture of Namık Kemal University in 2016-2017 cultivation period. Pehlivan, Sana, Tina, Tekirdağ, Gallipoli, Nina, F-85, Saban, Kate A-1 bread wheat varieties and brown rust resistance genes Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 22, Lr 24, Lr 34 (father) isogenic lines crossed. In this study, F2 populations obtained as a result of cross-breeding wheat genotypes and isogenic lines containing Lr genes were planted in 5-row rows with 3 replications for each genotype. In the planting of F2 plants, Morocco genotype, which is sensitive to brown rust, was planted in every 10th order. Disease evaluations in the plants in the trial area were done in 2 periods (early and late) based on the modified Cobb scale (Peterson et al. 1948). It was determined that all hybrid combinations between bread wheat varieties and isogenic lines with Lr 9 and Lr 24 genes showed leaf rust resistance according to the disease readings in field conditions. On the other hand, hybrid progenies between bread wheat varieties and isogenic lines carrying Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 22 and Lr 34 showed sensitive to leaf rust. According to the results of SSR analysis performed in the hybrid populations between three bread wheat genotypes and the isogenic line carrying 6 different brown rust resistance genes, it was determined that all F2 progenies carried Lr 9, Lr 19 genes. The Lr 22 gene was found at different rates in F2 plants of the hybrid combinations. The Lr 24 brown rust gene was transferred to all of the hybrid offspring made with the Flamura cultivar, while this ratio was 33% in the Saban hybrids. The Lr 34 gene was found to be different in the hybrid populations compared to the hybridized wheat genotype. The data obtained indicate that Lr 9 and Lr 24 leaf rust resistance genes are important selection criteria for Thrace region. The lack of the Lr 22 gene in the hybrid combinations between the bread wheat varieties and the isogenic line with the Lr 22 gene showed that more detailed studies should be carried out for this gene. Althoug the transfer of Lr 14, Lr 19, and Lr 34 brown rust resistance genes in hybrid populations, high rates of disease in F2 plants of these combinations indicate that these genes are not important in terms of disease races in Thrace region. 59

Çalışmada ekmeklik buğday genotipleri erkenci, orta ve geççi olarak üç farklı olgunlaşma grubunda olarak 1 Kasım, 15 Kasım ve 30 Kasım tarihlerinde olmak üzere üç farklı ekim zamanında ekilmiştir. Bu çeşitlerin tohumları ekim öncesi 4 farklı tohum ilacı ile ilaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada materyal olarak Esperia, Genesi ve Anapo çeşitleri kullanılmıştır. Çeşitler 3 farklı ekim zamanın da 4 farklı tohum ilacı (Prothioconazole+tebuconazole, Carboxin+thiram Prochloraz+tiriticonazole ve kontrol) uygulamasından sonra ekilmiştir. Çalışmada ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerin de bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı, bitki tane verimi, hektolitre ağırlığı, kök ve kök boğazı çürüklüğü, başak tane verimi, sedimentasyon, gluten, gluten indeks, protein oranı, süne emgi oranı ve embiryo kararması incelenmiştir. Dekara tane verimi üzerine ekim zamanı, çeşit, ilaç, çeşit*ilaç interaksiyonu istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Farklı ekim zamanında en yüksek tane verimi 491,24 kg ile 15 Kasım da yapılan ekimden elde edilmiştir. En düşük tane verimi ise dekara yaklaşık 130 kg azalma ile ilaç uygulanmamış alanlardan elde edilmiştir. Kök çürüklüğü üzerine farklı tohum ilaçı uygulaması etkisi istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Farklı ekim zamanında en düşük kök çürüklüğü %2,714 ile Prothioconazole+tebuconazole ilaçlama uygulamasından olmuş, bunu %3,31 ile Prochloraz+tiriticonazoleile ilaç uygulaması izlemiştir. En yüksek kök çürüklüğü ise en erken ekim 01 Kasım da yapılan ekimde %3,64 ile olmuştur. Elde edilen veriler ekim zamanının ii erken yapılmasının kök çürüklüğünü artırdığını göstermektedir. Dört farklı ilaçlamada ise en yüksek kök çürüklüğü %5,59 ile ilaç uygulanmayan parsellerde gözlenmiştir. En düşük kök çürüklüğü ise sırasıyla %1,96, %2,10 ve %2,89 kök çürüklüğü ile aynı istatistik grupta ye alan Prothioconazole+tebuconazole, Carboxin+thiram ve Prochloraz+tiriticonazole ile ilaç uygulamasında elde edilmiştir. İncelenen başak uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane verimi, gluten oranı, gluten indeksi, sedimantasyon oranı, protein oranı, süne emgi oranı ve embiryo kararması üzerine ekim zamanı, çeşit ve tohum ilacı kullanımının önemli düzeyde etkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Three bread wheat varieties (Anapo, Esperia and Genesi) which were early, medium and late in the study were sown at three different sowing times on October 20, November 5 and November 24. Seeds of these varieties were sown after spraying with 4 different seed pods (Prothioconazole+tebuconazole, Carboxin+thiram Prochloraz+tiriticonazoleand control). In the study, plant height, spike length, grain yield per decar, test weight, root and crown rot, grain yield per spike, sedimentation value, gluten value, gluten index, protein ratio, sunn pest damage rate rate and black point on grain were investigated in bread wheat cultivars. The sowing time, genoypes and seed treatment were found to be significantly effective on spike length, number of seeds per spike, grain yield per spike, gluten ratio, gluten index, sedimentation rate, protein ratio, sunn pest damage rate and black point in grain. In the study, the effect of sowing time, seed, seed treatment, and seed x treat treatments on decar yield was statistically significant. At the time of different sowing the highest grain yield was obtained from October 5th with 491.24 kg. Bitkilerden 2 dönemde (Erken- Geç) hastalık okumaları Modifiye Cobb skalasına göre yapılmıştır. NKÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri bölümüne ait 20 ekmeklik buğday F2 hatları Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 24, Lr 34 ve Lr 35 genlerinin taşıyıp taşımadıklarının belirlenmesi amacıyla CIMMYT-Meksika'dan sağlanan izogenik hatlar kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kahverengi pasa dayanıklılığın moleküler karakterizasyonu için Basit Dizi Tekrarları (SSR) analizlerlerinde 6 SSR markırı (J13, Xgwm146, Gb, J09, Lr35 ve csLV34) kullanılarak F2 popülasyonları Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 24, Lr 34 ve Lr 35 genleri yönünden incelenmiştir. 