The location problem is defined as a problem on determining where the facility should be located. Determining the facility location considers several factors: distance, customers, and costs. A State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that provides public service obligations to procure and distribute rice to beneficiaries (Raskin) is studied as a case study. The case study has 1500 warehouses to support community service activities. In this study, the Set Covering Problem (SCP) and P-Median methods were used to find the optimal number of warehouses to support the distribution of Raskin in Central Java and Yogyakarta (DIY) Province. Regarding the number of selected warehouses, the SCP model gives better results than the P-median. The total number of chosen warehouses is 13 from the SCP compared to 16 warehouses from the P-median. However, in terms of total mileage, the P-median gives a better result than the SCP method in each Divre and Sub-divre, with the total distance by the P-median being 941 Km compared to 1301 Km mileage for the SCP model. Solar energy is one option that can be used to reduce the use of fossil energy sources whose supplies are dwindling, resulting in global warming caused by their use. A solar power plant is a power generating equipment that converts sunlight into electrical energy. Sunlight has been widely used to supply electrical power in communication satellites through solar cells. Some of the uses of solar power plants include PV rooftops and solar water pumps. There are drawbacks to the solar water pump, including requiring a large area to produce energy from solar panels. Meanwhile, rooftop PV does not need a large area to generate energy from solar panels. Rooftop PV only utilises existing rooftops, so rooftop PV has the advantage of using land for solar power plants. However, there are several drawbacks to rooftop PV, including difficulties when performing maintenance and affecting the circulation of the solar panels, resulting in an increase in the temperature of the solar panels. When the temperature in the PV reaches 70°C, it can result in a decrease in the power generated. The steps needed in this research are the design of a monitoring system with data warehouse features to see the performance of the rooftop PV and a cooling system to help heat circulation on the rooftop PV, to make it easier to access and maintain rooftop PV, when performing solar panel maintenance and maintain a stable temperature on the solar panel. This study is beneficial for understanding the optimization of rooftop PV in urban areas and can be a guide for local governments to develop renewable energy in a sustainable manner. This research considers an ideal raw material inventory model with demand that is stock dependant. In general, retailers buy more items when raw materials are in season or when manufacturers provide bulk-order discounts. The demand rate is stock dependent, thus the price break up developed model is taken into account. The advantages of the tracking system created by the authors, its analytical predictions based on artificial intelligence, the results of experiments and effective methods of hunting are presented in detail. In this study, a warehousing system management design was developed using the kanban barcode method to make it easier for operators to recap data on the entry and exit of goods ordered for the procurement of car spare parts at Toko Jaya Utama Muda. The Warehouse Management System design that has been implemented using the kanban barcode method consists of several processes, including: 1) Designing the process for making spare parts orders, 2) Designing the process for sending spare parts to the sales line, and 3) Designing the process for collecting kanban barcode suppliers. After the system design and various processes in the kanban barcode system are known, the equipment and equipment needed are known. Malaria is a disease infection with protozoa of the genus Plasmodium through vector mosquito female Anopheles sp. Factor environment plays a role in risk-related malaria transmission with vector breeding habitats. This research is a descriptive epidemiological study with an ecological study approach. The variables used are the distribution of health centers, population density, housing area, topography and land use. The results of the study proved that population density, housing area, topography and land use were positive variables causing the number of malaria cases while the distribution of health centers was a negative variable. Automotive suppliers are consisted with different tiers and rely much to the 'just in time' deliveries to the assembly plant in order to fulfill their customer order efficiently. It can be beneficial for the automotive industries to find the most efficient warehouse location with respect to the assembly plant. Therefore, this study aims to construct an automotive supplier warehouse network model that minimizes the total supply chain costs by consolidating, eliminating, and adding new sites. The study is carried out on three types of network data types: data type 1 – uniform, data type 2 – cluster, and data type 3 – compact. Data 1 shows that numerous facilities were not needed to meet the demands of a small number of customers. In addition, existing warehouse network redesign models and mathematical programming models do not consider the consolidation, elimination, and addition of a new warehouse simultaneously in one model but only consider one or a combination of two of