- Abstract
In order to further explore the soil consolidation effect of vegetation roots, to explore the best vegetation slope protection model. Based on the existing research results of vegetation slope protection, the use of numerical simulation method was discussed to simulate the hydrological effect and mechanical mechanism of vegetation roots. The effects of root slope protection under the conditions of simulating different slopes, rainfall, root inclination, root length, root density and root distribution were summarized. According to the displacement and stress field of the slope, or by comparing the stability coefficient of the slope and the shear strength of the root soil under different conditions, the slope protection effect of the root system can be more accurately reflected, and the applicability of the numerical simulation method can be further verified. Numerical simulation can consider multiple influencing factors and analyze the role of vegetation root slope protection. In the future, the root system model needs to be continuously improved and more comprehensive factors should be considered in the application of root slope protection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