2016-2017 yetiştirme dönemi bölgede iklim koşulları nedeni ile kahverengi pas yönünden tarla koşullarında önemli bir hastalık bölge düzeyinde gözlenmemiştir. Fakülte deneme alanında da 12 F2 popülasyonunda hastalık gözlenmezken Szala/Genesis melezinde 20R değeri gözlenmiştir. Elde edilen verilere bakıldığında ekmeklik buğday F2 döllerinin kahverengi pasa dayanıklılığının önemli düzeyde farklı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bazı F2 dölleri dayanıklılık gösterirken, bazı F2 döllerinde ise dayanımın düşük olduğu gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, SSR markırları ile yapılan analizler sonucunda, F2 döllerinin tümü Lr 9 ve Lr 24 genini taşımamaktadır. Lr14 genini 16 ve Lr35 genini 14 tane ekmeklik buğday F2 dölleri taşımaktadır. Lr 19 ve Lr 34 genlerini sırası ile 3 ve 5 tane ekmeklik buğday F2 dölleri taşımaktadır. Elde edilen verilere göre kahverengi pas çalışmalarında Lr 9 genine ve Lr 24 genine dayanıklılığın öncelikli olarak dikkate alınması gerektiği ortaya koymaktadır. Yapılacak çalışmalarda F2 de daha fazla bitki ile çalışmanın elde edilecek sonuçların daha sağlıklı olmasını sağlayacaktır. The study was carried out between 2016 and 2017 according to randomized block trial design and 20 F2 hybrid population was used as material. The brown rust level in the plants was determined according to the Modified Cobb scale. The study was carried out in the experimental field and laboratory of the NKU Agricultural Faculty Field Crops Department and the isogenic lines provided from CIMMYT-Mexico were used to determine whether the Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 24, Lr 34 and Lr 35 genes were carried in 20 populated wheat F2 populations. SSR analysis was performed for the molecular characterization of the brown pasa durability and the F2 populations Lr 9, Lr 14, Lr 19, Lr 24, Lr 34 and Lr 35 with the 6 SSR markers (J13, Xgwm146, Gb, J09, Lr35 and csLV34) . While no disease was observed in the 12 F2 population on the experimental area, the 20R value was observed in the Szala / Genesis hybrid. When examined in the obtained data, it is seen that the tolerance of the wheat F2 popülations to leaf rust disease is considerably different. As a result of the analysis with the SSR markers, all of the F2 populations have carry the Lr 9 and Lr 24 genes. In the fourteen F2 populations, Lr 14, Lr 16 and Lr 35 genes were identified. The genes of Lr 19 and Lr 34 was seen 3-5 wheat F2 populations. The obtained data suggest that the Lr 9 gene and Lr 24 genes should be considered as important selection criteria in leaf rust studies. In the work to be done, working with more plants in F2 will make the results more beneficial. 57

Markanalık buğday (Triticum durum L.) genotipleri arasında çoklu dizi Line tester yöntemine göre yapılan melezlemeler sonucunda (4 makarnalık buğday (Triticum durum L.) çeşidi ile 7 makarnalık buğday (Triticum durum L.) elde edilen 28 melez kombinasyonda değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Melez ortalamaları ise % 37.00 olarak hesaplanmıştır. En düşük hasat indeksi NZFM-8 x Zolotko melezinde, en yüksek hasat indeksi değeri ise NZFM-8 x Cham-3 melezinde elde edilmiştir.Yüksek tane verimi için yüksek hasat indeksini temel alan bir seleksiyon temel alındığında NZFM 9, Pitegora ve Levante yüksek hasat indeksine sahip çeşit geliştirmek içim uygun ebeveyn olarak göze çarpmaktadır. Melezlerde ise NZFM-7 x Levante, NZFM-8 x Levante ve NZFM-13 x Pitegora kombinasyonları gösterdikleri yüksek ÖKK, yüksek heterosis ve heterobeltiosis değerleri açısından üzerinde durulması gereken melez kombinasyonlarıdır. Araştırma Tekirdağ ili ekolojik koşulları altında 2014 ve 2015 yıllarında, Hayrabolu, Malkara, Süleymanpaşa, Şarköy, Saray, Ergene, Marmaraereğlisi, Çorlu, Muratlı, Kapaklı ve Çerkezköy olmak üzere on bir farklı ilçede yürütülmüştür. Flamura 85, Esperia, Dropia, Golia, Sagittario, Rumeli, Nota, Alka, Pehlivan, Tina, İveta, Selimiye, Nina, Genesis, Yubileyneya 100, Anapo, TT 601, Quality, Enola, Andino, Guardalupe, Krasunia, Colfiorito, LG 59, Jubilernka olmak üzere 25 adet sertifikalı ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada; kalite özellikleri olarak glüten, glüten indeks, normal sedimantasyon, beklemeli sedimantasyon, süne emgi oranı, embriyo kararması oranı, protein oranı ve tane verim değerleri incelenmiştir.Tüm çeşitlerin ortak değerlendirilmesi, her bir lokasyonda ki çeşitlerin ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmesi ve bölgede en yaygın olarak yetiştirilen iki çeşidin değerlendirmesi olarak üç farklı şekilde değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Tüm çeşitlerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda Süleymanpaşa ilinde tane verimi 751,667-351,667 kg/da, önemli kalite kriterlerinden sedimantasyonun 72-20 ml, glüten 35-14, protein oranı % 14,40-9,90, süne emgisi 2,2-0,5; embriyo kararması 4-0,15 arasında değişmiştir.Her bir ilçe ayrı ayrı değerlendirildiğinde verim yönünden Çorlu, Marmaraereğlisi, Malkara, Muratlı ve Süleymanpaşa lokasyonlarının en yüksek verimli, Kapaklı, Çerkezköy ilçelerinin ise en düşük verimli ilçeler olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kalite özellikleri dikkate alındığında Çorlu, Muratlı, Ergene, Hayrabolu ve Süleymanpaşa ilçelerinde daha iyi kalite özelliklerinin elde edildiği, buna karşın Kapaklı, Şarköy ve Saray ilçelerinde ise kalite yönünden en düşük değerlerin alındığı belirlenmiştir. Diğer ilçeler orta gurupta yer almıştır.Bölgede yetiştirilen ve kalite özelliği iyi olan iki çeşit dikkate alındığında, çeşitlerin kalite özellikleri yetiştiği lokasyona göre önemli oranda değişim göstermiştir. Çalışmada farklı dönemlerde ıslah edilmiş ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri ve Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Tarafından kombinasyon ıslahı ile elde edilen F2 döllerinden anter kültürü ile geliştirilen double haploid hatlar ve bölgede yetiştirilen çeşitler materyal olarak kullanılmştır. Çalışmada fiziksel özellikler olarak; bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başaktaki dane sayısı, başak dane ağırlığı, başak ağırlığı, dane verimi ve başaklanma gün sayısı incelenmiş ve bunların hepsi de istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Araştırılan özellikler bakımından kalite analizlerinde ise nem, süne zararı, embriyo kararması, protein oranı, gluten ve gluten indeks, sedimantasyon ve bekletilmiş sedimantasyon incelenmiş ve bu özelliklerin tamamı istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Yapılan çalışmada gerek kalite gerekse fiziksel özellikler bakımından istenilen değerler veren double haploid melez Flamura85/Golia hattı tespit edilmiştir. In the study different periods have been breeding bread wheat varieties and Namık Kemal University established using the Faculty of Agronomy Department developed by anther culture of the resulting F2 progeny with a combination of breeding by double haploid as materials and their physical and quality characteristics of the double haploid lines derived from hybrids were examined. In the study the physical properties; plant height, spike length, grain piece in spike, spike grain weight, spike weight, grain yield and heading examined the number of days and all of them were statistically significant as well. In terms of quality of analysis investigated the characteristics of moisture, stink bug damage, embryo darkening, protein content, gluten and gluten index, sedimentation and suspended sedimentation was examined and found to be statistically significant all of these characters. In this study, desired values of the terms of quality and psysical properties that are resulted; hybrid double haploid line Flamura85/Golia was determined.