them only. However, these three redesign techniques namely addition, closure, and consolidation of a new warehouse should be considered in the model to optimize the cost. The results pointed to recommend opening nine new warehouses. Data 2 and Data 3 suggested more customers, so more warehouses were proposed to operate, where the number of new warehouses never selected by the model was small. The analysis in this study shows that all three types of data have differences in redesigning the warehouse network. Most important is the improvement made in this study compared to the previous study is that new warehouse placements are not randomly placed but using the allocation location model. Since the proposed new warehouse is in a strategic location, taking into account the position of the automotive assembly plant and the vendor's warehouses then a more optimal cost can be obtained as a result of this study. Implementation of the Simulated Annealing (SA) technique is used to address a redesign warehouse network location problem. This is one of the attempts to enable the solution to escape from the local optimum. An investigation on a few elements of this meta-heuristic will be carried out in this work, The proposed SA implementation will be evaluated using the test problems from the literature. SA is one population-based, so to improve the method so it can work as well as a population-based method, multi-start techniques are discussed in this paper. The study is carried out on three types of network data: data type 1 – uniform, data type 2 – cluster, and data type 3 – compact. It shows excellent results after this method is applied. Nowadays, in the 4.0 industry era, warehouses are essential in supply chain competition. Warehouses ensure that the goods are safely kept throughout the supply chain journey. The current era has created new obstacles in the warehouse sector, which will require new strategies in order to face them. Two of the most popular strategies are the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired First-Out (FEFO) stock-keeping method, which is chosen considering the nature of the materials. These strategies need to be done efficiently in the shortest time possible to reduce waste of time, which is the principle of a lean warehouse, which may be a problem for various companies. One of the solutions to this problem is by using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The WMS would have to consider the problems that are happening or may happen in the future. It should also support the decision-making of inbound and outbound operations by automatically providing information and suggestions. The suggestions should be able to tell where to put away or pick an item in the warehouse efficiently while also keeping FIFO/FEFO in mind. Thus, this paper provides a conceptual framework that will be required in designing a warehouse management system while analyzing the important aspects that should be considered. A building project will inevitably change. Project delays are a phenomenon brought on by changes that are not followed by effective management. These issues include delays in work progress claims and payment of terms. The Nestle warehouse project utilized as a case study does not include BIM 5D technology in its change control system. This project was unable to keep up with the significant changes that took place since a strong management structure wasn't in place, and the newest technology wasn't yet incorporated. As a result, delays ultimately occurred. This study intends to examine the key elements of BIM 5D technology that can enhance change management processes and accelerate project completion. The 85 respondents who were engaged in the project's change control process, including engineers, BIM engineers, quantity surveyors, and estimators, were given questionnaires as part of the quantitative study. Using PLS-SEM, the data collected was examined (Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model). The outcome of this study shows that real-time modeling from BIM 5D and quantity extraction are the key elements that may significantly enhance every step of a change control system. Because the BIM 5D technology uses automatic computation, contractors can keep up with the most recent modifications faster than by utilizing manual calculation. The Dewangga Batik Factory is one of the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) in the city of Solo, which is engaged in making batik supplied to various shops in various cities. The problems at the Dewangga Batik Factory are recording incoming goods data, outgoing goods data, and bookkeeping regarding sales transactions which are still done manually. Pests can cause the loss of important data and a lack of data integrity, disrupting business operations. Therefore, a website-based inventory information system was implemented to make it easier for managers to record, process, and monitor data. This system was created using the waterfall method. Waterfall method is one of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approaches. A website-based inventory information system has been successfully built and used to facilitate the process of inventorying goods so that data integrity can be guaranteed. The system is built using the PHP programming language based on the Laravel framework and MySQL database. This inventory information system can store and organize documents related to inventory so that data integrity is safer than storing them using books. In the current situation of globalization, many businesses have adopted and implemented supply chain strategies, especially as their operations become more worldwide. Management of corporate operations over extensive supply chains is becoming increasingly important. Product recycling and product return policy are sustainable strategies to reduce environmental and economic deterioration. Additionally, to increase product sales with customer satisfaction, a return refund strategy is an essential strategy for a business organization in a competitive market. In this research, we have developed a manufacturer-retailer two-layer supply chain model with a return-refund strategy. We have formulated price and refund amounts dependent on demand for multiple products. The sales price, refund amount, and market demand are different for each product. An integrated centralized scenario has been discussed under profit maximization criteria. The prime objective of the research is to find out the optimum product pricing strategy and return-refund strategy to maximize the manufacturer's profit, the retailer's profit, and the overall supply chain. A numerical derivation is demonstrated to understand the behavior of significant elasticity parameters with some managerial insights. A comparative approach for determining the choice of the location of the distribution terminal based on the gravity model with its modification of the proportionality coefficient is carried out. The numerical value of warehouse infrastructure facilities in the cargo delivery system that forms the supply chain does not always provide an increase in the efficiency of the function of bringing goods to the end customer. It is known that the system of warehouses from the supplier to the customer leads to a reduction in transportation costs, subject to the consolidation of large volumes of goods, but at a certain stage, with an excessive number of warehouses, transportation costs begin to increase. A non-linear dependence arises, which requires the calculation of the influence of the number of warehouses on transportation costs. Since the changing transport costs are, in this case, random variables, it becomes necessary to use a special mathematical apparatus adequate to the specifics of the problem being solved [8]. X Inc. in Tangerang Regency is a company enganged in manufacturing and has a focus on producing vehicle accessories with the ABS plastic as the main material. X Inc. has 4 main warehouses, each of them contains work areas that have different functions and different machines. However, the existence of many work areas and a fairly dense production schedule means that the factory must operate in effective and efficient time management and at the lowest possible cost. So, one way to find out an effective and efficient and low cost production process is to conduct a review regarding the existing material handling at the factory. It is necessary to observe the material handling flow and calculate the distance and costs incurred by the factory for material handling. The methods that will be used are the FTC, ARC, ARD, AAD methods and then recalculate the distance and cost of redesigned material handling. Based on the results obtained from the redesign of the facility layout owned by X Inc., it was found that the redesign using the new method made the material flow distance closer by 16.37% and the required material handling costs were 10.75% cheaper than the former layout. Indonesia's infrastructure continues to develop rapidly in various development of infrastructures. What is important to remember from a construction management point of view is cost, time, and quality. These three aspects are interrelated and written in an agreement called a contract. Many of these contracts change while the project is in progress. This change is called change order and certainly has an impact on these three important aspects. Therefore, change orders must be reviewed to be avoided. Here, the author will examine the causes and impacts of change orders that occur the most frequent or influential, so that they can be avoided by the implementers. However, because of various studies on the change order, the author focused this research on the contractor's point of view on warehouses and factory buildings and use a different method called fuzzy clustering means (FCM). Even so, the author still used the relative importance index (RII) method as a reference or comparison. In the end, it was found that there were seven causes and negative impacts of change orders dominated, with the main cause being the owner instructing additional work or reducing jobs, while the main negative impact was the increase in overhead costs. For the positive impact of change orders, two variables got in with the dominant variable, which is produced customer loyalty. Besides these conclusions, this research tells that the fuzzy clustering means (FCM) method eliminates variables that are not qualified into being one's classification. While the relative importance index (RII) method ranks the variables without eliminating them. Waste materials in the construction sector can be interpreted as a loss of material resources, time (related to labor and equipment), and capital. This was caused by activities that require cost (money) whether directly or indirectly but it does not affect the final value of the product for construction services users. The purpose of this research is to determine the main causes of the waste materials that most affect the cost. This research was conducted