Çalışma 2010-2011 yetiştirme döneminde Namık kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü deneme alanında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada farklı dönemde ıslah edilmiş 36 ekmeklik buğday çeşit ve hattı materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, kalite özellikleri olarak bin tane ağrılığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, protein oranı, gluten, sedimentasyon ve beklemeli sedimentasyon değerleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca ekmeklik buğday genotiplerinin kalite özelliği ve protein band desenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak için SDS PAGE analizi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, Denemeye alınan çeşitlerde kalite özelliklerinde bin tane ağırlığı yönünden Selimiye, Montchill, Peh x Kat., BBBD-7 hattı ve Aldane, hektolitre ağırlığı yönünden Marmara 86, Pehlivan, Peh x Kat hattı, Selimiye ve YP 47, protein oranı yönünden YP 69, YP 46, YP 70, YP 17 ve Bezostoja 1, gluten Yönünden YP 70, YP 17, YP 46, YP 19 ve Bezostoja 1, sedimantasyon değeri yönünden YP 17, Bezostoja 1, Aldane, YP 19 ve Sakarya 75 ve b. sedimentasyon yönünden YP 17 Bezoztoja 1, YP 19 Krasunia ve Sagittario genotipleri üstün özellik göstermişlerdir. Kalite özelliklerinde genotiplerin gösterdiği değerler incelendiğinde bin tane ağırlığı ve hektolitre ağırlığının yüksek kalite özelliğinin belirlenmesinde etkili karakterler olmadığı görülmüştür. Bu iki karakter daha çok genotiplerin yüksek un verimi özelliği yönüyle seleksiyonunda yararlanılabilir. Kalite özellikleri yönünden protein, gluten ve sedimentasyon değeri önemli tarımsal karakterlerdir ve genotiplerin geliştirilmesinde seleksiyon amacıyla etkin olarak kullanılabileceği sonucu elde edilmiştir. Thousand kernel weight and test weight were not found to be effective for identifying the high quality characters. These two characters could be used for higher flour yield selection. Brachypodium distachyon, serin mevsim buğdaygilleri için yeni bir model bitkidir. Bu çalışmada Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Brachypodium koleksiyonunda bulunan ülkemizin farklı bölgelerinden toplanmış 59 aksesyon materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Flow sitometri ile yapılan çekirdek DNA analizleri sonucunda 48 aksesyonun B. distachyon, 11 aksesyonun ise B. hybridum olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, koleksiyonu oluşturan aksesyonlar morfolojik ve moleküler yöntemler ile analiz edilerek mevcut genetik çeşitlilik belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla yapılan morfolojik karakterizasyonda 17 morfolojik özellik incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda; aksesyonların bitki boylarının 24,7 cm, bayrak yaprak ayası boyunun 5,6 cm, bayrak yaprak ayası eninin 4,5 mm, biyokütlenin (kök hariç) 4,5, g başaklı sap sayısının 34 adet, başaksız sap sayısının 4 adet, bitki başına başakçık sayısının 111 adet, bitki başına tohum sayısının 372 tohum/bitki, bitkilerin sahip olduğu tohum ağırlığının 1,95 g ve bin tane ağırlığının 5,12 g olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca tohumların çimlenme süresinin 15 gün, bitkilerin başak çıkarma süresinin 125 gün ve çiçeklenme süresinin 136 gün olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bitkilerin genel olarak yeşil renkte, tüylü yapıda ve dik formda olduğu, ancak bazı aksesyonlarda yatık ve yarı dik formların da bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Flow sitometri ile yapılan çekirdek DNA analizlerinde B. distachyon ve B. hybridum aksesyonları için ortalama çekirdek DNA içeriklerinin sırasıyla 0,743 pg/2C, ve 1,431 pg/2C olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda B. distachyon aksesyonlarının sahip olduğu çekirdek DNA içeriklerinin bitkilerin toplandığı coğrafi bölgeden etkilendiği, B. hybridum aksesyonlarının ise etkilenmediği tespit edilmiştir. Çekirdek DNA içerikleri dikkate alınarak hazırlanan dendogramda aksesyonların 2 gruba ayrıldığı, ilk grupta sadece bir aksesyon yer alırken diğerlerinin ikinci grupta toplandığı görülmüştür. Gruplar incelendiğinde aynı alt gruplarda yer alan aksesyonların birçok morfolojik özelliklerinin ortak olduğu belirlenmiştir. 32 B. distachyon aksesyonuna ait 142 birey ile 11 SSR primeri kullanılarak yapılan çalışmada 99 allel saptanmıştır. Primer başına allel sayısının 3-15 arasında değiştiği, belirlenen bölgelere göre ortalama allel sayısının 1.Bölge'de 13,67 allel/bölge , 2.Bölge'de ise 11 allel/bölge olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmada polimorfizm oranının %100, allelik zenginliğin (NA) 6,302, gen çeşitliliğinin 0,645, gözlenen (H0) ve beklenen (He) heterozigotluk düzeylerinin ise sırası ile 0,0116-0,0366 ve 0,4111–0,8645 değerleri arasında değiştiği hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada ayrıca 9'u 1.Bölge'ye, 7'si 2.Bölge'ye özgü 16 özgün allel belirlenmiştir. Bölgeler için hesaplanan genetik farklılık (FST) değeri 0,19324, ortalama PIC değeri 0,60 (0,35-0,84) ve genetik uzaklık 0,590 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Genetik uzaklık sonuçlarına göre hazırlanan dendogramda örneklerin genetik çeşitlilik bakımından 2 grup oluşturduğu, aynı aksesyona ait örneklerin farklı alt gruplarda, farklı bölgelerden toplanan örneklerin aynı alt grupta yer alabildiği görülmüştür. Dendogramdan elde edilen sonuçlara göre BL14, BL13, BL15, BL17, BL19 ile ED1 ve AD1 bireylerinin en uzak akraba, bu bireylerin ait olduğu aksesyonlara bakıldığında Bd94 ile Bd3 ve Kah aksesyonlarının genetik açıdan birbirine uzak, Bd3 ile Kah aksesyonlarının birbirine yakın akraba olduğu görülmektedir. Bu durum aksesyonlar arasında ve aksesyon içinde genetik çeşitlilik olduğunu, ancak görülen genetik çeşitlilik ile örneklerin toplandığı coğrafi bölge arasında 11 markörün kullanıldığı bu çalışmada anlamlı bir ilişkinin bulunmadığını göstermektedir. Yapılan Faktöriyel Benzerlik Analizi Grafiği incelendiğinde, aksesyonların iki gruba ayrıldığı, ancak gruplar arasında tam olarak kesin bir sınırın bulunmadığı, arada her iki gruba ait bireylerden oluşan bir ara grup bulunduğu görülmüştür. Farklı genetik yapıda olan bireyleri belirlemek için yapılan model-based Bayesian analizinde de genotipler iki gruba ayrılmış ancak gruplara diğer gruptan yabancı katılımlar ve her iki grubun genetik özelliklerini taşıyan genotipler belirlenmiştir. Buna göre aynı coğrafik bölgeden toplanan örneklerin genetik benzerlik bakımından farklı gruplarda yer alabileceği, örneklerin toplandığı coğrafi bölge ile genetik çeşitlilik arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir. Aynı