using primary data in the form of a questionnaire with the Relative Importance Index (RII) method with the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program with a significance level of 5% to determine the main cause of the waste materials that most affect the cost. Based on the results of this research, the main causes of waste materials that most affect the cost of a warehouse construction project are inaccurate measurements in the field resulting in excess volume, lack of consideration regarding product dimensions, and using the wrong material so it needs to be replaced. This research proposes the role of logistics hubs in the distribution network as the accelerator in delivering the products. The determination of the logistics hubs is utilizing the Cluster-First Route-Second while this paper also enhances this approach. This study aims to contribute to the Cluster-First Route-Second approach while measuring the performance of the model as the shipping cost per kg. The transportation model and two-step clustering are used together in determining the logistics hubs for each cluster. The analysis is followed by the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). The transportation model results in the distribution are started from 8 out of 12 Distribution Centers. On the other hand, the two-step clustering divided the destination nodes into three different clusters. The combination between the transportation model and the two-step clustering contributed to determining the logistics hubs. The result shows the distribution without logistics hubs is still cheaper in terms of shipping cost per kg. However, this study assumes the amount of shipping is not considered when measuring the performance criteria. Furthermore, the capacity of the vehicle is assumed large enough to have one trip whenever the multi destinations are required. Effective management of warehouse operations is critical not only for reducing response time and inbound costs, but also for its potential impact on energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This case study fronts location allocation problem is fronted using an evolutionary Genetic algorithm to explore the mutual impact of travel time, total inbound costs and CO2 emissions. The research is developed within the finished products warehouse of an automotive industry, analyzing the operations for the whole warehouse cycle, including the arrival of dirty containers/component-boxes, storage, cleaning, re-storage and delivery of cleaned containers/boxes. The solutions are explored by solving the integer programming model developed for travel time, inbound costs and CO2 emissions. Then, within the location allocation problem the study is augmented with the priorities' options for the containers, to explore the three different perspectives of optimizing travel time, inbound costs or CO2 emission. Results highlight the possibilities of concurrent improvement for these objectives with significant decreasing of all three parameters, i.e. time, cost and CO2 emissions. There is a reduction in costs of 54.43%, a reduction in time of 79.49% and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 54.16%. When designing the logistics network, as a rule, the costs to be minimized are associated with facility operations and to transportation between facilities, or between facilities and users. This study then considers the costs to design the logistics network to improve the previous study. Facility location decision is made when the logistics system is started from scratch. Specifically, the location decision is often made when a new product or service is launched. The logistics network in this study is designed to distribute medical logistics aid of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease of 2019) in West Java. On March 11, 2020, WHO (World Health Organization) announced COVID-19 pandemic. A month later, April 13, 2020, President Joko Widodo officially announced COVID-19 as a national disaster. The location problem in this study belongs to single-echelon location problem. The method used in this study is optimal method by formulating the problem as an ILP (Integer Linier Programming) model. This study uses LINGO 12.0 to solve the model. This study has improved the previous study and it gives a different logistics network compared to the previous one. The process of delivering goods is very vital because it involves consumer satisfaction with the services offered by the company. However, the delivery of these goods is often delayed due to the lack of trucks owned and unable to track the location of the vehicle that is on its way. To overcome this problem, the warehouse supervisor controls the distribution of goods via WhatsApp or calls the driver to find out the location of the truck, but the information provided by the driver is often not in accordance with the actual situation. So that this problem does not continue to occur, we need an application that can track the driver's location in real time. The e-tracking application is designed by implementing extreme programming (XP) to produce android-based applications by utilizing the GPS feature embedded in each driver's mobile device. This application is very effective in recording the journey of the vehicle or goods being delivered, by producing a track record of the trip where this application can track the location of the driver so that the process of sending material from the warehouse to the project location can be controlled by the warehouse to the maximum. Robots are an integrated part of the industrial internet of things (IIoT). In this paper, an autonomous wheeled mobile robot (AWMR) is designed and developed that operates on a robot operating system. The requirement of this robot was it must deliver required equipment, and parts to the desired location in a warehouse, so an autonomous navigation system has been implemented which directs the robot from start to end goals through the required path avoiding obstacles. After building the hardware of the robot the electronic and necessary interconnections, data exchange system, and software were installed. For mapping and localization, SLAM is used which takes LiDAR data for effective mapping. After running the necessary tests on the platform, several remedies have been suggested for the issues that were discovered during the tests. The developed AWMR is used for the transport application of warehouse management. It is successfully transferred material with obstacle avoidance capability in the pathways. A lot of social and economic problems accumulated in the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union. They have become particularly pronounced in recent decades, when there have been notable positive changes in the economic and social development and living standards of the population in the rest of the republic. One of the most important problems hindering the socio-economic development of the economy and the activity of the population of the Arctic zone was and still is the lack of permanent transport links, which negatively affects all aspects of economic development and many existing problems are a direct consequence of this problem. All the Arctic zone uluses do not have year-round surface roads inside the uluses that connect to other settlements or other uluses. There are roads only between single large settlements within uluses and mainly from airports to district centers, or to industrial settlements. All roads were built during the heyday of the Soviet Union. During the year, the main communication between settlements and the capital of the republic is carried out year–round only by air, in winter - by winter snow road. The bulk of cargo and passenger traffic is carried out by river transport to the riverine settlements of the Arctic and northern regions from summer to autumn. The absence of highways and a new type of economical transport for year-round cargo delivery leads to the fact that there is an annual problem of the "northern" import of food and other life-support goods of the popu-lation, including for production purposes (basic foodstuffs, industrial products, including fuel), which must reach destinations for a short navigation period of the Arctic (1.5-2 months). The absence of year-round land roads and other types of vehicles in an extremely harsh climate leads to a long delivery time of goods to their destinations and their damage during transportation, as well as large additional costs for storage in warehouses. On average in the republic, the shipments of external deliveries are in transit for 270-280 days, and taking into account the storage time - a year or more (up to 400-700 days for the most remote districts). As a consequence, the share of transportation expenses in the cost of the final product will increase by 40-70% or more, which is several times higher than the average Russian one and determines the competitiveness of development in such conditions only of enterprises producing products with a high share of added value and small volumes of necessary transport support [1]. The Russian Encyclopedic Dictionary defines intelligence as cognition, understanding, the ability to think, rational cognition. The concept of "intelligence" in the Newest dictionary of foreign words and expressions is defined as the mind, reason, intellectual ability of a person. Supply chain is an interaction vehicle of actors supplier, manufacturer and consumer. Interactions are characterized by the flow of goods from one actor to another. There is a phenomenon where the flow is influenced by effectiveness of goods since the delivery from the supplier, to the manufacturer, to the consumer. Variations in the numberof goods to suit the needs are reduced, while the flow of fulfilment of goods must be adjusted to the consumer's demand. This research will focus on efforts to organize multiple suppliers against one manufacturer, then the manufacturer distributes to consumers, taking into account the probability of goods starting to be delivered until received by each actor contained in the supply chain. The simulation approach is utilized to estimate the number of goods that must be shipped from supplier to producer and from producer to consumers, using Monte Carlo simulation. The simulation results show that in order to meet the needs of consumers based on, the suitability of the effectiveness will be measure by amount of distribution cost among the actor. The work is devoted to the analysis of digital production modeling problems bythe example of assembly production of electronic modules on printed circuit boards using the discrete simulation modeling methods. A design methodology based on a two-level decomposition of production facilities is proposed. At the first level of decomposition, the assembly process was divided into individual operations followed by a classification of these operations by implementation type - automatic or manual. Further, for each classified operation on the second, lower level, decomposition into separate technological