zamanda coğrafi bölge içerisinde de genetik çeşitliliğin önemli düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir Rakım, çekirdek DNA içeriği ve morfolojik özellikler arasında korelasyon analizi yapılmış çok sayıda negatif ve pozitif korelasyonlar tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca çekirdek DNA içeriği ile rakımın morfolojik özellikler üzerindeki etkilerini belirleyebilmek için çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analize göre; DNA miktarı arttıkça bayrak yaprak ayası eni ve boyu, tohum ağırlığı, bin tane ağırlığı, bitkideki tüylülük derecesi azalırken; çimlenme, başaklanma ve çiçeklenme sürelerinin arttığı görülmüştür. Rakım arttıkça başaklı sap sayısının arttığı, çekirdek DNA içeriğinin ise azaldığı belirlenmiştir. Yapılan bu çalışmada, serin mevsim buğdaygilleri için yeni bir model sistem olarak kabul edilmiş olan B.distachyon'a ait ülkemizin farklı coğrafik bölgelerinden toplanarak oluşturulmuş olan genetik kaynak koleksiyonunun sahip olduğu genetik çeşitlilik incelenmiştir. Morfolojik ve moleküler yöntemler ile yapılan incelemelerde koleksiyonun büyük bir varyasyona sahip olduğu saptanmıştır., Namık Kemal Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Tarla Bitkileri Bölümünde oluşturulmuş olan Brachypodium distachyon genetik kaynak koleksiyonu yüksek bir morfolojik ve genetik varyasyona sahiptir. Bu yüzden ülkemizde kültürü yapılan ve en önemli bitki guruplarını oluşturan tahıllar ile buğdaygil yem bitkilerinin önemli bazı tarımsal karakterlerinin (hastalık ve zararlılara dayanıklılık, verim ve kalite gibi) incelenmesi, bu karakterleri kontrol eden gen bölgelerinin haritalanması, moleküler markörlerin geliştirilmesi ve genlerin klonlanması gibi çalışmalarda son derece yararlı olacaktır. Oluşturulan B. distachyon kolleksiyonunun buğdayın orijinlendiği coğrafi bölgeden olması koleksiyonun önemini daha da arttırmaktadır. In this study, 59 Brachypodium accessions collected from different geographic regions of our country which are in the collection at Namık Kemal University Field Crops Department are used as plant material. Based on the results of nuclear DNA content analysis which were made using Flow cytometry, 48 of the accessions were determined to be B. distachyon while 11 of the accessions were determined to be B. hybridum. In order to determine genetic diversity within B. distachyon collection which is the important one as model species, accessions further characterized morphologically and by using molecular techniques.In the study which is conducted, 17 morphologic features are analysed. As a result of this analyse; it is determined that plant length of accessions are 24,7 cm, length of flag leaf is 5,6 cm, width of flag leaf is 4,5 mm, biomass (except the root) is 4,5 g, number of stem with anther is 34, number of stem without anther is 4, number of spikelet for each plant is 111, number of seed for each plant is 372 seed/plant , weight of seed that the plants have are 1,95 g. and the weight of one thousand is 5,12 g. Also, it is monitored that the duration of seed germination is 15 days, the duration of plants to have anther is 125 days and the duration of blossom is 136 days. It is stated that the plants are generally green, with wooly structure and have an upright form but in some accessions leaning and half upright forms are also found. Based on the results of nuclear DNA content analysis made using flow cytometry, mean nuclear DNA contents of B. distachyon and B. hybridium were determined as 0,743 pg/2C and 1,431 pg/2C respectively. Differences among mean DNA content of the accessions of B. distachyon were statistically important. It was also determined that the differences were correlated with elevation. However, differences among nuclear DNA content of accessions of B. hybridium were not statistically important. In the dendrogram prepared based on results of nuclear DNA content of accessions, it is observed that, accessions are separated into two groups, while there is only one accession in the first group, the others are gathered in the second group. When the groups are examined, it is determined that, accessions in the same subgroups have several common morphologic features. In SSR analysis, 99 alleles were ascertained in the study using 142 individuals belonging to 32 B. distachyon accession and 11 primer. It's seen that number of allele ranges from 3-15 for each primer, average number of allele according to stated regions is 13,67 allele/region in 1. Region and it is 11 allele/region in 2. Region. In the study, it is assessed that polymorphism rate is 100%, allele productivity (Na) 6,302, variety of gene is 0,645, observed ( H0) and supposed ( He) heterozygosity level respectively ranges from 0,0116- 0,0366 and 0,4111-0,8645. Also, in this study, 16 original allele, 9 special to 1. Region and 7 special to 2. Region, are determined. It's calculated that genetic diversity value ( Fst) calculated for the regions is 0,19324, average PIC value is 0,60 ( 0,35- 0,84) and genetic distance is 0,590. In the dendrogram prepared in respect of the results of genetic distance, it's seen that, samples are separated into two groups in terms of genetic diversity, samples belonging to same accessions can take part in different subgroups and samples collected from different regions can take part in different subgroups. According to the results taken from dendrogram, BL14, BL13, BL15, BL17, BL19 are the most distant relatives with ED1 and AD1 individuals, when we look at the the accessions that these individuals belong to, Bd94 is distant in terms of genetics with Bd3 and Kah., Bd3 is close relative with Kah accession. This situation shows that there is a genetic diversity between and within accessions , and there isn't a meaningful relation between the observed genetic diversity and geographic region that the samples are collected from. When the Factorial Similarity Analyse Graphic is examined, it is seen that, accessions are separated into two groups, but there is no exact borders between two groups, and there is a middle group in between which is formed by the individuals belonging to both groups. Also in the model-based Bayesian analyse to determine the individuals that have different genetic structure, genotypes are separated into two groups but outsider participation to the groups from the other group and genotypes that has the genetic features of both groups are determined. Findings support each other. According to this, it is determined that the samples which are collected from the same geographic regions can take part in