transitions was carried out with a simultaneous decomposition of technological equipment and tooling into separate functional units. The second level of decomposition is considered bythe example of modeling the manual installation operation of components with the participation of digital models of anthropomorphic dummies, simulating the work of assemblers. The experimental part of the work considers several models with different compositions, layouts, and numbers of manual workplaces. Various layout options of the production line are evaluated to perform its workload distribution based on the loading of processing equipment. The proposed model allows simulating the startup of new production, optimizing the changeover of processing equipment and the number of operating personnel according to integral and differential criteria, and organizing material flows with the participation of an automated warehouse. The use of solar energy is an effective solution to improve the energy performance of buildings and limit their impact on the environment, but it remains intermittent and seasonal. This is why it is essential to use a solar thermal energy storage system as a means of ensuring the thermal autonomy of buildings. In this context, this paper aims at modeling a thermochemical heat storage system for buildings. The moist air operating model was chosen as the most suitable mode for seasonal thermochemical storage, for a reactor containing a fixed bed of SrBr2 (strontium bromide) of high density, as well as a thermochemical storage model: Sharp Front operating in moist air was mathematically modeled. This one-dimensional model; allows us to determine the reaction time of thermal energy storage and to calculate the energy of hydration/dehydration reaction of the SrBr2/H2O pair. The growing interest of customers towards online shopping have given a good impact to the e-commerce platform nowadays especially during this pandemic which have a strict limitation of movement among citizen in Malaysia. However, some issue regarding the courier services have arisen regarding the poor service quality that customers received recently and some issue related to warehouse operation arises in certain situation such as product delay, product defects, and short space for inventory placement which create lower productivity and service performance. In order to overcome this situation, this study identified the implementation of lean warehousing in improving service productivity performance in courier company. This research will be focusing on the courier services company that available in Malaysia Delivery Express X is selected as it is one of the courier services that frequently used by customers as a platform to delivers their parcels. This research been conducted using qualitative method which the data been collected by interviewing the respondent and the data gathered is analyzed using Arena Simulation Software. The finding shows what is the best alternative used to improve the service productivity performance of courier service. From this research, the courier service industry can make use of the finding for future purposes and future researcher can explore more about the lean warehousing in courier service industry. The recent Italian seismic events, such as the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquake, have highlighted the vulnerability of the Italian built heritage, including the industrial buildings. Most of these buildings were erected before the classification in seismic areas of the territory and, therefore, designed for static vertical and horizontal wind loads only. Industrial steel buildings have shown a good behaviour under earthquake, but they represent a structural typology at risk, considering that the vulnerability of warehouses is connected, in addition to life safety, also to preserving the goods stored inside. Starting from a large-scale survey in the municipality of Cercola, in the district of Naples, the industrial buildings of the late 1980s have been selected and a class of constructions representing the most common type widespread on the Italian territory has been identified. After defining a range of geometrical parameters for the selected structure, five similar types of buildings have been calculated with the allowable stresses method according to the design manuals of that period and then subjected to non-linear static analyses. Pushover and fragility curves of the five models with both empirical and mechanical approaches have been derived in order to assess the probability of damage in the different seismic hazard areas of the Italian territory. The aim of this paper is to construct a mathematical model for warehouse inventory and optimize it to get the least cost. The proposed mathematical model is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) model. The model used is in a probabilistic environment. Recording all the items' information is a time-consuming process; yet some of the agricultural products stored in AgroHUB Banten have a short lifespan and need to be recorded quickly before they are distributed to another area. This paper proposes an RFID-based warehouse management system to reduce the time needed to record goods, especially perishable agricultural products. Therefore, this paper aims to develop a real-time data analytics system design for monitoring the performance in an IoT-based smart warehouse environment. A construction project involves many parties during its transport process, including various kinds of labor, equipment, and materials; the success of a construction project is determined by the provision of all three. If an issue were to arise with any of the three aspects, the entire project's progress would be hindered. In this research, an analysis on supply chain of construction materials, specifically concrete, reinforcement steel and bricks will be conducted. The method used in this research is Fermat's Theorem Method; in order to support the analysis with this method, a series of data collected from several respondents will be included. Influential factors in regards to the supply chain of concrete, reinforcement steel and bricks will be determined to assess the condition of the supply chain. The projects of this analysis are 2 building projects in the city of Banjarmasin, South Borneo. Analysis results on concrete materials show that the most influential factor in the distribution of concrete is the material's quality. This is because the factors that affect concrete quality are themselves influenced by its distribution; when the distribution process is riddled with problems, the arrival of the materials would take more time, and as a result the concrete's quality would degrade. The main factor that affects the distribution of reinforcement steel is the quality of the material ordered, while another factor that supports it would be getting reinforcement steel specifically produced by PT. Baja Krakatau. There are at least 3 different places these projects purchased their reinforced steel from, all of which distribution warehouses are situated in a range of 50-150 km away from where the projects take place. Meanwhile, in brick distribution, the main determining factor would be the choice of location. The shorter the distributor's distance from a project, the less chance for late shipment arrival, and the smaller the delivery cost. Bricks are purchased through a small distributor that acquires its supply from at least 4 different distributors within the vicinity in order to press down the delivery cost and reduce delivery time. Establishing a sustainable industry is a very important goal for leather tanning companies in Indonesia. The production of leather products has continued to increase over the past five years and the government regulations for the industry to use resources sustainably requires companies to improve their achievements in implementing environmentally friendly systems and measuring the risk of waste that has been generated so that the system will be sustainable for all aspects of all business activities. Therefore, leather tanning companies need to pay attention to the risks that can impact the continuity of their sustainable production systems. The objectives of this study are to identify risks, develop prevention strategies, and monitor the risks in the supply chain for leather production. This study uses the SCOR method to describe the activities in the supply chain for leather production and also to identify risk events and risk agents. Then, using the HOR method, risk events are prioritized and a prevention strategy is developed. In this study, twenty-two (22) risk agents were selected which is formulated and produces seven (7) possible preventive actions. Each waste has a root cause that has the impact and potential of events that vary and affect the goal so that it can be called as a risk. This study aims to get a strategy to reduce waste in order to get an effective and efficient production activity. The research begins by identifying waste in value stream mapping, followed by risk assessment and identification of the root cause of waste. There are 10 potential wastes are found with the wet material is root cause of the highest risk: the production stoppage. The proposed strategy from this research is a proposed design for the warehouse and develop a new standard operation procedure for burning raw materials and make a form for recording the submission of change of load and flow of the submission process. This paper studies a facility location problem within a closed-loop supply chain framework using discrete-event simulation. The growing pressure on the environmental impact from consumers, governments, and non-governmental organisations has led companies to take responsibility in product recovery processes. This paper integrates CO2 emission as one of the environment considerations into the simulation model. The aim of this paper is to find the best configurations of locating collection centres that will minimise both total logistical costs and total emissions. Three scenarios were proposed to simulate on finding the best collection centres' location. Preliminary experiments were conducted using Exeter city geographical area. In meeting the needs of production demand, the warehouse is the heart of its services and is one of the strategic functions in reducing costs in the company, warehouse operations such as picking, storage, account for the largest cost of around 50-70% in its activities. With case studies on manufacturing companies in the oil and energy sector that aim to improve warehouse operational efficiency, initial data obtained from warehouse process problems at this company are warehouse operations, visual control, and work culture. By proposing a lean warehouse method with the concept of VSM, 5S uses waste analysis, which is carried out in the warehouse operation process, visualizes a future improvement, the result is a decrease in operating time activity by measuring loading-unloading activities by 31%, receiving 30%, and storage 22 %.