different groups in terms of genetic similarity, there isn't a meaningful relation between the geographic region and the genetic diversity. At the same time, genetic diversity is abundant in the same region.Correlation analysis between altitude, nuclear DNA content and morphological traits was made and high correlation were found. Multiple linear regression analysis was also made in order to determine the effects of nuclear DNA content and altitude on morphological features. According to this analysis, with the increasing of DNA the durations of germination, heading and flowering increase whereas width and length of flag leaf, the weight of seed, hairiness of plant increase. As the altitude gets higher the number of spiked stalks increases and nuclear DNA content decreases. Brachypodium distachyon genetic resource collection in Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Namık Kemal University has a high morphologic and genetic variation. Therefore, the collection will be very usefull to study some agriculturally important traits of cultivated temperate grasses in Turkey such as cereals and forage grasses, mapping of genes controling these traits, developing markörs, and cloning of these genes. Araştırma, 2010 ve 2011 yıllarında, Hayrabolu, Malkara, Merkez, Şarköy ve Saray olmak üzere beş farklı lokasyonda yürütülmüştür. Süne-buğday çeşidi ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla, 23 farklı ekmeklik buğday çeşidi, Tekirdağ Ziraat Fakültesi'nin deneme alanında üstü açık ve kapalı olarak yetiştirilmişlerdir. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinde nifm sayısı, süne emgi oranı, embriyo kararması, protein oranı, danede nem oranı, sedimantasyon değeri, beklemeli sedimantasyon değeri, gluten değeri, gluten indeksi ve dane verimi özellikleri incelenmiştir. Farklı süne emgi oranının kalite kriterleri üzerine etkilerini belirlemek için farklı süne emgili danelerde ekstensograf, farinograf ve alveograf analizleri yapılmıştır. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin genotipik farklılıkları ve genotipik farklılıklar ile süneye dayanım arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak için SDS PAGE analizi yapılmıştır. Lokasyonlara göre incelenen kalite özelliklerinde, nifm sayısı süne zararı ve embriyo kararması oranında önemli farklar bulunmuştur. Lokasyonlar arasında en yüksek embriyo kararması oranları Merkez ve Saray lokasyonlarında bulunmuş, Merkez lokasyonunda ilk yıl Za-75, Gelibolu ve Guadalupe çeşitlerinde, ikinci yıl Esperia, Gelibolu, Nina ve Sirena çeşitlerinde, Saray lokasyonunda da ise her iki yılda da Flamura 85 çeşidinde en yüksek değer elde edilmiştir.Süne emgi oranı yönünden ilk yıl en yüksek nifm sayısı bulunan Malkara lokasyonunda en yüksek süne emgi oranları elde edilmiştir. Bu lokasyonu Şarköy ve Merkez lokasyonları izlemiştir. Malkara lokasyonunda en yüksek süne zararı Nina ve Sana çeşitlerinde, Şarköy lokasyonunda ise en yüksek süne emgi oranı Pandas ve Flamura 85 çeşitlerinde elde edilmiştir, En düşük süne emgi oranı Malkara lokasyonunda Nina, Krasunia ve Edirne çeşitlerinde, Şarköy lokasyonunda ise Tekirdağ çeşidinde elde edilmiştir. İkinci yetiştirme yılında süne emgi oranı en yüksek Malkara, Hayrabolu ve Şarköy lokasyonlarında bulunmuştur. Malkara lokasyonunda en yüksek süne emgisi Nina ve Golia çeşitlerinde, Hayrabolu lokasyonunda Flamura 85, Krasunia ve Gelibolu çeşitlerinde, Şarköy lokasyonunda ise Guadalupe ve Nina çeşitlerinde görülmüştür. En düşük süne zararı ise Malkara lokasyonunda Dropia, Gelibolu, Edirne ve Esperia çeşitlerinde, Hayrabolu'da ise Krasunia, Bankal ve Esperia çeşitlerinde elde edilmiştir. Beş lokasyonda elde edilen kalite özellikleri incelendiğinde, özellikle Malkara ve Şarköy lokasyonlarında süne zararının yüksek olduğu ilk yıl kalite özelliklerinde önemli düşüşler görülmüştür. Süne zararı görülen çeşitlerde gluten, gluten indeksi, Zeleny sedimentasyon ve özellikle beklemeli sedimantasyon değerinde azalma görülmüştür. Protein oranı ve danede nem oranı ise süne emgisi ile ilişkili bulunmamıştır. Dane verimi ilk yıl 298-733 kg/da arasında, ikinci yıl ise dane verimi 200-540 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. İlk yıl Malkara ve Merkez lokasyonlarında verimler yüksek, diğer lokasyonlarda ise düşük bulunmuştur. Beş lokasyon arasında en yüksek dane verimi 733,00 kg ile Pinzon çeşidinde, 670 kg ile Esperia çeşidinde, 648 kg ile Saraybosna çeşidinde elde edilmiştir. İkinci yetiştirme yılında ise en yüksek dane verimi 540 kg ile Sana çeşidinde, 520 kg ile Krasunia ve Flamura 85 çeşitlerinde bulunmuştur. Denemede ilk yıl ve ikinci yıl 64 ekmeklik buğday örneğinde yıllar bazında ayrı ayrı incelendiğinde, süne emgi oranında ilk yıl değerleri ikinci yıl değerlerine göre daha düşük olmuştur. İlk yıl süne emgi oranı % 0,10-4,97 arasında ikinci yıl ise % 0,10-6,0 arasında değişmiştir. İlk yıl en yüksek süne emgisi Pandas, Flamura 85,Sana, Nina ve Gelibolu çeşitlerinde, ikinci yıl ise Nina, Guadalupe, Golia ve Odeskaya çeşitlerinde bulunmuştur. En düşük süne emgisi ise ilk yıl Krasunia, Nina ve Edirne çeşitlerinde, ikinci yıl ise Bankal çeşidinde elde edilmiştir. Nina, Krasunia, Pehlivan, Flamura 85, Guadalupe ve Gelibolu çeşitlerinde farklı süne emgisi olan danelerde ekstensograf özelliklerinden Rmak ve uzama kabiliyeti, farinograf özelliklerinde su kaldırma ve yumuşama değeri, alveograf özelliklerinde ise direnç, uzama ve enerji değerlerinde çeşitlere ve süne emgi oranlarındaki artışa bağlı olarak önemli oranda azalmalar görülmüştür. Açık alanda yetiştirilen çeşitlerde en yüksek süne emgisi % 3,08 ile Tekirdağ çeşidinde olmuş, bu çeşidi Alga, Renan, Sadova, Geya ve Krasnodarskaya-99 çeşitleri izlemiştir. En düşük süne emgisi ise % 1,60 ile Enola ve Dropia çeşitlerinde, % 1,63 ile Krasunia çeşidinde elde edilmiştir. Üstü kapatılarak yetiştirilen ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinde süne emgi oranı önemli bir artış göstererek % 4,93-12,75 arasında değişmiştir. İki yıl ortalamasına göre en yüksek süne emgisi sırasıyla Tekirdağ, Geya, Renan ve Sadova çeşitlerinde elde edilmiş, en düşük değerler ise Gelibolu, Kate A1, Krasunia ve Dropia çeşitlerinde olmuştur. Kalite özellikleri incelendiğinde gluten, gluten indeksi, sedimentasyon ve beklemeli sedimentasyon değerleri açık alandaki değerlere göre büyük oranda azalma göstermiştir. Beklemeli sedimantasyon değerleri ise tüm çeşitlerde ürünün kullanılamayacak düzeyde olmasına sağlayacak oranda düşük düzeyde olmuştur. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin genotipik farklılıklarını ortaya koymak için yapılan SDS PAGE analiz sonuçları göre çeşitlerde protein bantları 17-21 adet arasında değişirken, bant yoğunluğu ve bantların molekül ağırlıkları yönünden çeşitler arasında önemli düzeyde farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Çeşitlerin protein bantları ağırlıklı olarak omega (ω) bölgesinde dağılırken, gama (γ) ve beta (β) bölgelerinde ise bant sayısı daha düşük olmuş, alfa bölgesinde ise bant görülmemiştir. Kapalı ve açık alanda yetiştirilen buğday çeşitleri birlikte değerlendirildiğinde, süne zararına en yüksek dayanıklılık gösteren çeşitler Gelibolu, Krasunia, Dropia ve Kate A1 çeşitleri benzer molekül ağırlığına sahip bantları, en düşük dayanıklılık gösteren çeşitler Tekirdağ, Geya, Renan ve Sadova benzer molekül ağırlığına sahip bantları ortak olarak taşımışlardır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Süne zararı, ekmeklik buğday, kalite, verim, embriyo kararması, SDS PAGE The research was conducted in five different locations which are Hayrabolu, Malkara, Merkez, Şarköy and Saray in 2010 and 2011. 23 different varieties of bread wheat were grown in open fields and closed areas in Tekirdağ Faculty of Agriculture testing regions.Moreover nifm number of bread wheat varieties, sunn pest damage ratio, black point, protein ratio, moisture ratio, sedimentation rate, gluten rate and index and particle productivity features were analyzed.What is more, extensograph, pharynograph, alveograph analyses were made on different sunn pest damage to determine the effects of different sunn pest damage ratio on the criterion of quality. SDS PAGE analysis was made to reveal the relationship between genotypic differences and resistance to sunn pest and genotypic differences. When the results are analyzed in terms of quality features examined considering the locations, the highest level of black point occurs in Center and Saray locations. The highest levels in the first year at the Center were in Za-75, Gelibolu and Guadalupe varieties. The highest level in the second year at the Center were Esperia, Gelibolu, Nina and Sirena varieties. Flamura 85 was the highest level in Saray in both years.In Malkara where the highest number of nifm number was acquired in the first year was also the highest in sunn pest damage ratio. This location is followed by Şarköy and Center locations. The highest number of deficiencies were in Malkara location with Nina and Sana varieties whereas the highest sunn pest damage ratio was attained with Pandas and Flamura 85 varieties. The lowest sunn pest damage ratio was with Nina and Krasunia and with Tekirdağ type in Şarköy.In the second year of growing the highest ratio of sunn pest damage was in Malkara, Hayrabolu and Şarköy locations. The highest level of sunn pest in Malkara location was Nina and Golia varieties; in Flamura 85, Krasunia and Gelibolu varieties in Hayrabolu location and in Guadalupe and Nina varieties in Şarköy location. The lowest sunn pest loss was in Dropia, Gelibolu, Edirne and Esperia varieties in Malkara location and Krasunia, Baykal and Esperia in Hayrabolu.When the quality features of five locations are examined, these features tend to get worse in the first year when the sunn pest loss was high, especially in Malkara and Şarköy locations. Contents of gluten, gluten index, Zeleny sedimentation and especially retarted sedimentation values in the varieties with sunn pest loss. Protein level and particle humidity are not directly affected by sunn pest damage. While crop yield changed between 298 and 733 kg in the first growing season, it changed between 200 and 540 kg in the second one. In the first season, Malkara and city center had high crop yield while the other locations had low crop yields. Among five locations, the highest crop yield was gained in Pinzon with 733 kg, Esperia with 670 kg, Sarajevo with 648 kg. In the second growing season, the highest crop yield was gained in Sana with 540 kg, Krasunia and Flamura 85 with 520 kg. When 64 bread wheat samples were analyzed on yearly basis, in the first season parasitism rates of sunn pest was lower than the second season rates. The first season parasitism rates were between 0,10-4,97% and the second season rates were between 0,10-6,0 %. In the first season, the highest the parasitism rate was obtained from Pandas, Flamura 85, Sana, Nina and Gelibolu samples. In the second season, the highest rate was obtained from Nina, Guadalupe, Golia and Odeska. The lowest parasitism rate was obtained from Krasunia, Nina and Edirne samples in the first season; and from Baykal sample in the second season. In crops which have different parasitism of sunn pest with Nina, Krasunia, Pehlivan, Flamura 85, Guadalupe and Gelibolu samples reduced considerably depending on the Rmak and extendibility from extensograph properties; water lifting ratio and softening value from falinograph properties; resistance, extension from alveograph properties. With the samples grown outdoors, the highest parasitism rate of sunn pest was in Tekirdağ sample with 3,08 % and followed by Alga, Renan, Sadova, Geya and Krasnodarskaya-99 samples. The lowest parasitism rate was obtained from Enola and Dropia with 1,60 %; Krasunia with 1,63 %. In bread wheat samples grown in closed areas, the parasitism of sunn pest rate increased considerably and measured between 4,93-12,75%. According to the average of two seasons, the highest parasitism rate was obtained respectively from Geya, Tekirdağ, Renan and Sadova samples. The lowest parasitism rates was obtained from Gelibolu, KateA-1, Krasunia and Dropia samples. When the quality features were analysed, gluten, gluten index, Zeleny sedimentation and retarted sedimentation values reduced substantially in comparison with values obtained outdoors. Retarted sedimentation values in all samples were at a quite low level that making the crop useless. According to the SDS PAGE analysis results done in order to present the genotypic differences among bread wheat samples, while protein bands were changing between 17-21 pieces, many considerable differences were found between samples in terms of band density and molecular weights of bands. While protein bands of samples were mainly ranged in Omega region, band number in Gama and Beta regions was less and in Alpha region, no bands were seen. When the closed area and outdoor area results were analysed, the most resistant samples to the parasitism of sunn pest were the varieties Gelibolu, Krasunia, Dropia ve Kate A1 which have same bands with kDa molecular weights. The least resistant samples were the varieties Tekirdağ, Geya, Renan and Sadova which have same bands with molecular weights. Çinko eksikliği topraklarda en yaygın olarak görülen mikro besin element eksikliklerinden biridir. Tarım topraklarındaki mikro element eksiklikleri sadece bitkisel üretimde verim ve kaliteyi olumsuz etkilememekte, aynı zamanda hayvan ve insan sağlığını da tehdit etmektedir. Tahıllarda tanedeki Zn element konsantrasyonunu arttırmanın en önemli yollarından biri Zn gübrelemesidir. Bitkilerde çinko eksikliği, topraktan, yapraktan veya tohumdan uygulanarak giderilebilir. Bu çalışmada buğdaya artan dozda ve farklı formlarda Zn hem toprak hem de yapraktan uygulanmış ve yeşil aksam kuru maddesi, yeşil aksam Zn konsantrasyonu üzerine etkileri ile tanedeki Zn element konsantrasyonu ve tane verimi belirlenmiştir. Bildiğimiz kadarıyla, literatürde, buğday çeşitlerine tanedeki Zn konsantrasyonunu artırmak için yapraktan sadece ZnSO4 formunda Zn uygulanmasına odaklanılmış ve bunun etkilerine bakılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, ZnSO4'ün yanında diğer Zn formlarının yapraktan ve topraktan uygulamadaki etkilerine bakılıp karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Ekmeklik buğdaya yapraktan ve topraktan ZnSO4, ZnO, ZnEDTA ve ZnCl2 formlarında Zn uygulanarak hangisinin bitki tarafından daha fazla alındığı ve verime daha olumlu etki ettiği karşılaştırılmıştır. Yapılan bu araştırmada, sonuç olarak, topraktan artan dozlarda uygulanan Zn formlarından ZnEDTA’nın verim ve Zn element konsantrasyonu üzerinde en fazla etkiye sahip olduğu görülürken, en az etkiye sahip olan ise ZnO formu olarak belirlenmiştir. Yapraktan uygulanan Zn formlarından ise, ZnCl2 formunun Zn element konsantasyonunu en fazla arttırdığı, ZnO formunun ise yine en zayıf etkiye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Zinc deficiency is one of the most common micronutrient deficiencies. Micronutrient deficiencies of agricultural soils do not only have various negative effects on crop yield and quality but also constitute a threat to animal and human health. In cereals, Zn fertilization is one of the most practical strategies to increase the Zn concentration of grains. Zinc deficiency of plants can be corrected by soil, foliar and seed applications of Zn. In this study, Zn was applied to the soil and/or foliage of wheat plants at increasing amounts and in different forms and the effects on shoot dry matter and shoot Zn concentration as well as grain yield and grain Zn concentration were determined. To the best of our knowledge, recent literature focused on only ZnSO4 for foliar Zn application in order to enrich wheat grain with Zn. In this study, the effects of ZnSO4 and other Zn forms as soil and foliar fertilizers were investigated and compared to each other. Foliar and soil applications of ZnSO4, ZnO, ZnEDTA and ZnCl2 to bread wheat were compared based on their absorption by the plants and their positive effects on yield. The findings of this study demonstrated that ZnEDTA applied to the soil at increasing amounts is the most effective Zn form for increasing yield and Zn concentration, whereas ZnO has the least effect. In the case of foliar Zn application, ZnCl2 turned out to be the best at increasing the shoot Zn concentration, while ZnO is again the least effective one

Çalışmada, 3 ekmeklik buğday melez popülasyonunda iki farklı çiçek tozu gelişim döneminin anter kültürüne etkisi ve 4 makarnalık buğday melez populasyonunda anter kültürüne iki farklı başlangıç ortamının etkisi araştırılmıştır. Buna ilave olarak çalışmada W14F besi ortamı kullanılarak erken tek çekirdekli döneminde olan 12 ekmeklik buğday melez populasyonun anter kültürüne yanıtı belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, anterlerden gelişen kallus, albino bitkicik, yeşil bitkicik ve seraya aktarılan bitki sayıları belirlenmiştir. İki farklı besi ortamının (W14F, C17F) anter kültürü üzerine etkileri incelendiğinde kallus sayısında besi ortamının etkisi önemli bulunurken, albino bitkicik, yeşil bitkicik ve seraya transfer edilen bitki sayısı üzerine etkisi önemsiz bulunmuştur.Çiçek tozu gelişim dönemlerinin anter kültürü üzerine etkisi incelendiğinde ise erken tek çekirdekli dönemde çiçek tozu içeren anterlerden sonraki dönemlere göre daha yüksek yeşil bitkicik ve seraya aktarılan bitki sayısı elde edilmiştir. Oniki buğday melez popülasyonun anter kültürüne yanıtı incelendiğinde melez popülasyonlar arasında istatistik olarak önemli farklılık olduğu belirlenmiştir.Yapılan önemlilik testi sonucunda melez popülasyonlar arası ve yeşil bitkicik yanıtı açısından farklılık istatistik olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Yeşil bitkicik sayısı 1.50-70.50 adet arasında, seraya aktarılan bitki sayısı ortalama olarak 1.00-59.25 adet arasında değişmiştir. En fazla bitkicik sayısı ve seraya aktarılan bitki sayısı 70.50 adet ve 59.25 ile Golia/Syrena melez popülasyonundan elde edilmiştir. The objetives of this study were to determine the effects of two different pollen development periods to the anther culture in 3 bread wheat hybrid populastions and to determine the effects of two different induction mediums to the anther culture in four durum wheat hybrids. In addition to this, response of twelve bread hybrid wheat populations in their early uninucleate period to anter culture were determined by using W14F medium. In the study, the number of calluses which developed from anthers, albino plantlets, green plantlets and the plants which transferred to the greenhouse were determined. Based on the results of the study, the effects of two different mediums (W14F, C17F) on number of calluses were satistically significant. However, the effects of two different mediums on number of albino plantlets, green plantles and the plants which transferred to the greenhouse were not statistically significant. Anther culture with pollens in their early uninucleate period produced higher numbers of green plantlets and plants which transferred to the greenhouse comparing to later stage (mid uninucleate period). It was found out that the differences among responces of twelve bread wheat hybrid populations to the anther culture were statistically significant. Based on the analysis of LSD, the differences between hybrid populations and the responses about in terms of green plantlets found statistically significant. Green plantlets numbers changed between 1.50 to 70.50, in case of the plants which transferred to the greenhouse numbers changed between 1.00 to 59.25. The maximum numbers of plantlets and the plants which transferred to the greenhouse, obtained from Golia/Syrena hybrid population respectively 70.50 units and 59.25 units.

Çalışmada 7 tritikale, 3 ekmeklik buğday, 2 arpa, 2 yulaf ve 1 çavdar çeşidi materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Denemeler toprak özellikleri yönünden farklı dört lokasyonda tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuştur. Ekimler 6 m uzunluğunda 1 m genişliğindeki (17cm sıra arası ve 6 sıra) parsellere metrekarede 500 tohum bulunacak şekilde el ile yapılmıştır.Çalışmada, bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakçık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, başak ağırlığı, başak hasat indeksi, tane verimi, yeşil ot verimi, kuru ot verimi, gluten oranları, gluten indeksi, sedimantasyon değerleri, ham kül, ham selüloz, ham protein, kuru madde, protein oranı, bin tane ağırlığı ve hektolitre ağırlığı özellikleri incelenmiştir.Ortalama tane verim sonuçlarını göre ITYN 818, TT 201 ve ITYN 819 tritikale çeşitlerinin verimlerini en yüksek verimi, Presto 2000 ve Tatlıcak 97 tritikale çeşitlerinin ise en düşük verim verdiği belirlenmiştir.Farklı toprak yapıları dikkate alındığında iki yıllık tane verim sonuçlarını incelediğimizde, Ziraat Fakültesi lokasyonunda TT 201 ve ITYN 818 tritikale çeşitlerini, su tutan arazide (Ortaca köyü lokasyonunda) TT 201, ITYN 818 ve TR 2201 tritikale çeşitleri, kıraç arazilerde (Kılavuzlu köyü lokasyonunda) TT 201, ITYN 818 ve ITYN 819 tritikale çeşitleri ve taban arazide (Selçuk köyü lokasyonunda) TT 201 ve Tatlıcak 97 tritikale çeşitleri en yüksek değerleri vermiştir.İki yıllık yeşil ot verimine göre TR 2201, Tatlıcak 97 ve Karma 2000 tritikale çeşitlerinin ise en yüksek yeşil ot verimi verdiği belirlenmiştir. Presto, TT 201 ve ITYN 819 tritikale çeşitlerinin ise en düşük yeşil ot verimi verdiği belirlenmiştir.Ortalama kuru ot verim sonuçlarını göre ITYN 819, Karma 2000 ve TR 2201 tritikale çeşitlerinin ise en yüksek değeri verirken, TT 201, Presto ve Tatlıcak 97 tritikale çeşitlerinin ise en düşük değerleri vermişlerdir.2008-2009 yılında Tritikale çeşitleri ekmeklik buğdaylardan ortalama 100 kg/da, arpadan 200 kg/da, çavdardan 300 kg/da ve yulafdan ise 400 kg/da fazla verim verdiği tartılmıştır.2009-2010 yılında ise tritikale çeşitleri ekmeklik buğdaylardan ortalama 40 kg/da, arpadan 100 kg/da, çavdardan 110 kg/da, yulafdan ise 110 kg/da fazla verim verdiği belirleniştir.Tritikale çeşitleri ekmeklik buğdaylardan ortalama 1,00 ton/da, arpadan 1,00 ton/da, çavdardan 1,00 ton/da, yulafdan ise 0,40 ton/da fazla yeşil ot verimi verdiği belirlenmiştir.Tritikale çeşitleri ekmeklik buğdaylardan ortalama 0,25 ton/da, arpa çeşitlerinden 0,25 ton/da, çavdar çeşidinden 0,05 ton/da, yulaf çeşitlerinden ise 0,25 ton/da fazla kuru ot verimi verdiği gözlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Tritikale, yeşil ot verimi, kuru ot verimi, tane verimi In the study, 7 triticale, 3 bread wheat, 2 barley, oats and 1 rye varieties were used as material. Experiments were established in four different locations in terms of soil properties as a randomized block design with three replications. Sowing were made by hand on a length of 1 m to 6 m wide (17cm row spacing and 6 lines) 500 seeds per square meter plots.In the study, plant height, spike length, spikelet number, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, spike weight, spike index, grain yield, forage yield, hay yield, gluten content, gluten index, sedimentation value, crude ash, crude fiber, crude protein, dry matter, protein content, thousand grain, weight and test weight were investigated.According to the results of average grain yield, ITYN 818, TT 201 and ITYN 819 triticale varieties were the highest grain yield while Presto 2000 and Tatlıcak 97 triticale varieties were determined the lowest yield.As given the results of a two-year grain yield, TT 201 and ITYN 818 triticale varieties in Agriculture Faculty location, TT 201, ITYN 818 and TR 2201 triticale varieties in Ortaca village location (water holding land), TT 201, ITYN 818 and ITYN 819 triticales varieties in Kılavuzlu village lokasyon (arid lands) and TT 201 and Tatlıcak 97 varieties of triticale in Selçuk village lokasyonunda (land base) gave the highest yield.According to average green grass yield, Tatlıcak 97 and Karma 2000 triticale varieties were the highest yield of green grass and TT 201 and ITYN 819 triticale varieties were determined from the lowest green herbage yield.In terms of the average dry matter yield, the average dry matter yield, the average dry matter yield, ITYN 819, Karma 2000 and TR 2201 were found the highest dry matter yield, while the TT 201, Presto 2000 and Tatlıcak 97 triticale varieties gave the lowest values.Triticale varieties were given more than the grain yield from 100 kg/da of bread wheat 200 kg/da of barley, 300 kg/da of rye and 400 kg/da of oat in 2008-2009 year.Triticale varieties were given more than the grain yield from 40 kg/da of bread wheat 100 kg/da of barley, 110 kg/da of rye and 110 kg/da of oat in 2009-2010 year.Triticale varieties were given more green herbage yield from 1,00 ton/da of bread wheat, barley and rye varieties, 0,40 ton/da of oat vareties.Triticale varieties were given more dry matter yield from 0,25 ton/da of bread wheat, barley and oat varieties, 0,05 ton/da of rye vareties.Key words: Triticale, green herbage yield, dry matter yield, grain yield 170

Yüksek Lisans Tezi 2003-2004 ve 2004-2005 ekim yıllarında Trakya Üniversitesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Deneme Alanında yapılan bu araştırmada in vitro ve in vivo (saksı ve tarla) koşullarda 15 buğday çeşidi kurağa dayanım yönünden incelenmiştir. Onbeş buğday çeşidi, Pehlivan, Flamura 85, Saraybosna, Milena, Prostor, Dariel, Kıraç 66, Altay 2000, Sagittario, Gediz 75, Golia, Sadova, Bezostoja 1, Todora ve Süzen, materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Denemeler in vitro ve in vivo koşullarında tesadüf parsellerinde faktöriyel deneme olarak kurulmuştur. Tarla denemeleri ise tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada tane verimi, başaklanma gün sayısı, bitki uzunluğu, başak uzunluğu, ana başakta tane sayısı, ana başakta tane ağırlığı, mumsuluk, bayrak yaprak alanı, bayrak yaprak açısı, stoma sayısı, tek bitki tane verimi, kılçıklılık, hektolitre ağırlığı, 1000 tane ağırlığı, sürgün ve kök ağırlığı, sürgün ve kök uzunluğu, sürgün ve kök kuru madde oranı, farklı dönemlerde yaprak sus tutma kabiliyeti kriterleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada farklı kuraklık ortamlarında in vitro ve in vivo koşullarında incelenen özelliklerde önemli oranda azalmalar meydana gelmiştir. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitlerinin farklı kuraklık ortamlarından değişik düzeylerde etkilendikleri belirlenmiştir. Tarla koşullarında 2 yıl süresince yapılan çalışmalarda tane verimi 301.00 -552.00 kg/da, ikinci yıl ise 282.92-623.33 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. En yüksek yaprak su kayıp oranı 159 g ile Golia ve Prostor çeşitlerinden elde edilmiştir. En az yaprak su kayıp oranı ise 62.67 g ve 63.67 g ile sırasıyla Flamura 85 ve Kıraç 66 çeşitlerinden belirlenmiştir. . Abstract In this research carried out in the research area of Field Crops Department, Tekirdag Agricultural Faculty in Thrace University in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 growing period, it was aimed to determine the drought resistance of fifteen wheat cultivars under vitro and in vivo conditions. This research, based on the random blocks of experimental design with three replications for field experiment and factorial random plot of experimental design in vivo and in vitro conditions with six replications. Pehlivan, Flamura 85, Saraybosna, Milena, Prostor, Dariel, Kıraç 66, Altay 2000, Sagittario, Gediz 75, Golia, Sadova, Bezostoja 1, Todora and Suzen wheat cultivars were used. Grain yield per main spike, grain yield per decare, number of heading days, plant height, spike length, number of grain per main spike, weight of grain per main spike, lag leaf area per plant, number of stomata, test weight, thousand kernel weight, shout and root weight, shout and root length, dry matter weight of shout and root per plant, leaf retention ability in different conditions were examined Most of the plants characters decreased significantly under different drought conditions both in vitro and pots important level when compared to the control groups. Response of bread wheat genotypes under different drought conditions changed with genotypes. Grain yields of the cultivars ranged from 301.00 -552.00 kg/da in 2003-2004 and 282.92 to 623.33 kg/da in 2004-2005 growing period.
